Neal arrived at Steadfast a whole five minutes before Kel did. Granted he had been pushing his horse so fast that Kel was honestly surprised the horse didn't drop dead.

When Kel made it too Steadfast, Neal was already embracing Yuki and Lord Roaul was waiting for Kel's arrival. As soon as she had swung off Peachblossom, she was enveloped in a bear hug.

"Kel! So glad you could make it. I mean you are my best man, after all. Oh, also, Lalasa sent some dresses with Yukimi for you, one for the wedding, one for the after party and one for the rehearsal dinner tonight." Lord Roaul finished and let Kel go.

Neal couldn't help piping in after he heard that Kel was going to have to wear a dress, "Kel? Wear a dress? Good luck to you. Although I guess, if you can get her to believe that it reminds everyone that she is female, then she might just do it." Neal ended this comment with another laugh.

"Very funny Nealan, as you may recall, I actually asked Lalasa for the dresses before we left. All mine are now nothing but ashes. Although I don't know why I thought I would need them."

"Good point, Kel. Lord Roaul, do you happen to know where my dear cousin is? He said he would see us when we got here, but I don't see him." Neal said while looking around the main area of the camp.

"Right here, Dearest Meathead. I just had to finish my watch duty. How are you guys? It's been a while." Dom said walking up and giving Neal, then Kel a hug.

At hearing Dom's voice and feeling his arms around her, Kel's heart started doing what felt like summersaults in her stomach. "Nothing much, just rebuilding a refugee camp in the middle of a war. What pranks have you been pulling? Actually, on second thought, I don't know if I want to know." Kel said back, when her heart calmed down.

"Come now, I'll show you too your rooms." With that Roaul slung an arm around each of their shoulders and more or less drug them to the barracks.

"So, we don't have a lot of extra room here and the few fancy people who are coming to the wedding, get the suites. You two, will be staying in the Own's barrack next to my room a Sargeant Domitan's. This is to ensure that the least number of pranks get pulled on you. Neal yours is on the right, Kel yours is on the left. I'll leave you both to get ready for the rehearsal that is in two bells. Don't be late!" And with that Roaul left Neal and Kel in front of two identical doors.
