Samara looked around. She could hear Tecna and Timmy talk to one of the highest army commander and his wife.

"Seriously if Eraklion would allow magic, the improvements of your army would be phenomenal." Tecna said showing him some sort of diagram on her portable computer.

The man nodded but his wife kept a wary glint in her eyes.

A bit further Layla, Musa and Riven were talking to some noble women about Andros.

"Could you imagine if something like that would happen here?" One woman with a big blue hat on said.

"Without any form of magic to protect you, I would't want to be here when that happens." Riven said.

She walked on until she found the person she was looking for. Palladium was talking at the buffet with three people who seemed very interested in his story.

"And that is how that certain potion can heal almost any infection." Palladium concluded his story.

"Interesting, I never realized how helpfull magic can be." One man with a small grey beard said.

"Good evening doctor Cormack." Samara said.

Doctor Cormack bowed. "Good evening to you your Royal Highness."

Samara refrained from correcting the man. At this event, titles meant a huge deal.

"I see you have met my partner." She said with a smile.

"Indeed I have and I must say that he is a very briljant young man."

His eyes went back to the elf. "Mister Palladium, would you be so kind to come back here for some sort of demonstration of your healing potions?"

His companions began to protest slightly but Cormack seemed to ignore them. Palladium's face went a bit red.

"I…well I…I would love to doctor…"He sputtered.

Samara smiled. She loved it when she could see a bit of the old Palladium shine through.

"Impossible!" One of the other men now said loudly. "Magic potions here in Eraklion?!"

"Magic has done us far too bad than it will do us good!" A small man with a long beard said. "You need to watch yourself Cormack, you know magic is forbidden and for a good reason."

"Just think how many people we could have saved…"

"Doctor Cormack, we can discuss this some other time." Samara said trying to sound most regal. "We would like to invite you to visit us at Alfea to discuss matters privately."

The other two men shot her a nasty look but quickly stepped back when she looked directly back at them.

"That would be my honour your Highness." Cormack said.

He bowed once again and Samara and Palladium walked on.

"That was interesting." Palladium said. "We might have an opening here."

"Yes, I like doctor Cormack, he is a good man." Samara said. "I just didn't wanto to cause a scene." "Too bad those two dusty old…

"Oh Samara there you are!" Bloom said as she walked up to them. "Have you seen Sky, he went to get something to drink but now I've lost him."

"No we haven't, but the ceremony starts any minute now so perhaps he's already with our parents." Samara said.

"Come on, we'll find the others." Palladium said as he somewhat hesitantly held out his arm for her to take.

She took his arm and after the elf gave his princess a quick peck on the cheek they disappeared into the crowd. Samara turned around to see one of the guards walking up to her.

"It is time your Royal Highness."

Samara nodded and followed him towards an elevated part of the garden. Her parents and Sky were already there.

"There you are." Queen Samara said. "Are you done promoting your hideous thoughts?"

Samara huffed but did not answer. People were gathering around them. She took her place and remained quiet. Her eyes drifted towards Sky, who stood perfectly still with a somewhat weird look in his eyes. Must be the nerves.

"May I have your attention please!" a member of the Royal staff said loudly.

The voices died down almost immediately. Samara searched the crowd until she found the Winx, specialistsl and Palladium stand in the middle. She could almost feel the nervousness radiate off of Bloom. Palladium met her eyes and gave her a quick wink. She smiled back to him.

"My dear people, friends!" King Erendor spoke loudly. "It does me great pleasure to have you all here to celebrate our kingdoms existance." "As King and Queen of Eraklion it is our honor to announce the next in line for the throne." "As you all know we are in the exceptional position to have two possible heirs to the throne."

Samara and Sky each took a small step forward.

"This is a first in the history of Eraklion." King Erendor went on. "But after carefull consideration…"

Samara smirked a little. Sky remained perfectly still.

"We have come to the decision that Prince Sky will be Crown Prince from this day forward!"

Everyone started to applaud and as she took a step back, Samara joined them. Sky's smile was bigger and seemed more sincere.

"Thank you everyone!"Sky said. "It is the greatest honor to become Crown Prince of such a great kingdom." "I will do everything in my power to help us grow even stronger."

Another shorter round of applause sounded.

"Now I do have one more announcement to make…"

Samara saw Bloom slowly moving to the front of the crowd with a nervous smile on her face.

"I am happy to share with you all that I am to be bethroved…"

Bloom stood in the middle of the front row, waiting for Sky to ask her to join him.

"that is if she'll have me…would you do me the greatest honor to become my wife, Lady Diaspro?"

Samara's smile turned into a frown in half a second.

"What…what did you say?" She asked.

But she was ignored completely as Diaspro stepped onto the platform next to Sky.

"Of course I will my darling!" She said as she gave Sky a kiss.

Samara was still in shock, staring at the two.

King Erendor seemed also confused and moved towards his son but Queen Samara stopped him and whispered "Let them, this is good Erendor…"

Samara snapped out of it and stepped in front of Sky.

"What are you doing?" She hissed.

"Sky, I don't want her here, she scares me." Diaspro whined as she grabbed the Prince's arm.

"Sky what the hell?" Layla's voice sounded from behind Samara.

"They need to leave Sky, they're witches trying to hurt me." Diaspro went on.

"Guards, take the fairies as prisoner, they are a threat to me and my fiancee!" Sky suddenly ordered.

Samara could not believe her ears. "What the fuck are you doing?!"

People started to scream as the entire Royal Guard ran into the garden. Samara turned around to see that Flora, Helia, Tecna and Timmy were already being arrested.

"No, let them go!" She screamed.

Layla and Bloom who stood right next to her were also grabbed by some guards.

"I am your princess, let them go!" Samara shouted.

"Sorry princess, but the crown prince has a higher rank." One of the men said.

"What?" Samara turned back around to see that Sky had pulled out his sword and pointed it at her.

There was an evil look on his face. "Stay away from my fiancee you witch!"

He swung at her and Samara staggered a few steps back. She quickly ran into the crowd. As people ran in panic all she could think about was to find Palladium and her friends.

"There you are." Palladium said as she ran into him in the middle of the garden. The others were also there.

"What is happening?" Flora asked.

"I don't know…" Samara said.

"Sky betrayed me, that's what's going on." Bloom cried.

Five guards suddenly appeared through the fleeing people.

"Okay that's enough, MAGIC WINX!" Samara said.

She and the others all transformed into their fairy form. Layla transformed into her Enchantix form.

"What's the plan?" Stella asked.

"Get out of here without anyone getting hurt." Tecna said.

A flash of sunlight from Stella drove all the guards a few feet away from them.

"You guys get to the aircraft, I need to get to the bottom of this." Samara said.

"I am right behind you." Palladium said.

He clapped his hands together and a sword appeared. "That's better." He said.

The two of them shared a quick look together and nodded.

"I need to get to Sky, something is wrong with him." Samara said.

"Flying will draw too much attention." Palladium said. "We will have to make our way through the mass."

More and more guards were charging at them, it appeared their main focus was their princess. Samara and Palladium fought their way through, using as many defensive spells and tactics as possible.

"How many are there?" Palladium asked as Samara deflected two guards with a shield and he disarmed a guard with his sword.

"You knew Eraklion was strong in it's military." Samara said. "Now you get to experience it first hand."

She blinded two guards with a moonlight attack.

"There he is!" Palladium said as he nodded towards the palace doors.

Sky and Diaspro were running towards the doors, the King and Queen just a little in front of them.

"Go for it!" Palladium said.

Samara nodded and took off in the air, dodging the few people in front of her. Finally she broke free. They did not see her coming.

Moonlight blast!

Silver light appeared all around them and the four of them dropped to their knees.

"I can't see, the witch blinded me!" Diaspro screamed.

Samara took the opportunity and grabbed her brother under the armpits and hoisted him up in the air. He cursed and tried to wiggle himself free but she hold onto him tight, silently thanking her Charmix powers. She flew up to one of the towers and dropped him on the balcony.

"What in the devils name are you doing witch?!" He screamed.

"I want to talk to you." Samara said. "What happened to you?" "What are you doing with Diaspro?"

"Do not dare to say the name of my beloved!"

He charged at her with his sword but she dodged it.

"Sky!" She shrieked. "Snap out of it!" "It's me, your sister!"

"You are a witch, on longer my sister."

It came unforseen. A small knife in his coatpocket. A sharp pain in her side. She gasped and staggered off the balcony. Her wings luckily worked on inpulse.

"Samara!"

Palladium ran towards the place right underneath it as his fairy slowly decended. As she did she noticed a bright light shining near the aircrafts. Enchantix.

Palladium caught her as her wings gave up the last two meters.

"Samara, what happened?" Palladium asked as he tried to stop the bleeding.

"He…he stabbed me…" Samara said still in shock.

They both looked up as footsteps approached rapidly. More Royal Guards.

Palladium stood up, ready to defend his beloved but someone else beat him to it. The sound of swords clashing filled the air.

"Get her out of here!" Brandon shouted. "The others are already at the aircraft."

He and Palladium disarmed the guards and Palladium quickly took Samara in his arms.

"What about you?" Palladium asked.

"I'll be fine, just go!"

"I don't think so!"

Sky came running out of the tower, sword above his head. Samara raised her hand and a shield appeared around the three of them. The blue sword clashed hard against it, shattering the shield in pieces. Samara groaned.

"Not so fast buddy." Brandon said as he swung his sword against Sky's. "I don't know what's gotten into you, but I know this isn't the real Sky."

They started to fight.

"Go, they're waiting for you!" Brandon shouted as he blocked Sky.

"We're coming back for you Brandon." Samara said.

Palladium started to run as fast as he could. He used a shortcut through the forest where they had walked earlyer that day.

"There you are!" Musa said as they finally reached the red aircraft. "What took you so…"

She gasped when she saw the state of her friend. Samara could barely hold on to her conciousness.

"We need to get back to Alfea now!" Palladium said. "Flora, give me my bag." "It appears that this is no ordinary wound.

The fairy of Nature did so with trembling hands. Palladium put Samara on the floor and Riven and Timmy closed the doors.

"Wait, where's Brandon?" Stella asked.

"He wanted to stay behind to give us a chance to leave." Palladium said. "I'm sorry Stella."

Tears welled up in her eyes. "Don't worry…we'll get him back." She whispered.

That was the last Samara heard as everything around her disappeared in darkness.
