(The Reincarnation of Obito Uchiha)

Joudo, where the dead reside and live out their afterlife. Two residents laughed and talked about the living conversing to one another.

1st Person Perspective (Obito)

I walked with Rin talking about Kakashi becoming the 6th Hokage. How Guy challenged him, and Kakashi losing a bet and having to wear Guy's famous green suit. Chasing down a terrified Naruto for accidentally burning his Icha Icha Paradise book with killer intent. The rest of team seven sweat dropping. Laughing away at Kakashi's misfortunes, my mood was flipped when I thought about all the time Kakashi stood at my grave. It seemed like Rin noticed because she was looking at me with concern.

"I understand you have some regrets, but you made up for it in your final moments. So don't think you didn't do anything for him." Rin said gently putting her hand on my shoulder.

"I know... but I wish I could've done more especially for our village. I want to help people, just like that over energetic blonde that changed my mindset that consumed me of my hatred and anger in under a day." I frowned and thought of what could've been.

"I could make that happen."

Turning around Rin and I saw a tall lean man, with long black hair flowing behind his head. He wore a white robe with a blue collar that has kanji saying "Kami".

"Kami? Are you really Kami?" Rin wide eyed she looked at me looking for my reaction.

I looked at the tall man, still not believing this man was Kami. I thought to myself that this guy could be lying to us get a kick out of our reactions.

"No child this is no trickery."

Shocked I look at the man and asked. "Wha? How did you kno-"

"I know because I read your mind, I sense that you were distrustful of my power so I merely wanted to reassure you."

Still having doubts about the man I only stared at him with an untrusting glance.

"I see that you are still hesitant about my status, well maybe this will help you." The man said holding out his arm.

My eyes widened when I sensed his power increasing.

"That's the ten tails form!"

A familiar staff with seven rings appeared at his hand, eight black balls appearing behind him. I looked at his eyes and he stared at me with the Rinnegan. Rin looked shocked, only seeing this form from a far.

"I do not mean to alarm you, but if you do not believe me then I hope this will be the final nail in the coffin to convince you that I am what I say I am." Kami reverting back to his normal form the power asserting out of him, gone in an instant.

"So you could really give me the chance... to save people?" I looked at Rin, realizing I would have to leave her. Looking back at me, Rin gave me a smile.

"No, I can't leav-"

"Obito... I know leaving me might be difficult but I think you need this. Plus I waited for you for nineteen years, I can wait more. I know you'll do great at saving people!" She looked at me understandably knowing my inner turmoil.

I looked at Rin, tears almost escaping me. I blinked them away and looked back at Kami.

"If I really can save people I would love too, but what would I do?"

"There is this world, far away from the elemental nation that is endangered due to its foolish gods. But they are still gods, though they are foolish have patience with them, most of them mean well." Kami said frowning at the sky. Turning around and summoning some water, he projects an image of the world."

"You will be sent to this world, with humans that know no better of what's happening around them. Where monsters and gods reside with these humans."

Kami showed us the beautiful land scapes, the people and the cities that reminded me of the villages in some ways.

"This here is Camp-Half blood, this is where you would need to go. Where you will begin your journey to save the world."

"How can I make it there? It's not like I know the path toward this place."

"Do not worry, I will give you a sign of where you need to go."

Then Kami swiped onto another screen and Rin and I were wide eyed for what we saw, a kid around his teenage years wearing a black jacket and black track pants and wearing what seems to be running shoes. His black messy hair covering up his face. We watched as he struggled to get away from wolves that were bigger than normal, their gigantic teeth breaking down on the boy. We watched as he tripped over a root crawling backwards with a dagger pointed toward the wolves as they steadily get closer to him.

"This will be the first person you save Obito Uchiha, now come forth and I shall send you to him."

I walked slowly toward Kami, turning around I looked at Rin.

"Sorry, Im going to leave you again ain't I? Promise I'll be back, just watch over me!"

I gave her one of my famous idiotic grins just like I gave her when we were chūnin. Turning back to Kami he held out his hand placing it on my head, my body started glowing, disappearing from this existence.

"I wish you luck Uchiha, please take care of yourself."

Third Person Perspective

As the boy looked on with utter fear at the sight before him he had lost hope, hope of getting to camp half blood, hope of meeting his father, hope of having friends that understood him and his difficulties. The boy looked on, his death slowly approaching. As he closed his eyes he plunged his dagger into his heart, killing him slowly.

But a sudden light indulged the boy, waking the boy up from his despair. It's as he was watching his own self from a third person view. How his body healed from the self inflicted wound standing up and grabbed his bloody dagger and lunged at the hellhounds. His body dodging the claws that were aimed at him with ease. Killing off the hounds that dared strike at him.

The boy thought it was over when more hellhounds approached his body's rear and dove at it. But the hound pounced on nothing, as if it went right through his body. Striking the hound with a finishing blow my body stood there, on a pile of dead hellhounds staring up at the sky. The boy catching a glance of two spinning red eyes, reverting back to his normal brown ones.

The boy was shocked, never in his life would he expect his own body to move on its on neither can it kill off such a large pack of hounds. Though the boy wondered what are those red eyes.

Obito Uchiha Perspective

As I looked on to the sky the moon stared back at me, as I caught my breath tired from the fight.

"I guess I'm getting rusty if I'm tired from just that."

I said looking around for the boy I saw in Kami's projection. I scanned the forest and only saw a pool of blood near a tree, was I too late?

"Damn it! I couldn't even save a boy! I've already failed!"

I fell down on the floor, slamming my fist on the ground frustrated at myself for being too slow. But as I were going for a second punch, I realized that my fist was a lot smaller than normal. And that I was shorter, I looked at my palms to see that my observation was true. But as I was doing that I sensed a presence next to me, as I turned my head a boy was looking at me floating around with curiosity in his eyes.

Shocked I leaped backwards, and fully saw the boy. It was the boy from the projection, but instead of looking alive the boy looked like a ghost.

"Who are you? Some ghost?"

"HEY! IM THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE ASKING THAT! YOUR THE ONE POSSESSING MY BODY!" He said stomping the air.

"Wha-" Then it dawned on me, the reason why I couldn't see the boy initially, why I was smaller than normal was because I'm in the boy's body. I looked back up and was confused as well. Why didn't Kami say he would plunge me into a kid's body?

"Well? Gonna explain what's happening?" The boy said getting closer to me his eyebrow cocked up.

As the boy flew closer, a light surrounding both of us suddenly appeared. Closing my eyes I felt like I was being moved toward the boy. Engulfing both of us again, the light shined with an even brighter intensity.

"Whoa!" I heard the boy yell out.

As the light shined upon us scorching pain overcame me, holding my head I started screaming. I started to gain memories, not from myself but from the boy's. It felt like I was merging with the boy, sharing our memories, our experiences and most importantly our pain.

After the pain subsided, my conscience became to fade as well. Physically and mentally exhausted I collapsed falling into Hypnos's domain.
