"Hey do you want to come over and catch up tonight? We can put the game on, so you can keep an eye on someone," April teased. Lynzee had left for her roadtrip and the two hadn't talked since Arizona had asked Lynzee to leave after Rebecca had ruined their morning.

"Hey, I'd love to come by, but we don't have to put the game on. I think I struck out on that one. It was fun though, while it lasted."

"What?! What happened!"

"You remember the blonde woman?"

"Oh yeah the really bossy one that was annoying everyone?"

"That's the one. She is batshit crazy. You know Lynzee is her only client? She controls her every move, and if Lynzee falls out of line she blows a gasket. First, she blocked my phone number so I couldn't contact her, and then she showed up at my house early in the morning freaking out because Lynzee had stayed the night and it might look bad. And she had her hands all over her. She's clearly into Lynzee who says her agent is just passionate about her job but I can see it's more than that." Arizona threw her hands up. "Needless to say, we haven't spoken since. Well, she's tried texting me a couple times but I told her I needed some time."

"Wow, yeah she does sound crazy. Wait, she stayed over?! You didn't tell me that!"

"Yeah well, it was all great until the next morning."

"Well maybe when she gets back into town the two of you can get back on the same page."

"Yeah, I don't know. It probably never would have worked anyway with all the travel she has to do, and I'm not really into being in a thruple."

"A what?"

"A thruple. April, a three-way couple, you know?"

"That's a thing?!"

"Oh, April. We have to get you out more."

Arizona and April headed into the attending's lounge and found Alex watching The Today Show.

"Hey Robbins, isn't that your girlfriend?"

Arizona looked up at the tv and saw Lynzee was sitting there appearing as if she was about to be interviewed.

"She's not my girlfriend, but turn it up."

Alex laughed as he turned up the volume a bit, "Sure."

Good morning Lynzee thanks for joining us.

Yeah, thanks for having me, it's a pleasure.

So you are making tons of headlines, you're the first female baseball in the history of Major League Baseball, how are you adjusting to that and everything now that the season has officially started?

It's been great, the city of Seattle has been amazing welcoming me and accepting of a woman in baseball and so far all of the other cities have been really receptive as well.

I know initially there was some negative in the media about the logistics of having a woman in baseball but you seem to have made the transition seamless and may can pave the way for other women to join the sport as well.

Well we're definitely on the right track. Baby steps, right? But yeah I don't see why we can't have more women in the MLB. If you have the talent and can play with the boys I say bring it on.

So, as I understand it, you also have an announcement to make, are you ready to share that?

Sure, now is as good a time as any…. I'm gay. That's it

Arizona put her hand over her mouth, "Oh my God"

"Did people not know?" Alex asked. "That's not an announcement."

Lynzee, why the need for the announcement?

Well, if I don't just put it out there. Some people will wonder, it'll become a thing and then that will become a constant story which takes away from the story I want to tell. Which is any little girl growing up out there can grow up to be anything she wants to be, no matter your background. So it was important to me to get ahead of any stories that start to come out wondering what my sexuality is. I just put it out there, so that's it. Story over. Run it and be done with it and let's get back to playing baseball.

Well there you have it folks. Lynzee, thank you so much for joining us this morning. You have been so inspirational to so many by what you're doing, we wish you the best on your next game and the rest of the season!

Thank you.

The show went to commercial and Arizona stood there shocked.

"Why are you so shocked, I know you knew she was gay, if you know what I mean," Alex teased.

"Nice, Alex. I'm just shocked because her agent seemed so against her being publicly out right now, is all."

"Maybe she fired her," April chimed in.

Arizona considered this, as she headed to the pediatric floor.

There was a light knock on the door. It was late that night and Arizona was taking her last drink of water in the kitchen before heading to bed. Arizona paused and listened at the door for a moment as she wasn't sure she had heard a knock or not. There was another soft knock on the door and Arizona set her water glass down on the counter and headed towards the front door.

As Arizona looked out the peep hole she saw Lynzee turning around and start heading out towards the street and Arizona quickly unlocked and opened the door. Lynzee turned around as she heard the door open and put her hands in her pockets.

"Hey, I know it's late, I'm sorry did I wake you?"

Arizona was standing there in her red fleece pajama pants with santa hats on them and a white cami tank top with her arms crossed. "I was just getting ready to go to bed."

"Yeah, okay sorry. I just got back into town, I thought I'd see if you were awake. I can catch up with you later. Goodnight." Lynzee started to turn to leave again.

"I'm not asleep yet..."

Lynzee turned back and Arizona stepped back from the door signaling to Lynzee she could come in if she wanted. Lynzee headed back up to the front door and came inside. Arizona headed to the living room and sat down.

"You can come in and sit down if you want or stand whichever."

Lynzee slowly walked into the living room and sat next to Arizona.

"Arizona, I'm really sorry about what happened the other morning. I've cleared some things up with my agent and made it clear that while she can manage a lot of the aspects of my career, she doesn't get to dictate my personal life or get to control who I talk to, visit, or sleep with, and if she had a problem with that there were plenty of other agents that would be willing to represent me."

Arizona listened patiently.

"Anyway, I don't expect anything from you, I just wanted to let you know and to say thank you. It may have taken me longer to figure out some things with Rebecca that clearly needed addressed. I'm just sorry it all had to happen at your expense... Anyway, I'll let you get to bed." Lynzee go up and started for the door.

"I saw your interview on The Today Show." Lynzee stopped and slowly turned.

"Yeah?"

"I thought, that was very brave, what you did."

"Thanks."

"I take it that wasn't Rebecca's idea?" Arizona raised an eyebrow.

Lynzee laughed a little, "Oh, hell no. She was very much against it."

"Well, then I like the idea even more." Arizona smiled. "When is your next game?"

"Tomorrow."

"Here in town?"

"Yeah. We're playing the Cubs."

"Do you know where I can get tickets?"

Lynzee smiled. "I may have a source. Let me know how many you want and I'll make sure you get them tomorrow." Lynzee stood up. "I should get going. Let you get to bed."

Arizona stood up too and walked Lynzee to the door and grabbed Lynzee's hand before she grabbed the door knob, "Hey... I'm glad you came by tonight."

Lynzee smiled, "Me too. Goodnight Arizona." Lynzee kissed Arizona gently on the cheek.

Arizona grabbed Lynzee's face with her hands and kissed her gently on the lips. "Good night."
