The Joker doesn't survive a point blank explosion

"Just where do you think you're going? Huh?!" shouted Joker

As another burst of machine gun fire came forth from the rifle in his hand.

Bullets whizzed past Bane, as firing a fully automatic rifle one handed wasn't a recommended way of killing someone.

Though whether missing that was intentional on the Jonkler's part was something ambiguous.

Of course, the bullets had to go somewhere, and they hit the chopper.

Striking steel, reinforced glass and other sections of the chopper.

With a grunt, Bane jumped onto the jumper. A loyal follower already holding a Anti-Armor Weapon in his hands.

With a nod and quick thank you in his native language to the follower. Bane turned around, smiling and chuckling towards the Jonkler.

Jonkler's eyes widened, dropping the gun, an expression of shock on his face.

….only for it to turn into a signature grin again, he bowed with flair.

Bane rolled his eyes.

He fired.

Batman watched from the sidelines, having dodged to this area to avoid the machine gun fire from the G.C.P.D choppers (enough to bisect a man or turn one into a red mist in a single burst).

His eyes widened.

He pulled out his Batclaw.

Aiming.

Firing.

To pull the Jonkler out of the blast.

Jonkler saw.

He raised a singular green eyebrow at that.

Then he no longer could.

BOOOMMMMMMMMM

The fiery inferno from the explosion absorbed the Joker, if he was still alive, he'd joke about how lucky anyone would be if they even found a piece of clothing for his casket.

There wouldn't be any.

"ARGH!"

Batman shouted from the shockwave of the blast, knocking him off the Panorama of the Royal.

In a daze, he aimed his Batclaw at Bane's chopper.

He fired.

It stuck, and now he was being dragged by the Chopper to (hopefully in Batman's case) Bane's H.Q.

Later on he would regret not being able to save Jonkler, though, indifferent to his death.

He was compassionate, but not insane.

He mused.

Alas, ended Jonkler.
