RWBY 40k – Salem, Mistress of Inquisition.

[Theme: Shingeki No Kyojin Opening 1].

A symbol of a Salem's father kingdom flag could be seen on a wall.

"They're the prey and we're the hunters!"

The symbol is destroyed by an explosion, revealing the title "Salem, Mistress of the Inquisition" with under it written in gold "The Great Crusade", behind the title was the flag of the Imperium with the two eagles.

"And we're the hunters!"

The camera goes away a little of the title before turning to the stars.

"Gods ignorant of the trampled flower's name, the bird that fell from the stars takes her by the wind."

The next scene shows Salem marching on the land after leaving a grave. Her clothes changing from Remnant clothes to the Imperium's clothes. Her sons join her march, appearing one after another with their own family. All of their faces are serious.

"Even if you pray, nothing will be changed."

The next scene shows a horde of Orks marching inside a ruined human city. Followed by another scene of a Chaos Daemon incursion coming from a gigantic eye in the sky.

"But that which can alter the present is the resolution to fight."

An army of Luna Wolves is present inside of a courtyard with the flags of the Imperium. A cut shows them making the salute. The third cut shows them drawing their swords. The fourth cut shows them launching themselves at the Orks.

"Tramping over corpses, swine who mock the will to advance."

The next scene shows rapid images of the Imperium Propaganda against Xenos like Orks, Eldars, Rangda, Psybrids and other Xenos.

"Peace of the cattle and the prosperity."

Scene showing walls of human cities by explosion of the enemy artillery, with the middle showing the symbol of the Imperium.

"The freedom of the dead, hungry eagle."

The next scene shows Salem blasted away by the explosions shocked but composing herself in the next second.

"Our caged humiliation signals the start of our retaliation. Beyond the worlds, we're hunters that slaughter our prey."

Horus, Fulgrim and Magnus runs at the Orks and destroys them with the help of their Astartes while using their powers against them. Horus especially kills a Warboss.

"As these surging surges burn away our bodies, we ignite the dusk with a crimson bolter and bullet!"

The next scene shows the ramparts of a Hive City defended by both Rogal Dorn and Perturabo. Perturabo activates a cannon that he controls to destroy the Orks in his way. The next cut shows Sanguinius and Horus defending themselves against Xenos who towered at their same height, with heads resembling lumps atop their round torsos. Possessing long and thick arms with in the end three stubby fingers. The next scene shows Salem with her silver armour running and charges with her blood katana against a Bloodletter followed by a fading of the Imperium flag floating.

"And we're the hunters!"

The scene shows an Astartes running in slow-motion on an Ork. The next scene shows the Primarchs exiting their barges along with their Legion. In front the silhouette of the Emperor also running.

"And we're the hunters!"

In front of the coming army, a gigantic horde of Orks. And the overlapping army of Astartes coming to them. Before chaining with images of fight of Guardsmens against Xenos, Astartes against Xenos and the four silhouettes deep inside the warp accompanied by their daemons.

"And we're the hunters!"

Inside the overlapping images, the Brothers Gods are present, looking with contempt the guardsmens facing them. The next cut shows the map of the Galaxy covered by the blood along with the apparitions of uncountable names of different human planets.

The last three cuts show Salem, the Primarchs and the Emperor in their armour.

As the music reaches its final part, Salem, the 20 Primarchs along their whole family could be seen on a mountain gazing to the stars with their back turned from the camera.

Ep 61: The Adorian-Helesian War.

Late 948.M30.

For the first time ever, two factions once united where now plunged inside a war of annihilation.

The attacks by dissident fleet of Adoria destroyed the majority of the Mechanicum colonies inside of TAFS in a matter of hours.

In Adoria, the capital of TAFS, the Primarch Kira Saito was shocked to the highest. He could see in TAFS Aurora, the images and videos transmitted by the High Poles of Communication and the TAFS Web, through holograms and phones.

Kira Saito: "I can't believe it… The worst has arrived."

Hidejirō Dovekun: "I believe we have made an error. The war is now inevitable."

Kira Saito: "Hidejirō. How many Astartes we have right now in TAFS?"

Hidejirō Dovekun: "Hm… 105.000 Astartes, the rest is all over the Galaxy."

Kira Saito: "They have to prepare from any attack of retaliation from the Mechanicum."

Hidejirō Dovekun: "Yes. I will."

Kira Saito: "Hm…"

On Helies VII, the Arch-Magos Viracius Mergacos in his personal room of the High Pole of the Forge-World. He could see the images of assault, vandalism and destruction of the Mechanicum temples inside of TAFS. Every passing minute shows that one more temple falling under control of the population, often with the help of local authorities.

His heart was seized by a cold wrath, hidden under his armour.

Viracius Mergacos: "They will all pay for this Heresy. Fortunately, my allies will come to my aid."

In the next weeks, the closest Forge-Worlds to Adoria send fleets and armies while the news spread that something bad is happening inside of TAFS while the exportation of Adorian technology has suddenly stopped all over the Imperium.

The fleet of Lacus Saito exited the warp, in the outskirts of TAFS. She could see that a gigantic fleet of Adorian ships exiting the planets. Hundreds and hundreds of different shapes and size. (Note: These vessels are Dogosse Giar-class ships used in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam).

Capcom: "Contact received!"

Lacus: "Open it."

The Admiral of the fleet is displayed on the image of the hologram. An old man looking in his 50s but know as Admiral Iwao Sukochi, the man who has made hundred years of service in Adoria with his life extension injections.

Lacus: "Admiral Sukochi. What are you doing?"

Admiral Sukochi: "We are here to deal with the Mechanicum."

Lacus: "By making a civil war inside of the Imperium? While we are in war of expansion against all Xenos and Chaos?!"

Admiral Sukochi: "I am sorry but you have to understand that the Mechanicum is now moving with fleets toward our nation. Helies VII is making his way toward us. We won't falter toward them."

Lacus sighed.

Lacus: "I will go back to Adoria. I don't feel so safe outside of TAFS now…"

Admiral Sukochi: "Then, go. The President is waiting for you."

Lacus: "My father? It could be serious…"

Admiral Sukochi: "Go now. The forces of Helies VII could show up at any moment."

Lacus: "Okay…"

The Eternal Summer followed by the rest of its fleet goes toward the first planets of TAFS while Admiral Sukochi opened a big warp portal conducting his fleet inside of it.

Lacus: "Admiral Sukochi…"

A few days later…

Lacus' fleet arrived to Adoria. She could see that a big fleet of the IInd Legion of Mobile Warriors leaving the planet. The Eternal, the flagship of Kira Saito was in front.

Capcom: "Call from the flagship!"

Lacus: "Please open it!"

Kira Saito is dressed in his Power Armour, who has very smooth appearance of the Mark IV Maximus.

Kira Saito: "Hello, Lacus."

Lacus: "What is happening? What are you doing?"

Kira Saito: "I'll accompany the Admiral Sukochi. He will have my help."

Lacus: "Do you seriously do it? You will worsen this situation."

Kira Saito: "I cannot go against the will of our people. Also, it's a bit of my fault if we are here now."

Lacus: "What do you mean, father?"

Kira Saito: "By revealing the stealing of this Skinsuit. I unlocked the door of the mob and I cannot close it now. So, I'll go along with the will of the people that I represent."

Lacus: "I can't believe it…"

Kira Saito: "Lacus. I want you to do something."

Lacus: "Yes?"

Kira Saito: "Take care of the internal situation while I fight and take care of your mother."

Lacus: "Oh… Okay… I will… I will do it, father."

Kira Saito: "Hm… Later."

He closed the hologram and the Mobile Warrior fleet legion flew next to Lacus' fleet. Lacus was sad about this.

Meanwhile on Terra…

Salem was arguing with the Fabricator General of Mars, Kelbor-Hal. He is really big of 4 meters height, with many mechanical tentacles, a big backpack who looks like a shell filled with wires and motors. His faces show fives eyes with a mask, relied to a metallic skeleton, the only part of the body exiting from his red robes. All of this scene happening inside the palace of the High Lords.

Salem: "Your follower has broken the Adorian Treaty with Helies VII and they received retaliation, rightfully!"

Kelbor-Hal: "The Adorians destroyed the Machine-God temples inside of TAFS. This affair is a massive Heretek attack against us. The Adorians has to pay their crimes."

She slams the table in front of everyone.

Salem: "If you do it. You will pay consequences of your actions! BELIEVE THAT!"

Salem was absolutely furious against Kelbor-Hal and was about to explode in wrath.

Malcador: "Enough Salem. I order you to calm down. This is not a need to make a scene in front of everyone."

Salem looked at Malcador before slowly sitting back down. The Regent of Terra turned his implacable gaze to Kelbor-Hal.

Malcador: "I have to agree with Salem. If the retaliation of TAFS was exaggerated in all levels. One of your followers stole one of the most vital inventions of Adoria and was making an army for really shady reasons. I don't know yet what happened to him but if he has been destroyed. Know that Adoria has a reason to be worried."

Salem: "Also, you are assaulting one of the most vital local empires of the Imperium, if not the most vital at all. Directed by one of the Primarchs of the Emperor and so: one of my own sons. I know that you don't have frequented a woman, not even founded a family since it's all against the ideals of the Machine God. But still, don't get surprised and don't underestimate the wrath of a mother like me."

Malcador: "Indeed. Kelbor-Hal, you have to order your followers to stand down as fast as possible when it can possible. Also, Salem has a local Empire is inside of the Imperium and her armies of citizens are ready to release their rage against you. And there are billions of these for untold numbers of Knightmares. One word of her and Mars is burned from top to ground."

Kelbor-Hal glared against Malcador and Salem, also the others High Lords of Terra who glared back at him. He was irritated by as the other members of the Mechanicum, his expression is hidden behind his mask.

Kelbor-Hal: "Hm… I will do it."

Salem: "It has to resolve quickly because I will personally hold you accountable if all hell breaks loose."

Kelbor-Hal: "Even if I do. I don't see why the Magos will back down."

Salem: "Just do it for Humanity's sake!"

After the reunion…

Salem walked inside of her part of the Sanctum Imperialis. Now, the Sanctum is now a big round palace of dozens of floors, with an avenue so large and so long that it lost itself in horizon and fog, surrounded by the huge buildings of the bustling city of the Imperial Palace of Terra.

Salem could only think about this construction of the Imperial Palace. The Emperor has said to her that he has taken inspiration from a plan of a city named Germania, from a tyrant that he favoured to shut his name and put the world in flames in the end of the 1st Millenium.

Of course, she knows that we are all inspired by even shady and obscure things that existed. After all, Malcador has the same amount of blood on his hands like her or the Emperor. But still, it makes her a bit uneasy.

She arrived to her quarters.

Salem: "Let's teach some history for my two students."

She opened the door and falls into a shocking scene. She could see the two Eldars kissing. But then, Allarielle leave the kiss. Leaving an embarrassed Ilil. The two doesn't seem to acknowledge Salem. Ilil only seeing Allarielle and Allarielle only seeing Ilil.

Allarielle: "I can't believe I am doing it… Why?"

Ilil: "What do you mean? Why did you wanted to kiss me?"

Allarielle shed tears of frustration.

Allarielle: "Why… I am… feeling for you? Why… I am…?"

She was breaking down emotionally and fall on her knees.

Ilil: "I know… You miss them… right?"

Allarielle looks at him desperately.

Allarielle: "I want… to be… alone…"

Ilil hugged Allarielle, she let him do it.

Ilil: "I can't leave you alone… I am here now."

Allarielle finally breaks her shell of aggressiveness and began crying loudly in frustration and sadness. Salem seeing this scene was heartbreaking. She slowly closed the door and leave them alone.

Salem goes to the most private part of her apartments, her bedroom.

This bedroom was really big, with a view on the city. A small library in one of the walls, a desk with an Imperial computer. In the bottom, there is a four-poster bed decorated in Rococo-gothic style. Beside it the wardrobe without doors, revealing some kind of outfits of different styles. Her guest clothes for big events, her Phoenix Empire clothes but also her old outfit from Remnant. In the other side was a door conducting to her private bathroom.

She entered and locked the door behind; she looks at her room before sighing. She was tired of this day of hell.

She goes to the bathroom and began to take a bath in the scent of roses. It was a simple bathroom who are equipped with the ultramodern technology of Adoria.

Salem looked at the ceiling of this bathroom, with a blank mixed with annoyance. In these moments, she could feel the weight of loneliness that accompanied her ever since she has born. A good old companion that she loved but also hated across of millennias of existence.

A feeling too familial who makes herself feel what she is really: a lost woman who tries to see the sense of life. That was she is in her deepest, all under the layers of a tyrant and a loving mother.

In the moments of loneliness, she felt herself… like a nobody, floating in the void.

Then, Salem reminded herself something she has learned in her century-long training in the telekinesis. A lesson from one of the Gurus of Himalazia in her youth, when she was ordered by Malcador to travel in the whole world.

Flashback:

Somewhere in the middle of 29th millenium.

Salem was alone, inside of a dark room. In a really deep meditation but also, feeling the same heavy void loneliness. She doesn't move and the time was like frozen.

Then, the door opened. Waking Salem from her meditation. It was an old man who looks in his 80s but he stills look quite energetic.

Salem (humility tone): "Guru Xi Lin. What's brought you here?"

Guru Xi Lin: "Salem. I have felt something from you. I could feel something that nobody could see possible from a long time."

Salem: "What do you mean, venerable Guru?"

Guru Xi Lin: "Come with me."

Salem stands up and follows Guru Xi Lin out of the room. Then, they descended inside of the heart of the temple, where only masters of telekinesis monks could be seen. Then, they arrived to a room a little bit decorated with a small statue of a monk and a small Thai pendant around it.

Salem: "Who is this man?"

Guru Xi Lin: "This is Guru Shakyamuni. The Guru coming from the south of Himalazia. He was named after the Buddha himself since he followed the same path as him. By his meditation, he reached the Nirvana at his prime age. Here is his quote."

He takes the Thai pendant and opened it.

Guru Xi Lin (reading): "Let go your earthly tether. Enter the void. Empty and become wind. (finishes reading). When he entered the void, his feet only returned to the ground when his soul has left the world."

Salem: "You mean… What I think I mean?"

Guru Xi Lin: "It seems you have entered the void before coming back. You haven't reached the Nirvana."

Salem: "It's because my sadness keeps me on the world. Also, I have experienced the void since… I had nothing and my soul won't simply leave the world. My sadness, my annoyance, my loneliness, my need of flesh, my need of children… All of this, I cannot separate from them but these bring me to go into the void when my despair is at its highest."

Guru Xi Lin: "I see. Know this, there is no blame to not leave the world and don't leave to the Nirvana. As long as our spirits are in our bodies, we are in need of earthly needs. This is only in death that we separated ourselves from it entirely. Also, reaching the inner peace are often reached by suffering and pain. Siddhārtha Gautama, the Awakened, saw the suffering of the ones under the kings and nobles. First, he met a man whose life was finishing, learning the suffering of the passing on. Next, a sick man that the body suffers independently from time. Third, he met a cadaver who showed the outcome of death on the body. Finally, a hermit brings him the wisdom he needed to be awakened. By suffering, he saw the illumination on his path."

Salem: "Hm… That's true. I have committed sins and the suffering that I received from my punishment gives me illumination. But ever since, I am in despair, I feel the endless pain and the sadness to walk on the face of a world that it continues to change when I hadn't received no wrinkle, I didn't catch the pestilence and my body is not withering away. I have only received wisdom from a master but I cannot experience the suffering of the mortal world. I lamented only about myself and my acts. Feeling the pain of my guilt and the pain of the world. So, I go into the void. I go inside there to not feel it anymore but I know I have to return someday."

She finished with a sorrowful tone in her voice.

Guru Xi Lin: "I see. The only advice that I could give you is this: Be one with yourself. Understand the nature. Because nature is chaotic and constantly changing. And then, when you will understand it. You will reach the Nirvana because you understood."

Salem: "Thanks. Guru Xi Lin."

End of Flashback.

Salem stared in the ceiling of the bathroom; her look was blank. She was inside of this void that washes her skin and flesh. After long minutes of voidness inside of her mind, she slowly goes out from her state and as she goes out of the bathtub.

Salem: "I am feeling sick… I need to occupy myself."

Salem goes out from the bathroom and began dressing up in her pyjamas. As she finishes, she heard the door is knocked. She quickly takes her calm tone.

Salem: "Come in…"

A maid entered the room.

Maid: "Ezekiel Sedayne want to see you…"

Salem widened.

Salem: "Oh… Let him enter and leave us alone."

Maid: "Of course…"

The maid exited the room and then, Ezekiel Sedayne entered. The Perpetual has aged, gained the appearance of an old man in his 50s. Salem sited on the bed, Ezekiel Sedayne sited beside her.

Ezekiel Sedayne: "I wanted to see you. I have heard that you were mad against the Fabricator-General."

Salem: "I know… He is a zealous idiot who is jealous of better scientist than the Tech-Priests of his world."

Ezekiel Sedayne: "Don't listen to him. I am sure that the realm of your son will be the one who will detain the secrets of our technology."

Salem: "Hm… I greatly hope so… Because, I am scared…"

The scientist could see Salem shivering at this fear and the man only hugged Salem tightly, she let herself hugged by this caring and loving hug.

Then, the caress and the rubs of the fingers of Ezekiel only make Salem aroused, making her breathing heavily and loudly.

Finally, he kissed her on the lips, with the gentleness of a leaf.

Ezekiel Sedayne: "You want to forget?"

Salem turned her gaze to Ezekiel Sedayne.

Salem: "Why you are my lover?"

Ezekiel Sedayne: "Life is strange… Also, I still feel that I am betraying the Emperor for this and I am betraying your sons."

Salem: "You are not the only one… I feel I am betraying Ozma in addition of the Emperor and my descendance… The only thing that keeps me with you is his words: 'Live happy in this world'."

Ezekiel Sedayne: "Yes, he was good knight."

Salem sighed and slowly removed her pyjamas, revealing a rather inviting and voluptuous body, with round curves.

Salem: "I want to push the vice further than usual. Just be patient."

She uses her magic and increased her curves and other parts of her body twice their size, along with her hair who becomes like a bush full of hairs falling to the floor. The milk was exiting her breasts by dripping on the floor. Ezekiel removed his clothes.

Ezekiel: "Let's forget our problems. Just for this night."

Salem only lies down on the bed and looked with impatience mixed with indifference while Ezekiel placed himself on Salem before becoming one with her. She could feel the pleasure as he feels it too, this pleasure who makes her body hot and alienating her mind.

But deep inside of her heart, the uneasiness was still there. The fear mixed with shame. Fearing that the Emperor or her sons discovers her private relationship with Ezekiel. While she feels ashamed to lowering herself to this level. Gone the mother of the Demigods, gone the Mistress of the Inquisition, gone the Overlady and tyrant of thousands of worlds, gone the teacher of two promising Eldars. Reduced to be only a lover or even a whore in her own eyes, a bitch who wanted to frolicking to forget her issues.

But as the time passed, the intensity of the pleasure completely takes over her mind who simply shuts off and focuses on the instant. It was time to enjoy, not to worry. To feel, not to think.

A few days later… In the south of the TAFS space.

The gigantic fleet of the Admiral Sukochi was exiting the warp portal. The admiral knows that in front of him, soon, the Mechanicum Fleet of the Forge-World of Helies VII was coming toward him. A fleet rumoured to be partly upgraded by Adorian technology.

Capcom of the flagship: "Admiral! We detect hundreds of ships coming from Helies VII! Right in front of us!"

Admiral Sukochi: "Send scouts around us. To prevent any cowardly attacks! To all the fleet, prepare the Mobile Suits!"

He waited and he could the red dots in the sky slowly approaching the Adorian Fleet. Displaying the decorations of the Machine God.

Admiral Sukochi: "Make a scan of the Mobile Suits inside their ships."

The scanner displayed on the holo-screen images of series numbers of thousands of GMS-I, II and III.

Admiral Sukochi: "These Mechanicum Servants are idiots to not see these codes of detections… Prepare the assault!"

The ships aligned themselves around the Mechanicum, alerts of the fleet blared in the halls of thousands of the ships of the Adorian fleet.

Then, the detection shows that the Mechanicum Mobile Suits, exited their vessels in mass. Painted in red and black armour, their head displaying the skull of the Machine God.

Admiral Sukochi: "Let's make them suffer."

At this mention, the Mobile Suits exited their vessels and goes against the Mechanicum Mobile Suits.

A gigantic battle of lasers began between the two armies of Mobile Suits. Dozens of the two sides exploded by the terrifying power of the two armies. Illuminating the sky with explosions stars.

But in the next minutes, the GMS-V rapidly dominate the army of the Mechanicum Mobile Suits, more powerful, more resistant and faster. Then, in the next minute, all of the Mechanicum Mobiles Suits or what's left of them are floating in the void.

And so, the swarm of GMS-V launched themselves against the Mechanicum vessels, supported by the fires of the Adorian fleet.

The desolation was complete in the Mechanicum's side, completely destroying everything. Missiles and lasers overcoming their energetic shields and piercing their armour. Each dozens of seconds, a Mechanicum vessels exploded.

It was a total victory for the Adorian Fleet who has lost only a dew dozen of the Mobile Suits and some of the vessels bruised. Making the universe see the deep technological gap between the Mechanicum.

Capcom: "We have destroyed them with ease…"

Admiral Sukochi: "Let's go to Helies VII!"

In the south of the fleet of Helies VII, the Mobile Warrior has doubled the Admiral fleet of Sukochi.

The Mobile Warriors Legion fleet was making its way toward the Forge-World of Helies VI. The planet was surrounded Mechanicum fleets, some of them are come from

The Primarch was sited on his seat, surrounded by his three generals of the different divisions of the Legion.

Kira Saito: "So we have to take over the planet."

Capcom: "We report great activities around the planet!"

Kira Saito: "What do we have?"

Capcom: "100, 200, 400, 700, 1000, 1700! We have approximately 1700 vessels around the planet!"

Kira Saito: "We are possibly facing multiple fleets coming from multiple Forge-Worlds."

Hajime Araka: "It would be difficult. Our Vanguard division is very small, we can only count in the GMS-V of expeditionary fleet but we are still outnumbered…"

Capcom: "Wait! We detect warps openings in the other side of the planet! Thousand of vessels coming from TAFS!"

Iwao Jukairo: "It seems that the Admiral Sukochi arrived. Luck is truly on our side."

Capcom: "Their cannons are ready to attack! They won't waste in talking!"

Kira Saito: "Oh… It's that so?"

Capcom: "Yes!"

Kira Saito: "Let's take the advantage of surprise!"

The Vanguard Mobile Suits exited their ships, followed behind by a swarm of GMS-V. The swarm of Mobile Suits launched a huge barrage attack on the vessels of the Mechanicum of Helies VII. They are encountered a great defence but severely weakened by the attack of the Admiral Sukochi. Hundreds of Mechanicum vessels were destroyed before they responded with a counter-attack who destroys a lot of Mobile Suits.

Beside the severe losses of the GMS-V, the Mechanicum fleet is destroyed in a matter of minutes, leaving now the Forge-World in the mercy of the Adorian fleet.

Kira Saito contacted Admiral Sukochi. His hologram displayed him.

Admiral Sukochi: "We have destroyed them all. I ask you only one thing my president: Let me do the Exterminatus on the planet."

Kira Saito: "No. You won't do it."

Admiral Sukochi: "What?"

Kira Saito: "We have to settle the score and try to talk with Viracius! I think we have proved enough of our power."

Admiral Sukochi: "They are stolen our technology. We cannot tolerate this anymore!"

Kira Saito: "We have to stop! We cannot escalate the war who is likely to devastate the whole Imperium!"

Capcom: "Wait! Detection from the right! Warp portals opening!"

Kira Saito: "What they are?"

Capcom: "Mechanicum vessels but only five!"

Kira Saito: "Hm… what will they do?"

Admiral Sukochi (to his crew): "Prepare the cannons."

Kira only glared to the Admiral before a call is received from the Mechanicum. A Magos is seen inside of the hologram.

Kira Saito: "Yes?"

Magos: "In the name of the Machine God. Cease the fights. Cease this unnecessary conflict."

Kira Saito: "What do you mean?"

Magos: "The Fabricator-General Kelbor-Hal has ordered the immediate end of the hostilities. The Machine God in unhappy with this waste of inventions and materials in a war like it."

Admiral Sokuchi: "I am sure that it's because of the pressure of the High Lords..."

Magos: "Silence! Now, go back to your nation. We won't pursue you anymore, we won't attack you anymore."

Admiral Sokuchi: "…"

Kira Saito: "Let's go, Admiral."

Admiral: "Okay…"

And so, the two fleets go out of the planet.

Weeks later, the conflict was quickly calmed down but Adoria finished to ban the last Mechanicum priests. But still, the resentment was now great.
