Also was Caleb praising Priya as a contestant supposed to be foreshadowing for the Prileb plot from S2 ? Tbh I don't think their relationship is bad in theory but the canon executed it badly.
Me- True. Bowie's gonna have all the support he needs.
I will neither confirm or deny the praleb theory to avoid spoilers for my s2 rewrite. But I will say you have a good eye for noticing that.
Guest- Not a fan of Axel after that whole thing with Zee, kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. Glad that it wasn't you intention to make her seem ableistic... but I legit hope that she does not win this. Maybe it is fucked up but that would suck. Just for me personally, I know some wouldn't mind it but still.
Me- Eh it's fine. Every character is gonna have their fans and haters.
OmniBIBUltraInstinctGodzilla- Julia is wicked and rotten to the core.
Yeah, Emma's elimination was shocking for sure. A sad one at that.
Axel must feel pretty stupid and idiotic for trusting Julia's words now. She may have jeopardized her relationship with Emma as a consequence, but I suppose future chapters will confirm whether or not the break up is for good or temporary.
The same goes for Bowie, who jeopardized his friendship with Emma, though given his desire to win the game, this was gonna happen sooner or later.

Axel sat on a log by herself. Usually she'd be conversing with Emma while they feasted on dead squirrels together. But now she was all alone. Something she was prepared to do but now seemed reluctant to do so.
She took a bite out of her squirrel dish.
"Needs more salt." Axel said
Axel saw Bowie approaching and glared at him.
"What do you want?" Axel said
"Your forgiveness. I acted like an idiot during yesterday's challenge. I hope we can still be friends and voting allies." Bowie said
Axel sighed.
"I don't know if I can trust you. But Priya and Julia are even worse in that regard." Axel said
Axel stuck out her hand.
"Put it there." Axel said
Bowie shook hands with Axel, she pulled him forward.
"If you pull something shady, I WILL destroy your crop top. Understood?" Axel said
Bowie clutched his pearls.
"Yes ma'am." Bowie said

"Yes Julia managed to pull a fast one on me."
"But I'm not too mad at what happened. Axel and Emma needed to be split up sooner or later."
"I just wish it was Emma who stayed.."

Julia sat on her bed and scrolled through her phone. She was happy to see all of the likes and follows she was getting.

"I was a bit worried that my true nature being revealed might hurt my online presence."
"But it's the exact opposite! I've gained a bunch of new followers since becoming a complete bitch!"
"People are calling me a girlboss, a baddie, the best villian since Heather."
"If the audience wants a villain, I'll give them a villain."

Julia looked over at Bowie's belongings. She got the bright idea to grab them and take them outside. Once she did, she took out a match and set it on fire. Once her work was complete she took a photo and uploaded it to Instagram.
"#meangirl, #villainqueen and send!" Julia said
Bowie got back from his walk and screamed.
"JULIA?! WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO?!" Bowie said
"Just being an iconic girlboss." Julia said
Bowie tried stomping on the fire to put it out. Julia did her iconic victory dance.

"To think, all of this could've been avoided if I just booted Julia instead of Caleb on Day 1."

Julia, Priya, Axel and Bowie sat on the bleachers. Chris walked over to explain the challenge.
"Throughout the years. Chef Hatchet has blessed our screens with a variety of sparkly dresses. So I thought? Why not turn it into a challenge!" Chris said
The curtains opened and revealed Chef wearing a long pink dress with high heels. Bowie clapped for Chef.
"On my signal you must race towards the two sets of clothes we provided. The girls must dress up like a guy. And our only dude left must dress up like a chick. We'll be judging your dress and your performance. You have to make us feel like you're the opposite gender. Me and Chef will judge of course. And whoever gets the most points will get an advantage for part 2!" Chris said
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"This sucks."
"How am I gonna convince those judges that I'm a guy?"
END CONFESSIONAL
"On your marks, get set, GO!" Chris said
Priya, Bowie, Axel and Julia rushed towards the stage. Priya picked out a button up blue shirt, some olive green jeans, and hair gel. She jumped off the stage and ran towards the communal washrooms to get dressed. Bowie was digging through all the dresses.
"Hmm. I need something that will go with my eyes." Bowie said
Bowie was able to pick out the perfect dress. He also grabbed some high heels, makeup and a wig. Axel was a bit out of her element as she never really played dress up. She grabbed a fake beard and called it a day.
Julia rummaged through the clothes and struggled to find something.
"Guys are bad at fashion right? So I just have to pick something I normally wouldn't wear." Julia said
Julia picked the most hideous set of clothes she could find and ran off.
~Communal Washroom~
Priya put on her new outfit and greased up her hair. She went over to the mirror and checked herself out.
"I'm your host, Chris Mclean! Here on Total Drama Island!" Priya said

"I know in the past, Chris has given out immunity to those who play towards his ego."
"I think dressing up like him will give me the win! Plus I do a really good Chris impression."
"Today campers, your challenge is to find a reason to keep going."

~Communal Washroom~
Axel put on her fake beard. She scratched it as she looked in the mirror.
"Sup." Axel said
Axel was content with her performance and left the washrooms. Bowie and Julia entered at the same time.
"Hey! It was my turn next!" Bowie said
"Well now it's my turn!" Julia said
Julia shoved Bowie and locked the door behind her. Bowie got up and knocked on the door.
"JUUULLLIAA!" Bowie said
Julia snickered as she began to change. She pulled out a greasy white t-shirt that had faces of anime girls plastered all over it. She put on some oversized sweatpants and bgi glasses. She finished the look with socks and sandals.
Julia walked up to the mirror.
"Um ackshually. Naruto is better than Dragon Ball Z." Julia said
Julia smiled.
"Perfect.." Julia said
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"My little cousin is a huge anime geek. I'm basing this performance off of him."
"Don't take anything I say seriously though. I only watch sophisticated shows like Riverdale."

Finally it was Bowie's turn. He put on his dress and heels. He went over to the mirror to start working on his makeup.
"What should my drag name be? Cinnamon? Twinkle Toes? Too many good options to choose from." Bowie said
Bowie finished applying his lipstick and left the washrooms. He saw Axel outside doing push ups.
"You're not gonna work on a performance?" Bowie said
"Don't need to. I'm more manly than most of the guys I meet." Axel said
Axel finished her set and got up.
"It's gonna take more than a beard to act like a man. What kinds of sports do you like? Which alpha male podcast do you listen to?" Bowie said
"Uhhh.. what." Axel said
"I suggest doing some more research on what guys like. We can't let Julia win immunity again." Bowie said
Axel scoffed and went off to the cabin.
~Merge Cabin~
Axel sat on her bed and tried to think.
"Hmmm. My four brothers usually like to hit each other. Maybe I could try that." Axel said
Julia opened the door. Axel cracked her knuckles.
"What are you looking at?" Julia said
Several screams, punches and kicks could be heard.
~Ampitheater~
"Welcome back to RuChef's Drag Race! Our first performer today will be.." Chris said
Chris read off a tiny cue card.
"Chris Mclean?" Chris said
The curtains opened and showed Priya dressed up exactly like Chris.
"Hey campers! I'm coming at you with a brand new season of Total. Drama. Island!" Priya said
Chef started laughing.
"I do not sound like that!" Chris said
"She got you good Mclean! Hahaha!" Chef said
"The final marshmallow goes to..." Priya said

"Okay! Okay! Enough! You get a total of four points for that pathetic performance." Chris said
"Four?!" Priya said
"Chris is tripping. I'll give you eight points." Chef said
The score board above the theater showed 12 points.
"Will anyone be able to beat that?" Chris said
"Find out when we return on Total Drama Reboot!" Priya said
"Okay. Mimic me again and I will personally boot you from the show. Got it?" Chris said
"Sorry.." Priya said

~Ampitheater~
"And we're back! Our next performer is Alex! Oh she rearranged the letters in her name. That's clever." Chris said
Axel walked out onto stage holding Julia into a headlock.
"Sup.. bro? I'm gonna show off how manly I am by beating up my little brother." Axel said
"I didn't agree to this!" Julia said
"Quiet you!" Axel said
Axel smacked Julia in the face. Chris and Chef chuckled.
Julia tried wiggle her way out so Axel dropped her.
"It's wedgie time!" Axel said
Axel grabbed Julia by the sweatpants and gave her a wedgie. The finishing touch is putting the underwear over her head. Chef and Chris were laughing out loud.
Julia stumbled for a bit, trying to get the underwear off of her face. Axel ran towards her and tackled her sending her flying off of the stage.
Chef and Chris stood up and clapped. Axel took a bow.
"Now that! That was art! Ten points!" Chris said
"I would've liked to see a bit more effort with the outfit though. I'll go with eight points." Chef said
Axel glared at Chef so he glared at her back.
"I invented the glare Missie so don't even try it!" Chef said
"Let's all settle down, still have two more acts to go. And up next is Julian the Weeb!" Chris said
Julia pulled the underwear off and put it back in place. She climbed back on stage.
"Hello I'm Julian. Today I wanted to talk about my favorite animes." Julia said
Julia proceeded to go into a long lecture about which shonen anime is the best. Chris and Chef sat there with blank looks on their faces.
"Can we bring Alex back?" Chef said
"I'm considering allowing it.." Chris said
"Sorry if I smell by the way. I'm a boy so I never shower or use deodorant." Julia said
Julia let out a tiny fart. Chris and Chef looked disgusted.
"Alex!" Chris said
Axel got on stage and chased Julia around.
"Much better.." Chris said
Axel gave Julia another wedgie and left the stage.
"Hmm. I'm thinking a solid six. Chef?" Chris said
"Five. Outfit good, performance bad." Chef said
"Seriously?! I dressed up like a nerd for no reason?!" Julia said
"Correct! And with eleven points overall you are currently in last place. Let's see if Bowie Minaj can beat Axel's high score." Chris said
"Hit it!" Bowie said
An intern turned on a boombox and it started playing some Cardi B music. Bowie opened the curtains himself and revealed his stunning outfit.
"I'm feeling like a fem queen!" Bowie said
Bowie strutted across the stage. Waving to the crowd as he occasionally struck a pose. He made his way to the front and dropped a handkerchief. He decided to pick it up by doing a perfect split. Chris and Chef gasped.
Bowie walked back and gave a wink to the judges.
"In all my years of cross dressing.." Chef said

"I've never seen someone so fabulous before! Eleven points!" Chef said
"What? It's on a scale of 1-10!" Julia said
"I don't care! Eleven points!" Chef said
"Ah what the heck, I'll give him eleven points too. Bowie wins part one of the challenge!" Chris said
Bowie pumped his fist in the air.
"Yes!" Bowie said
"Follow me as I explain part two of today's challenge." Chris said
~Mess Hall~
The final 4 had changed out of their drag clothes and sat down at a table.
"We'll be doing another drag race. But this time it's the one with cars. On my signal, you'll race outside to grab a go kart. Then you race around the island. To make things exciting, I've placed various boobytraps around. The first person to cross the finish line wins immunity. And as for Bowie? For winning part one, we're giving you a go kart equipped with a turbo booster. It allows you to go really fast for a limited amount of time. You can only use it once so choose wisely." Chris said
Bowie tapped his chin as he thought about his advantage.
"With all that out of the way.. Your challenge stars now!" Chris said
Chris blew his airhorn. Priya, Julia, Axel and Bowie raced out of the Mess Hall. Several interns were there to hand each of them a helmet.
"Ew. I don't wear black. Can't I get a purple helmet instead?" Julia said
The intern slammed the helmet onto Julia's head.
"Ow! Hey!" Julia said
Bowie hopped into his go-kart.
"Eat my dust!" Bowie said
Bowie took off with an early lead. Priya put on her helmet and jumped into her go-kart, following after her him. Axel was the next to leave as Julia jumped into her kart.

"With Bowie's advantage, there's a good chance he might win immunity."
"I have to prevent that from happening."

~The Forest~
Bowie raced around the forest, he saw several traffic cones set up as they formed a path, so he assumed that was the way to go.
As he went uphill he began to realize something.
"Hmm this seems oddly familiar." Bowie said
Bowie made it to the top and saw it was the cliff. He tried to slam the brakes but it was too late. He fell off of the cliff while in his go kart.
"AGGHHHH!" Bowie said
Bowie fell into the water and continued driving. To his surprise, the go kart was still working.
The camera panned over to Chris and Chef watching the challenge through Chris' cell phone.
"And you said making the go karts waterproof would be a bad idea." Chris said
"Yeah because we don't have any budget left." Chef said
"It's the end of the season my friend. Go big or go home." Chris said
The camera panned back to Axel and Priya driving together. Axel swerved to the left and slammed her go kart into Priya's.
"Hey!" Priya said
Priya swirled around and bumped into a tree. Axel smiled as she continued driving.
As she made her way up the cliff, she realized what was happening. She held her breath as her kart flew off the cliff and into the water.
Priya got out of her kart to look at the damage. Smoke was fuming from the engine and the entire frontside was disfigured. Julia passed by Priya.
"Hey! Can you give me a lift? I don't think my kart is able to drive anymore!" Priya said
Julia ignored Priya and continued driving.

"Wow. She does realize she needs my vote right?"

~The Lake~
As Bowie drove through the lake he saw a pack of electric eels. With no other way to avoid them, he decided to drive through. The eels latched onto Bowie and shocked him, which caused him to scream.
Axel was able to overtake Bowie's lead while he was screaming, she drove up to the surface and started driving around the beach. Several explosions went off as Axel narrowly dodged them.
"What the?!" Axel said
The camera panned back over to Chris and Chef.
"You put landmines on the beach?!" Chef said
"Where else was I supposed to put them?" Chris said
The camera panned back over to Axel. She drove over a landmine and it exploded. Axel and her go kart was sent flying into the air.
"AGGGHHH!" Axel said
Julia drove up from the beach and tried dodging landmines as well. An explosion went off and some of the sand went into her eyes. As she tried to rub it off, her go-kart swerved off course and crashed into the outhouse.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
Julia stepped out of her go-kart.
"I'm not making a confessional right now."
Julia tried dragging her go-kart away.

Priya picked up her go-kart and was dragging it up the cliff. It proved to be somewhat difficult for her but she refused to give up.
"A-Almost... there!" Priya said
Priya finally made it to the top. She heard a feint sound of screaming and realized a go kart was coming down in her direction. Before she could react the go kart slammed into her and she fell off the cliff.
"AGGGHHH!" Priya said
Priya, Axel and her go-kart fell into the lake.
~The Lake~
Priya sat behind Axel and held onto her tightly. Axel didn't want any hitchhikers but she couldn't risk wasting any time. Axel drove forward and passed Bowie, who was still being electrocuted.
~The Beach~
Once Axel was on the beach again, she tried doing a better job of dodging the landmines. She spat some water out of her mouth.
"Who said you could ride shotgun?" Axel said
"You bumped into me! Twice! You owe it to me to help me out here!" Priya said
"I don't owe you anything. Especially after what you did to Emma." Axel said
Axel grabbed Priya's face with her hand as she tried to push her.
"W-What I did? I barely spoke to her! Your reckless behavior led to her demise! Don't go blaming other people for your mistakes!" Priya said
Axel's eyes widened as she scoffed.
"Whatever.." Axel said
Axel let go of Priya's face and focused on driving. To her surprise, she could hear Julia's go kart coming up behind her.
"That girl doesn't know when to quit." Axel said
Axel followed the track into the Mess Hall where various interns threw food at her. She wasn't fazed as she drove into the kitchen. Chef stood at the exit door with his trademarked spaghetti bazooka. Axel tried to run him over but Chef shot her with a hot pile of spaghetti. The go kart flew back and slammed into the wall.
"He he he! Looks like this little race is over with." Chef said
The camera panned back over to Chris watching the challenge on his cell phone.
"Wait you're here with me.. so whose that?" Chris said
Chef shrugged.
"I don't know." Chef said
The camera panned back over to the challenge.
"If you help me take down the old man. I'll let you win when we cross the finish line." Axel said
"Deal!" Priya said
The two shook hands. Axel and Priya got up and worked together to take down Chef. Axel set Priya up to kick Chef in the face. While he stumbled, Axel rushed forward to tackle him. Once Chef fell to the ground, the girls ran over to unleash a barrage of punches on him.
Sparks came flying out of Chef as he began to malfunction.
"Error! Error! Error!" Chef said
The girls ignored this and continued to punch him. Chef seemingly exploded as the room shook, the glass shattered as both girls were covered in soot. They coughed and waved their hands.
A person sat on the floor holding a remote control.
"Curses! Another machine ruined!" ? said
"Whose the purple gnome?" Axel said
"I think he's from the Pahkitew Island season." Priya said
"Ha! Finally someone who remembers this handsome face! Will be warned newcomers! This isn't the last time you've seen the likes of me! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" Max said
Max ran out of the kitchen. Axel and Priya stood there confused.
"Okay.." Axel said
"He looks exactly the same as he did 15 years ago. That's gotta be some sort of time anomaly." Priya said

Julia burst through the kitchen and drove out the exit door. Axel and Priya gasped. They hopped onto their go-kart, Axel slammed her foot onto the accelerator and they dashed off.
It was neck and neck between the girls. They could see the finish line up ahead.
"This is it! Whose gonna win? Axel? Priya? or wait a minute.." Chris said
"Is that?" Chef said
Something was moving at supersonic speed. It passed through the forest and rustled the trees. It bumped into Axel and Priya and sent them flying off course.
"This victory is gonna taste so sweet.." Julia said
Julia turned around and saw Bowie coming at her at a breakneck pace.
"No! No! No! No! No!" Julia said
Bowie brushed by Julia and barely beat her to the finish line. He continued driving and crashed into a tree.
"In an unexpected twist! Bowie wins immunity!" Chris said
"NOOOOOOOO!" Julia said
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"What do ya know?"
"That turbo booster really did come in handy."

~Merge Cabin~
Priya sat on her bed as she read a book. Julia entered the cabin.
"Hey bestie! How ya doing?" Julia said
"Fine I guess.. I wanted to ask you something. When I asked for your help earlier, why did you ignore me?" Priya said
"Oh that? Pfft. I didn't hear you, my mind was in the zone." Julia said
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"I did hear her. But I was busy trying to win. One of us needed to and Priya's challenge performance isn't that good compared to mine."

"Anyways... as long as we both vote for Axel. Then it'll be a tie. I'll beat her ass in the tiebreaker and then we'll both be in the final 3! Doesn't that sound great?!" Julia said
"Yeah.." Priya said
"Good!" Julia said
Julia slung her arm around Priya and took a selfie.
"#girlpower! and... send!" Julia said
Julia walked out of the cabin. Priya sighed.
A few minutes later and Bowie arrived.
~Campfire~
The final 4 walked over to the campfire and sat down. Chris held a plate of three marshmallows. Chef was still wearing his pink dress.
"Bowie as the winner of today's challenge. You get the very first marshmallow." Chris said
Chris threw a marshmallow at Bowie. He caught it and ate it.
"As for the rest of you! You all sucked! Axel! While you did good in the drag race challenge. You treated the go kart challenge like it was a game of bumper cars!" Chef said
Axel shrugged.
"Julia! For someone whose supposed to be very fashionable, you did terrible in the drag race challenge! Like seriously what was that?" Chef said
"Weirdest performance ever." Chris said
"I'm too pretty to pretend to be a guy." Julia said
"And as for you Priya! Your Chris Mclean impression didn't land too well! And it just might send you home." Chef said
Priya gulped as she noticed that Chris was glaring daggers at her.
"Nah just kidding. You're also safe." Chef said
Chef threw a marshmallow at Priya. She breathed a sigh of relief.
Axel and Julia glanced at each other.
"The final marshmallow goes to.." Chef said

A marshmallow came Axel's way. Julia was confused.
"Chef you clearly read the votes wrong. It's supposed to be a tie." Julia said
"I have three votes with your name on it in my hand." Chef said
Julia gasped. She stood up and pointed at Priya.
"YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Julia said
Priya awkwardly tapped her fingers together.
"Bowie made me an offer I couldn't refuse... sorry." Priya said
Julia tried to pounce on Priya but was held back by Axel.
"You no good lying little backstabber! I'm gonna wrangle your little neck!" Julia said
Julia tried to escape from Axel's grasp so she could beat up Priya. But it proved to be difficult.
Meanwhile on the sidelines, Bowie was watching this with glee.
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"Yeah I told Priya that Total Drama finales are always physical, and she has a way better chance of beating me than Axel or Julia."
"So we formed a little final 2 pact. Needed something in my backpocket just in case Axel decided to go wacko again."

~Dock of Shame~
Julia checked her cellphone as she walked across the Dock of Shame. She gasped as she looked at her Instagram comment section.
"Girlflop? Worst Total Drama Villain ever?!" Julia said
Julia nearly crushed her phone.
"I tried! I really fucking tried and this is the thanks I get?! Ohh when I'm done, no one from this cast will ever be able to show themselves online again! I'll make sure you all get cyberbullied!" Julia said
The Drone of Despair flew by and picked up Julia by her wrist.
"Whoa!" Julia said
The sudden commotion caused Julia to drop her cellphone. The Drone picked her up as she flew off into the sunset.
"Wait! That was my last phone!" Julia said
Chris waved goodbye.
"And with that we say farwell to our resident instagram influencer. Next time we're bringing you a big ol finale! Who will take home the million dollars? Axel? Bowie? or Priya? You'll have to stay tuned to find out on TOTAL DRAMA REBOOT!" Chris said
And that concludes the end of another chapter. I usually don't do original challenges in my fics so this was a bit of a struggle to write. The inspiration from this came from old total drama news during 2022. There was supposedly going to be a drag race challenge in the reboot. But it ended up being scrapped.
So I thought.. why not do it here? So that's what I did. Unfortunately, I don't know a whole lot about drag racing so I'm not sure if I got it completely correct.
With Julia gone we have our final 3. Who you gonna root for? Whose it gonna be? Is it Axel or Priya or will you pick Bowieeeeee?
