Anna Golden lived in a world where Mobians and Humans lived in peace, but she wasn't either. She was basically both, her mom was a human and her dad was a mobian. (she also was whatever a female herm is called) When she was three, there was a new law passed, any human who has kids with a mobian or vice versa past that date would have the child taken away and experimented on, but since Anna was born before that date, she was safe. Fast forward to middle school, the second day of 7th grade for her. She was on the bus, going to school, when she saw a girl. A jackal. A mobian. She was sitting on the seat across from Anna. She felt something when she saw this Jackal, her heart fluttered with delight, her stomach was a bit queasy, and her cheeks warmed up. She continued to look at the girl until she sensed that Anna was watching her, and looked back, Anna was startled and looked away, but the Jackal was still looking at her, curiously.
Later that day, they were in AIG class together, when the girl noticed that Anna had taken a stuffed animal of the youtuber, Aphmau with her.
