Story begins, chilling around WNA Academy…

We're introduced to two kids, well one actually;

Van: a young boy with fair skin, white and purple hair evenly divided in a spiky hairstyle, emerald eyes and freckles, he usually sports a outfit that's equally as sporty as it is casual and generally shows a cheerful and energetic demeanour who loves doing anything active and cool but at the same time can't help but have a ego sometimes.

Berecca: A young girl (actually woman, but it's a long story), with a pale yet cute appearance, having long magenta pink hair in a rolled up pompadour and ponytail held up by sapphire pins, she wears a skater like attire in the form of a yellow jacket, midnight shorts, pink and purple thigh-high socks with skulls and blue sneaks with red and white accents.

She represents a simple yet noticeable personality being both responsible, focused, intelligent and no-nonsense but at last does enjoy having some fun.

The two were just outside and at the sports facility, playing some basketball

Van: "Alright! Evenly matched and at a deuce, you ready to do this or lose this Berecca?"

Berecca: "We'll just see, come at me Van!"

Just as Van skillfully and tauntingly dodged Berecca while charging, he was almost about to make a slam dunk until they heard the voices of 3 children which made him miss disappointingly…

VAN, BERECCA! GUYS WE NEED YOUR HELP, WE CANT FIND GUMCHI!

Here were the children;

Emma: A brown-skinned young girl with chartreuse-blond hair into many long and thick dreads, but still has bangs somehow, in a blue hair tie and cerulean eyes, she looked as enthusiastic as she was determined, she wears slick streetwear mostly consisting of a white fur hooded jacket over a pink tank top, black shorts and lemon-lime high top sneakers.

Emma was something of an enthusiastic and dreamful dancer who loved to break it down and hopes that one day that she'll be a queen of dancing.

Kappei: A apricot-skinned boy with sky blue spiky hair like Van albeit shorter and more messier, he looked one of if not the most adorable compared to the others due to his child like face. He had an X shaped scar on his cheeks and a strip of sports tape on his nose bridge. His attire was something of a martial artist and a casual traveller, he wears a deep blue hoodie with the logo and title "XINOBI" on it over training karate gi-like overalls.

And like a karate protege, Kappei is a boy training to be a swordsman under his grandfather but cant help but goof off and be childish while trying to be both stoic, honourable and disciplined. Though there is potential but does show a pure heart (P.S he's Gumchi' BFF)

Lucy: A young pale-skinned girl, with long cyan hair like Kappei but lighter and in pigtails held by spiked bracelets and dyed salmon highlights. She dresses in both a cutesy and punk like manner, sporting mesh, a pink crop top over a white tank top, ripped jorts and blue boots, some of which of the above have star patterns on them. And most importantly; A eyepatch, this eyepatch is related to her backstory.

She's your typical crazy girl with a cheerful attitude, eccentric quirks and a fearless if not insane attitude towards anything, but how she came to be the punk is actually a sad and traumatic one but she grew out of it to be herself importantly.

Back to the story…

Kappei; "We can't find Gumchi, I checked everywhere! The dojo, the classroom, the lunchroom, my bathroom, the bathhouse etc!"

Lucy: "And we wonder if you guys have seen Gumchi recently. Have you? You better have!"

Emma: "Guys please take it easy, there's no need to panic so just chillax, we'll find the lil guy eventually,"

Van: "Yeah, like what Emma said, I'm pretty sure he'll be easy to find or he'll come back."

Berecca: Still, I wonder, have you told the others about it? Bruce, Genryusai, Genunsai? I bet they must have seen Gumchi."

Kappei, Lucy, Emma: "Nope."

Kappei: "Though that is a good idea, maybe we can ask Ron, Jane and or Burton."

Van: "Sure thing, let's do it!"

Kappei: "Hold on, what are we doing again?.."

Everyone but Kappei proceeds to facepalm.

Berecca: "Never mind Kappei, just follow us. You girls too."

Kappei: "Sure thing!"

Lucy: "Ok let's do this thing!"

Emma shrugs and just walks along the crew along with Van.

Cuts to the classroom where we see finally, 3 additional kids, making 8 protagonists in total!

Jane: A peach-skinned young lass with rounded dark indigo hair in a bob cut but with longer strands on each side, brownish-fawn eyes and sunglasses with dark lenses, she wears a outfit in a biker motif, a cream coloured vest over a black undershirt, black shorts and fingerless gloves, a red glossy belt with red glossy thigh high boots and a checkerboard rag on her hips.

Jane is represented as a collected, poised and stoic kind of individual with fondness for computer hacking, programming and confectionery but possesses strong morality and compassion as she is a white hat kind of person.

Ron: A dark-skinned boy with hazel eyes, a stoic and determined disposition and dark brown hair stylised in a undercut (greyish/blackish shaved sides) and dark brown high-top dreadlocks ,one of which sporting light blue rings, he wears a outfit that means toughness, business and awesomeness; A white jacket with red padding over a black turtleneck sweater and fingerless gloves like Jane, green cargo pants, and brown boots.

Ron is the most serious, mysterious and stoic out of the 8, showing high discipline and a cool head, not to mention strong willpower and skills, though that doesn't mean he is apathetic (well not currently) and does enjoy some of life's aspects but with confusion and disturbance hilariously,.

Burton: The last guy of the 8 protagonists! A young blond, with messy honey-blond hair, indigo-violet eyes, pale skin and a chill and laid back yet smug and snarky face. He usually dons purple headphones horizontally and purple-rimmed glasses, a lapis-lazuli blue jacket like blazer, purplish-indigo shirt underneath with a white and gold logo in center. Dark coloured slacks and shoes in the colours of blue, periwinkle, black, gold and white.

Burton is the general odd and chill nerd-geek with a love for science, books, experiments, Thomas Edison and more, who shows a lighthearted-natured and optimistic outlook on anything no matter how many times he flopped but there's more to him than meets the eye when it comes to heritage and events too.
