Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: This story is going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 47: The Mission Begins And Permanent Farewells IX
"Sure please, like anyone of us, every district, in cadets would ever listen to these lunatics." a teenage girl no older then 18 said and he nodded. "Hey baby, let me guess, Jenny Hailey?" he asked and she nodded. "Yes Commander." she said and he smiled. "You guys, like Wes and his team, can call me by name honey, I'm your big brother mentor." he said and she and her quartet smiled. "And Jared, don't get smart with me now." he said and he nodded smiling.
"Your academy age, your younger brothers and sisters are pre academy, but the training, at first looks easy, and before we start upping the training here, making it harder. Before it leaves the holodeck, and enters the base, as a practice turned real, in incursions. Kyle's sum number camp counterparts, as we have no idea, how many he had." he said and she nodded gently to that opinion. "Heads up, fight or flight, we're training for real." Cadet Brandon Elliot said to that.
"Well that's a scary aspect, that, or we just have a case of pod people, but if the general or the Admiral was compromised, then we can't trust anyone on the ship. Though hopefully, we can get by this without our teams dropping like flies here, but we turn it too real. And our inner cub is on the fight or flight, Uncle Dan." Wes said and she and the quartet nodded in agreement. "So your worshipers think what I decided is suddenly too strict, they can blame you."
"Fo that, you turned me into this, you can't undo what you did, you created a monster and now that monster turned into you of the lightside version. I'm the Chosen One. Meant to destroy the Sith and bring balance back to this galaxy. Well said Dark Jedi are you numbskulls and it's my job to either arrest or neutralize you now." Daniel said and they swallowed hard, at the stern tone, and Landry nodded in agreement to that opinion.
"Yeah and fresh start, just wait till you get the knowledge the baby gives you, and the episode truly is canon, as that's another possibility, as we see it through your eyes. They think you're a power hungry maniac now, after gaining that knowledge, and creating the weapon." Addison said sternly and Jack swallowed hard at that remark, knowing he was right about that. "Alright freeze we can take break for a bit and then restart, but that's beyond good."
"So we have an idea of how severely this affected you, they murdered the you of the movie, and the first 24 months, before Hathor came into the picture. And now they're convinced they're sane and you're crazy, and you corrupted us, when all we see. Now, is you having a completely human response to their betrayal and persecution." Daniels said and they nodded in agreement then. "Yep." they all said together sternly at that opinion.
"You know I found that the deadpan of the end of the phone call was funny?" he said and Daniels nodded with a bemused smile. "Yes and if you and Sarah are the same way, you guys are Robby and me of your generation." he said and Spacey started laughing at that. "Oh god yeah I remember that scene, but if I thought you guys were bad, Doctor, I'm seeing someone, 8 years older then me, going at it, till the enemy ends up in middle here."
"And she actually stomped on him, when during that spell right now." Cadet Christine Satterfield said as she started laughing and the couple nodded. "Point taken and guys, just stay out of it, before the remark of 'walk all over you' turns literate. After Goldar and said putty ended up in the middle between them." Mascelli said and they nodded smiling. "Never get involved, in a lover's quarrel, or what happened in teenage format, happens for real."
"In adult form, this is between them and that's where it stays, and instead of divorced was separation, and the pre-nup had effectively ended in the middle. And of an emergency here right now, as she recovered from this, and Casey with her." Jaffe said with a laugh and the 2 new additions to the updated SG-1 nodded with a chuckle. As Teal'C had an amused smile on his face. "That happens all the time between us." Sarah said with a smile.
"Yeah we fight then we make up, that's happened like 10 times over the entire 12 years, been separated 4 years, but we never let go, and now we stay together always. And her parents knew this, though I was busy on the job, nothing changes, but I just can't win an argument. No matter how hard we debate this, she's always right." Daniel said and they nodded as Landry hid a chuckle, knowing the couple were crazy about each other, and never letting go then here.
"Indeed and are you always like this with each other, if you're taking on the AMRIID version to the outpost?" Vala asked and they nodded. "We are and our team knows when to stay out of our love life, after that episode on the kids show. He drives me crazy, but I love him anyway, I could never let him go, and Sarah sees that. About Danny now, that to her, he belongs to her, not sharing here, well I see that about Sam."
"He's mine." Keough said and she nodded. "And there it is, but he was just effectively chosen by the Ancients, as the GOAT now." Landry said and explained it. "Greatest Of All Time, meaning he's the most famous archeologist on the planet. Coming back from his career down in the dumps, to becoming to most revered archeologist. On the entire planet, and the first to get his wings, as an ancient prodigy, understanding this."
"But the non ascended ancients are Jedi, the ones that ascended, said are the energy field that links us together, and to quote Sam over Jake's adult self, you must choose the right path, as the knight guarding the holy grail said. Choose, but choose wisely now, and he's working at learning everything he can. Till the Ancients and Q grant him the powers of the Ancients, turning him into a humanoid one now and leading Earth."

"On this tv show…., what happened here exactly?!', before seeing it, the new cast of characters now, in order of General Landry, Patrick Stewart. And Diane Muldaur, as the guest starring appearance. for the first half of the pilot episode. Are Heather and George, George Kennedy, the guard that shot out the ceiling in the mine. And another looking like Michael Keaton now, he's playing said plant guard, while Clay Landey."
"Is one of George's orderlies, as this plays back the episode from my point of view now." Daniel said and they nodded. "As the questions now come, as I had the tendency to bring my work home with me. And Dad knows that entirely too well here, as a result." he said and Cooper chuckled as Davis smiled. "And baby, you got to stop doing that, after we found the research journals." Hammond said in response and he nodded.
As he started smiling then. "So Barrett as a 8 year old trapped in an 11 year old body, sandy brown hair, blue eyes, that's you, son?" Davis asked and he nodded gently. "We had multiple photos taken here, but your reaction over my bringing Elizabeth in. One of SG-8 dropped a 25lb barbell, on his team mate, directly on the ankle. And broke it, and this had him laid up for two months and you took out that irritation on me."
"Before you relaxed and our discussion and over certain members of the system lords being parasites came out." he said and he nodded with a laugh. "You boneheads, never do that, put those down, before you hurt someone." Shepard said with a laugh. "This is why we're dealing with constant injuries, they're never exercising common sense. And with the gladiator equipment, in the gym." Warner said and he and Landry nodded gently in understanding.
"Is George always like this?" Gardener asked and he nodded. "Yeah dad never tolerated the hotshots like the quartet and SG-8 to be acting before they think. So cross him, you're facing hearing said sentence." he said and they all nodded. "Well that explains my irritation, as he just put his own team mate in the hospital here. And for not exercising common sense with the sports equipment in the gym." he said and Elizabeth Hoffman nodded.
"I'm playing a 72 year old here right now, with another 5 years left on my time line, but said drugs, you gave me another 20 years now." she added and Shanks smiled gently at the news. "A good thing too here right now, but I never been happier to be back under your command again, my place is at your side, you're my boss." he said and she smiled in maternal. "I get why, she's a borderline grandmother." Jordan said gently to that.
"Yeah I miss mom and dad, but Hammond healed that slightly, and I started calling him dad, before the end of the first year." he said and they nodded in understanding. "So Kind is playing Meyers, Rae as Barbara, John as Mitch and Lee as Jenny, yeah okay, got it. So the only new additions are Michael playing you and Elizabeth as Catherine." Alexander said and he nodded. "Quite the all star cast, huh?" he asked and they chuckled and nodded smiling gently then.
"Get the rest of the team together, as our cast selves, we're back." Meyers said and she nodded then. "Good idea, so the science and technician team cast of the movie is at the SGA, that's the quartet. Michael replaces James as Daniel, and I replace Viveca as Catherine." she said and Shore crossed her arms then. "Hence why we just showed up right now, so you know what we look like now, and get the quartet back involved."
"And Jay replaced John as Charlie and Brent replaced French as Lou now, while Vai replaced Milli as Sha're." she said and Cooper nodded then. "Anyway here, as a result of this, you knew the entire truth already, first my letter and then George's. So I was keeping you up to date and after my bed time out ended, the questions in order here. Of finding that champagne bottle, start coming out now, so my staring at a bottle
of the invulnerability serum, and just how did I get that, as I unfurl the letter that came with it. As we hear Heather's voice, in a gentle voice over, as that opens the episode storyline here. In a flashback to the previous year of SG-1, as they see me, pre mission there, I got to talk to him, and get the arrangements set up, so first trade deal was, to give this threat. Turned warning, to them, and in exchange here.

In exchange for farming supplies, so we did 221.5 septillion in farming supplies, they gave us 773.5 in drugs and medical research of the technology.
"Before telling me they're all that same number, in the return and enough to buy us out of the red line here." he said and Jack went white in fear, never thinking they could get that much in drugs now. And all it cost was the same on the trade market, like they normally did, in trading costs, and as he went further then gently. "And the realization slams into place now, these bottles came from 636, which gained the name of La Rochelle."

"If things had been different, he's my baby boy. So being in AMRIID, he knew this all too well how dangerous my job gets, then at 29, which is how old Salt was. When I met him, the boys never changed a bit, the best of friends here, it's his job. To save lives, not destroy them, what you call action is nothing short of cold blooded murder here." Daniels said sternly to them and Gardener nodded sternly in agreement to that opinion.
And they all went white at that in fear. "That's my thoughts exactly here, right now, you just read it out Sam, but the medical department doesn't have a problem with Danny. But the command sure as hell does, and reason is, it takes a severe amount of will power. Just to resist indoctrination techniques to this level and he had for the last two years." Peterson said and he nodded as Schuler crossed his arms sternly at the opinion then.
And she started shaking violently in fear at that remark. "So the SGA is the medical/sciences department, and is run by AMRIID, correct?" Cooper asked and Sanderson nodded. "Medical/psychiatrical." he said and they nodded and wrote it down, as he answered him then gently as he looked between them then. "Well that's going to shock the hell out of everyone, General, Daniel, as we're seeing an entirely different side."
"Of George, after the way he acted with the duo, as we see the truth, it's not at all. What we thought here now, as we get a full behind the scenes look at this what went on, when the duo were locked up in the mines now, the damage done was serious, and he was acting like any normal father with you. Forcing you to rest, so said days are really two weeks recovery, as we see a letter come through the gate, Don reading it."
"And then hear George's entire explanation to this, and now his remark to Amanda makes sense. 'What are you saying Captain?', he knows she's lying, to hold you hostage." Cooper said and Davis nodded. "Gerard is actually what Porthos looks like here, just without the beard now, and Leo to Aramis." he said and they nodded. "And let guess here, Athos would be John once again?" he asked and Daniel nodded gently then.
"Bad side effect, when said older man is a homosexual, and saw you half dressed here and the reason is because at 18 years younger. This is where, the issue of pedophilia comes into it, as he and Makepeace get their just desserts, want to do it to a younger man, let's see how they like it when the next age group up is our parents." he said and they nodded. And Gardener nodded in agreement, as Jack swallowed hard in fear at that. "Yes, but you use your skills on your own team mates, there's always going to be a comeuppance. Say here them using their own on you, and knowing the truth you never pay attention. And expect the, as you call us, eggheads to alert you you're about to make a fatal mistake here. So sorry, you did this to yourselves, you fix yourselves now." Jordan said sternly and he swallowed hard at that.
"Well I can imagine what happened behind closed doors to O'neill there, but that's the 15 and older stories, this is preteen. Preteen and up to 13 years old, so Hocus Pocus and leave it at that right now." Daniels said and Mckay nodded in agreement. "Indeed, only this was his body been turned into a homo, and the primer was set to Porthos. There's no changing back and they're refusing the cure." Vala said explaining it to them gently.
And the brass nodded sternly to the news then. "So that's the only cure, and you been experimenting with the sarcophagus, all the while changing yourself back. With the primer set to this medic and Shyla, turning you into bi-sexual, and till you had it just right. Before submitting your test results, and once the worst was over, you sent the tests to Dr. Peterson and his unit. And they just came back from the lab, we need said drugs now." Raynor said and he nodded.
"Yeah, but Aramis is Leo at 34 years old, he's exercising Philippe in his personality here, and, instead of doing the smart thing. That in our own way we can kill you 150 times, before you hit the ground, we had the training with the damn thing. "The SGA is run by the medical/psychiatric department, young lady." he said warningly and she started shaking violently in fear then, getting the threat loud and clear. "You call it a weakness, in being an idealist, well that's a strength here, not a weakness, you're the weak ones. And to quote you, go on a mission, get into trouble, get out of it and come home here."
"But you ever think there are lasting psychological side effects?" Caine asked and she swallowed hard then. "But you see him as a total lunatic, we don't see that, you just got what you deserved here right now, for this cold blooded betrayal now. We never seen you as more heartless now then we did after his parents accident in 1973. He was only helping a kid, said that needed help with coming out of his shell as a result."

That is the Gate room now, Deck 37 the briefing room now, so 10 more off from you. Decks 26 to 27 is the Academy, 28 the brig, deck 29 is the entrance into the base. Deck 30 is the bridge, made to look like the real bridge on the show, as it starts going underwater."
"And you're scanning the horizon for trouble now here, Deck 31 is the infirmary, and the rehabilitation center, as once you're passed the worst of your emergency healing, you get moved to a private room now. Decks 32 to 34 are storage, Decks 35 to 36 are the department labs and offices now in truth now. Deck 37 is the briefing room, 38 gate and level 39 is the gym and rec areas, Deck 40 is the commissary, Decks 41."
"And 42 are training for entering into the habitat and 43 is entrance into it." Hoffman said sternly to her. "Yes, uh guys, I miscounted my calculations, you said that your habitat on your movie was 1,022ft at the depths of the ocean, right?" Q asked and the cast nodded. "Well I miscounted here, your ship is 900ft into the depths, and 1,750ft, stretched west and of the shelf the nearest shelf, they're checking, and 1,250 miles."
"Across the continent itself, so big enough to hold 750,000 people, so 25 decks on the military housing looking as your houses currently And 25 more on your base, but the base is 15 miles around, not as cramped here plenty of room now, and the last 10 now, said are the habitat itself. So at deck 34, which is at 510ft, it, the base portion of the ship, it starts going underwater now." he said and they nodded in relief to the news."
"So 4 days underwater, fair enough, we normally never dove deeper then 500ft so that, when not in the habita. Then we're in the base itself, but if this is anything, it's the astroid mining facility. That the Jetsons were sent too only the underwater it's not so dark, you can't see anything come at you. And with it anchored to the surface, it's not claustrophobic, it's like being in an aquarium, which is the difference here."
"In between the area the sphere crashed in and being down here, and there is so much aquatic life, it's beyond peaceful here." Henderson said to that gently then and Q nodded gently to that opinion, and she swallowed hard at that remark then gently. "Let me guess here though, but decks 26 and 27 are the academy, deck 28 is the brig. And decks 29 through 50 are the base itself, said which is 22 decks straight down."
"To deck 50, and the last 10 are their's?" Landry said and he nodded. "Yes, but I have set forcefields up on the windows here now, so you can see out around the water. So unlike the being in here, it's less compact, more open with you seeing outside now, a little dark at that depth now. But that's to be expected with you that deep underwater, with him in recovery from the amount of emotional trauma the encounter now."
"And with Hathor, caused, I managed to reconfigure the systems, so there are no gate alarms, the only indication now. That you get from incoming gate travel, is your tricorders all go off at once, these tricorders. Said are like the ones that the command, security and technicians teams carry, indicating you have incoming. As you are exploration, so there is less psychological impact then going to system lord planets."
"But still, be on your guard, as you never know when it could go and from everything going fine, to turning into international version of an intergalactic incident." he said and Landry nodded smiling in relief then. "That's just great, the next non canon, results in a Starship Troopers metaphor here, we already have the dear John letter. Now we get the insects the size of a boat to gorilla next." Meyers said bemused and she nodded to that.
"Then the next non canon novel is focused on me, and the psychological side effects. After you realized here my first combat mission was too much, as you said, you should have realized, that one of us science now. Was going to snap, should have sent us straight to Carson immediately he and Frasier, they had been worried here, but no. And now Armin's counterpart reporter, who just happened to be Kinsey's son."
