Squidward trudged through the jungle, his tentacles aching. It hadn't been long since he had begun his solo trek, but he was already wishing he had stayed behind with the others.

"This was supposed to be the place where I would write the greatest movie in the 7 seas, but instead I'm going on a suicide mission to save a damn squirrel from a giant sea-ape. Typical."

The octopus's complaining was cut short when he noticed something. The colossal corpse of the Squidasaurus Rex, blood bubbling from its mouth. Squidward asked himself,

"What kind of savage beast would kill such a beautiful creature like this?"

He then noticed a distraught mother snail monster picked from it, looking for remnants of its eggs. It then noticed Squidward, and charged at him angrily. Squidward, panicking, tore a sharp branch off a tree and threw it at the snail monster, impaling it in the wing. It floated down, twitching and spasming in pain.

Squidward then walked up to it, gripping the spear in its wing. As he pulled it out, he used the force of his pull to stomp 2 of his legs down onto the creature's neck, putting it out of its misery. He continued walking towards the Rex carcass, but stopped when he realized what he would have to do to make it through.

He sighed, inhaling and throwing up a little in his mouth.

"Ooohh, it's so…unsanitary."

Plugging his nose at the horrible stench steaming out of the corpse, Squidward held his breath and walked through the tar-like blood, soaking his "feet." When he finally got out, he threw up all over the ground, and after he was done he yelled,

"I'll never be clean again!!!"

Regardless, Squidward began moving again, now even more eager to get Sandy and get off this damn deathtrap of an island.

Meanwhile, Sandy and Kong were getting closer and closer to Kong's home, Sandy now riding Kong like he was a horse and yelling,

"Get along, little monkey!"

The landscape around them gradually became less jungle and more rocky as Kong reached further to his home, the tallest mountain of the island. Eventually, Kong took a break in a cave not too far from his own personal "room."

The cave had a few rock formations, bubbling tar pits, and the skeletal remains of Kong's species, the Sea Apes. Kong put Sandy down atop a large mountain-like rock formation, as Squidward snuck up from below. However, Kong then turned and bent down, causing Squidward to hide further behind a large jagged rock formation he entered behind.

Squidward looked and saw to his shock Kong looking down at a tiny bright flower that had grown in all the beige and black. He bent down and with his pinky out he picked it as delicately as he could, bringing it up to his nose to sniff it. However, as Kong was picking the flower, from out of the tar slithered a sewer snake that slunked its way up the rock formation towards Sandy.

When Sandy noticed this, she put her back to the wall and screamed in shock. However, she quickly regained her composure and leaped on the Sewer snake, attempting to choke it out. But from the moment Sandy screamed, Kong was broken out of his trance as he looked up, saw the danger, and dropped the flower in the tar.

Squidward peaked out from behind his rock and noticed the flower sink into the inky blackness. Kong grabbed the sewer snake, which attempted to wrap its long body around him. The Sewer snake tightened its grip, with Kong trying desperately to tug and pry it off. The beast even took a bite out of Kong's neck, and that jolted him to tug even harder, with him eventually getting it off and smashing it up against the hard, jagged rocks.

To finish it off, Kong wringed it and twisted its body like a wet towel, liquifying its organs before it went limp. The mighty ape then roared, lifting his defeated foe up and twirling it around like a lasso before throwing it into the tar, which began to absorb the dead creature. Squidward, who had witnessed the whole thing, didn't know what to think of Kong now.

Back at the wall, Spongebob, Patrick and Mr Krabs had finally made it back to the wall. Upon seeing it, Spongebob was overcome by emotion and clinged to his boss, balling his eyes out. Mr Krabs's first instinct was to push Spongebob off, but he stopped himself.

"Ah, lad. I should never have brought ye here. A place like this is no place for you."

The crustacean allowed his frycook to cry in his arms until Coralhorn walked up to him and asked,

"Where are the others?"

Krabs freed himself from Spongebob's grip and replied,

"Dead. Except fer 2. But when they return, they won't be alone."

Back at the rocky mountain, Kong was sitting at his "throne", watching the sunset with Sandy. It had started to get dark and a fog had rolled in. Sandy was sitting slightly behind Kong, observing him. He was staring at the bones of a deceased member of his species. Sandy thought to herself,

'The last of his kind…I can't imagine how lonely that must be.'

Sandy noticed this sink in, and saw Kong pick up a bone and begin to rock it back and forth rhythmically, getting more and more aggressive as his eyes watered and it began to rain. He eventually tossed the bone away and let out a pain filled roar, beating his chest as lighting illuminated the moment like the flash of a camera. Sandy looked at the great beast in pity, and he solemnly shook his head and made his way back to his cave.

Just then, Kong noticed a rock falling in his peripheral vision, and made his way to look. It was Squidward making his way towards Sandy. The terrified squid realized that he was trapped. If he moved Kong would see him, and all Kong could do was reach behind the rock with his massive hands and catch him. The octopus thought to himself,

'So this is how I die. Devoured by a giant sea-ape. There goes my dreams of ever making it big in the world."

However, as Kong was inspecting the rock, Sandy was sitting down, processing all that had gone on in such a short space of time. But all of a sudden, a pack of flying snail monsters descended onto the ledge as one of them picked her up with its feet. As soon as Kong heard Sandy scream, he leaped into action and began fighting off the snail monsters. He grabbed one out of the air and smashed it to the ground, while the other attempted to peck at him.

Sandy was dropped by one of the snail monsters, which was then knocked out of the sky by a saw from Kong, with Sandy landing on the mountain further back towards the cave. Squidward quickly realized that Kong was distracted and swooped in, running towards Sandy and grabbing her arm. Shocked, she asked him,

"Squidward?! What In tarnation are you doing here?!"

However, Squidward wasn't in the mood for conversation, yelling,

"We gotta go! Now!"

He began running, dragging Sandy with him and heading to the edge of the mountain, which had a huge rope-like vine that went downward. Sandy asked the panicking Squidward,

"Why ain't we going back the way we came?!"

"Are you crazy?! If we go that way, that beast will crush us into a fine paste!"

As they ran, Kong ripped one of the snail monster's wings off, throwing it to the side as it fell like a jet fighter succumbing to air and gravity. Seeing this happen to one of their own, the other snail monsters fled. It was now pouring as lightning struck more and more and thunder rolled. Kong then looked around, not being able to find Sandy anywhere until he noticed the rope-like vine jiggling and moving and being tugged on.

He ran over and looked down to see that Sandy was leaving. Now pissed and feeling betrayed, Kong roared, grabbing the vine and pulling them up. In a last ditch effort, Sandy grabbed Squidward and jumped into a lake leading to a stream, letting the current take them for a while. Eventually, Sandy grabbed onto a stray branch and pulled them up. Kong was right on their tails, so Sandy hauled a screaming Squidward over her shoulder and ran.

Sandy eventually reached the wall, instinctively registering as a safepoint. However, Krabs had other plans. One of the sailors keeping watch on the wall yelled to the crew,

"The squirrel and Tentacles are coming in!"

They quickly opened the gates and Sandy ran through. She then dropped Squidward to the ground, who yelled,

"CLOSE THE GATE!"

Mr Krabs protested this, saying,

"Who's the captain around here?! Keep that gate open, men!"

"DON'T LISTEN TO HIM, SHUT IT!"

The sailors greatly preferred the option where they would most likely survive, and quickly went to close the gate. All the commotion attracted the natives to come out of their homes. When the chief saw the struggle to close the gate, he immediately understood what was happening and yelled to his fellow tribesmen and women,

"Shibar ya tuka un I ban Tupa!"

In english he was saying "Close the gate!" The natives all ran out and also tried to close them. However, Kong had arrived. He banged and knocked on the giant gate, shooting many of those trying to close it onto their backs. Kong then began to push with all of his might, and the gate began to splinter. Krabs continued yelling at the sailors,

"Keep closing it, men!"

However, it was all for naught as the gate doors flew open, revealing King Kong in all his glory. Natives and sailors fled as Krabs looked up in shock and terror. He briefly wondered if what he had done was the right choice.
