My Little Girl-Ch 20
The day of the party had arrived and a very nervous Penelope Grace Garcia was currently pacing back and forth across the living room with Jack and Henry sitting on the couch watching their aunt as she walked back and forth across the huge room.
Jack got her attention by calling her name and when Penelope heard her say, "aunt P", she stopped walking and turned to him and said, "yes sweetie?", he then said, "why are you doing that?" as he moved his finger from left to right motioning in the direction that she'd been walking.
Penelope said, "I'm sorry Jackers but I've just got a lot on my mind right now that's all, I'm okay", Henry said, "you promise?", she walked over and got down on her knees in front of the two boys and said, "I promise", the two little boys then threw their arms around her and hugged her tight.
Derek stood in the door watching with a huge smile on his face, he then turned around and walked over to join the others in the dining room where the party would be happening.
The backyard was already decorated for the wedding/reception for the next day so the party was in the extremely large dining room at casa Rossi and to say that the room looked amazing was an understatement.
Penelope walked into the room with Jack and Henry and said, "wowwww, this is amazing" as she looked around at all of the balloons and streamers that were all over the room and of course at the end of the room was a table filled with gifts from everybody.
Derek walked over and wrapped his arms around his baby girl and said, "don't worry sweetness, everything is going to be alright", she blew out a deep breath and said, "I hope so handsome because I can't lose her , I can't lose my little girl".
He kissed the side of her neck and said, "our little girl goddess, our little girl", she then turned in his arms and said, "our little girl" before being gently pulled into his arms for an amazing kiss, a kiss that was oh so needed right now to try to calm down a very nervous mommy.
As Derek and Penelope pulled apart they heard somebody knocking on the door, everybody looked at each other and Hotch nodded his head yes and said, "well then, let's get this party started", Penelope said, "I'll go get the birthday girl" as she walked out of the dining room to get Jazzy who was currently with her aunts in another room.
Reid said, "he's up to something, I just know he is, it's written all over his face", they looked up to see Dave walking toward the door and Emily said, "let's just hope that he slips up and we are able to catch him at it and with the judge here too, that would be the icing on the cake".
They all nodded their heads yes as they stepped out into the living room just in time to see Dave open the door so that they could see Rosemary, Gretchen, Christopher and Daniel standing there.
Dave said, "please come in, come in" as he stepped back to allow them to come inside the house, after they stepped inside he closed the door and said, "the others are in the living room" as he made his way across the room with the foursome right behind him.
