A/N: So I recently read a few of Askora's works over on AO3, and I've been obsessed. Honestly, I cannot stress enough how good the fics are. So you get this! :D I couldn't help but take inspiration from their works, I love them so much. ;w;
Fair warning, a lot of this chapter is me shamelessly making Izuku feel bad about his weight. Bear with me, the whole fic won't be like this... I didn't even mean to make it this bad in the first place, but reading through it while editing had me scratching my head going, Huh, this is a lot of weight-based angst. I'll try to change that in the future, but I'm obsessed with Izuku hating himself because of his weight while the others are just like, "Huh? But you're cute af." Thank you so much, Askora. You've fucked up my tastes for life. :')
All that being said, this is not a kink fic. It's just me shamelessly putting a chubby Izuku down about his weight, even though he's beautiful and everyone loves him.
Also, this fic takes inspiration from the BL manhwa "No Way, Vampires Don't Exist!" along with the part where Izuku has to lose weight for Eijirou, Katsuki, and Shouto to drink his blood. (though in the manhwa, Dongha has to gain weight.)
AND this is my first A/B/O fic! Ever. I don't know how well I've done, but I've read a bit in my time. ;)
TW: Please note that this story includes self-harm/non-con touching. I don't know how detailed the triggers will be, but regardless, if you have problems with self-harm or non-con I don't recommend reading this. (I mean, you can, but please be warned that there will be mentions of/the act of self-harm and non-consensual touching in this fic.)
That is all! Enjoy, my gremlins! 3

"I'm so fucking sick of drinking these blood packs," Katsuki, who was sitting on the couch with his boyfriends, grumbled as he tossed the now empty plastic to the side. "I want fresh, human blood," He snarled.
Eijirou shook his head, somewhat sadly. "You know that's impossible. Remember the last time we tried that?" He huffed.
His skin crawled at the memory of those human girls that their mentor, Shouta, had sent to live with them. They were annoying, loud and obnoxious. And worst of all, they were obsessed with trying to fuck them—which was disgusting. Not only were they filthy humans, they were female humans.
Eijirou wasn't into women; never had been, and never would be. However, their insistence on such hadn't stopped them from being interested in him and his boyfriends.
Gross.
"Well, maybe Mr. Aizawa can give us a male human this time? Straight, of course, but it would at least give us something to look at before we suck him dry." Katsuki smirked at the thought.
Shouto shook his head. "I doubt Mr. Aizawa would appreciate us objectifying our food," Shouto replied, deadpan. "And I'm not sharing with him."
Katsuki rolled his eyes. "I said straight, didn't I?" He scoffed.
Eijirou hummed. It wasn't a bad plan. They could get some poor, unsuspecting human fool to come live with them, and then—as Katsuki had so eloquently put it—suck him dry. "I like this idea," Eijirou piped up as he sucked on his package of foul-tasting deer blood. "We should give Mr. Aizawa a call. If not, classes at Yuuei start up in a month from now. Maybe we could pluck some unlucky fellow from our classes...?"
"And have people suspect we had something to do with them being out of it all the time? I know you're stupid, but you can't be that stupid." Katsuki glared at him through hazy eyes from feeding.
"Maybe you're right..." Eijirou ignored the part where he'd called him stupid, instead agreeing with the blond alpha. "So maybe Mr. Aizawa could help us find someone? I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard," He said, finger tapping his chin in thought.
"I don't know…" Shouto muttered. "Maybe we should just stick with the deer blood, it's not that bad."
Katsuki scoffed, pressing into his alpha boyfriend's shoulder gently as he said, "Yeah right. It's fucking disgusting."
Shouto deflated a bit at his words. "Yeah... " He admitted, proving the blond's point when he brought the blood pack up to his lips and winced at the sour taste.
"Then it's settled?" Eijirou asked tentatively, watching his boyfriend's eyes turn to him.
"Yeah, let's ask Mr. Aizawa for a human male—and not another fucking alpha." Katsuki's eyebrows furrowed as he spoke. "Either way, there's no way I'm going to keep drinking this shit if I can help it," He grumbled.
"Just be thankful we get anything at all. Mr. Aizawa helps us out of the goodness of his heart, you know," Eijirou said as he poked Katsuki in the arm.
"Yeah, more like out of fear that we'll go wild and expose the supernatural world to humans if he doesn't help us," Katsuki scoffed.
"Oh, hush, you. You know he's a good guy," Eijirou laughed as he booped Katsuki on the nose lightly.
Katsuki rolled his eyes but leaned into Eijirou farther. "We'll see how good of a guy he is with the human he sends us," He said.
"If he even sends us another one at all. Lord knows all those memory-erasing spells must be draining," Shouto murmured.
Eijirou laughed. It was the truth. With the amount of humans they'd come into contact with and had subsequently chased off, it was no wonder Shouta had been hesitant to send the last few humans he did. "I'm sure everything will be fine."
"He better be cute." Was all Shouto had to say in reply.
"Pfft. Humans aren't 'cute.' They're bearable to look at at best, and ogre-ish at worst. Even if he is cute, I'll be damned if that hobo can find anyone who rivals you or Eijirou." He smirked.
The other two blushed as Katsuki pulled out his phone, intent on calling Shouta.
"I don't understand what Katsuki has against humans," Shouto said. "I'm sure we'll get some super hot beta. Not that I'd ever fall for anyone but you two, but as Katsuki said, it would be nice to have a little eye candy around the house."
Eijirou nodded and pressed his lips against Shouto's tenderly. It'll be fun to see where this goes, He thought to himself. I'm kinda hoping for some cute beta male. Tall and lean, long legs and slender hips. It'll make watching them squirm while we feed that much more enjoyable.
But little did they know, that in one way or another, each of them was wrong in their own way.
✧༺ ༻✧
Izuku Midoriya had just gotten off his shift at the animal shelter when he saw a man waiting outside. He was looking down at his phone, but the second Izuku stepped into the chilly March air, the raven-haired man turned his gaze up to meet his eyes.
Izuku was about to shy away, knowing the man could probably smell the strong omega pheromones wafting off of him—until he approached and Izuku recognized him as Shouta Aizawa, a volunteer he'd seen around at the shelter. He had gotten off an hour before Izuku. So why is he still here? He wondered.
"Midoriya," The alpha smiled down at him when he got close enough. He towered over the boy, but then again, most people did. After all, Izuku was an omega, and only stood at five foot three, whereas most alphas were above six feet tall. Some betas too—but unlike alphas, female betas didn't typically reach that range.
Izuku looked up at the man, noting the way his slightly elongated canines glinted in the sunlight. It was something that had always unnerved Izuku, and though he wasn't sure, he had an inkling that the man standing before him might be a vampire. Not that he could just come right out and ask, lest he risk giving away the fact that he himself was a faerie. That, and he ran the risk of sounding like a nut-job if that wasn't the case.
"How can I help you, Aizawa?" He asked timidly. Whenever an alpha was involved, nothing good usually came from it. It either ended in harsh comments, at best, or hands all over his body, at worst.
"I couldn't help but overhear the phone call you had with your landlord the other day," He began, taking in the look of panic that flashed across Izuku's face. Shouta thought it was over the fact that he'd been heard in the first place, when really, it was due to that being another sign Shouta was exactly what he thought he was, a vampire. "Ah, sorry. You came into the dog kennels while I was inside with Mikiya. You didn't realize I was there and by the time I thought to say something I felt it was already too late. My bad." Shouta rubbed the back of his neck as he looked down at the chubby omega in front of him.
Izuku shifted from foot to foot nervously. "It's- it's alright, Aizawa. Don't feel too bad, I've gotten caught up in similar situations before..." He hadn't. "But what did you want to talk to me about, in the first place?" He asked cautiously.
Shouta went back to grinning at that. "Well, what with your apartment being closed down due to the structural issues you mentioned, I felt I should offer you a place to stay," He said.
Izuku's face turned red at the thought. For one thing, Shouta was twice his age, for another, what the hell was he supposed to do when they had their heat and ruts, respectively?
"Uh- Um, I think it would be best if I found my own place to live, Aizawa. It's nothing on you, and no offence, but I don't know how I feel about living with an alpha so much older than me, especially with heats and ruts and all... I just wouldn't feel, um, safe. But again, it has nothing to do with you! I'm sure you have impeccable self-control, as most alphas are taught as soon as they present, I just don't know if that would be the best idea. I mean, I just think-"
"Midoriya," Shouta stopped him gently, effectively cutting off Izuku's rambling. "I wasn't suggesting you live with me." He placed a hand on Izuku's shoulder lightly, which the younger man tried not to flinch at but failed. "I have a... home of sorts—for kids in situations such as yourself. Three other people live there, they're very kind, and I'm sure you'd all get along great. I wouldn't ask for rent or anything, I've just noticed that you need a place to go... and, well, maybe some friends. You don't seem to have many of those," He muttered the last part.
Izuku was rigid under his touch, eyes wide. Or any friends at all. His mind spat at him bitterly, but he ignored it. "That's- that's very kind, but-"
"I think it would be a good fit for you, Midoriya. Did I mention you're going to be in my class in Yuuei? They will also be going to the same college as you, same class, as well. I think it would be a good way to start the year off right, don't you?" He asked. Izuku thought he saw something shift in his eyes and his head began to swim slightly.
Izuku tensed a little under his hold. I don't really have anywhere else to go... he thought. And it would be a good chance to make the friendships I've so desperately craved for so long. Izuku gulped. "When- when can I move in?" He asked hesitantly.
Shouta smiled down at him. "As soon as you're ready. In fact, I can drive you to your apartment to pick your stuff up right now if you'd like. After all, I'm sure you are eager to meet your soon-to-be classmates."
Izuku nodded slightly, not realizing the charm that Shouta had placed on him to make him that much more compliant.
"Alright, let's go get your stuff."
✧༺ ༻✧
"Mr. Aizawa said he got a male human and that he's on his way!" Eijirou cheered excitedly as he glanced up from the text message.
"Wait—really? It's only been a week and a half. Isn't that a bit quick, even for Mr. Aizawa?" Shouto asked, trying to peer over Eijirou's shoulder to read the text message.
"Not quick enough, if you ask me." Katsuki plopped down on the couch. He rested his head on Eijirou's shoulder.
"Is he cute, at least?" Shouto asked.
Eijirou shook his head. "Not sure. All Mr. Aizawa said was that he was in a lucky situation and managed to find someone. He texted that he'd be here in ten or fifteen minutes, they just picked up the guy's stuff."
Katsuki frowned, "I swear to God, he better be straight." He growled.
Eijirou laughed. "Well, Mr. Aizawa did say it was a lucky situation, but I'm sure everything will be fine. As hot as my amazing boyfriends are, I'll be sure to put him in his place if he tries to get handsy."
Katsuki scoffed. "Yeah, because you were so good at that the last twenty times someone got 'handsy' with us. You included." He shot his boyfriend a glare.
Okay, yeah. None of them really knew what to do in those kinds of situations. Eijirou was usually one to try and direct the girl's hands away, or laugh it off and let them down gently. Shouto always got growly and pried their hands off of him, and Katsuki would glare and bare his teeth, fangs included.
"Well, as long as they don't touch either of you, I don't care." Shouto picked up the blood pack he'd been sucking on before Eijirou had mentioned the new human. He sucked on it listlessly as he glanced at the TV, which was playing some stupid action movie.
"Oi. He better not touch you either, half-and-half. Ain't no way I'm letting that happen." He gave a light smack to the back of Shouto's head and the other turned to glare at him.
The girls—and some guys—had always chased after all of them, especially back in high school. They'd been the popular, pretty alpha boys, but Shouto always had it the worst.
What could Katsuki say, his boyfriend was a chick magnet. They all were.
But it got pretty fucking annoying at times, especially when they'd admitted to their feelings and got together, subsequently becoming more territorial than ever over each other.
"Well, we'll just have to wait and see," Eijirou said. "I'm sure everything will get worked out. Just think of the fresh blood—that's all that matters."
It better fucking work out, Katsuki thought as he side-eyed his boyfriends. Or I'll kill the little bitch-ass human.
✧༺ ༻✧
The doorbell rang seventeen minutes after they got the text. They'd nearly tripped over themselves in their haste to reach the door.
It was Shouto who reached it first and yanked it open fervently, only to stop in his tracks.
The first thing he noticed was the overwhelming scent of omega that flooded his senses. He nearly let out a growl, shocked that Shouta would think of letting something so fragile into their den of alphas, but his heart stopped when he caught sight of the little human.
He had vibrant green eyes and freckles dotting along his chubby cheeks. His big doe eyes were drawn and guarded, and his nose scrunched up cutely at what Shouto presumed was their alpha pheromones. Drawing his eyes lower, Shouto noticed the cute chubby tummy hiding beneath the much shorter male's baggy uniform, and his wide hips and thighs, even though they, too, were hidden by his work clothes.
The younger man noticed Shouto's eyes staring at his little pooch and he tugged at his shirt self-consciously as he frowned.
He was just so... so cute.
"H-Hi. My name is Midoriya Izuku. It's- uh- it's nice to make your acquaintance," He muttered.
No one spoke, looking stunned, and Shouta smiled. This was exactly what he'd been hoping for. He knew the omega was cute, and it looked like that fact was not lost on the three alphas standing before the pair at the doorway.
He just hoped that Izuku could be the long-time blood supply they needed... but just in case, he had an idea on how to make sure their relationship grew in case they got too antsy and tried to drink his blood.
"I need to talk with you three alone," Shouta said as he turned to Izuku. "Midoriya, you can go to the fourth bedroom on the right and get your stuff set up, let me talk with these three."
Izuku nodded his head, his short frame disappearing down the hall.
"What the hell were you thinking?" Katsuki hissed as soon as Izuku was out of earshot. "An omega? Seriously?" He asked, incredulous.
"You said you needed to drink human blood, I got you human blood. What's the problem?" Shouta said as he raised an eyebrow in question. "Don't tell me you don't want to hurt him just because he's an omega?" He asked, resisting the urge to smirk.
Because of course they won't.
"Even if we couldn't- you- how could you bring an omega into our home? Those things have heats, you know. Do you know how crazy that's going to drive us? Do you expect us to have him for what- a week? A week before you wipe his memory and he goes on his merry way. There's no way we're keeping him longer. He'll be a nuisance to deal with if he goes into heat."
Shouta let out a long exhale through his nose. "About that," He said. Katsuki's anger flared, waiting for whatever it was Shouta had to say. "He needs to lose weight before you can drink his blood. It wouldn't be healthy for him, or you, to feed from him in the condition he's in."
Shouto's eyebrows shot up his forehead at that. "And how exactly do you expect us to get him to lose weight?" He asked.
"I'm sure you'll figure something out." Shouta finally gave in to the urge to smirk. He was making up bullshit on the spot, but they'd bought it just like that. "He'll need to lose about five pounds before you can do anything with him. Could take a few weeks, could take a few months. Either way, I have faith in you." He paused. "But I'd suggest you do it before his next heat, as omegas are known to get especially hungry around then. He took three days off of work two weeks ago, so I assume that was his last. Thinking along those lines, you've probably got a good two and a half months before the next."
Katsuki's eye twitched. "You think I want that fatty here, anyway?" He scoffed. They heard the sound of something drop further down the hallway, not having noticed in the heat of their conversation that Izuku had come out of his room, ready to grab another box of his meagre belongings from Shouta's car.
They all turned to see Izuku standing there, tears forming in his eyes, and a toothbrush at his feet.
Izuku's face scrunched up and Katsuki immediately regretted his words. "I-I didn't mean that, Midoriya. I'm just pissed that we have to share our house." He backpedalled, able to smell the hurt pheromones wafting from Izuku's rigid form.
He wiped at his eyes and picked up his toothbrush, turning to return to his room. "I'm used to it, anyway," He muttered so quietly that even with their enhanced hearing they had trouble understanding him.
But they had, and none of them liked the implications of what he'd said.
They watched Izuku retreat into his room, able to hear more silent crying from behind his closed door.
"Good one," Eijirou hissed at Katsuki, who shot him a glare.
"Well, how the hell was I supposed to know he was there?"
"You should have! You're a fucking—" He lowered his voice, "—vampire, you idiot."
Katsuki's gaze lowered to the floor. He felt immensely guilty for what he'd done. He knew it was rude, offensive, uncalled for, but he'd just been so mad that he'd said the first thing that came to mind. The truth was that he couldn't care less whether or not Izuku was chubby, in fact, he thought he looked rather cute with his chubby cheeks and little tummy.
"Just- I didn't mean- I- oh, come on! How was I supposed to know?! I didn't hear him, for God's sake! Cut me some slack!"
Shouto surprised them when he growled, "You'd better apologize." In a dangerous tone.
Katsuki looked down with a scowl on his face, cheeks red and ruby eyes narrowed. He was silent for a moment, until he said, "Whatever," with a small scoff.
"No, Katsuki. You will apologize." Eijirou growled, for once not taking his bullshit.
"What's gotten into you two? Don't tell me your alpha instincts are telling you to take care of him just because he's an omega. You need to chill out." He grumbled.
"There was no need for that, Bakugou. And I agree that you should apologize," Shouta scolded lightly as he turned. "I'm sure everything will work itself out. I'm going to go grab the rest of Midoriya's belongings and then I'll be on my way," He paused. "And if I find out even a drop of his blood has touched your lips before he loses weight, I'm cutting off your allowance for three months," he grumbled as he exited through the door.
Katsuki huffed at Shouta's words and Eijirou and Shouto shot him a glare, one that Katsuki—for once in his life—couldn't find within himself to return.
"Fuck. Fine. I'll apologize," He grumbled.
Shouto and Eijirou nodded, but their glares didn't lessen.
"You'd better."
✧༺ ༻✧
They cooked a—healthy—dinner, hoping the prospect of eating could break the ice and give them a reason to get Izuku out of his room.
Once they had the serving of Daiko, Natto, and some edamame set on the table, Shouto went and knocked on Izuku's door.
"Midoriya?" He called. He could smell something off, but he couldn't place what.
"Uh- uh, just one second!" He called. Little did Shouto know the boy had a blade pressed against his leg as he silently carved into the disgusting, pudgy skin of his thighs.
He knew that even if he was a vampire, fae blood didn't smell like human blood, so though he may smell something off with him, Shouto would be none-the-wiser to what he did to himself when things became too much for him.
After that blond boy had commented on what a 'fatty' he was earlier, his thoughts had spiralled and taken a sharp turn into despair over his body, what a failure he was, how disgusting, ugly, and worthless he was. He couldn't calm down and did the only thing he could think of—dragging a blade into his tender, meaty thighs.
"But are you okay?" Shouto asked, scenting the air curiously from the other side of the door.
Izuku nodded before realizing the other boy couldn't see him. "Y-Yeah, of course." He lied.
If Shouto was a vampire, and could therefore hear and pick up the lie in his heartbeat, he didn't say anything on the matter. "Okay, well, dinner is ready whenever you want to come eat." He said lightly before walking back down the hall.
Izuku wiped away his tears and mopped up his blood with one of the old towels that had been in the duffle bag he'd brought in earlier, glad the first bag he'd decided to grab had been the one with his 'supplies' in it.
He let out a shaky sigh and grabbed some gauze, wrapping it around his leg. He ignored the sting as he hurriedly pulled up his pants before exiting the room silently.
He had to admit that his fae side helped with his light footsteps, even though he was a bit on the heavier side.
Fae were supposed to be light, beautiful, and barely there. But of course, Izuku was none of those things. He was fat, ugly, and took up too much space. He yearned to pick up his blade once again at the thought but refrained.
When he got to the living room/dining room, he noticed the three boys—the three alphas—sitting nervously at the table, food surrounding them as they stared down at their plates sullenly.
Are they really this upset that I'm their new roommate? I know I'm nothing much, hard to look at, disgusting, fat and—stop—but surely it's not that bad, right?
From that moment he'd decided that he'd keep to himself. It was obvious that the trio didn't want him around, so who was he to intrude?
He hesitantly made his way to the table, looking down at the meagre proportions of his plate compared to theirs.
Am I so disgustingly overweight that they want me to eat so little...? He thought, gut clenching. Maybe they're just trying to help?
He gulped and took a seat, wincing when the chair creaked under his weight. "Itadakimasu." He said quietly before beginning to eat slowly.
The food was good, but he had to wonder if they'd cooked such a... well, bland and overly-healthy meal because of him. He felt the urge to start crying again at the thought. Surely it's for my benefit. As the blond guy said earlier, they don't want some... 'fatty' living with them.
He let out a shaky sigh around a mouthful of food, staring down at his plate.
"So, uh- I never really got to introduce myself earlier. I'm Kirishima Eijirou," The redhead said.
"Todoroki Shouto," The guy with the scar spoke solemnly.
"And I'm Bakugou Katsuki."
Izuku merely nodded, not looking up from his plate. "I-I wanted to apologize for what I said earlier, Midoriya. It was out of line. I was just mad that someone else was coming to live with us, especially with us being, you know, together, and all. It kinda just throws a wrench in our dynamic. But I didn't mean what I said, I just said the first thing that came to mind."
Good to know the first thing that comes to mind when you think of me is how fat I am. Izuku thought bitterly. Wait-... 'together'?
Izuku choked on the piece of Daiko in his mouth. "You're-" He coughed a little. "You're together?" He asked. "Like, all of you?"
The trio all looked bashful and turned away from him. It's not like we'll know him for more than a few months anyway, then Mr. Aizawa will just wipe his memory... What's the harm? Shouto thought. "Yeah," He said. "We're a thing, all three of us."
Okay, wow. Somewhat surprising... but—Izuku looked at each of them, all well-built, handsome, and perfect-looking—At the same time, it's not. Hot people belong together, after all.
"Regardless, I'm sorry," Katsuki said through gritted teeth.
Izuku nodded. This is no way to start a friendship. But who am I kidding? Who would want to be friends with me? "It's fine," He replied, even though it wasn't.
They fell into silence after that, none of them knowing what to say.
Scraping cutlery and chewing were the only sounds to break the tension-filled air as they ate. Eventually, the silence became too much for Eijirou to bear and he spoke up, if only to fill the void. "I wanted to ask—do male omegas have different pheromones or something? I've never met a male omega, but you smell... like, really good." Eijirou said as he leaned into Izuku a little, sniffing at him subtly.
Izuku gulped nervously. Yeah, definitely vampires, then. What they're smelling is my blood. "Y-Yes. Male omegas smell... 'Really good' to alphas... or- or so I've been told," He muttered, bashfully leaning away from Eijirou's nose as he inhaled his scent greedily.
"Oh, really? It smells... different. That's for sure."
Izuku shook his head, standing up so quickly he nearly knocked his chair over. "I-I'm going to go shower and head to my room, I want to study before school starts in April." He all but ran to the compost bin, dumping the rest of his food into the small green container before hurrying from the room.
"Hah. If we make him uncomfortable every time we eat dinner, he'll lose those five pounds in no time," Katsuki smirked.
"I don't even like what we're doing in the first place," Shouto retorted, standing up and bringing his own plate to the compost. "It feels wrong."
"Shou..." Eijirou said, but Shouto ignored him.
"I'm going to my room. Don't bother me." Was the only reply they got.
Eijirou and Katsuki stared after him, neither of them knowing what to say.
"'Things will work themselves out,' my ass. Shit is already falling apart over one stupid omega," Katsuki groaned.
"I just hope they're okay," Eijirou said.
The contrast to their words was almost laughable, but neither of them was laughing.
✧༺ ༻✧
"Shou..." Eijirou said as he knocked on the door lightly and entered the dark space. Usually, they all slept in the same bed, but it was midnight and Shouto still hadn't made his way to the large room they all shared.
Katsuki had refused to come, saying 'If he wants to pout over the stupid omega, just let him,' to which Eijirou had sighed and ignored him.
Shouto was sitting on the bed with his phone in his hand and looked up with a scowl. Eijirou smiled at him, making his scowl deepen. "I thought I told you not to bother me," he grumbled as his boyfriend came and took a seat on the bed beside him.
Eijirou reached out his hand and cupped his face. "We're sorry. I know how you feel about omegas, what with your mother and the way she was treated by your father... but this is a good thing, Shou. We're all sick of drinking animal blood, and who knows? Maybe omega blood tastes even better than regular blood..."
"I don't want to drink his blood in the first place!" Shouto whisper-shouted. Eijirou gave him a confused look, so he continued. "He's an omega. He's... delicate. What if we end up hurting him? I don't want to be anything like my father..." He murmured.
Eijirou brushed his thumb along his cheek lovingly. "Oh, love. You're nothing like your father. And you never will be, okay? We'll be gentle with him. Drink from him a few times and then let Mr. Aizawa wipe his memory. Then after that, we'll be sated for a few months and can survive on human food alone. Then, well, we'll have to go back to nasty animal blood, but don't you want to take a break?" He asked.
Shouto turned his gaze away. "Well... yes, I wouldn't mind not having to drink animal blood for a while..." He muttered. "But I don't like that we have to make him lose weight. What if we make him uncomfortable?" He asked.
Eijirou nodded, seemingly understanding where he was coming from. "It's just five pounds, Shou. I'm sure everything will be fine. It's not like we're making him lose a substantial amount. I doubt he'll even notice," He assured him.
Shouto leaned into his hand. "I just feel so bad... what if he thinks we're judging him?"
It was a possibility Shouto didn't want to think about. He'd noticed the way Izuku had tugged on his shirt self-consciously, remembered the way his big green eyes filled with tears at what Katsuki had said earlier. He didn't want to make him feel worse than he probably already did.
"I'm sure he won't think that, love. He probably won't even notice, to begin with. We'll take things slow. As Mr. Aizawa said, it could take a few weeks or months. Weeks if we're fast about it... but if we make sure to go at a slow pace, one where he won't even notice, it should only take a bit longer. We'll make sure he's comfortable. It's not like your parents, Shou. Your father was a horrible man... we're- you're- not like him. Okay?"
Shouto nodded his head the slightest bit, but he still didn't like this. He knew omegas were weaker than alphas and betas, and he worried that they wouldn't be able to stop themselves from hurting Izuku when they drank his blood—especially Shouto, who'd always had a problem when it came to over-feeding on humans.
Once the blood hit the back of his throat, it was just so hard to stop. He remembered his father being the same way, how he'd walk in on his mother sometimes with fang marks on her shoulder and a dazed look in her dull eyes. She'd lay on the floor, staring blearily at Shouto and his siblings as they cried.
His mother was an omega, and though her family carried the vampiric gene, she had been born human. Shouto had loved his mother, but it was after she'd poured the scalding water on his face that Enji and Rei's relationship took a turn for the worst.
He began beating her, talking down to her and calling her horrible names. Rei eventually had enough and took her own life one rainy day in July, and their family hadn't been the same since.
Shouto hated his father—he refused to be anything like him.
"Shou?" Eijirou asked quietly. Shouto's eyes focused back in on his boyfriend's worried expression.
"I-If you two want to feed from him, fine. But I'm not laying a finger on him."
Eijirou shook his head. "I know you're worried about over-feeding, but-"
"No," Shouto cut him off. "I can't—I won't." He muttered.
Eijirou gave him a sad look. "We'll figure something out, okay? I know you'd just get jealous if you had to drink animal blood while me and 'Suki got a break. It wouldn't be fair."
Shouto shook his head. He realized that at some point Eijirou's hands had moved from his face, as he now held his arms gently in his grip.
"I'm not saying it will be perfect, but you're not going to hurt him. Me and 'Suki wouldn't let you get to that point," He promised.
Shouto shook his head, wanting to argue, but he knew Eijirou wouldn't let it go if he did. Instead, he leaned in to give Eijirou the slightest peck on the lips. "Okay," he murmured against Eijirou's mouth, which turned up slightly.
"You're not your father," he told him matter-of-factly.
Shouto nodded slightly, face as imperceptible as ever. "I know."
"Let's get you to bed. 'Suki won't admit it, but he's pissed you're not there to cuddle him." Eijirou got up and extended his hand for Shouto to take. Shouto let out a long sigh before taking his outstretched arm and following him to the bedroom.
Katsuki sat there scowling, having heard the entire conversation with his enhanced hearing, even through the thick walls.
"Come here, you idiot." He frowned and held open his arms, which Shouto rolled his eyes at. Regardless, Shouto got onto the bed and cozied up to him.
"You're stupid if you think you're anything like your dumbass father," Katsuki grumbled with Shouto against his chest.
"I know," He muttered back.
They stayed up for a bit longer watching the television sitting atop their dresser before they all fell asleep in a tangle of limbs.
✧༺ ༻✧
Eijirou woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside his window. He noticed Shouto's arms wrapped around him and his head buried in his chest. He gently and silently disentangled himself from Shouto as he stood, pulling the blanket up around the alpha's shoulders before exiting the room.
He could hear a commotion in the kitchen, though it was muted, as if whoever was in there was trying to be silent with whatever it was they were doing. He entered the open space with a frown, seeing Katsuki hauling around a large black garbage bag while rifling through the cabinets and cupboards and tossing seemingly random items in the bag.
"'Suki?" He asked, confusion painting his features.
Katsuki paused with his hand on a box of sugary cereal before turning to face him, already having known it was Eijirou by his scent.
"What?" He hissed.
Eijirou was taken aback a bit, but he also knew his boyfriend was not a morning person, none of them really were.
"What are you doing?" Eijirou asked, glancing at him worriedly.
Katsuki rolled his eyes and turned back to the cupboard, grabbing the box he'd previously been looking at and tossing it in the bag. "I'm throwing out all our junk food." He grumbled.
"Why?" Eijirou asked, making his way over to him. Though he thought he may already know the answer.
"So we can get Midoriya to lose weight, obviously. We don't need him snacking on junk when our backs are turned." He eyed a small bag of what looked to be crackers. He checked the back, scoffed at the calorie count, and tossed that in the bag as well.
"Are you throwing it away?" Eijirou asked as he peered into the garbage bag, which was probably a third of the way full.
"Of course I am." Katsuki rolled his eyes. "If we keep this shit around he'll probably just end up gaining more weight," He muttered. He scanned the cupboard, seemingly satisfied with his work before heading towards the back door.
"Are you really going to make us suffer just so that we can get Midoriya to lose five pounds?" He asked.
Katsuki huffed and opened the door, walking down the steps with Eijirou trailing behind him before tossing the bag in the garbage bin by their garage. "We'll suffer less the sooner we can drink his blood, Ei. There's no point in prolonging this by leaving junk around the house for him to snack on." Katsuki slapped his hands together after throwing the bag out, leaving Eijirou to stare at the bin longingly.
"But we just went grocery shopping yesterday..." he grumbled.
Katsuki shot him a look. "Don't be such a baby," he told him. "You can go back to eating junk food once Midoriya leaves. This is what's best for us."
They walked back up the steps and into the house, Eijirou pouting the entire way up. He didn't see what was so wrong with having at least a few snacks lying around the house. Worst case scenario they hide them in their room. He didn't understand why Katsuki had to throw it all away.
Eijirou supposed he could just use his allowance to go out and buy some junk to hide in their closet or something. Izuku nor Katsuki has to know.
They ended up cuddling and eating breakfast on the couch for a while after that, mindlessly watching the television as the time passed.
Eventually, Shouto ended up coming out to join them. The morning went by slowly as they watched a couple episodes of some romcom Eijirou liked before they watched the first half of an action movie Katsuki had been wanting to see.
It was nine o'clock by the time they heard a door open down the hall, and they all tensed. A very sleepy-looking Izuku walked into their line of sight, and—though they'd never admit it to even each other—their hearts all skipped a beat at what greeted them by the entrance to the living room.
Izuku was wearing a comic T-shirt, his hair mussed from sleep. A slightly chubby hand was clenched into a fist while he rubbed at his eye blearily, the other up his shirt and scratching at his little tummy. His shirt was lifted slightly, revealing a small sliver of belly.
He's adorable, Eijirou thought, resisting the urge to squeal at the sight.
Izuku glanced to where they were seated on the couch, flinching and tugging his shirt down hurriedly. "Mo-Morning," The omega murmured, snapping them out of their trance.
"Good morning," Shouto responded a little breathlessly. Are all omegas this appealing?
Izuku let out a little yawn. He carded a hand through his hair and walked to the kitchen, which was on the other side of the living room. He felt their eyes follow him and felt the urge to squirm.
Why are they watching me...? He wondered, oblivious to the obvious lust in their eyes.
He opened the cupboard and browsed through the selection of breakfast foods, disappointed by the lack of options. He frowned at all the healthy foods, but picked a box of one of the least disgusting-looking cereals and poured himself a bowl with some milk from the fridge. He grabbed a spoon and turned to head to the table, looking up and noticing the alpha's eyes that were still on him.
"Is... something wrong?" Izuku asked hesitantly, not understanding what reason they could have for continuing to stare at him all this time.
Perhaps they're trying to make me uncomfortable? He thought. I don't even know why I decided to come here... Aizawa must be an upir... that would explain why my head felt funny until I agreed yesterday. Ugh, I should have known. I should have used my magic to counteract it! Why didn't I realize? I'm so stupid... I'm such a worthless, useless, ugly fucking- He cut himself off before his thoughts could spiral. ...Either way, they're probably planning to suck my blood or kill me, yet here I am, content to sit patiently in this den of alpha vampires until they make their move.
He took a seat at the kitchen table, head swimming at the realization. Should he book it out of there? Would they track him down? He had faith in his abilities, knowing he was most likely both stronger than them and better at using magic, even if they were upirs... but those were rare, so there was no way in hell all three of them were. And even if that somehow happened to be the case, he knew he could probably win regardless.
He'd been one of the strongest in his clan back home, so he was confident he'd be able to win against the trio of alphas. He enjoyed the looks on people's faces when they underestimated him, only for him to completely overpower them. Not that he could do it much with normal humans, lest they get suspicious, especially because he was an omega.
No, he had to play the part of a weak and pathetic human; hide the shimmering wings on his back and his faerie heritage.
So he put up with the beatings he'd received in high school, the touching and groping that followed him wherever he went—be it in school, on the train, or at work. He put up with the snide comments people made, calling him derogatory names and laughing down at him—even though he wanted nothing more than to fly up and grab their heads—and then smash their faces into the ground.
But he refrained. He pretended to be the 'weak omega' people thought he was, even though they couldn't be more wrong. He may be subdued, he may stutter when he is nervous, and he may look weak, but the truth was, he was anything but.
No one can ever know. The words of his dying mother played through his mind. If people find out what you are, especially in the supernatural world, you will be hunted. Fae are so rare, so powerful, that you could end up getting hurt. I just want what's best for you, my baby. When you reach the outside world, stay hidden. I just want you to stay safe... because I love you.
A few days later, he'd come home to her corpse. She'd been alone when she died. Izuku had cried as he clutched her cold hand, cursing himself for leaving the house when his mother needed him.
After that, he'd left their village and found himself surrounded by humans. There were some supernatural creatures here, too, but they were few and far between. So for years, he'd kept to himself, spiralling further and further into the clutches of self-hatred. He began stress eating and put on weight. He wasn't fat, per se, but he was chubby and he knew it. His belly was pudgy and slightly rounded out, his thighs and hips larger than what should be normal, and his arms slightly flabby.
And many alphas—and betas—had commented on his 'fat ass' when they'd groped him without his consent. Because that's all omegas were good for in their eyes: being fucktoys or baby-makers.
He cringed. The trio was silent, still looking at him from the couch. "Uh... guys? Is there something wrong?" He asked again, staring back at the three alphas from his spot at the table.
"N-No..." Eijirou muttered. "Sorry, we just- um- you're really cu-" Katsuki elbowed him in the ribs before he could finish.
"Nothing's wrong. Sorry, go ahead and eat your breakfast," Katsuki said.
The other two nodded and they all turned around, shooting subtle glances at one another.
Katsuki noticed that the smell that had been wafting off of Izuku was no longer there. He was curious about that. The omega still smelled good—amazing, really—but Katsuki didn't know why his scent had changed after last night.
It was... odd.
Once Izuku finished his bowl of cereal, Katsuki noticed he went to the cupboard to get another.
"Oi," He said, drawing Izuku's attention to him.
Izuku looked at him curiously, not knowing what was wrong. "Y-Yes?" He stuttered out.
"Why don't you come on a run with us?" He asked, and Izuku frowned.
Maybe they really are trying to make me lose weight...? Izuku wondered. The fact that Katsuki had interrupted him from getting a second bowl wasn't lost on him, and now he wanted him to go on a run with them.
Do I look like I exercise? Izuku wanted to scoff but refrained. "I'd- I'd probably just slow you guys down..." Izuku murmured, face red with embarrassment at the admission.
"We're only jogging. Come on, it'll be fun." Eijirou said while Shouto nodded along to his words.
Izuku could picture it now: Him in a T-shirt and joggers while he ran alongside three of some of the buffest men he'd ever laid eyes on. His tummy and thighs would probably jiggle, as well...
"I don't... um... I don't know..." He said weakly.
The alphas got off of the couch and made their way towards them and Izuku had to fight the urge to shrink back. Though all Eijirou did was reach his hand out and ruffle his curly hair. "It'll be a good opportunity to bond," He said with a large grin. "I promise, we'll take it slow if that's what you need."
Izuku's face heated up further at his words. Of course they'd need to go 'slow' with me running alongside them—look at me.
Izuku let out a nervous chuckle to hide his embarrassment. "I mean... yeah, sure... Why not?" He mumbled.
"Great! We'll all change, then?" Eijirou asked.
Izuku nodded slightly, giving a small 'yeah' in response before they all went to their respective rooms to get something more appropriate for exercising.
✧༺ ༻✧
Izuku was blushing furiously as he tried on some of his old exercise clothes. He hadn't gone to the gym since two alphas ganged up on him in the locker rooms a year ago, and he guessed it kinda showed.
He looked at himself in the full-length mirror on his wall, noticing the way his little tummy pooched over the side of the joggers, even though the strings weren't even tied. His stomach strained ever so slightly against the green workout shirt, and Izuku knew if he lifted his arms the fabric would uncover his belly.
How the hell had he not noticed he put on weight? God, he was disgusting. He was a fat, ugly slob who could do nothing more than eat. He felt tears prick at the corners of his eyes as he leaned down and began to sob into his hands.
✧༺ ༻✧
"Shouldn't that shithead be done already?" Katsuki grumbled as the three sat on the couch waiting for Izuku.
"Maybe he changed his mind...?" Shouto suggested, not knowing what could be taking him so long.
"He fucking better not have. I need to drink his blood, and sooner rather than later." Katsuki growled, standing up and beginning to pace.
"We can't force him to-" Eijirou paused as the sound of quiet sobs hit his ears.
"The fuck?" Katsuki hissed as he took off down the hall. The other two followed after him, and when the smell of distress pheromones burned their nostrils halfway to the omega's room, they all quickened their pace.
Katsuki made it to Izuku's room first and began pounding on the door. "Oi, shithead. What's wrong?" He asked, concern evident in his tone of voice.
Izuku took in a gasping breath. Of course they can hear me, they're fucking vampires. "N-Nothing! Go away!" He cried out through sobs.
Katsuki scoffed. "You're obviously upset. Tell us what's going on," He insisted, uncharacteristically gentle, as he placed a hand on the door. "Are you dressed, at least?" He asked.
Izuku let out a sob. "Yes. That's exactly the problem..." He muttered.
The alphas shared a confused look before Katsuki opened the door, reassured by the fact that Izuku was dressed.
The omega gasped when he heard the door open from his spot on the floor. The trio watched him pull his knees to his chest, his face heating up embarrassedly.
"Get out!" He cried, wrapping his hands around his torso in an effort to hide himself.
"Izuku... what's going on?" Shouto asked, concern painting his expression as he bent down to be at eye level with the boy.
"It- It's nothing. I'll be out in a second, just get out!" He wanted to scream at them to get out of his room, make them understand that he didn't want them there—didn't want them to see him in the clothes he'd outgrown—but it seemed they were stubborn in wanting to make sure he was okay.
Shouto placed a hand on Izuku's knee and the omega flinched, curling in on himself tighter. "Would it help if I let off some calming pheromones?" He asked.
Izuku shook his head frantically. "N-No, I'm okay. Just- please, leave," He mumbled quietly.
He didn't want them to see him like this. God, he was so embarrassed.
"We're not leaving until you tell us what's wrong, idiot. You're clearly worked up about something. What kind of alphas would just leave a crying omega on their own?" He scoffed. His tone was somewhat harsh, though when Izuku looked up he noticed his eyes were soft and concerned.
"I-I-" He let out a choked sob, God, was he really about to admit this to them? "I haven't gone to the—hic—gym in a while... and- and... my old gym clothes—hic—don't... they don't... " He trailed off.
The pieces clicked into place in their minds. They don't fit hung in the air as the alphas winced. "Hey, it's okay, Midoriya. You... you look fine if that's the issue..." Eijirou said softly as he too crouched down in front of the omega.
Yeah right. "No, I—hic—don't. I look... I look like a fat—hic—pig! I— I'm so ugly, and... and worthless, and I—hic—know that I'll never be—hic—good enough—Have never been—hic—good enough. Everyone's always been—hic—better than me, and... and I'll—hic—never be anything more than just... just a—hic—fat, ugly, disgusting—hic—burden." Tears streamed down his cheeks as he brought his hands up to his face and cried into them, muffling his broken voice behind soft flesh.
"Fuck that," Katsuki blurted out. "You look fuckin' fine, shithead. There's nothing to be embarrassed about. So what if you have a bit of extra weight? You look cute as shit, anyway." Katsuki brought a hand up and covered his mouth as if he hadn't meant to say that. What the fuck is this omega doing to me? He groaned internally. But it was the truth, Izuku was one of the cutest boys he'd ever met. Sure, he wasn't hot or handsome, but with his big green eyes, chubby freckle-dusted cheeks and full pink lips, he was adorable. So sue me for being unable to keep my mouth shut about it.
"I'm—hic—not..." Izuku managed to get out through his shame, but Katsuki interrupted him.
"Don't fuckin' argue with me," Katsuki said firmly, kneeling in front of Izuku and gently pulling his hands away from his face. "You're adorable, okay? And you're coming on this run with us, and that's final. Got it?"
Izuku stared up through his long, tear-soaked lashes, and their hearts all melted a bit at the sight.
Izuku's nose scrunched up and he pulled his hands away from Katsuki who let go of them gently. "O—hic—Okay..." He murmured through his hiccupping tears. "But I don't want you to see my- my body like this, so... can you leave so I can get changed?" He asked softly.
The three of them nodded their heads dumbly, unable to tear their gazes away from Izuku's beautiful chubby face.
They exited the room silently, walking down the hallway as they listened to the sound of rustling clothes as Izuku put on a different outfit.
"He's really insecure, isn't he?" Eijirou asked, looking dejected after what had happened.
"Ya think? He called himself a fucking fat pig, among other things, Ei." He brought a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose, guilt welling up inside of him. "God, I feel even worse about yesterday now..." Katsuki said. "He must feel like shit about himself, and I added to that," Katsuki admitted with a sigh. "But knowing what I know now, I want to help him get through it. I want to make yesterday up to him. I... I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kinda want to be there for him, you know? There's something about him, maybe it's just the fact that he's an omega, but something is screaming at me to protect him."
"Yeah," Eijirou chimed in, his voice tinged with concern. "I feel the same way... and it's heartbreaking to see him struggle like that."
Shouto nodded in agreement, a sad look on his face. "We'll make sure he knows he's not... a- a 'fat pig,' Starting with this run. We'll show him that he's not alone in this. Maybe he'll even want help to lose weight?" He said in a small voice.
"Maybe that's part of the problem," Eijirou mused. "We need to get to know him better first, and show him that we're here for him no matter what—then, and only then will we even think about making the offer."
Katsuki nodded. "Then that's what we'll do. We'll spend more time with him, get to know him better, and show him that he's not worthless like he believes he is."
"Let's do it."
✧༺ ༻✧
The trio were actually shocked by how much stamina Izuku had. They'd been jogging at a reasonable pace for the better part of an hour so far, and though the three of them were starting to get tired, Izuku was still keeping pace and didn't seem bothered in the least.
Izuku had been silent as they talked, either feeling too embarrassed by his earlier outburst or simply not feeling the inclination to take part in their conversation. Though the alphas suspected it was the former.
"Hey, Midoriya," Shouto said, having had enough of leaving Izuku out of the conversation.
Izuku looked up from the ground and turned his head to Shouto. "Hmm?" He panted slightly, though there was not a drop of sweat on his brow.
Shouto felt the slightest bit confused, wondering how they were all sweaty messes while Izuku was only panting slightly. "Did you used to go on runs or something? I've just noticed that you don't seem too out of shape."
The words 'used to' and 'out of shape' swam in Izuku's mind, but he pushed his bitterness down. "Uh, yeah. I was very athletic as a kid, believe it or not," He laughed nervously. If you count bloodsport as 'athleticism.'
"Oh! That's cool, what did you play?" Eijirou piped up, intrigued.
Izuku gulped nervously. "Uh... baseball?" That's a popular enough sport, they shouldn't get too suspicious. "I um... used to exercise a lot, actually. I kinda stopped when I was fourteen or fifteen, though." And got as fat as a house. Went unsaid.
"Have you ever thought about getting back into it?" Shouto asked. He wanted to bring up the fact that Izuku said he'd gone to the gym a while ago, but he didn't want to embarrass the poor omega by bringing up the situation again.
"Um, yeah, but with me being an omega and all, it's kinda hard to find good places to work out..." He mumbled.
The trio of alphas shared a confused look over Izuku's head. "What do you mean?" Katsuki asked. "Why would it be hard to find a place to work out? They aren't discriminatory, are they? Because I can kick some serious ass if that's the case." He slammed his feet against the ground a little harder at the thought. Who would discriminate against Midoriya? He's adorable! He wondered.
"Ah- no... um... it's more so... um... " He trailed off, not knowing how to finish. Do they seriously not know what happens to omegas in secluded places like locker rooms? "Ne-Nevermind... it's nothing..."
Another confused look was shared as Izuku's face reddened. "No, what is it? If it's not discrimination, what's the issue? Is it because you're embarrassed? If that's the case, we can-"
"No! No, it's not that!" Izuku waved his arms around frantically, effectively cutting Shouto off. Even though that is one of the reasons... "It's just um... you know, I'm an omega, and you know... you have to change... in the locker rooms..." He muttered, hoping that would be enough for them to catch on.
Eijirou and Shouto didn't seem to get it, but Katsuki stopped running. They paused and turned back to him, Izuku hiding his face in his hands. "Wait," Katsuki said slowly. "Do you mean that people have..." Izuku nodded his head slightly and Katsuki's hands clenched into fists. "Midoriya..." Katsuki growled.
Izuku peeked through his hands to see the angered expression on Katsuki's face. "It- It's nothing. It happens everywhere, all the time. It's fine."
Katsuki walked up to him and Izuku curled in on himself slightly. "It's not 'fine!' Far from it!" He hissed.
Shouto and Eijirou, who seemed to have finally caught on, winced. "You've got to tell someone if that happens, Midoriya. A friend, your parents, someone," Shouto urged softly, placing a hand on Izuku's shoulder in a comforting gesture.
"Yeah, well I don't exactly have those." Izuku tore his body away from Shouto's gentle grip. "Haven't for a long time," He murmured.
"Midoriya..." Eijirou frowned, his expression filled with empathy. "You've... you've got us now, okay? Tell us if something like that happens. We'll protect you going forward."
Izuku let out a shaky breath. "Sure," He mumbled. Until I'm no longer useful to you.
Meanwhile, Shouto, Eijirou, and Katsuki were thinking about talking to Shouta and making Izuku an official member of the house, even if that meant keeping their vampire side a secret from him.
"Let's just keep on jogging," Izuku sighed, not wanting to continue the conversation. He turned and took off at a light jog, the other three shaking their heads to clear their thoughts before catching up and keeping pace alongside him.
I want to protect him, Shouto thought.
I want to keep him safe. Will he feel safe if he stays with us? Eijirou considered.
I'll beat the shit out of anyone who touches him, Katsuki brooded.
Little did the omega know, in less than twenty-four hours of knowing the alphas, he had them wrapped around his little finger.
He'd blame it on his fae heritage if he ever found out, but in reality it was his own endearing personality that had so quickly won them over.
From that day forward, Izuku would no longer be alone. After all, the bond between them was already forming, and soon it would grow stronger than any of them could have ever anticipated.
