After leaving Aquaformer in the med bay, Cosmos thanked Lancex. "For what?" Lancex asked.
"Thanks for bringing me to meet Aquaformer with you. I wasn't sure if she was an accepting bot or not, as I have heard some regular sized femmes don't necessarily care for minibots" Cosmos replied.
"Aquaformer isn't your typical femme. She is built bigger than most, so she understands being rejected for something that is outside of one's control. She does her best to make those who treat her well and with respect to feel welcome" Lancex replied. "In fact, if it wasn't for her, I would still be back on my planet, alone deserted and with no hope of finding anyone."
Cosmos nodded. "So do you think Grimlock and Optimus will want to come to the outdoor movies with us?" Cosmos asked.
"Well, Optimus wouldn't take much convincing. Grimlock, well… let's just hope they have a good amount of action in them" Lancex replied as they headed to find Optimus and Grimlock.
Fortunately, the pair wasn't hard to find as they were both in the rec room. Lancex and Cosmos greeted the other two with a smile. "I have a wonderful idea" Lancex said.
"Oh? What is it, love?" Optimus asked, Grimlock showing interest as well.
"Well, When we visited Aquaformer…" was as far as Lancex got before Grimlock seemed to get upset.
"Why you bot visit nosy femme?" Grimlock asked back, shocking Lancex a bit.
"We went to see her because we wanted to ask her about being sparked, seeing as we are most likely to get sparked, we wanted to understand what it may entail. Being heavily sparked and due anytime, she was a great resource" Cosmos bit back, surprising everyone including himself. Lancex just smiled, Cosmos was stronger than he realized.
"So, what was the idea she gave you?" Optimus asked gently.
"Well, there is a nearby outdoor cinema and since the weather is nice tonight, she thought we would enjoy spending time together watching those movies under the stars and away from prying optics" Lancex explained.
Optimus had to smile. True, Aquaformer had a tendency to insert herself where she didn't belong at times, but he could see that the root of her doing so was to help others. It was t to say she couldn't be annoying, but she felt like she was trying to help. "If that is the case, I think we should go" Optimus stated. They made plans to head out soon so that they could find the perfect "seats."
