My Little Girl-Ch 35
Penelope and Fran sat side by side on the bed as they waited for what seemed to be the longest five minutes in recorded history before the timer finally dinged, letting them know that it was time to check the pregnancy tests that were currently laying on the counter in said bathroom.
Fran said, "come on honey, let's go see the results", Penelope nodded her head yes as they then both stood up and made their way across the bedroom and disappeared into the bathroom to check and see if their lives were getting ready to change for the better and change forever.
Meanwhile, downstairs the team walked through the front door, they'd managed to come home earlier than they'd expected and they couldn't wait to see everybody and spend some much needed family time so JJ and Emily had left straight from the airport and headed to pick up their boys so that everybody could be together for the first time in over three weeks.
When they made it into the living room Derek said, "baby girlllll, mommaaaaa, we're home", they stopped and looked around and neither saw or heard anything anywhere downstairs causing them to wonder just where everybody was.
Hand Jack were playing with Clooney and Mudgie on the floor while the others started looking around the house for any signs of Fran, Penelope, Sarah or Desi who all four seemed to be missing at the same time.
Just as Penelope took the pregnancy tests in her hands, she blew out a deep breath and then looked down at her hands, she closed her eyes and opened them again and saw the same thing that she'd seen previously and that was three positive pregnancy tests.
She squealed and then hugged Fran, well downstairs the team had heard Penelope squeal and started making their way toward the staircase to see what was going on, they wanted to see what was making Penelope squeal like that.
They ran into her bedroom and Derek said, "baby girl" as he ran from the bedroom into the bathroom where he saw his mother and wife hugging each other with tears streaming down their faces.
When they turned to see their family standing there Derek said, "what's wrong, are you hurt?" as he started examining his wife and mother to make sure they weren't hurt in any way at all
Fran said,"we're fine honey, wait, aren't you home early?", Dave walked closer and said, "that we are Bella but don't change the topic, what's wrong with kitten, why did she squeal like that?", Fran looked at Penelope and grinned as Penelope blew out a deep breath and readied to tell the what was wrong.
Derek looked at her and said, "baby, you're scaring me", she said, "don't be scared handsome, I have news that's going to change our lives forever", he said, "what news is that goddess?", she handed Derek the trio of pregnancy tests and said, "well daddy according to these tests I'm pregnant, and this one here says that I'm 12 weeks along sooooooo".
Derek said, "baby, we're having a baby?", Penelope said, "yep, you and me are having a little Morgan in ohhhhhh about 6 months or so give or ta" and before she could finish her sentence he'd picked her up and started twirling her around.
Fran said, "honey swinging a woman around, a pregnant woman isn't good, she's been throwing up all moringgggggg", Derek said, "ohhhh I'm sorry, I'm sorry as he stopped twirling her around, he then dropped to his knees in front of her and kissed her stomach and said, "hello in there little one, I'm your daddy and I want to let you know that I love you and can't wait to meet you".
Seconds later the rest of the team gathered around and started hugging and congratulating the parents to be on the best news they'd had in a while, the news that some time in April or early May they would be welcoming a new member to their family.
