UA (Evening)

As Midoriya walked towards the Development Studio, he came upon an odd sight. Dominic and Charizard were standing in front of the door, both looking rather impatient.

Eventually, the blonde noticed his classmate. "Hey, Midoriya! You here for costume improvements too?" the trainer asked.

"Uh, yeah." the greenette confirmed. "Why do you have Charizard out right now?" Dominic typically refrained from sending out his Pokemon in the main building, and even then, he usually stuck with his smaller partners.

"Well, the costume design I have currently isn't conducive to helping Charizard or any of my other Pokemon get stronger." the boy explained. "That's why it's out of its Poke Ball. This change requires it to be present."

"Hey, Deku, Xiao-Long!" Uraraka shouted as she ran towards her friends, much to Iida's chagrin. "I was wondering where you two were!"

Before either Midoriya or Dominic could reply, the Development Studio door exploded open, sending dust and smoke everywhere. Midoriya was flung towards Iida, but Dominic and Charizard were at the epicenter of the blast.

"You know, you shouldn't mix everything you can find together like that." Power Loader said to Hatsume, who was laying on top of something.

"Failure is the mother of success, Mr. Power Loader!" the inventor proclaimed. "Thomas Edison said that. Even if something I make doesn't work like I want it to, it's never a waste of time!"

"You almost blew up the entire design studio!" the Tech Element Hero yelled as the smoke cleared.

Iida, Midoriya, Uraraka, and Charizard's eyes all widened at the sight in front of them. As it turned out, the 'something' Hatsume landed on top of was Dominic's body, with her 'assets' right on his chest. The blonde, having finally come to, saw this and glared at the pinkette.

"Hatsume, please remove yourself from my person." Dominic said, more irritated than anything else. Sheepishly, Hatsume stood up, allowing Dominic to do the same.

'What the heck is up with that reaction!?' Power Loader asked himself, taken completely off-guard. He expected the blonde to get flustered or embarrassed, not tell Hatsume off. 'I guess he's as dense as Hatsume is stubborn.'

"So, Class 1A, right?" Hatsume said, recognizing some of the students' faces. "Yeah, I don't remember any of your names."

"I'm Iida Tenya, the man you turned into a walking advertisement!" Iida said, outraged.

"Never heard of ya!" Hatsume said right as Iida finished his sentence. "Anyways, I'm busy developing new babies, so bye!"

"Wait!" Dominic said. "We came here for costume improvements. I don't think I need to tell you that you're the best person here to talk to about that, so I won't." Charizard growled in agreement.

That got Hatsume's attention. "Tell me what you need!" she asked, grabbing the Pokemon Trainer by the collar.

"Hatsume! Now that you're in the dorms, it's fine for you to be in and out of the studio after school, but please try and refrain from blowing up the lab!" Power Loader said. "If you don't I'll be forced to ban you."

"Well, that seems a bit harsh for a simple lab explosion." Dominic said, not seeing the issue with what Hatsume did. After all, he once saw a woman murder the head administrator of the company she worked for, and she still got off scot-free. Then again, she did go insane and split into two personalities, so half-scot-free.

"Eraserhead told me that you wanted costume improvements for your Ultimate Moves." Power Loader said. "Come on in."

The inside of the studio was spacious and filled with several tools and futuristic machinery. It reminded Dominic and Charizard of Team Magma's base, filled to the brim with their technological advancements.

"Now, hand me the blueprints for your costumes. They should've come with the case your costumes were delivered in." Power Loader requested. "I have a license to make costumes, so I can tinker a bit with those made out of house. For small changes and repairs, I just need to report what I did to the design company. For bigger changes, we need to fill out an application and have the company do it for us. After that's done, the government will make sure the costume meets certain standards. When they're approved, they send them back here. Since we work with some of the most efficient design companies out there, the bigger changes take around three days to be finished."

"The changes I'm hoping for are purely cosmetic. But it is still crucial for Charizard and I to figure out our Ultimate Move." Dominic explained, taking his Pokedex out. "Here's all the information I have on Charizard and its Mega Evolution."

"What were you thinking of?" Power Loader asked, reading over the Flame Pokemon's entries. He was curious to find out what exactly he was supposed to change about the costume.

"Like I said, just a few cosmetic changes." Dominic said, grinning.

Gym Gamma (Day)

The next day, Dominic and Charizard entered the TDL in high spirits. The boy's classmates looked on at his new costume, which seemed to burn its way into their memories.

His Mega Glove remained unchanged, but everything else received a major overhaul. His jacket was now a bright orange, with blue fabric on the inside. The back of the jacket was also torn open, almost splitting it in two, which gave it the appearance of giving Dominic wings. His pants were also hot orange, and his shoes were stark white. His undershirt, which was now a pale beige, bore the symbol of Mega Evolution on the blonde's chest. The final change was a gold pendant around his neck, containing a rainbow-colored stone with a star pattern.

"Charizard, are you ready?" he asked his partner, who roared in anticipation. "Now, to surpass our limits and become the shining flame that stands above all! Mega Evolve!" Pressing two fingers to his Key Stone, Dominic watched as light surged into Charizard's Mega Stone. In a burst of energy, the Pokemon Mega Evolved and the sun intensified.

Standing near the entrance of the gym, Greninja and the other Pokemon present during the Kamino Incident watched as their trainer developed a new move.

"Now, use Blast Burn on yourself!" Dominic commanded. Mega Charizard Y raised its head into the air, and blasted an orb of flame into the sky. The orb fell back onto the Pokemon, surrounding it in intense flames. "Fly up!" Charizard, covered in flames, shot into the air. "Now, crash into your target!"

The rainbow-colored stone hanging around Dominic's neck started to glow brightly as energy filled Charizard's body. With a mighty roar, the Mega Evolved Pokemon barreled towards a nearby stone conjured by Cementoss, breaking it apart and melting the fragments into ash.

This was it, Dominic and Charizard's ultimate attack, their Sync Move: Vesuvian Blast Burn.

Dominic realized this was the missing piece they needed when he remembered Red and Charizard's Sync Move. The way they executed Living Legend Blast Burn was so different from the normal move, but the Kanto Champion still won hundreds of thousands of battles with that attack.

Vesivian Blast Burn took from the same principles, but instead of causing geysers of lava to erupt from the ground, it used the incredible speed Mega Charizard Y possessed to create a force of impact greater than that of a ballistic missile. It maximized their strengths while minimizing their weaknesses.

The next time they battled Dabi, they wouldn't lose.
