Title: The One Knee Night

Summary: MacGyver had finally man-upped to plan the night, to make the choice, pick the ring and get on one knee to ask Riley to marry him.

A/N: In this series I will be sharing a couple ideas from deep imagination that I'm not sure if I like yet, of what MacGyver and Riley's relationship could have been since I know a lot of the fandom loves it.

After Bozer and Leanna's wedding MacGyver finally man upped enough to make the date, set the plan and get on that one knee. Riley had seen it coming every since Mac had made his mind to get the ring. Riley can read his mind like a open book, maybe that's why they work so well together.

He first planned too -since they had been busy and he knew he would back down if he didn't do it soon- just bring her to the back porch and maybe candles or something? Untillll Jack kept going on about how she deserves so much, and that she is such a treasure, and you know his right, so that's where Bozer came in. If anyone knows how to set a romantic arrangement Bozer would be the guy, and glad to help, and that's exactly what he did.

They agreed the house wasn't good enough, so Bozer found this rooftop fancy restaurant that he somehow made a offer good enough with his smooth talking that we got it all to are selfs for a night. Bozer did his thing and made it even more romantic with flowers candles and he of course made the food and left before they got there. MacGyver wanted it to only be the two of them for the big moment.

Riley was told they were going somewhere fancy to eat and she didn't really think anything of it, she put on a new dress for the occasion, a dark wine red dress, that ended above her knees with the long tight sleeves, laying off the shoulders, with shiny hoop earrings to match her heels. MacGyver must have stood at her door for at least forever in his all black perfectly fitted, charming suit looking at the women he wants to spend forever with, the one he will ask tonight to spend life with... officially.

The doubt set in as they pulled up to the restaurant, 'will she say no, is this really what she wants?' Riley snapped him out of the thought as she spoke with a smirk "Where are we going Mac?" He kept his eyes on the parking lot with a smile as he parked near the stairs that led to the candle light rooftop.

They held hands as they walked up the stairs, Riley in deep suspense smiled at MacGyver expression of pure excitement and nervousness, at that moment Riley knew this wasn't just any night that Mac must have had great plans for all this.

They made it to the top with romantic music meeting there ears. Riley's eyes looked over the beautiful table in the middle of the rooftop city view, that MacGyver knew Riley would love so much that he even fought the thought of heights for it. Her eyes quickly met MacGyver's then she took a look around with a slight spin as she said "this is beautiful, mannn, this really is nice Mac." Her eyes got wider as she seen the table with the iron steel pots "What's that?" She said with a cheeky smile when MacGyver replied "You want to find out?" Riley admittedly steps to the table as she says "Yess, I'm starving!" Then they both laughed.

MacGyver poured them both a drink and they filled their plates with delicious Chef Bozer's Italian dish then there stomachs quickly after with great laughter filled conversations in between. Then there came the nerves again, 'the ring did I forget the ring, no no it's all here.'

Riley walked to the edge to take a closer look at the beautiful LA city light view, she looked back as she waited for Mac, as he met her side and grabbed her hand as he looked over the half tall stone wall that got real short once the height got real tall. Riley let out a slight chuckled as she seen his face "It's beautiful... all of this is, it's really been a good night." She says as she expects and waits, she even hopes for his one knee stance, MacGyver instead responded with a flattering remark looking into her eyes grabbing both hands "I still only want to look at you, and you know not just because of my fear of height." They both chuckle, with a slight anxiousness to their tones.

After what felt like a whole hour of silence Riley laughed as MacGyver anxiously wiggled his hands into his pockets and looked down "Mac, I think there was something you wanted to ask me" She leans into his eyes and adds with a soothing soft tone "Right?" MacGyver nervously chuckles as he strains out a "yeah.." though his teeth, he has never been one with words, but here we go.

He slowly gets on one knee as he cups the ring box in his hands, looks up at the huge smile on Riley's beautiful face and says "Riley Davis, i... your something I know I can't live without, I can't even go a day without you, your always on my mind and you always seem to know my mind, which will never not amaze me... I had a speech I have rehearsed but, that actually was not even on it.." he says looking down at his still cupped sweating hands.

Riley laughed with such love then MacGyver brought his eyes back to her with a deep inhale following "Riley Davis... Riles, will you spend eternity on earth with me?" She brings him eye level and says "Of course I will Mac." As she draws him into a kiss with hands around his neck. She rest her wrist on his shoulders looking into his eyes as he brings the ring box in the middle of them opening it he gently brings her left hand down and puts the silver band ring with a shiny diamond on her finger. A tear escapes her brown eyes as she laughs tears of joy bringing him into a hug with her left arm reached out behind them taking in the beautiful engagement diamond ring put on her finger.

They swayed to the music the rest of the night as they both soaked in the tears that had fell down there faces. Riley made sure to get a selfie for Jacks appreciation. They faced timed Bozer and Leanna to share the excitement before MacGyver had to dropped Riley back off at her house.
