"Where is it?" Felix dug through a box of things in the attic. "What are you looking for?" Dussu asked. "My old chess board. Adrien looks like he could use some cheering up since Marinette's away."

Felix's fingers curled around a sheet of paper. "What's this?" he asked aloud, pulling the paper out carefully. The paper was a bit old and yellowing, but the words were still clear: Twins by chance, friends by choice. Felix chuckled. "What's so funny?" Dussu settled herself on his shoulder. "I made this when I was younger. Sure, Adrien is my cousin but he's like my brother. When we were younger, we did everything together."

Felix smiled, memories coming back. They loved pulling pranks on their parents, especially the switch-a-roo prank. The boys were almost identical, and usually the plan worked brillantly. Felix had wanted to be a magician when he was younger, and Adrien would be his best audience even when Felix messed up the trick, or dropped the cards. They were there for each other when Aunt Emile had gotten sick. It was a hard time for both boys.

"Come on, let's go show Adrien," Felix told Dussu. Felix found Adrien and Plagg playing video games. "Look what I found in the attic," Felix annouced, waving the small piece of paper. Plagg gasped. "A old coupon to Leo's Cheese Store?" "No, Plagg. Here, Adrien."

Adrien took the paper, smiling as he looked at the crude drawing of himself and his cousin when they were younger. "Even back then, you were my best buddy," he told Felix as his cousin perched on the edge of the couch. "I know their were times you wanted to make me disappear with your magic wand, but we always forgave each other." "I know Bugaboo is your best friend now, but I'll always be here for you." Adrien sniffled quietly. "Best Cousins forever?" They bumped fists.

"Since I couldn't find the chess board, want to go to Marinette's as Cat and Argos and go for ice cream? I'll treat." Adrien nodded, smiling. "Don't you want to pick up Kagami on the way there?" "Can't we make a quick detour to the cheese store?" Plagg whined.

The boys laughed, then transformed.

Yeah, Best Cousins forever, Adrien thought. He liked the sound of that.
