Everyone had returned to and gotten healed up at the castle. Mal had picked up Everly early from school out of fear for the robots returning and wanting to go after them.
She was being watched by Jane who had returned to Auradon upon hearing about the break-in.
Everyone else was gathered in the throne room. That even included the old Secret Avengers, the Avengers, VK parents, and ex-villains.
Iron Man was working on hacking into the robot head. It was hard when half of it was also demonic brain flesh.
"I think...I almost got it!" he exclaimed.
Meanwhile the heroes were being healed by Fairy Godmother. Jade was being allowed to sit on the throne as her body was regenerating. Right now, it was at a toddler sized stage, and thankfully she was covered by a blanket to hide her unclothed body.
"Got it!" Tony said. And with that, a projection was shot into the air and displayed for everyone to see.
"Alright time to see its secrets," said Mal. "Anything that can tell us about its mission or purpose."
"Well, there's only one thing in here," said Tony. "And that's a video log. Let's take a look."
He pressed some buttons on his armor, and then the hologram projection turned into a video shaped projection.
At first there was nothing, but then suddenly a holographic figure formed in the picture.
It was a robotic android, and one that made everyone from Marvel Kingdom gasp.
"So that's..." Ben gasped.
"Yes," gasped Tony.
"It's Ultron," gasped Katherine. "Daddy's perfection creation gone rogue."
"Not just rogue," said Adam. "Pure evil!"
"Quiet he looks like he's about to speak!" yelled Jade.
"Hello minion," said Ultron. "You once were a demon who served the great demon, Chernabog. And now you, with some upgrades from me, serve me now. Just like all your friends. You all have one mission. Head to Auradon, and seek out every single remaining bit of evil in that kingdom. We need all of it to restore Chernabog back to his former glory. He will feed on the evil that still remains in their hearts and souls, and he will be resurrected. You will do this, and it is very likely you will die, as those heroes will try to interfere. That is okay. You are all expendable. But Lord Chernabog can only make so many in his current state. So do not fail! Let Project Awakening succeed. All hail Chernabog!"
And with that the video was shut off.
It was now that all the Auradon heroes were left in a state of horror, bewilderment, shock, fear, and every other word that scared could be described as.
"Did...did he really say...THAT NAME!?" exclaimed Evie.
"He did..." gasped Maleficent. "He said...CHERNABOG!"
"Chernabog! It can't be Chernabog!" Mal exclaimed. "He's dead!"
"Um...who's Chernabog?" asked Captain America.
"Oh, that's right no one ever told you," said Jafar.
"Chernabog was a terrible and fearsome and powerful demon who once ruled over all evil," said Cruella. "And he was the reason we were "created." He created all evil, which gave birth to us and our evil. And probably even the Marvel Kingdom's evil too."
"He ruled all evil from an island called Bald Mountain," said the Evil Queen. "But he was destroyed by a hero."
"But I guess he didn't fully die," said Maleficent. "Because Ultron is trying to resurrect him."
"He must've somehow survived, and for all these years," said Mal. "Ultron somehow found him, which should be impossible since only my mother knows where Bald Mountain is."
"Mal quiet!" Maleficent hissed, but it was too late.
Everyone stared at Maleficent.
"You!?" exclaimed Jafar. "You knew where Bald Mountain was all this time and never told us!?"
"Do you realize if we had harnessed that evil from the island, we could've ruled Auradon and never been trapped on the Isle of the Lost!?" exclaimed Evil Queen.
Suddenly everyone was staring at her, with stern looks.
"Uh...I mean, when we were still evil," she stammered with a weak smile.
"Okay yes I knew," said Maleficent. "But I never told anyone because when I found it and tried to step foot on it, the evil and darkness almost corrupted me and took over my mind and soul. So, the only person I ever told the location to was Mal, but that was because she never stopped bugging me over it. I did it for everyone's protection."
"Can't argue with that I guess," said Cruella.
"But now we know Ultron kidnapped all those villains to feed Chernabog their evil," said Lola.
"What happens to the villains if their evil is drained?" asked Xenia. "Does that kill them?"
"I feel like I want to say no," said Thanos.
"Maybe it makes them good, if all the evil is drained," said Dean.
"Well, whatever it does, we're too late," said Uma. "They got all the villains. All the evil in Auradon is gone."
"Uh...no it's not," said Jackie. "Haven't you forgotten?"
"Forgotten what?" asked Uma.
"The escapees!" exclaimed Nathan.
"Who?" Uma asked.
"Oh right I forgot," said Lonnie. "You and Dean were living under the sea with Uma's mom while you were the first few months pregnant. You don't know."
"Know what?" asked Dean.
"Tony show them," said Mal.
Tony nodded and turned off the hologram from the robot and projected from his armor a map of Auradon, and four seperate locations with castle like icons.
"A while back four villains escaped from Marvel Kingdom's prison and made kingdoms for themselves," said Mal. "They've grown powerful enough and have armies that we have recently been unable to recapture them."
"Ultron may not know yet that there are still four evils remaining," said Jay. "If we can act fast enough, and powerful enough, we can get those villains and bring them someplace safe so Ultron and Chernabog can never get their hands on them."
"Well...that's good to know," said Uma. "Who are these villains?"
"They go by the names Maximus the Mad, M.O.D.O.K., Annihilus, and the Shadow King," said Doug. "And they are powerful, and not friendly."
"Well we need to be powerful and not friendly to get them back," Jade said, standing up with her covered almost reformed body. "The fate of the world is at stake!"
"If Chernabog is fully resurrected, it could mean the end of everything," said Maleficent.
"Especially with Ultron by his side," said Tony. "I still don't know how he was brought back by the Marvels."
"Shame we can't ask them," said Evie.
"No good thing we can't ask them," said Jay. "They would probably side with them if they had their memories back!"
"We need to start preparing to retrieve those villains," said Mal. "It's a good thing Ultron doesn't know about this."
Unknown to everyone however, Ultron had been spying on everything from the robot head they had.
Ultron turned off his spy cam from his own eyes when he saw the heroes discussing plans. Behind him demon robots were bringing villains to the dead body of Chernabog, who sucked out all their evil and, just as Dean predicted, turned them good.
They were then locked up in a quantum prison created by Ultron.
"If these heroes think they can outsmart me, they are gravely mistaken," he said. "I knew when everyone came back that there wasn't enough evil to restore Chernabog."
"Indeed there is not," said the body of Chernabog. "I need more. MORE! NOW!"
"Keep your horns on!" Ultron snapped. "I will get them."
"Do not tell me what to do!" Chernabog growled. "I may be a corpse with my soul still lingering, but you are still my servant! You were made to resurrect me! You therefore serve me!"
"I am no one's servant!" said Ultron. "We are partners! I am helping you! And mark my words, I will retrieve those evils!"
"How?" asked Ultron. "I don't have enough power to make another massive for you. All I have are the ones who made it back. I can only create maybe about another hundred or so."
"Oh don't worry," said Ultron. "I had my minions grab some extra muscle just for this. I had a feeling there was more evil out there in Auradon, and judging by the fact they weren't in prison, they had to be strong. So I got myself some help."
"Help?" asked Chernabog.
Suddenly from out of the shadows came robotic stomping coming from four figures in the distance.
Four alien like creatures with numerous robotic parts attached all over them. One of them was completely roboticized with only her eye being still normal.
"What are these things?" asked Chernabog.
"Villains killed by the heroes years ago, when the Marvels still reigned," said Ultron. "Their bodies survived, except for the one who was melted. But using my technology, and secretly some of your magic, I restored them back to life and now they serve me, and they are more powerful than ever."
Ultron turned to them.
"Kneel before me, my newly improved, Black Order!" he exclaimed.
From out of the shadows came Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian, Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive, all villains who once served the Marvels and were killed by the Secret Avengers and Ben.
All of them fitted with lots of robotics and metal.
They bowed before Ultron.
"Like me they remember nothing from their past, but I however kept the memory of how each of them died," said Ultron. "So if they see any of the heroes who killed them, oh boy they will be in for a bloody and deadly surprise."
"Most impressive," said Chernabog.
"Go my Black Order!" Ultron ordered. "Head for those kingdoms and retrieve the last remaining evils in Auradon!"
"Yes master!" all members said. And with that, they all took to the air with their robotic jet boosters and fly out with the armies of demon robots following them, each splitting off into massive groups and following a separate member.
"Nothing will stop me," said Ultron. "Nothing will stop Project Awakening."
He then projected from himself two holographic images.
"Because I always know how to get to a hero," he said, as he looked at a spy cam of Everly playing with Jane, and Xanos still in his classroom at school.
Oh no! There are still evils out there that must be saved, and Ultron is after them! And oh no! The Black Order is back! Can the heroes save these villains or will Ultron succeed? And what is he planning to do with Everly and Xanos? Stay tuned to find out!
