A/N: And finally, we have the 3rd chapter of the story! And this time, there may be a bit of a surprise for you in store. A few, actually. And let's just say that one of them involves a wish on the 7 Dragon Balls. Also, the episode preview from the previous chapter has been updated in case some of you are confused as to what the preview of the 4th episode entails now. Chapter 3
Play DBZ Music: "Prologue Theme 2"
PREVIOUSLY ON "DRAGON BALL SUPER"...!
First it showed the TV showing the teaser for "Great Saiyaman and Great Saiyawoman vs. Mr. Satan" before it showed Gohan and Videl becoming surprised with Cocoa's new look as the trio were alone on the set together before then showing Cocoa morphing into her second state on her roof, and later during the battle, growing into a giant in the process before then showing Barry Khan getting infected by Watagash and later then kidnapping Pan, who seemed to be giggling as she was being held before Gohan roared furiously and struck him in the cheek as he appeared and sent him crashing to the ground.
Narrator: "Previously on 'Dragon Ball Super'! The Great Saiyamen got their own movie! Gohan and Videl worked as the movie's stuntmen just as Cocoa Amaguri bonded with the symbiotic alien she nicknamed Fuji, transforming into a superheroine alien herself while Barry's anger attracted the evil mind parasite, Watagash, and the symbiotic menace crashed into Gohan's home and kidnapped Baby Pan."
Nevertheless, Barry smirked as he stood up, regaining his composure.
"Well, well. Look who showed up.", Barry smirked.
"You jerk!", Gohan tensed.
Then, it showed Videl seemingly being disintegrated, which not only horrified the others, but also triggering Gohan into powering up with his hair now long, silver, and spiky while his eyes are now red with black pupils before then kicking Barrygash back and even punching through him, which left him struck by the lightning produced from it as it erupted before Videl was then seen turning into a majin in a flashback. Gohan was then seen preparing a signature move akin to Piccolo's and then firing it as Cocoa managed to to tilt Barrygash so that when Gohan's blast hit, it was aimed toward the dandelion, grazing the parasite off his head while the blast left the planet before the director shouted "cut" and it then showed citizens walking into a conference and it then showed Goten running out the theater excitedly with everyone else calm and joyful.
Narrator: "Great Saiyaman, Great Saiyawoman, and their allies sprang into action to save their little girl as the former awakened a shocking new level of power that truly struck fear into the hearts of evil everywhere, thanks to Videl's clever gambit. In the end, thanks to the combined efforts of his allies, the Great SaiyaBeast successfully vanquished Watagash while the movie crew filmed the battle and made it their new ending, turning the Great Saiyamen motion picture into a smash hit.
"And what was that technique? The one you used at the end.", Piccolo puzzled.
"Well, it was kind of a Special Beam Cannon, I guess.", Gohan responded.
"How did you learn it?", Piccolo asked in surprise.
"Y'know... I practiced it in secret.", Gohan replied.
Piccolo gave a light scoff and turned around.
"It looked pretty good.", Piccolo responded proudly, making Gohan smile as he looked up toward the sunny sky.
Then, it showed a distant planet with which Beerus was then served a feast, which he surveyed and then enjoyed a peculiar dessert.
Narrator: "However, in the vast reaches of the universe, an ominous presence rears its foreboding head."
"Tell you what. I'll only take half.", Beerus responded before, in no time, he tapped on the table, sending a purple wave across it throughout the planet, only stopping at half of it before half the planet suddenly exploded with Beerus and Whis having already left.
Narrator: "More details surrounding this ominous presence are revealed, now!"

"A Peacetime Mission; Goten & Trunks' Adventures in Playdates"

One morning, Goku was now driving the tractor. As he drove along, though, something suddenly stopped the tractor. He looked down and saw that it was a stump. After a few times of trying, Goku sighed in annoyance, got off the tractor, and then went over toward the stump. He then tried to pull on it, but it wouldn't budge. At least not yet.
"You just won't let go, will you, stump? You're about as stubborn as Vegeta.", Goku commented to himself before chuckling and successfully pulling the stump out of the ground and tossing it away, finally clearing it away.
"Hey, Dad!", Goten called, puzzling Goku, who turned to see him flying over to him while carrying some boxes. "I brought you lunch!"
"Oh, hey!", Goku greeted. "Kinda early for school to be out, isn't it, Goten?"
"No, Dad. This is Sunday.", Goten replied, handing Goku his lunch.
"Wow, it is?"
Slightly surprised, Goku gave a light chuckle.
"Well, then, you wanna drive the tractor for me while i eat?"
"Okay, sure.", Goten responded.
And so, he did. While this happens, Goku was preparing to eat.
"I love lunch so much...!", Goku chuckled in awe, looking at quite the banquet.
"Thanks for the grub.", Goku thanked as he put his hands together, almost as if praying.
Very quickly, Goku started eating away at his lunch up until he wound up choking. At this point, Goten stopped to help Goku swallow his food, which was successful before Goku finished with a drink.
"That was awesome.", Goku said, stacking the empty boxes together. "All right."
Then, Goku turned Super Saiyan and began training, inadvertently distracting Goten from driving the tractor for him, resulting in some loopy curves. And to make matters worse, Goten finally went off the cliff, finally getting Goku to stop training and turn to see what happened. If Chi-Chi were here, she'd freak out for sure! As for Goten, he was getting understandably worried. Sure, he can fly and might get out fine, but what about the tractor? Suddenly, Goku appeared via Instant Transmission and caught the tractor by the front of it, stopping the descent.
"Look, Goten. You've gotta drive a little better than that, or I can't focus on my training.", Goku said.
"Do you really think you have to keep training?", Goten asked.
"Yeah. Majin Buu was ridiculously strong. There's no way I could've stopped him on my own. And you never know, one day, someone even stronger could show up. So, I've gotta keep training to keep you guys safe. Your big bro decided that after stopping that huge alien monster like in the movie we saw the other day. Make sense?", Goku asked as he flew up and set the tractor down at a safe spot.
"I guess so.", Goten responded.
"The truth is..., I'd like to go to King Kai's planet and do some hard-core training. But your mom's not quite sold on it.", Goku explained.
Then, it went to a brief flashback with Chi-Chi adamantly refusing as Goku said.
"Not a chance! You need to work. You're gonna earn this family some money for once!", Chi-Chi shouted before it went back to the present.
"Yeah, sometimes, I think she must be the strongest on the planet. Besides big brother Gohan, that is. And I guess she has a point since all of Grandpa's treasure has burned up in that fire. There's not much money left.", Goten explained.
Then, as the Ox King was eating, he suddenly stopped and turned around in puzzlement for a moment. Back on the farming grounds, Goten continued.
"But Mom says there are ways you can make decent money, Dad. You know, like if you did the kind of stuff Mr. Satan does."
"Maybe, but I like being out here where I can sneak in a little training at least.", Goku responded as he looked up at the sky.
But given the chaos on the ground, that was far from sneaking in.
"I'm not sure I'd call it sneaking in. This field is kind of a mess.", Goten commented, making Goku chuckle.
"Yeah..."
Meanwhile, in a different planet of sorts, not to mention in a castle, Beerus was grumbling as he laid on his chair.
"What was I just dreaming...? I can almost remember... But then, it slips away...", Beerus said, remembering faint snippets of his dream before impatiently slurping his mouth and opening his eyes slightly to look toward his hourglass in a floating bubble of sorts.
"Oh, Whis! Are you done? WHIS!", Beerus called.
As it turns out, Beerus' attendant, Whis, was checking his own hourglass.
"I still have 2 more minutes, Lord Beerus.", Whis said.
At the moment, he was headed towards a habitant planet. In that planet, there was a bright orange sky with a lush environment. In said environment, a sort of giant, blue dinosaur with small bone-like wings was stomping around when small, green creatures all yelled out excitedly, rushed toward the monster, and tossed their weapons at it. Of course, it amounted to nothing to the giant creature, serving to itch it, making it roar and spew out fire at the creatures and the forest, burning them to a crisp before the gigantic dinosaur. But just then, someone dashed toward the beast, puzzling it long enough for the stranger to fly right into its muzzle head first, if not right between the eyes.
"HO!", the stranger shouted as he spun and then smashed his hammer against the dinosaur, much to the little green creatures' joy.
Moments later, the little green creatures were carrying the massive dinosaur together as their chief looked on proudly. But then, Whis spoke up from behind him, attracting his attention.
"I'm terribly sorry to interrupt your big moment, chief. But you see, it's this dinosaur meat. Word is that it's most delicious. We've heard tales of it all across the 7th Universe. I'm sure it was a most difficult hunt, so I hate to take it from you. Nevertheless, I am taking it.", Whis said.
"HO HO HO HO?!", the chief shouted in anger and shock.
"Ugh..., not this tongue...", Whis sighed.
"HO HO HO HO HO! HO! HO HO, HO HO, HO HO HO!", the chief threatened, cracking his knuckles threateningly.
Play DBZ: Battle of Gods Music: "Beerus' Shadow Approaches Near"
To respond, Whis and the chief exchanged a series of "Ho's" in a dialogue. Whis was willing to go about it peacefully, but the stubborn alien chief was more than willing to keep the dino meat for his village.
"Ugh..., Lord Beerus only gave me 3 minutes to acquire this my own way. If you could just hand it over nicely, it'll give me something to brag about. AND you and your world can escape unharmed. I'd call that a win-win situation.", Whis grinned.
"Ho ho ho.", the chief smirked.
Suddenly, his aura emitted with the chief turning from yellow to red with the yellow spikes on his head turning metallic while his 4 arms were growing and getting buffer. He even grew a long, white horn at the center while his chief's coat was torn off by the change. the little green aliens stopped and were a bit curious and worried about what's going on.
"Oh, my. Your kind can achieve a combat transformation. Seems my research was woefully incomplete. But I still have 40 seconds.", Whis said.
Suddenly, Beerus' voice spoke up to Whis from nearby.
"Nope! Sorry, time's up.", Beerus said.
Whis turned to see Beerus nearby.
"It's only been 2 minutes and 20 seconds and you know it.", Whis said.
"You sure? Because it feels more like 2 centuries and 20 years to me, Whis.", Beerus argued as he then descended down to join him.
"Oh, pish-posh. I still don't get why you're so irritable the first few years after waking up. You know, all the talk about this dinosaur meat are just rumors amd they may not be true.", Whis warned.
"I'm well-aware of that, but I still think it's worth a try. If the stories are true, then it packs a flavor unrivaled in the cosmos. I'm hoping it gives a jolt to my senses and helps me remember the figure from my dream.", Beerus explained.
"A dream?", Whis asked.
"A premonition.", Beerus responded.
"Forgive me, but your premonitions... They don't have much history of coming to fruition, now do they?", Whis asked, making Beerus growl in slight frustration, turning away.
"Now, if you recall, that dream you had a while back about that pop star moving here didn't exactly pan out.", Whis said.
"You're mocking me, aren't you?", Beerus asked.
With that, the alien chief dashed toward Beerus, who simply held out his index finger and blocked every attack that came at him. Eventually, Beerus vanished and then reappeared on the ground, much to the alien chief's shock. In retaliation, he then fired a bolt of lightning from his white horn, only managing to level the ground while missing Beerus, who then reappeared right in front of him, his hand stretched out. This shocked the chief once more.
"I find you dreadfully boring.", Beerus said.
In response, the alien chief fired a blast of fire at him.
"Impressive.", Whis said.
"Ho ho ho!", the chief laughed.
But suddenly, Beerus reappeared near the alien chief, spooking him. Eventually, Beerus smirked at the chief, prompting him to blast him with fire again. This time, though, Beerus used his index finger again to stop the fire.
"is this yours?", Beerus asked, redirecting the fire right back at the chief, quickly besting him as he was now on the ground before Whis reappeared next to Beerus.
"Are you done now?", Whis asked.
"It really irks me when a creature lacks basic manners. Now, then, what was I talking about?", Beerus asked.
"You had a premonition about some mysterious figure you can't recall.", Whis responded.
"Oh, right. I'm THIS close to remembering, but I can't! Oh, and it's such an annoying feeling! Like having something caught in your back teeth that you just can't fish out! Or a dried up bit of earwax you can't reach but feel rattling in your head all day! You know what I mean, right? It's the worst!", Beerus said as Whis looked disgusted for a moment.
"So, my lord. What about the meat? Shall we try some?", Whis asked.
But Beerus began preparing a small orb of light.
"Forget it... It doesn't look that tasty after all.", Beerus replied.
With that, he let the orb of light fall deep past the crust. After a second, the planet started quaking and began to erupt volcanic light from below the crust everywhere. This attracted the worrisome attention of Elder Kai, who gasped!
"Ancestor, is something the matter?", Kibito Kai asked. "Is there a problem with the tea? Too bitter?"
"Are you serious? You didn't feel that?", Elder Kai asked, puzzling Kibito Kai.
"Feel what exactly?", Kibito asked, peeving Elder Kai.
"Were you born yesterday?!", Elder Kai snapped bashing his hands on the table once before looking up in seriousness. "This is bad... Horribly, horribly bad...!"
Meanwhile, Beerus and Whis were now watching as the planet was now in the middle of destabilization.
"It's only been 39 years...! Lord Beerus the Destroyer... has awoken!", Elder Kai responded.
Beerus smirked as the planet finally exploded right in front of them. But Beerus' smirk turned into a surprised look as the light of the explosion showed him a vision of a figure, which was about to strike at him with a punch and a kick.
End DBZ: Battle of Gods Music: "Beerus' Shadow Approaches Near"
Back on Earth, Hercule was having a live interview at Satan City. Or more accurately, his house.
"Mr. Satan, can we get a quote?", one reporter asked. "How do you feel about receiving the grand prize for the World Peace Assembly? Do you agree they should've done it sooner?"
After a moment, Hercule waved his hand toward the interviewers, who grew a bit stunned before he stood up.
"I prepared a statement which I'll now state. I'm proud to say World Peace on Earth is now officially permanentized. I say this humbly: we've had zero new alien invaders since I bravely saved us all. That's clearly because the word of my muscle-bound heroics has spread to the stars. I can see it now...!", Hercule said as a galaxy practically behind him, leaving the crowd in awe.
"Villains throughout the cosmos now quiver in fear, knees buckling at the unbridled power of Mr. Satan!", Hercule added as the galaxy then faded away behind him with Hercule then delivering punches and kicks for show, not knowing that a starving Majin Buu was walking up to the door and entering just as Hercule laughed boisterously.
"What the deal? Buu hungry!", Buu called, shocking Hercule and the interviewers.
Hercule nervously turned to see him as the spotlight was turned off.
"Buu...!", Hercule said.
"Some pink weirdo has entered the room.", the interviewer said.
"Mr. Satan, Buu need food.", Buu said as he walked up to him, making him nervous.
"Buu! Uh, can't this wait? I'm kinda busy here.", Hercule began.
But Buu was not very patient.
"HUNGRY NOW!", Buu shouted, spooking Hercule.
"He yelled at him? A pretty brazen move, yelling at our planet's savior.", the interviewer said.
"Maybe he's not afraid of him. Maybe he's even stronger.", another added, worrying Hercule enough to alert the others.
Fortunately, he managed to break the ice in the nick of time.
"No, it's not like that! Everyone, stay calm. There's no need to be afraid of this guy. He IS an alien, but not an invader. Truth is, he's a galactic warrior who traveled from the farthest reaches of space AND begged me to become his sensei. It was rough, at first, but now, he's my top pupil!", Hercule "explained".
"Oh, yeah. That makes sense.", the first interviewer realized.
"Don't know why I didn't guess that. Of course aliens would want Mr. Satan to teach 'em, right?", the second agreed.
Hercule sighed and then turned to Buu,"yelling" at him.
"Now, get! Go back to your training room! I'll be there soon to instruct you in the art of the Dynamite Kick!", Hercule ordered.
"Buu told you Buu hungry!", Buu argued.
"And your mighty sensei told you to WAIT IN THE BACK!", Hercule shouted.
Buu and Hercule growled at each other for a moment before smoke puffed out from the former, forcing him to back off slightly. Nevertheless, even if it was begrudgingly, Buu growled as he walked away, turned to Hercule with a glare for a moment, and then turned back while continuing on his way and closing the door behind him.
"It's amazing...! He's not just a valiant protector of the Earth. He's the greatest hero of the whole universe!", the first interviewer spoke in amazement.
Nervously, Hercule turned to the camera, chuckling a bit as he held out two fingers.
"Excuse me while I powder my nose. And go pee.", Hercule said before walking away.
A moment later, Hercule was now rubbing Buu's shoulders as the big majin pouted.
"I'm sorry, Buu. I'm sorry. Come on, don't be mad. You know I love ya. I'll make ya lots of tasty treats later and then maybe a nice bubble bath? Your favorite!", Hercule assured.
"Hungry now!", Buu responded.
"Okay, okay! Keep your cape on. I'm sure there's chocolate or something in here.", Hercule assured as he went to the pantry.
Unfortunately, when he opened it, it had anything but. And what's worse, everything fell on top of Hercule, leaving him sticking his arm out as he called out.
"Videl! Give your daddy a hand! I can't find the chocolate! VIDEEEEEEL!", Hercule called.
Meanwhile, Gohan and Videl, along with Pan (who was giggling as she held a teddy bear), were out shopping with Chi-Chi.
"I can't believe we found it. Lucky us. Pan's been wanting that for a while.", Videl grinned.
"And I still can't believe you two had to move because Gohan had to wreck the place just to look for her.
Gohan laughed a bit nervously.
"Well, I guess I was too angry to think straight. And besides, there's a good chance that someone might try to kidnap her like Barry did. Didn't want to take that risk.", Gohan explained.
"Why don't you two try moving in close to me and Goku?", Chi-Chi suggested.
"Really? Thanks.", Videl grinned.
"Well, it's the least I could do. You three have been through a lot trying to make a movie.", Chi-Chi replied.
"That's true. Thanks, Mom. I appreciate it. I'm not sure I deserve this, though.", Gohan responded
This puzzled the two.
"What's that mean?", Videl asked.
"You've been working hard on your movie last I saw.", Chi-Chi added.
"I know. But the reason Pan was kidnapped in the first place was because I hadn't kept up with my training.", Gohan responded.
"Do you have to?", Chi-Chi asked.
"Yeah. Piccolo said so himself.", Gohan responded.
"Well, there's an easy fix for that: try balancing studying with training.", Videl responded, puzzling both Gohan and Chi-Chi. "The best thing you can do is to keep on studying hard as much as training, Gohan. Then, I'll have a warrior AND a scholar as arm candy."
As Videl took Gohan's arm and ushered him forward, Chi-Chi sighed and bore a grin, thinking to herself.
"Well, Gohan's already a great scholar, anyways. And he'll help provide money not only to us, but also his own family, too. Guess my mission is complete.", Chi-Chi thought.
Then, it went to a flashback just a few days after Pan was born with Bulma and Chi-Chi present.
"What do you think, Videl? I know your daughter's part Saiyan, but how do you feel about her fighting? It's got to worry you, right?", Bulma asked.
"It's hard to say.", Videl responded. "I grew up studying Martial Arts and that's partly what drew me to Gohan."
"Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.", the two women nodded.
"It was fun for me. But I also like books and dolls and all sorts of things, too. When it comes down to it, I guess I just want her to have all the options and grow up to be whatever she wants.", Videl said.
"That sounds pretty good to me.", Bulma grinned.
Then, it went back to the present where Chi-Chi had another thought.
"Maybe I have been wound up too much about Gohan and Goten's life. I mean, they are part of Goku, and I know that even though he's an Earthling at heart, he's also a Saiyan. And for me to deny him his heritage is to make him feel like something he just simply isn't. Maybe I should become a half Saiyan. That way, I can understand him better and be a much better wife, mother, and grandmother.", Chi-Chi thought as she grinned with a bit of a giggle.
"Deal.", both Gohan and Chi-Chi said in unison.
Videl giggled as she turned to Gohan.
"Speaking of arm candy, I want something sweet. Let's try that bakery.", Videl suggested, no one knowing that Piccolo was watching with a grin, especially towards Gohan.
Meanwhile, a couple of children, one of which was a cute girl with black hair while another was a girl with brown hair, were walking home from school.
"Thank you so much for helping with our homework, Valese.", the black-haired girl thanked.
"Don't mention it, Mai. I don't know about Math, but as for writing, I know I can help you there, at least.", Valese assured.
Just then, Mai looked up in the sky and, much to her surprise, saw Goten and Trunks flying in the sky.
"Valese, look! Up there!", Mai shouted, pointing to the sky.
Then, she looked up, puzzled as she is, and saw the two boys flying in the air.
"Are these boys... flying?", Valese asked.
"HEY! YOU TWO!", Mai shouted, waving to Trunks and Goten, who both grew puzzled as they turned and saw Mai waving to them. "Can you two come down here for a second?!"
"Uh..., Goten? What just happened?", Trunks asked.
"I think we just got busted.", Goten responded.
Then, the two kids flew down towards Mai and Valese.
"You two are actually flying, right? No tricks?", Mai asked.
"Uh.., yeah. We're flying.", Trunks replied puzzledly.
"No way! That's so awesome!", Valese responded.
"Really? It is?", Goten asked, blinking.
"Uh-huh.", Valese nodded.
"And you girls aren't freaking out?", Trunks asked.
Mai shook her head in reply. Getting an idea, Trunks to Goten with a whisper.
"Hey, Goten. Maybe we could show these cute girls around a few places.", Trunks suggested.
"Are you sure, Trunks?", Goten asked.
"Yeah. Kinda like fun playdates.", Trunks responded.
"Playdate? I don't know for sure what that is, but it sounds kinda fun.", Goten grinned.
Then, Trunks turned to Mai and Valese.
"Okay. First, what are your names?", Trunks asked.
"I'm Mai.", Mai responded.
"And I'm Valese.", Valese responded.
"Nice to meet you two. I'm Trunks. And this is Goten.", Trunks greeted.
"What's up?", Goten greeted.
"We're going to a few stops along the way. You two wanna come?", Trunks asked.
"Of course we do!", Mai grinned.
"Then, you two better hold on tight.", Trunks said before Mai got on Trunks's back and held on as Valese did the same with Goten.
"Next stop, big brother Gohan's house!", Goten shouted before he and Trunks zoomed off into the sky where in the air, the girls looked around in awe.
"Wow...! You can see the whole city from up there!", Mai gasped in amazement.
"That's not all you get to see.", Trunks grinned.
"Just try not to look down, okay?", Goten warned.
Valese was a bit nervous, and she almost looked down, but instead, she just squeezed a little bit tighter, making Goten wheeze a bit.
"Mind not hugging me so tight, though?", Goten asked.
"Oh...! I'm sorry.", Valese apologized before Trunks and Mai giggled as they flew in the air.
Act II
First, Goku was out in the market as he yawned and stretched.
"Man! What a beautiful day!", Goku shouted.
Then, he looked around for someone and then stopped when he spotted someone.
"We've put out everything but the lettuce, right?", the merchant asked, putting a potato on one of the many potato bowls.
"Think so.", a young worker responded.
"Yo, pops!", Goku called, attracting the two's attention.
"I got another harvest ready. Ya wanna buy?", Goku asked, carrying boxes of vegetables.
"Oh, you bet, Goku! Your last batch flew off the shelf! I'll buy everything you've got.", the merchant responded before Goku chuckled.
A moment later, Goku was now back in the car as it started to hover.
"Thanks, man. I'll be back soon. There's a whole lot more where that came from!", Goku grinned before closing the door.
"I look forward to it, Goku. See you then!", the merchant shouted as Goku left.
When he did, he looked toward the envelope in his jacket pocket.
"Well, that worked out. I'm not too good with money, but it seems like a ton.", Goku said, thinking back on what Chi-Chi said earlier.
"Enough fighting! Go and earn some money for your family, Goku!", Chi-Chi ordered.
"This should get Chi-Chi off my back. At least for a while. And that means I could focus on training again.", Goku said to himself.
Moments later, he brought the paycheck to Chi-Chi.
"See, Goku? You see what you can accomplish when you go and earn some money for a living?", Chi-Chi asked.
"I'm glad you like it. So, uh, I was wondering if I could, you know, train with King Kai now?", Goku asked.
Normally, Chi-Chi would refuse, but then something hatched in her mind that changed her tune.
"Of course, Goku.", Chi-Chi grinned.
"Awesome!", Goku grinned.
"On one condition. Just make sure you get back in a few hours. We're having a big dinner planned to celebrate Gohan and Videl moving close by.", Chi-Chi said.
"Wait, they moved?", Goku asked before realizing something.
"Oh, yeah! Now that you mention it, it does explain why I saw them just close by.", Goku responded before it went to a flashback with Gohan, Videl, Pan, and Hercule in the new house as Goku appeared via delivery truck.
"Dad?!", Gohan asked in surprise.
"Gohan? Wait a minute, what are you three doing here?", Goku asked curiously.
"Well, our old house kinda got destroyed before Gohan went after Barry to save Pan.", Videl responded.
"So, I figured we'd kinda move here as our new house.", Gohan added.
"I'm even helping out with the move!", Hercule added.
"Sounds like you already know, then. Just don't forget, okay, Goku?", Chi-Chi asked.
"Right. See you soon.", Goku nodded before he vanished.
"Just take all the time you need, Goku. I have a surprise for ya that'll really knock your socks off.", Chi-Chi grinned.
Just then, Launch entered.
"Hello?", Launch asked.
When Chi-Chi looked, she saw Launch with her blue hair.
"Oh, hey, Launch! It's been a while!", Chi-Chi greeted.
Moments later, Goten, Trunks, Valese, and Mai were already arriving in Gohan's new home just close to Goku and Chi-Chi's own house
"This is my mom's house. What do you think, Valese?", Goten asked.
"You really live here, Goten? That looks adorable.", Valese grinned, making Goten giggle before he looked out to see not only Chi-Chi out in the balcony, but also Launch.
"Hey, Mom. Hey, Launch.", Goten greeted as he waved the door.
"Hey, Goten. How was school toda...", Chi-Chi began. Just then, she saw not only Trunks, but also Mai and Valese.
"Oh, wow! You brought friends over?!", Chi-Chi asked excitedly.
"Yeah.", Goten replied.
"Oh, they look so cute! What are their names?", Launch grinned.
"Her name is Valese and this one's Mai.", Goten introduced.
"Hello.", Mai and Valese bowed.
"Aw, it's so nice to see you two. I'm Launch. And this is Chi-Chi.", Launch greeted.
"What brings you both here?", Chi-Chi asked.
"Well, we saw Goten and Trunks flying and thought we'd see a few places before we head back home.", Mai said.
"Well, isn't that ni...", Chi-Chi began before stopping as she realized something.
"Wait. You said you saw them flying? In the air?", Chi-Chi asked.
"Uh-huh. It was really awesome!", Mai responded.
"And you two aren't... freaking out?", Chi-Chi asked.
"Why would we? It's amazing.", Valese responded.
Then, Chi-Chi sighed in slight relief.
"Of course... Why should I be surprised? They're kids. Like Goten and Trunks.", Chi-Chi thought.
"So, why did you wanna take us there first, Goten?", Valese asked.
"I wanna go check on my big brother and see how he's doing.", Goten responded.
"Oh. Well, that's not too hard. Gohan's in the other house nearby if you two wanna come inside with him.", Chi-Chi responded.
"Okay.", the two girls agreed.
Just then, Launch started to twitch.
"Ah... Ahh...!", Launch began, worrying Chi-Chi and the others.
"Uh-oh... Here we go again...", Chi-Chi groaned.
"ACHOO!", Launch sneezed, her hair turning from blue to blonde.
When she opened her eyes, she gave a distinct, aggressive look, though she seemed calm for the moment.
"Huh? Oh, hey. What's up, Chi-Chi?", Launch greeted.
"Oh, hey, there, Launch. It's great to see you.", Chi-Chi greeted back.
Mai and Valese snickered.
"Yeah, that's kind of a funny thing with Launch. Every time she sneezes, she turns into a completely different person.", Trunks explained.
Then, Launch turned to Mai and Valese.
"And you two are?", Launch asked.
This puzzled Mai and Valese for a moment.
"Uh..., I'm Mai. And this is Valese.", Mai greeted.
"Oh. Nice to meet ya. I'm Launch.", Launch introduced as she went over to the kids.
"Hi, Launch. You look pretty great when you're blonde.", Valese said.
"Really? Well, you two kids aren't bad yourselves. Take care of yourselves, kids.", Launch responded before she then left through the door.
"You take care, too, Launch.", Chi-Chi waved.
Then, the 4 kids went outside, but not before Launch did.
"Bye, Launch.", the kids waved as they then headed to the neighboring house.
Then, Chi-Chi thought of something.
"I'll go see if Bulma's on-board with something.", Chi-Chi said to herself.
Meanwhile, Videl was surprised to see the 4 kids inside the new house.
"You two brought girls with you?", inquired Videl.
"Yeah. They wanted to come with us, even after seeing us fly.", Trunks replied.
"I'm surprised they haven't freaked out.", Goten said.
"I, uh, guess that makes two of us.", Videl said.
Hercule stepped forward and felt that Future Trunks seemed a bit familiar and tried to sort it out as Gohan walked over to Videl.
"Allow me to introduce the greatest woman in the world, my wife, Videl!"
"It's great to meet you two.", Videl greeted.
"Thanks. I'm Mai.", Mai greeted.
"And I'm Valese.", Valese added.
Then, Gohan decided to introduce Videl's father to them, but Mai and Valese quickly recognized him.
"And this is her dad and infamous father-in-law."
"Mr. Satan, right?", Mai asked.
"The World's Greatest Martial Artist?", Valese added.
Frankly, Hercule was surprised to hear that.
"Well, I'll be. You two recognize me?", asked Hercule.
"Sure.", the two girls nodded.
"I get it, of course! I mean, who would forget the man who keeps saving the world?", Hercule asked.
Mai found that situation funny as it dragged on up to this point.
"Honestly, Trunks. That's enough to get me in high spirits if I ever get sad again."
Then, Videl and Gohan laughed before he decided to introduce Pan to Valese and Mai as she was drinking milk.
"And this cutey-patootey is our daughter. Say hi, Pan."
Then, Pan blinked and looked at Mai, Valese, Goten, and Trunks as the first two grew surprised.
"Hello there, Pan."
Then, baby Pan only squealed with joy before she squirted the milk onto Mai's cheek, surprising Valese, Gohan, and Videl while confounding Trunks and Goten as Pan laughed about it. Videl felt very apologetic about that fiasco before she handed a towel to Mai, who gave a smile about it earlier.
"I'm so sorry about that. I hope it didn't get in your eye.", apologized Videl.
Mai only responded with a smile as she rubbed the milk off her cheek.
"That's okay, Videl. She obviously seems very playful."
"And she seems happy.", Valese added.
Gohan then politely reprimanded her baby daughter.
"That's very naughty, Pan. You know better than that."
Then, Hercule stepped in and concurred.
"No milkey in the facey."
However, Pan only sprayed milk in Hercule's face and giggled.
"Pan, be good!", Gohan complained before he too got sprayed in the face with milk.
That left Mai and Valese puzzled even before Pan began floating in midair, puzzling them even more. Gohan and Videl then tried to get her back down.
"Pan, come down from there!", Gohan shouted.
"That isn't safe.", Videl warned.
"Whoa! She can fly, too?!", Mai and Valese gasped in awe, making Goten and Trunks laugh nervously.
"We've talked about this, Pan! You know better!", exclaimed Gohan.
"Come down, sweetie-poo!", Hercule instructed to Pan.
However, Pan still wouldn't budge, forcing Gohan to pull a move.
"Okay, if that's how you want it.", Gohan said.
Then, he and Videl each pressed a button on their hero watches before metallic armor traveled from their arms all the way up to their necks as the armor finished before a helmet then closed down, covering their respective faces as the yellow lights lit up and he became the Great Saiyaman and Great Saiyawoman once more, much to Mai and Valese's further astonishment.
"Protecting the world from naughty kids! Even the cutest one!", Videl shouted.
Then, he and Gohan did some poses before they did the finishing poses.
"Champions of justice... The Great Saiyamen!", Gohan added.
"Wow...! So, YOU'RE the real Great Saiyaman?! From the movie?!", Mai and Valese said in unison.
"Look, can you girls keep that a secret, please?", Gohan asked.
"Uh-huh.", the girls thanked before Gohan chuckled a bit.
Then, he and he leapt into the air and chased after Pan at a slightly faster pace than her as she giggled away with a milk bottle in hand.
"You're under arrest! Halt, villain baby!", Videl shouted playfully.
"Uh, what the heck's going on?", Mai puzzled.
"Dads and daughters, you know how it is.", Videl said before both Valese and Mai giggled nervously.
Then, Videl had an idea.
"Hold on, I know! Why don't you two stay for dinner? We'll have a big family meal!"
Then, just as Gohan grabbed the giddy Pan, he agreed.
"Yeah, that's a great idea! Take my word for it, guys. Videl's an amazing cook! We'll be able to celebrate our get-together AND the first day in our new house in style."
Mai found it helpful.
"Yeah. That's not a bad idea."
"I know, right?", Gohan concurred. "I need to write a report about today's conference, but that won't take long. What do you say?"
Mai and Valese, however, was hesitant.
"Uh, we really weren't planning to stay that long."
"Yeah, we need to do some homework.", Valese added.
Gohan only insisted even further.
"Come on, we're begging you! You can't say no to a baby!"
At the very mention, Mai and Valese looked at Pan, who squeaked with joy, for a few seconds before he smiled and stated his answer.
"I guess that's okay."
Pan laughed as Gohan exclaimed happily.
"All right!"
"But on one condition: can we have that dinner later tonight at Capsule Corp.?", Mai asked.
"You mean at my mom's place?", Trunks asked.
"Your mom works here?", Mai asked.
"Actually, it's more like she owns the place.", Trunks responded.
"GET OUT! She's the boss?", Mai asked.
"Yep. That's right.", Trunks grinned.
"Oh, and before I forget, could you little tykes go get some candy and bring them over to Capsule Corp. for tasty snacks and/or dessert?", Hercule asked.
"Uh, sure. Candy sounds nice.", Valese responded.
"That's great! Oh, and one more thing: if you see a big pink guy and he's awake, tell him Mr. Satan sent ya. Okay, kids?", Hercule responded.
"You got it.", Valese grinned.
"Well, in that case, next stop, Buu's house!", Goten shouted before he took off with Valese on his back.
"I just hope we don't have to fight him...", Trunks said as Mai got on his back before he took off after Goten with Mai in tow.
Little did he realized that Chi-Chi had her own ideas. In fact, she's at Bulma's house right now.
"Hold on. You want me to do what?", Bulma asked.
"To look for the 7 Dragon Balls and gather them together to make a wish.", Chi-Chi responded.
"Huh? Okay, why are you asking me to collect them?", Bulma asked.
"Look, Bulma. Remember what you said earlier?", Chi-Chi asked.
Then, it went to a flashback back when Bulma spoke to Chi-Chi while with her, Videl, and Pan.
"Chi-Chi..., I think Pan is gonna be just fine. Think of everything Gohan did and now, he's a scholar. Even Goku's got a regular job. It all works out. I think when you marry a Saiyan, you have to let life unfold in a little different way.", Bulma advised.
Then, it went back to the present.
"I thought about that, and I have a hunch that becoming a half Saiyan may be the best way I could do that.", Chi-Chi responded.
This suddenly had Bulma thrown for a loop in surprise.
"WHAT?! You actually want to become a half Saiyan?!", Bulma shouted.
"Well, not just me. I want you to join in, too.", Chi-Chi responded.
"Huh?!", Bulma asked.
"Think about it, Bulma. Don't you want to understand Vegeta?", Chi-Chi asked, puzzling her. "And aren't you the least bit jealous that he gets to stay so young while you get older and older? As a half Saiyan, you'd stop aging altogether like he did."
Bulma blushed for a moment before groaning.
"Oh, all right. We can start looking for the dragon balls.", Bulma sighed as she stood up, earning Chi-Chi's giggle.
Soon, Bulma and Chi-Chi were now collecting the 7 Dragon Balls while the boys were keeping the girls distracted; in a way. First, they found a Dragon Ball outside of West City. Then, the found the other 6 comprised of one near Goku and & Chi-Chi's house, one in Korin's tower, one in Kame House, the desert area where Goku and Vegeta first thought, one near the World Tournament Arena, and one just near Satan City on a tree. It wasn't long before they were all gathered.
"Phew...!I guess that just about covers it...", Bulma sighed.
Elsewhere, Goten, Trunks, Valese, and Mai arrived in Mr. Satan's house and snuck in. When they entered, they made their way to the kitchen and saw Buu eating some candy from the bowl.
"Oh, man... Looks like Buu's hogging it all.", Goten said.
But then, Mai and Valese stepped forward.
"Excuse us?", Valese asked.
Buu stopped for a moment and saw the 4 kids.
"Hmm? What do kids want?", Buu asked.
"Any chance you could give us some candy? We really need it for the celebration party later tonight. We need those for the dinner tonight.", Valese asked.
"Oh! And Mr. Satan sent us.", Mai added, making Buu gasp in surprise.
"Oh. Mr. Satan said you need help making food?", Buu asked.
"Mm-hmm.", the girls nodded.
"Ah. No problem. Buu help.", Buu grinned, setting the bowl down.
"Here. Little girl can have candy if you want. You can even try some.", Buu offered.
"Thanks, Buu.", Mai thanked.
"Mm-hmm.", Buu nodded, puzzling Trunks and Goten.
Nevertheless, she took some pieces, not knowing that Buu took a part of himself from his belly off him and turned it into one of the candy pieces and added it to the others with said cany piece picked up by Mai.
"Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.", Mai said before eating said candy, earning Buu's grin.
"Girl have fun now!", Buu said as Mai, Valese, Goten, and Trunks were now leaving.
"Thank you, Buu!", the 4 waved as they flew off.
As Trunks and Mai left Hercule's house, Mai felt an itch happen just above her butt. After scratching the itch, she didn't realize that a small nub appeared just above her butt and slowly grew bigger as soon, a small but slender tail slipped out from underneath her gymnasterka and swayed behind her.
Meanwhile, Chi-Chi spoke out to the Dragon Balls.
"Eternal Shenron! By your name, I summon you forth!", Chi-Chi shouted while holding her arms out.
With that, the Dragon Balls glowed and the sky darkened with ominous green clouds. Not long after, Shenron growled as he finally emerged from the dragon balls. However, it caught the attention of Goten, Trunks, Mai, Valese, Gohan, Hercule, Videl, Pan, and Piccolo respectively.
"No way...! The skies just got dark. But that means...", Trunks began before widening his eyes as he panicked.
"SOMEONE'S SUMMONING SHENRON!", Trunks shouted before speeding up with Mai struggling to hold on.
"Wait for us, Trunks!", Goten urged before he sped up just behind Trunks and Mai.
"What's going on?! And who's Shenron?!", Mai shouted in curiosity.
"I'll explain when we get there, but we have to hurry!", Trunks shouted.
As for Gohan, Videl, Pan, and Hercule, they noticed the dark clouds from outside.
"It just got dark. Could it be?", Gohan puzzled.
"Whoa...", Hercule said in slight awe.
Meanwhile, in his home, Piccolo saw the dark sky, too.
"What...? Someone's summoning Shenron? But why?", Piccolo puzzled before taking off into the air.
Back in Capsule Corp., Shenron spoke to Chi-Chi.
"I am the dragon Shenron! I shall grant you any wish. Now, speak!", Shenron bellowed.
"Okay, Shenron. Can you turn me and Bulma into half Saiyans?", Chi-Chi asked.
"As you wish. It shall be done.", Shenron responded, his eyes glowing red.
Then, the same red glow surrounded both Chi-Chi and Bulma. Suddenly, they wound up tensing as they felt their anatomies changing. First, their dainty bodies gained muscles on their arms, legs, and even their abdomen. At the same time, their hair grew wilder than before and both of them grew tails, which ripped out from the seats of their pants. What's more, while Chi-Chi's tail is brown, Bulma's tail is blue. The two humans-turned-half Saiyans panted in awe and surprise as the red glow surrounding them ceased.
"Wow... That was intense...", Bulma panted.
"Yeah... It was...", Chi-Chi agreed.
"Granted. Now, what is your second wish?", Shenron asked.
"That's nice, but we just needed the one.", Chi-Chi responded.
"Yeah. Thanks, though. We'll let you know if anything comes up for the first 2 wishes a sometime after the next 4 months, okay?", Bulma responded.
Little did she and Chi-Chi realize that Gohan, Videl, Pan, Hercule, Piccolo, Goten, Trunks, Mai, and Valese were already arriving at Capsule Corp.
"Wait. Is that both our moms?", Trunks asked.
"What are they wishing for?", Goten asked.
"Is that a big dragon?!", Mai asked with a squeak of surprise.
"Like I said, we'll explain when we get there.", Trunks said.
"But we're already here.", Mai said, making Trunks blanch a bit in surprise.
"Very well. Your one wish has been fulfilled. I bid you farewell.", Shenron spoke before he vanished.
Then, the dragon balls flew up into the air and scattered with the skies turning clear again.
"Mom, what's going on?", Goten and Trunks asked in unison, stunting the two new half-Saiyans before they turned and saw them, Mai, Valese, Piccolo, Gohan, Videl, Pan, and even Hercule, who held onto Videl from behind.
"Uh..., okay. We can explain.", Bulma began.
Meanwhile, King Kai was driving his car in his home planet.
"Doesn't get better than this. Perfect weather for a little drive. You know, when evil monsters aren't bent on destruction, life's as easy as pie. A great big easy pie and you can cut me a world 'piece'.", King Kai said before snickering as he covered his mouth.
But neither Bubbles nor Gregory were impressed.
"Why aren't you guys laughing at that?", King Kai asked. "It's funny because I took "piece of pie" and combined it with world peace even though they're spelled differently. See, we comedians call that a pun. It's the highest form of comedy which you'd know if you paid attention in your pun theory class."
Seeing no use in explaining further, King Kai decided to change his tune.
"Oh, let's change the subject and put the pedal to the metal!", King Kai said.
But it was right then that Goku suddenly appeared on the road. When he did, King Kai panicked and swerved out of the way only to crash into his house, making Goku wince in worry.
"Whoops...!", Goku said before laughing nervously.
Back on Earth, Bulma and Chi-Chi have already finished explaining.
"And that's everything.", Chi-Chi said.
"Oh. So, that's what it was all about.", Trunks realized.
"So, the Dragon Balls can actually grant 3 wishes?", Mai asked.
"That's amazing!", Valese added.
"I know, right?", Bulma agreed.
"But why did you need to turn into half Saiyans?", Gohan asked.
"And for that matter, do Goku and Vegeta know about this?", Piccolo asked.
"Well, I've been putting some thought into this. Bulma once said that when I marry a Saiyan, I have to let things unfold a little differently. I figured this'd be the best way I can be a better wife, mother, and grandmother.", Chi-Chi replied.
"I went along with it to stop aging, myself. But now, I think I'm starting to understand where Vegeta was coming from when it comes to training. Oh. Speaking of training, to answer that second question, they don't know. Vegeta's training in the gravity chamber right about now.", Bulma added.
"And Goku's away, too. At King Kai's world. Might've used this as an opportunity to turn into Saiyans while he's away, but still. You know how he gets when it comes to training.", Chi-Chi said. "Which is why I think it's best that we keep that secret to ourselves for the time being."
"Great idea. That way, we can really surprise 'em.", Bulma grinned as she and Chi-Chi hide their tails as best they can.
This left Piccolo puzzled.
"Uhhh...", Piccolo began.
"Well, I guess as long as we're all here, maybe now would be a good time to prepare a big feast for dinner tonight!", Hercule suggested.
"Oh, yeah! Can't believe we forgot about that.", Chi-Chi grinned.
"Well, everyone? Let's get started!", Bulma shouted as she raised her fist in jubilation before everyone cheered in agreement.
Moments later...
"Oh, wow! So, this is where you live, Trunks? Your family must be super rich." Mai said in shock.
"Yeah I know pretty sweet and my mom is the smartest woman in the whole world." Trunks said with pride.
As he was showing Mai around along the lines of helping to prepare said dinner, her ears began to itch the same way her butt did. Much to Trunks's surprise, her ears shook and morphed into big holes on the side of her head.
"Uh..., Mai?", Trunks asked.
"Huh? What's wrong, Trunks?", Mai asked.
"I think you need to check your ears.", Trunks warned.
"What about them?", Mai puzzled, feeling them.
But when she did, she noticed that they were no longer the same shape as they were before. Frankly, Mai was shocked and scared at the changes she had started to notice and they didn't stop there. All of a sudden Mai's pale skin started to gain a blue coloration that only deepened as she watched. Finally, her skin became a royal blue color and she started to cry.
"W-W-What's happening to me?! I'm turning into a freak, a monster!" Mai said through her sobs.
But before she could run away, Trunks stopped her by grabbing her by the wrist.
"Hey, stop that! You're not any of those things!", Trunks snapped at Mai stopping her crying.
"R-really?", Mai asked calming down a little bit.
"Yeah. Actually, if anything, you-you look kinda cute.", Trunks said in a bashful tone blushing slightly.
"I-I do?", Mai said look up at Trunks as the young hybrid Saiyan looked away.
"Y-Yeah, of course! And anyway, I think I'm way more freaky than you are." Trunks said with a laugh.
"Why's that?", Mai asked curiously.
"Well, because I'm half alien." Trunks said honestly.
"Really, like an outer space alien?" Mai asked.
"Yeah, I'm a Saiyan. Kinda like what my mom is now. And not just any Saiyan, either. I'm a prince." Trunks said while standing proudly.
"Wow, that's so cool." Mai said, her eyes twinkling with excitement and wonder.
"You know, if you want, I can show you some cool tricks and even teach them to you, if you want.", Trunk said almost boasting at his own abilities.
"That'd be super cool! Thank you!", Mai said jumping to hug Trunks who returned the hug.
As this happened, the last of Mai's changes happened as the black color of her hair was bleeding away into a pure white color. Trunks saw this and was in awe for a moment. But then, he gave a light grin, seeing how happy Mai is.
"Oh. And do you think you can teach me how to fly sometime, Trunks?", Mai asked.
"And me, too?", Valese added.
"Uh, sure. I guess if there's time.", Trunks grinned, making Mai giggle.
Just then, Bulma spoke up, her hair now looking normal again.
"Okay, everyone! That should be it for now! Thanks for all your help, really! Now, it's gonna be about an hour or so before food's ready. So, you can all just do whatever and be sure to come back here later if you wanna take part in the feast.", Bulma announced.
"Okay!", everyone responded.
"Oh, Goku, you better not miss this one.", Chi-Chi said to herself.
Meanwhile, at King Kai's place, Goku was having a sort of medium-sized rice bowl and a rice cake while King Kai was fixing his house and Bubbles was surveying the damage to one of the car's headlights and Gregory was bouncing on the broken hood of the car like a seesaw.
"What were you thinking?! Who jumps in front of a Kai on a joyride? Seriously!", King Kai grumbled.
"Yeah, my bad, I'm sorry. But, hey. It's not that big of a problem, right? Can't you just use your powers to fix your car and house faster?", Goku asked.
"Of course! But fixing them by hand kills the time and gives me somethin' to gripe about-I mean-it's something I enjoy because I believe in hard work. Yeah.", King Kai fibbed before standing up. "But I digress. Why are you here, Goku?"
"What? Why do you think?", Goku asked as, having eaten the rice bowl, he was eating his rice cake.
"Don't talk with your mouth full! It's rude AND it's a choking hazard!", King Kai warned.
Just then, Goku finished his rice cake.
"There. That oughta tide me over for a bit before the feast back home.", Goku said before standing up.
"Don't worry. There's no trouble. I came here to train a bit, that's all. Your world's gravity is 10 times stronger than Earth's, remember? I can't think of a better place in the universe to build some serious muscle!", Goku explained, only earning King Kai's groaning.
"Hm? You don't sound happy.", Goku said.
"Of course I'm not. Why would I be happy that a Saiyan is using my sacred world as his own workout gym? And let me guess, you'll want room and board with that, too?", King Kai responded.
"Yeah, sure. That sounds great! Come on, King Kai. You act like we're not pals or somethin'.", Goku said.
"HEY! Maybe you forgot because of my disarming sense of humor, but I'm a pretty major deal! I'm way higher than a guardian and you wouldn't have talked to Kami like this!", King Kai shouted.
But Goku only chuckled.
"I'm gonna jump to it, all right?", Goku asked, walking away.
"HEY! Change your clothes, at least, before you help clean up the mess you made! You look like you're on safari or something!", King Kai shouted.
"Aw, why?", Goku groaned as he stopped.
"BECAUSE I'M NOT YOUR MAID, GOKU!", King Kai shouted.
Back on Earth, Mai and Valese were dropped off to the former's home by Goten and Trunks. It seemed just as grand as Bulma's house if not half that much, at least.
"Wow. So, this is where you two live?", Trunks asked.
"Mm-hmm.", Mai nodded.
"Your house kinda looks nice, actually.", Trunks said.
"Well, thank you.", Mai thanked, winking to the young boy.
"Don't mention it.", Trunks responded.
Then, Valese knocked on the door.
"Hello?", Valese asked.
Then, the door opened, revealing a sort of elderly couple.
"Oh, good afternoon, Valese. What brings you here today?", the old man asked.
"Well, you see, Grandpa... I don't know how, but something happened to Mai.", Valese explained.
"What? It's not too serious, is it?", the old woman asked.
"Well, it's not too bad, at least, Grandma. But it IS definitely strange. You should go see for yourself.", Valese suggested.
"Uh..., hi.", Mai waved nervously, cautiously stepping forward.
Needless to say, upon taking a look at Mai, the elderly couple widened their eyes in shock.
"MAI?! IS THAT REALLY YOU?!", the two shouted in unison.
"Uh..., yeah. That's me.", Mai responded.
The old man then hurriedly picked Mai up, surprising the little alien girl.
"I don't know how it was possible, but I can't believe how much cuter you got now than the last time. I mean, you were a cute angel before, but you're practically a mini-goddess! Except without the angelic wings and all that, but still!", the old man said.
"Really?", Mai asked in wonder.
"Yes. Your hair even turned as white as snow.", the old woman added.
"Really? It did?", Mai asked, noticing her hair color change.
"See? Told ya you're cute.", Trunks responded.
"Aw.", Mai beamed.
"Well, time to help with your homework, Mai.", Valese said.
"Oh, yeah. That's right. Thanks so much, guys. See you later.", Mai waved before closing the door.
"Uh, yeah. See you later, Mai.", Trunks said before he and Goten took off.
"That was odd. I didn't think that Mai could turn into an alien like that.", Goten said.
"I don't mean to point fingers, but something tells me Buu had something to do with that.", Trunks guessed.
Later, on King Kai's planet, Goku panted as he practically collapsed.
"There you go! Now, it's looking all spick and span again.", King Kai grinned.
"Whew...! About time...", Goku said before his stomach growled.
"Oh. And not a moment too soon...! All this cleaning up worked up quite an appetite! I wonder if that feast is ready back on Earth yet.
Then, using Instant Transmission, Goku vanished from King Kai's planet before then arriving back on Earth in time to see everyone gathered for the feast, let alone how piping hot the food is.
"All right! I came here just in time!", Goku grinned.
"There you are, Goku! And I thought you weren't gonna show up on time.", Chi-Chi said in amazement, prompting Goku to turn to Chi-Chi and Bulma.
"Though, I guess it's for the best. After all, you don't normally want food to run cold.", Bulma guessed.
"Huh? Something seems different with you two.", Goku said, blinking his eyes for a moment.
Hearing that worried the two secret half-Saiyans before they both giggled nervously.
"Whatever do you mean?", Chi-Chi asked.
Goku looked closer at the two and gave a serious look.
"Chi-Chi.", Goku said, worrying her as he looked serious.
But suddenly, just as quickly, Goku gave a cheerful tone.
"Don't just sit there, dig in!", Goku offered, puzzling the two for a moment before their stomachs growled.
"Well, my stomach is growling up a storm anyway.", Chi-Chi said.
"Yeah. Mine, too.", Bulma added.
So, as everyone ate, Trunks Goten was introduced to Mai's two friends: a sort of blue demon with pointy ears and a dog wearing a ninja suit with a sword.
"I gotta say. You both are really great friends.", Trunks said.
"Really? You guys think so?", the dog asked.
"Yeah. You're a talking dog and a talking monkey. How can you not be great friends?", Trunks said.
"Hey! I'm not a monkey, I'm Pilaf!", Pilaf reacted, taking Trunks aback as Mai and Valese giggled a bit while the grandparents watched.
"They sure do look happy with those new friends she found, don't they?", Valese's grandfather asked.
"That's right. They sure do.", Valese's grandmother agreed.
Meanwhile, Goten spoke with Goku and Chi-Chi about the day's events.
"You and Trunks did a really good thing, Goten. I'm sure you both made their day.", Goku grinned, making Goten grin.
"So, what's their house like?", Chi-Chi asked.
"It's almost as big as this place!", Goten grinned.
"Wow, really?", Chi-Chi asked, earning her child's nod.
Just then, Hercule walked up to both Goku, Chi-Chi, and Goten.
"Hey, there! Great to see ya, Goku!", Hercule said.
"Hey.", Goku and Chi-Chi greeted in unison.
"Did you two happen to see the news today?", Hercule asked.
"No. I don't watch TV.", Goku whispered in reply.
"We don't even have one at home.", Chi-Chi added.
"All right, then I'll tell ya. I got an award today. Grand Prize, in fact, from the World Peace Assembly, for saving the Earth from certain doom.", Hercule said.
"You don't say.", Goku said.
"Yeah. You might remember how it kinda got around that I saved the world from Armageddon. Well, that's what it's for. And the prize money is, uh, substantial. 100,000,000 Zeni.", Hercule responded.
Hearing this was enough to shock the trio in various reactions.
"100,000,000 ZENI!", Goku, Goten, and Chi-Chi shouted before Hercule shushed them.
Goku and Goten covered their mouths in response while Chi-Chi just blushed.
"Uh..., sorry about that. Please continue.", Chi-Chi said before Hercule sighed.
"The point is, you're the only one who really deserves this dough. So I'm handin' it over.", Hercule said, picking up the briefcase and holding it up.
"Whoa, whoa, I can't accept that!", Goku exclaimed.
"Come on, don't be silly. You earned it, brother!", Hercule urged, moving the briefcase closer to him only for Goku to try to push it back.
"No, seriously, I'm fine! I wasn't the only one fighting him. You did your part, too, in your own way.", Goku said.
"But I already got too much money to count! B'sides, Vegeta said no, too. Heh. But of course, that guy's married into the richest family on Earth.", Hercule said as meanwhile Vegeta was nearby looking over to see Trunks with Mai as they sat next to each other with Mai giggling a bit as he handed her a small macaron.
Of course, Vegeta didn't seem too pleased at first before he then suddenly gave a smirk of his own with a slight scoff.
"Hold on, how much is 100,000,000 Zeni? Is that more than 100,000?", Goku asked.
"Huh? Well, yeah, of course! Let's see, it's, uh, it's a thousand times more, in fact?", Hercule responded.
Goku was very shocked by the amount.
"Aah! A thousand times more than a hundred thousand?! Well, now I really don't want it! Where would I put it?! I don't have a treasure cave!", Goku asked.
"I don't even know what to say! With this money, we can afford any school we want for Goten! And lots of private tutors and anything else he needs! It's a dream...!", Chi-Chi said in surprise.
"Uh, I think you should take it, Dad.", Goten advised, puzzling Goku.
"If you come home with all of that money, then Mom won't worry about you having a job. So, you could go train with King Kai.", Goten advised.
"You think so?", Goku asked excitedly. "But it's so much..."
"Well, actually, I think I might know of a way to sweeten the deal. Take the money and I'll go with you to train as your own sparring partner."
"Really? You'd offer that much?", Goku asked in slight surprise.
"Well, since you had a slice of modern human life, I think it's only fair if I get a slice of Saiyan life, too. Metaphorically speaking.", Chi-Chi said, puzzling Goku.
"Come on, Goku. Listen to your family and take the cash. I swear it won't bite.", Hercule grinned.
Goku groaned for a moment before he turned to Chi-Chi.
"So, you swear you'll come along as my training partner?", Goku asked.
"I may need to change some clothes, first, but yeah.", Chi-Chi responded eagerly.
Confused with this change of pace as he was, Goku decided to take the money as per Hercule's advice.
"Fine. I'll take it. We could use the money. So, you're sure you don't want it?", Goku said, finally taking the money.
Hercule nodded in reply.
"Well, okay. Thank you.", Goku said, taking the briefcase.
"Yeah! That's a relief! Now, uh- I hate askin' for something in return, but-can you keep this on the low-down? I got a reputation to protect.", Hercule requested, puzzling both mother, father, and younger son alike as they turned to each other.
Meanwhile, Beerus and Whis gazed upon the supernova wrought by the explosion of a planet as the former growled softly.
"Others might see this explosion as something foul. But in my eyes, there is nothing more beautiful than a shattering planet.", Beerus commented.
"Are you sure that was wise? What if the meat could have helped you?", Whis asked.
But Beerus lightly grumbled in response.
"It's... no longer required."
"Oh. Is that so?", Whis asked.
"Yes. I planned for the punch of flavor to jog my sleepy mind, but it's this full-bodied explosion that's done the trick. Now, I see him clearly: the ultimate fighter, waiting to be awoken. His power will keep me suitably entertained...! Now, the image has a name.", Beerus smirked.
"Then, by all means, let's hear it.", Whis requested.
"What was it? It starts with an 'S', I know that much. A Super... something, I think. YES! A Super Saiyan God!", Beerus stated.
"A Super Saiyan God? Are you sure?", Whis asked.
"I think. Or is that wrong? And now, I'm forgetting it again. That's the trouble with visions: they're too slippery.", Beerus said.
"Apparently so. Well, I wouldn't strain your mind too much about it. Why don't we go back and get you fed?", Whis suggested.
"You don't have to ask me twice!", Beerus grinned.
"All right, then. Hold on.", Whis said, tapping his staff before he and Beerus dashed away from the ruined planet in a bright rainbow-like beam of light.

NEXT TIME ON "DRAGON BALL SUPER"...!
First, it showed Goku and Chi-Chi, now in her outfit from the last World Tournament she participated in before they left and arrived on King Kai's planet, spooking the Kai with the latter giving him enough assurance to get him happy again. Then, it showed Vegeta, Bulma, Trunks, Mai, and her two friends arriving at sort of resort and exploring it before later hanging out at Capsule Corp, even going into the training room. As Trunks, and even Goten trained as Gohan and Bulma watched, Mai and Valese seemed impressed as Bulma passed by previously, seemingly puzzled by how Mai appeared familiar to her as she pictured Mai from when she first saw her back as a teen. Vegeta was shown to be scowling at the two boys, though, before said scowl became a smirk and later, the two were now doing intensive training as Mai and Valese, as impressed as they are, grew worried before the two were seeing sparring in normal form before later going Super Saiyan, much to the two girls' surprise as well as Bulma's before then showing Goten and Trunks staring each other down as well as the two later preparing to stand against Vegeta, who began to bellow with the two girls, Bulma, and Gohan looking on in slight worry, especially with Gohan going ultimate in anticipation with his white aura erupting as he tensed.
Goku: "Hey, it's me, Goku! Guess what? Vegeta's going on family vacation! I know Bulma and Trunks are happy, but can the Saiyan Prince avoid a resort meltdown? And while he's riding tiny trains, we'll be busy training!"
Chi-Chi: "Sorry if it causes too much damage, King Kai, but I'm not pulling any punches!"
Goku: "Wow, Chi-Chi! You're really that strong?! I can't believe it! Next time on 'Dragon Ball Super'! 'To the Promised Resort!; Vegeta Takes a family trip'?! I don't think you'll wanna miss THAT disaster."

A/N: And there you have it! Not only have Bulma and Chi-Chi turned into half Saiyans, but Mai wound up turning into a cute, blue-colored Majin kid and we even get a look at Valese's grandparents! Pretty great surprise, huh?
