Quick little one shot based off something in a Discord group I'm part of. As always what you recognize I don't own.

Tseng was running hard and fast and quickly talked into the walkie-talkie he had on him.

"Whoever gave Tuesti coffee today is going to have words with me, and if it was you Reno you are not going to like the next session on the mat."

"It wasn't me this time, think it was someone from Urban Development."

"Who should know better."

"It was the new guy unfortunately, the only started today and didn't know about the rule new guy, and I just found out something that makes things worse."

Tseng freezes in mid run stumbling slightly because there was only one thing worse then a hyper active Reeve because of coffee.

"Not an energy drink in the coffee, please not that combination."

"Sorry Tseng, it's that exact combo."

"Does anyone know the last time Tuesti got proper sleep?"

After a few moments of silence Veld is heard.

"Last I knew it was two days ago minimum."

"Okay who forgot Tuesti watch since I know for a fact that before that he hadn't slept for a week?, at least not longer then cat naps that were an hour or two."

This time it was Rude who spoke up.

"I sent him to the special nap room and locked it from the outside yesterday when I noticed his clock in time, he must have hacked it somehow and escaped from there."

"Right, well I lost him so does anyone else have eyes on Tuesti?"

Unfortunately no one did, and no one would for two days. Finally after a very stressful forty-eight hours of no word from Tuesti and only brief sightings of a hyper Tuesti, Cissnei would speak up this time around.

"I have him, looks like he either finally crashed or got interested in something else, I'll approach carefully just in case."

As it would turn out Reeve finally had crashed from the caffeine and sugar high because he really hadn't gotten a lot of sleep recently because not even Veld had realized that Reeve had faked sleep for the most part and actually hadn't had proper sleep for two and a half weeks before his sudden run through Shinra towers. Once Reeve was on his office couch Tseng collapsed into the nearby chair exhausted.

"This is why we have that rule, anyone else think we need to update it?"

"Might be needed considering this is the fifth time in just as many months."

"Urban Development will also have some new rules for incoming interns as well after this."

"Then let's coordinate those rules so that we can hopefully prevent this from happening again."

Ultimately the new rules would work for the most part, but not in entirety, but at least the shenanigans weren't as bad as before the rules were in place and that was a relief to everyone in the tower no matter which department you worked in.
