There is nothing but a field of twinkling stars. You are about to enter a world of dreams. A world of beauty. A world of wonder. A world of adventure. One of the stars slowly gets brighter and brighter. It's a world like no other. The brighter star suddenly gets even brighter. Several planets suddenly fly past as the view gets closer and closer to the star which is the Sun. Welcome to the world of Pokémon!

The scene freezes at a view of the Earth, Moon, and Sun. There it is! Such pristine beauty! Let's go!

There's a reason this world is known for the creatures that inhabit it! Pokémon are such wonderful and majestic creatures! An even faster zoom in now shows a sprawling grassy plain with Pokémon of all sorts. A herd of Rabbolt hop across the grass, passing by a pack of Lupine and Lichenthrope. In a nearby river, Kappaqua and Kappaqueous splash about under the watch of a Kappquarius. Startled by one of the splashes, a Dashilisk suddenly sprints across the water. Nearby, a Yin-Xing and Yang-Xing chases each other in circles. A Yin-Yang-Xing stands majestically on a hill above them. Also atop that hill is a Cycloptic which stands with its feet planted in the ground and staring up into the sky with its telescopic eye. A Radeon runs underneath a group of Honbee, which are flying back towards a Vespidron that's guarding them. There's also a herd of Tennoan Miltank and Miltaint which graze on the grass. Above them, a cluster of Tennoan Unown float about. A different perspective reveals that grass that the Miltank graze on has been carved up into crop circles by the Unown.

It doesn't matter where you search, you will always find Pokémon! A different scene shows a forest at sunset, also teeming with life. A Glowva crawls up a tree, from which several Chrysalux hang. All at once, the Chrysalux glow intensely as they emerge from their cocoons and evolve into Glitterfly. The glittering Pokémon fly away, leaving behind a trail of shimmers. They fly past another tree, where several Chipmunch are taking turns carrying nuts up the trunk into a hollow, where a large Squirrelutton sits eating some of the stored food. The foliage beneath the tree starts to move, but it's not actually foliage at all, it's a Ferntress. It's followed by several Buffern and Sporout. The heavy footfalls of Ferntress startles several Buzzsaw, which fly off from one tree to another and begin to carve through it with their mandibles. The next tree down turns out to not be a tree at all. It's an Arborrior. As it takes a step forward, several Traineed jump down from its branches. A lone Ivine crosses the tree Pokémon's path. As night falls in the forest, a ring of Apojig dance around a Shamoon, who dances most fervently of all. In the dark of night, a group of Scarachnid lead by a Terrorantula become active on their large web. There are also several faint flickering lights off in the distance, which grow brighter as they get closer. The source is an Infearno and several Wispirit.

Even in the hearts of cities, as far away from nature as you can get, you'll still find these marvelous beings! In a city filled with skyscrapers, Pokémon are still everywhere. In an alley, there are several cardboard boxes with both Kittainer and Parabox of both Life and Ghost Forms in them. A Muttnik runs into the alley and barks at them, but the cat Pokémon all hide away in their boxes until the Muttnik gives up. Over a nearby street, a group of Noxic, Hazeard, Venimbus, and even a Haking float by. A Malworm crawls up the side of a stoplight, and a Pterabite flies by above it. A Tennoan Varoom speeds by on the street. Watching it as it goes by is a Tennoan Golett and Golurk on the sidewalk. From another alley, an Assimlophage sticks its head out. Floating behind it is a Germite. Nearby, a Spryte and an Artifract seems to be locked in a conflict, with a Pixle stuck in the middle. The Pixle rapidly shifts back and forth between its Bugged and Debugged Forms. One building in the city is a nuclear power plant, filled with Pokémon such as Nucleaction, Nucleactor, Tennoan Grimer and Tennoan Muk. There's also a Tennoan Honedge, Doublade and Aegislash there as well. On the side of a nearby road, there's a stand selling novelty ice cream, and at the stand is the Tennoan Forms of Vanillite, Vanillish, and Vanilluxe. Across the road there's a street show at which a Hatrick and Boodini perform magic tricks for a small audience. Above it all, several Guardgoyle and Gargolem sit perched as still as statues on the ledge of one of the tallest towers in the city.

Look to the deepest oceans! The surface of an ocean sparkles with reflected sunlight. What looks to be an island passes by, but then a Galapelago surfaces. It's followed by several others, as well as a Galapaglobe. Going in a different direction is a pod of Delphin which leap in and out of the water. A Marlance also skims the surface at incredible speeds. Going underneath the water reveals a school of Pufflail. Even deeper, and there's a sunken ship. A Saws swims out from the wreckage. Inside the wreck, a Krakannon has made its home. There's also a treasure chest, which pops open to reveal itself as an Abyssoul.

Or the tallest mountain! Atop a snow-covered peak, a group of Beetundra roll their snowballs. An Arctick pops its head out from one of the snowballs to look around. Behind them a Carapice carries the largest snowball of all. A nearby tree has a group of Frostcicle which have attached themselves to the bottom of the tree's limbs. In a nearby partially frozen lake, several Hailitzer crawl out from the frigid water. A much large Hailfire then breaches the surface by breaking through the ice. The splash gets the attention of a nearby Soludon, which was pounding away at a rock to mine for metals. In a relatively flat patch of ground, a herd of Massodon and Mahemoth traverse. They're eyed by a pack of Sapurr and Catana, which watch the herd silently from atop a nearby hill. A Tennoan Magnezone floats overhead.

Pokémon can be found in any and every environment! In a craggy field of rocks and cliffs, a Pyrethon and Vipyre slither through the rocks. But one of the rocks isn't a rock at all. It's a Mosstone, which hops away when startled by the Vipyre. It hops to a field of other mossy rocks, which are actually other Mosstone, as well as several Bryolith and a Mossolith. Atop some actual rocks, a group of Turcell, Turtsol, and Solurtle bask in sunlight. There's also a Heliophosaur nearby doing the same. There's a nearby cliff with a Fallamence climbing up it. Atop the cliff is already a Tennoan Shelgon. One of Shelgon leaps off and crashes into the ground, which startles a nearby Wimpish. The Pokémon vanishes. A Machogre turns visible to look around and see the source of the commotion, only to vanish again. Another rock has several Heala and a Curemodo perched atop it. They all stare into the sky, where they see a swarm of Scartouche and Scarcophagus fly overhead. The swarm is flying towards an area where several Scarabti are sitting. One of the Scartouche land on the open mouth of a Tennoan Carnivine, not realizing what it is. Carnivine snaps its mouth shut, but the Scartouche escapes in time. Around the area are other Carnivine as well as Carnivenus, all looking for a meal. Nearby, a turf war seems to have broken out between a group of Slasharp led by a Slashogun and a group of Ninjitsu led by a Ninjato. A Promen sits on another rock and watches as a Thundroll leaps from one foot to another and claps its hands aggressively. The Thundroll has startled a nearby Repiv, which slithers away. From a cave, a Galacerta, followed by a Serpenstar, emerges.

Even the skies above are filled with Pokémon! A bright blue sky has bird Pokémon of all kinds. Apprentichick, Falcoknight, Eagladiator, Calumba, Dovine, Necrow, and Ravenoir all fly about. An Orbitross plumets down in a dive from even higher up, startling several of the Apprentichick. The bird Pokémon all stay clear of a nearby storm cloud. In the cloud many Spritning, Phantasma, and Spectricity live. Day turns into night, and one of the constellations in the sky seems to move. It's actually a Dracosmic flying across the starscape. From below, a Tennoan Beldum rockets upwards.

But all this time, I've been calling this place a world. But no, it's much, much more than that! The Beldum rockets all the way into outer space, where it meets up with a Tennoan Metang. Several Meteorfight and Meteormight float by. They're in an act of zero-gravity combat with each other. From out of nowhere, an Orbot in its Shuttle Mode rockets by, before stopping, transforming into Robot Mode, and continuing on its way. All this time, the Earth has been growing smaller and the Moon bigger. A Tardiguard floats by, seemingly unbothered by the harsh space environment. On the surface of the Moon, a Tennoan Metagross lands using its rockets to soften the fall. A Roveroom drives nearby. There's also several Lunatue. But things don't stop at the Moon. It now retreats away while the Sun grows ever closer. Along the way, a Yuifoe floats by with an Eatyai riding atop it. There's also a Cosmet which streaks by leaving a brilliant trail behind. Even above the Sun, there are Pokémon such as Protostar, Astar, Gigastar, and Solem.

In fact, to call this the world of Pokémon is thinking too small! This isn't the world of Pokémon, this is the universe of Pokémon! From within the Sun, Heliosol emerges. It looks back towards the Earth and Moon. A quick movement back towards the Earth and Moon reveals Terratlas and Seluna each floating above their creations. As they retreat away, three points of light streak by. It's Ryusei, Showakusei, and Suisei. As they pass, Gravisaac and Schwarzsfield also float into view before suddenly leaving again. Then there's column of bright light that blurs by. A slowed down view reveals it to be a Velocivity, which is able to run at lightspeed even in outer space. Above the North Pole of the Earth floats Myoken, which looks down to the Earth below it. Then there's a jump even farther out. Past all of the known planets is Planet X, and there we find Nemex, alone in complete solitude. But even that isn't the end. Even farther out, in a realm of bizarre lights and colors, is a great winged Pokémon with a body of intense light.

So, let me try that again. Welcome to the universe of Pokémon!

A new scene now shows a cave with walls of a deep, dark purple, filled with iridescent points of twinkling light. It's the Cosmic Cave. But this isn't just a universe for Pokémon. Also here are humans, and when humans and Pokémon come together, great things are born! In the cave is Brandon locked in a Pokémon battle. On his side is Gravisaac. Opposing them is Schwarzsfield. Brandon thrusts out an arm as he issues a command. Gravisaac attacks with a wave of gravitic energy from its crystal core. Schwarzsfield attacks back with a darker version of the same attack. The two moves collide.

Together Pokémon and trainer can overcome any obstacle, surmount any challenge, and defy any odds! When Gravisaac attacks with a beam of energy, Schwarzsfield creates a black hole that redirects and absorbs the attack. It then throws the blackhole at Gravisaac. At Brandon's command, Gravisaac doesn't avoid the black hole, but rather floats right at it. It orbits about the singularity and uses its gravity to slingshot itself at Schwarzsfield. This catches the black hole Pokémon off-guard and leaves it open to an attack. Gravisaac attacks once more with Graviton Surge and sweeps Schwarzsfield away with it, blasting the Pokémon to the ground.

When humans and Pokémon are as one in heart and mind, there is nothing they can't do! Brandon throws an Ultra Ball at the fallen Pokémon. It wiggles once. Twice. Three times. And clicks. Brandon has captured Schwarzsfield. He slowly approaches the Pokéball, picks it up, and stares at it reverently. Gravisaac floats up behind him. The two grin at each other.

Which brings us to heroes of this story! Ash and Pikachu stand together, looking up at the incredible starscape of the Tenno night sky. Ash points up excitedly as he spots a shooting star. Pikachu cheers.

This dynamic duo is epitome of human and Pokémon cooperation. They're the ones who do the impossible more than anyone else! Ash falls back onto the soft grass behind him. A wider view shows that Eagladiator, Solurtle, Dashilisk, Arborrior, and Ninjitsu are also watching the stars with them.

In the daylight, Ash, Brock, Brenda, and all of their Pokémon are all running together down a long dirt road through a field. Alongside their friends, both human and Pokémon alike, Ash and Pikachu will never stop until Ash achieves his dream of becoming a Pokémon Master! So look out, universe of Pokémon, because Ash Ketchum will take you by storm!

There's a sudden shift to a much more ominous tone. But Ash isn't the only coming storm… Something is amiss in the universe of Pokémon… Flashbacks play. First of Aries arriving in the Celestial Temple. Then it's of Terratlas and Seluna battling due to the disruption caused by the loss of the Celestial Gem. Then it's Nemex sitting on its throne on Planet X, followed by Nemex battling against Heliosol and Ash. Nemex wins and moves on to cause a mass extinction on Earth. But in another flashback, Ash drives the Sol Staff, with the Sol Gem atop it, into a pedestal and uses its power to revive Heliosol and transform it into its Ascended Form. Ash and Heliosol are now able to defeat Nemex. With the job done, Ash hands the Sol Staff to Arun, who promises to return it to where it belongs. But, instead, Arun delivers the precious treasure into Nemex's hands.

What is Nemex's plan…? And is there anyone who can stop it…?

A young girl with long, pure white hair and dressed in a pristine white dress floats through what looks like the void of outer space. In front of her is bright and colorful nebula shaped like an eight-pointed star with four larger points and four smaller ones in between them. A look of pure serenity is on her face as she floats with arms outstretched.

A quiet, yet majestic voice echoes about her. It says, "Build, my child… Build…"

But then the color and light around her suddenly drains away, leaving her in a much more sinister place. A new, malevolent voice declares in a threatening tone, "I see you."

The girl opens her eyes in terror, and she sees a pair of giant red eyes staring at her. She screams.

Then she bolts awake in her bed, still screaming. It takes her several moments of hyperventilating to calm down. Once she does, she looks around her room and says to herself with a hint of fear, "That's never happened before…"
