It was a nice warm summer day in Jump City the perfect day for superheroie Karen Beecher-Duncan aka Bumblebee to do some research on her favorite subject honey bees. As an apiarist, Karen had studied all things honey bee do to it being one of her fascination well beside crime fighting. She'd been studying and raising bees for years in a little greenhouse she owned on the edge of the city as her teammates didn't much care for them, well not Starfire and Raven no they liked them or more the sweet honey that her bees made as they liked it on there toast and on her body when they had their lesbian fun.
For the years she would often take long hikes into the mountains outside the city looking for new areas where she could find their nest to see what types of environments the bees liked so she could copy them for her greenhouse. But today while hiking thru an area she had hiked many times Karen stumbled across the strangest looking den for bees she had ever seen and one that had been hidden by a huge oak tree until recently do to a storm that the villainess Weather Witch had made. Now only an occasional bee flew in and out of the den and strangely seemed to take no notice of her presence. Also each of the bees seemed to be bigger then normal as they were each the size of a small dog. Deciding that this must be investigated as it could be the work of the villainess Kitty using some of her father Killer Moths tech she leaned into the huge hole and down into a steep cave like structure that was dripping with a substance similar to honey but was incredibly slippery under her left hand..
Deciding that she need to test this odd honey Karen removed her special backpack, Then removed a tablet that could be used for scanning the samples and some vials for the samples. The substance smelled as fragrant as flowers and with a small taste, she found it was much less sweet than any honey but still wonderfully floral. The taste of it sent a shiver down through her body warming her as she swallowed even the tiniest amount. So taking out her tablet, she began to take some notes before attempting to take some pictures down into the cave. But as she was focusing deeper into the large cave, a large blob of the strange goo dripped down onto her hand. The sudden splash surprised her and she accidentally dropped her tablet into the goo. With a array of dirty words that would make Starfire blush a deep red all over her large orange breast she shook the slippery substance from her black hand before noticing her tablet was sliding down farther into the hole. Knowing that the data and scans could be very helpful if this was the work of a villain she quickly tried to chase it, while avoiding more of the dripping honey.
