Hello and welcome to my second experimental fanfic of Power Rangers, in which a new inspiration popped into my head in an unexpected way, and I'm sure you'll be baffled as to what made me come up with an experimental and risky fanfiction I wrote, so below is the explanation on why.

This started two weeks ago when I was surfing on my smartphone and came across a Facebook post which featured a video about what's supposed to be a PILOT episode for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and there it featured Japanese clips from Choudenshi Bioman, while mixed with American footages of American actors.

Out of curiosity I did a research on YouTube and found out that Decades ago, sometime before 1990, Saban was on a business trip on an airplane and happened to catch a glimpse of an episode of Bioman, though at that point in wasn't sure if Bioman was aired in Japanese audio or using the Philippine English dub, but Saban was impressed enough that he came up with the idea of mixing the Japanese action scenes mixed with American actors, and tried pitching it with various TV stations with no success, but by 1992 Fox TV was receptive to this but suggested to Saban to try using a different series as Bioman was ALREADY DATED which Saban reluctantly agreed and was considering in using footages of Choujin Sentai Jetman before settling for Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger.

After watching the short American PV of Bioman I was relieved that it didn't get adapted because it would, in my opinion, get ruined, and inspired myself I thought of something like "what if the Power Rangers meet Bioman?" and there the idea sticks in and decided to try this out and see where this goes.

In terms of plot, here's the breakdown on how and where this would take place:

Continuity and Placement:

- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: takes place after episode 63

- Bioman: takes place after episode 34

Ch. 1: Prologue

The scene shifts at Angel Grove where a situation is taking place, where the Power Rangers are taken by surprise when a new evil arrived on Earth, who is more powerful than Rita Repulsa, and there Zordon summoned the Rangers, Jason Lee Scott, Zack Taylor, Billy Cranston,. Trini Kwan, Kimberly Hart, and Tommy Oliver to the command Center and the six teenagers debriefed by Zordon and Alpha 5 about the new threat in the form of Lord Zedd.

"…and that's the situation at the moment."

"Ah-ya-ya-yay-yay! What bad timing!"

"So then…"

"Rita's out…"

"And this Zedd guy's worse than Rita…?"

"No way…"

"Oh dear…"

"Damn it…"

After some undetermined amount of time Lord Zedd made his move and created a monster identified as Pirantishead, and it appeared somewhere within the desert-like area within Angel Grove.

The six teenagers went there and transformed into Power Rangers and confronted the monster, but finds out that he is more powerful than the previous monsters created by Rita, and there they hastily summoned the Dinozords, but Pirantishead demonstrated his power by freezing four of the five Zords in place, shocking the Rangers.

"Ha-ha…got them!"

"No way!"

"Our Zords!"

"He froze our Zords!"

"Wait! Jason's Zord is still moving!"

"Okay, let's do this!"

"Before fish-face might strike!"

"Right!"

Although the other Zords are frozen, the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord is still active and the Rangers summon it to take on Pirantishead. The monster takes control of Tyrannosaurus, which then attacks the Rangers instead. After receiving a power boost from Zordon, a recharged Tommy arrives and the others apprise him of the situation. Tommy summons the Dragonzord to protect them from Tyrannosaurus. The two Zords are evenly matched, but Dragonzord is successfully in keeping Tyrannosaurus at bay. However this doesn't last long as Pirantishead seizes the opportunity to take control of Dragonzord too.

"Now that makes two! Ha-ha!"

"No way!"

"Jason's Zord!"

"Now that monster has controlled all of our Zords!"

"Wait! We still got Tommy's Zord!"

"But Tommy's power is flactuating!"

"What bad timing!"

"Not good!"

In the Command Center, Zordon tells Alpha they were fortunate to anticipate Lord Zedd's return, and instruct him to prepare for 'Phase 2'. Meanwhile, the Rangers are desperately trying to avoid the Tyrannosaurus and Dragonzord's attacks. Tommy attempts to distract the Zords by playing the Dragon Dagger, and the Rangers leap to the top of a nearby building in an effort to reach the Zords' controls. That doesn't work, and the Rangers decide to retreat and consult with Zordon.

Back at the Command Center, Zordon and Alpha tell the Rangers that the Dinozords alone will be no match for Lord Zedd, so he plans to give them new Zords. The Rangers are introduced to the Thunderzords, which are:

- the Red Dragon Thunderzord,

- the Black Lion Thunderzord,

- the Blue Unicorn Thunderzord,

- the Yellow Griffin Thunderzord, and

- the Pink Firebird Thunderzord.

When Kimberly asks about Tommy, Alpha explains that his powers are still too weak and unstable to allow him access to a Thunderzord, thus Tommy would have to retain the Dragonzord for the time being at the moment, which Tommy reluctantly nodded.

Making matters worse, the Rangers must first regain access to the Dinozords before the Thunderzords can be summoned. Billy suggests he may be able to make a device that would block the signal controlling the Zords. Trini and Billy head off to work on the device in his lab, but Pirantishead is spotted at the rally and the other Rangers are forced to fight more Z-Putties in order to keep the racers from getting hurt.

At the rally, Bulk and Skull have stolen two four-wheelers from the Rangers and are trying to figure out the way to the finish line. Pirantishead appears and uses his powers to send the four-wheelers driving backwards. The monster then confronts the Rangers again and summons the Tyrannosaurus and Dragonzord to destroy the Rangers.

"Okay, boys…go get them!"

"ROAR!"

Billy and Trini arrive with the device to stop Pirantishead's signal and activate it to no effect. With the Zords closing in on them, the Rangers form the Power Blaster and initially aim them at their Zords, but turn and blast Pirantishead at the last second. With the monster distracted, Billy fixes the device (he had put a battery in backwards) and activates it. At once, the attacking Zords are halted and the rest are unfrozen.

Furious, Lord Zedd uses his magic to sink the Dinozords below the Earth's surface, though Tommy sends the Dragonzord back to the ocean in an effort to save it. Zedd then throws a grenade down to Pirantishead, who uses it to grow to giant size. Back at the Command Center, Alpha reports that he was able to recover enough of the old Dinozords to create the Thunderzords. The Power Rangers summon their new Zords into battle, bringing a rare smile to Zordon's face as they come together into the Thunder Megazord.

Pirantishead makes the first attack by catching the Megazord in his chain weapon, but the Rangers recover and break the chain. With a mighty slash of its Thunder Saber, the Thunder Megazord finishes off Pirantishead and gives Lord Zedd his first taste of defeat. While Zedd rages in his throne room and berates all of his minions, Finster merely looks on from his workshop and mutters that his monsters would have won had Zedd used them instead.

"YOU DIMWITS! YOU'RE THE REASON WHY I FAILED!"

"…"

Back at the Command Center, Tommy is informed that the Dragonzord's power is now as limited as his own and must be used sparingly, but the Rangers are confident that they will get their friend back to his full power. As for Rita Repulsa, the Viewing Globe reveals that she's still stuck in her dumpster and is singing to herself to pass the time. Everybody enjoys a good laugh at Rita's expense (even Zordon!), but they also see that Bulk and Skull are still stuck on their out-of-control four-wheelers.

The Rangers use Billy's device to get the vehicles back to normal, sending Bulk and Skull onto the ground in a heap. As Kimberly and Tommy help them recover, the bullies boast that they're going to expose the Power Rangers for who they really are. The Rangers simply laugh at the notion, but agree to give Bulk and Skull a lift to the finish line, where the group brings up the rear of the pack.

In Japan, something else similar is taking place, as Japan's own version of the Power Rangers are defending Japan from a group of supervillains, but unlike in the case of Lord Zedd, this group of supervillains are Earth-born and are created through cybernetics and are fighting for world domination, and they are identified as the Neo Empire Gear, led by the mad scientist-turned cyborg known as Doctor Man, with the one group standing in their way – The Biomen!

However, recent events took place which changed the landscape of the struggle between the two sides. When a comet was passing by Earth's atmosphere Doctor Man discovered that this would weaken the Biomen and sent five of his cybernetic fighters, the Beastnoids, to battle the Biomen, and while this is happening, Doctor Man revealed his trump card – the Neo Mecha-Gigan…and there he cold-heartedly used it to attack both the Biomen and the Beastnoids in a savage ambush.

However, only two of the Beastnoids perished and the rest survived, and this prompted the two sides to retreat due to the severity of their injuries.

Several days passed and the Biomen recovered but Doctor Man uses the time to UPGRADE his forces, where Mason and Psygorn became the recipients of the upgrade and temporarily sent the Biomen retreating which caused a mother and child getting caught in the crossfire.

Much later, one of the Bioman, Jun Yabuki, takes the child Maiko to a hospital after she injures her knee earlier from her motorcycle and the doctor noticed her injury is just a bruise. Shizuko was frighten after discovering the car that moved has no driver and Jun carries Maiko outside. Jun now takes Maiko with her motorcycle and she tells her to hold tight before they ride.

As they ride on the prairie, they are later pursued by the moving car made by Psygorn which hiding from its bushes. Jun discovers that she was pursued by the moving car and she was confronted by Psygorn and Maiko was scared to his appearance. Psygorn attacks them with his telekinetic ray causes both to be floating in mid-air and both gets off the motorcycle.

Psygorn was ready to confront both and to discover that they had escaped. Both Jun and Maiko are hiding at the abandoned mines where Mason and his squad appear to pursue them. Jun tells Maiko to be quiet only to be found by one of the mechaclones. When Maiko runs away, Jun fends off the mechaclone singlehandedly and she reunites with Maiko.

She also explains that she was pretending and Jun asks her why and she answers that she wanted to play ballet. Jun also tells her about her childhood past who loves to ballet just like she does which Maiko was happy to know she was just like her.

Both are confronted by Mason and his squad as the mechaclones are trying to corner them. Jun tells Maiko to hide as she fends off most of the mechaclones. Maiko watches Jun fight off most of the mechaclones all by herself as she knocks them with her own ballet moves much to her amusement.

Jun was later attacked by Psygorn only to be knocked down by Red1 with his Bio Super Kick as the other Biomen arrive to help her. Jun tells Maiko to run for safety as she succeeds and she transforms into Yellow4 to go with them. Mason and Psygorn moves to fight the group as he hits them with his rockets from left wrist.

"Mason Rockets!"

"AAAAAAIIIIIEEEEEE!"

"GGGGGGYYYYYAAAHHH!"

"AAAAARRRGGGHHHH!"

"GGGGGUUUUWWWWAAAAHHH!"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

"KKKKKYYYYYAAAAHHH!"

The Biomen are badly hurt as Mason continues his demonstration with his upgrade to damage them in the process as well as Psygorn demonstrated upgraded powers as well.

"Psygorn Fireball!"

"AAAAAAIIIIIEEEEEE!"

"GGGGGGYYYYYAAAHHH!"

"AAAAARRRGGGHHHH!"

"GGGGGUUUUWWWWAAAAHHH!"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

"KKKKKYYYYYAAAAHHH!"

When Psygorn controls the toy car which is the moving car. Yellow4 saw this and it manages to destroy the toy car with her Bio Arrow as the moving car stopped. Yellow4 manages to drive the car to make a hit and run towards Psygorn as the group follow her and she makes a great chase towards Psygorn until Yellow4 manages to get off to make Psygorn and the moving car exploded in defeat and Mason soon escaped after Psygorn was defeated.

At the Neo Empire Base, Doctor Man now summons a neo mechagigan named Axe Megas to confront the Biomen where Mason piloted the mecha to deal the group. After the group summoned the Bio Dragon as they transported to their Bio Jets and form the Bio Robo, Both mechas are clashing with each other as Axe Megas gives an upper hand towards the Bio Robo. Peebo informs them if they use the Bio Electron Charge it will be risky and Red1 has no other choice but to use this ability to defeat the mecha. The group succeeds in concentrating the Bio Electron Charge and defeats the Axe Megas with a Bio Particle Cut as Mason quickly escapes by riding an emergency jet. The group successfully masters the Bio Electron Charge and they celebrated for their success.

The next day, it was Farrah's turn, as she too have been upgraded alongside Mettzler, and there they gave the Bioman team a hard time. At the Neo Empire, Doctor Man decided to take advantage and sent forth a neo-mechagigan named Skull Megas which engulfing the workers of the power plant with thick black smoke as Peebo immediately alerts the Biomen about the neo-mechagigan as the group transforms into Biomen as riding their vehicles in Super Speed.

The Biomen are soon confronted by Farrah and her squad as the fight ensues.

"Farrah Firestorm!"

"Mettzler Neo Beam!"

"AAAAAAIIIIIEEEEEE!"

"GGGGGGYYYYYAAAHHH!"

"AAAAARRRGGGHHHH!"

"GGGGGUUUUWWWWAAAAHHH!"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

Despite this the Biomen persevere and after defeating the mechaclones the group chases Mettzler only to be attacked by Farrah with her ability Farrah Kiss. Yellow4 attempts to hit with her Bio Arrow towards Mettzler but to no effect and Farrah hits them with her fire breath from her mouth despite Pink5's attempt to use the Pink Barrier to protect themselves it manages to break her barrier.

Green2 tells Red1 the only way to stop them is to use the Bio Electron Charge but still no effect as the group weakens this ability. Green2 becomes angered after his complete training became useless. However, Mettzler becomes weaken much to Farrah's shock. and his body was smoked from his chest which Red1 discovers they successfully defeat him with their new ability which forces Farrah, Farrah Cat and a defeated Mettzler retreated by teleportation.

"Whoa…we managed to damage Mettzler…!"

"It sure is! Looks like the training paid off!"

"Your hard work wasn't in vain after all!"

"And this is just the start!"

"We can weather this!"

"Yeah…you're right…"

"Now we can move forward!"

"Right on!"

Green2 knows their technique is a success as Red1 knows it's still not ready and it's because of his training has already pay off until they were confronted by Skull Megas which is piloted by Farrah and it attempts to attack the Biomen repeatedly but it manages to hit Pink5. Peebo discovers the mecha is too much for them which he summons the Bio Robo to aid them and successfully put Biomen inside the Bio Robo to fight the mecha. Both mechas are soon to clash when Skull Megas manages to make a shadow mist.

The Skull Megas eventually hits them with red electricity causing Red1 to activate the Bio Missile but no effect which Farrah taunts them to do better than that. Red1 angrily activates Bio Robo's Super Maser and hits the mecha with Bio Flash which it manages to disperse its shadow mist. Farrah attempts to attack with a black smoke as a distraction and hit them until the Bio Robo counterattacks the mecha with a Bio Particle Cut to defeat it causing Farrah to flee the mecha via emergency jet.

Atter the incident, the Biomen continue their serious training as well as their new technique which Peebo supports them to their vigorous training.

The next day again, alarmed by the Biomen's gradual progression, Doctor Man sent forth Mason and Psygorn to ambush the Biomen and if possible, Peebo, which the latter two nodded as they immediately departed, and by then Monster arrived as he brought out the damaged parts of his Beastnoid partner Zyuoh.

There Monster pleaded to Doctor Man to restore Zyuoh as he pointed out that he is the MOST LOYAL amongst the members of the Neo Empire Gear, and those words impressed Doctor Man to a degree that he accede to Monster's request, stating that Monster and Zyuoh will be the next to be upgraded, much to Farrah's dismay.

"Very well. I will accept your request."

"R-really…?"

"Yes."

"Then…!"

"I will have him undergo heavy re-modification…alongside you…in recognition for your loyalty to our cause."

"Oh, thank you, my lord! Zyuoh…it won't be long…!"

"…"

"We'll be together again, Zyuoh!"

Much later Mason and Psygorn fought the Biomen at a mountainous area before Monster and Zyuoh arrived, who are now upgraded and there Mason decided to let Monster handle the Biomen and departed with Psygorn. Monster and Zyuoh gave the Biomen a hard time until the Bio-particles within their bodies began to resonate and thus their Bio-Energies within them flashed and thus the Biomen have finally upgraded their powers and went on to defeat Monster and Zyuoh using their new team finisher, sending the latter two retreating.

About two weeks later, the scene shows that an event is taking place somewhere within Angel Grove where a Nobel Prize award ceremony is announced and is slated to take place the following day, but then some American TV channel foolishly leaked the names of the inductees, which was somewhat controversial, as amongst the names intentionally mentioned was an eccentric scientist who made waves via the social media.

He is identified only by the name of Professor Phenomenus, and despite his eccentric appearance and personality, which he had a very wacky, scatterbrained personality, he was well-liked by many due to his honest and very sweet nature.

At the Neo Empire Gear base, which is situated at the North Pole, Doctor Man happened to catch a glimpse of the broadcast and finds himself disgusted and repulsed at the fact that an oddball scientist like Phenomenus would receive a Nobel Prize, where it is revealed that Doctor Man had met Phenomenus years ago when he was an ordinary scientist named Hideo Kageyama.

As Kageyama he secretly despised Phenomenus because of his odball personality yet he was well-liked by other scientists which led to Kageyama developing deep disgust that led to his secret experiments on himself that led to becoming Doctor Man.

The Big Three members, Mason, Farrah and Monster, agreed that someone like Phenomenus do not deserve such recognition and suggested that Phenomenus be killed off, which Doctor Man nodded as he revealed that this is what he aimed for, so that the world would know what would happen if they are not aware of the Neo Empire Gear.

"That will be our mission for now…show those fools who deserves the better recognition…me!"

"FOR THE MAN!"

Hope you like the opening chapter, as this was inspired from the aftermath of the Mutiny story arc of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers while in Bioman it was character-driven, and while the two Sentai teams haven't encountered one another yet, the plot would set the wheels of fate as Neo Empire Gear is set to attack a foreign country...
