CHAPTER 22
Gabriel and the other fairies were silenced. They seemed shocked about a Fairy Council Member attempting to harm a child. Norm silently noted "seemed" shock. He had enough experience with people, magical and mortal, that he knew shock can be faked.
"And you have no idea," said Gabriel, "who it might be."
"No," said Jorgen, "all A.J. was able to determine was it was powerful fairy magic, fairy magic that was so powerful, the being wouldn't need a magic wand. The only type of fairy with that type of power would either be a fairy infant or a council member. We know Poof didn't attempt to harm Turner so that leaves a council member; one of you four."
Timmy Turner considered what his friend A.J. said and it made sense. However, the thought of forgiving himself was a difficult concept to grasp; mostly because he wondered if he truly deserved forgiveness. The problem was Timmy had been on the bottom of the social food chain for so long, he had come to believe that he was less of a person. That he really was not as valuable as other people.
There was one other person, however, that agreed with Timmy's low opinion of himself; Trixie Tang's grandfather, Ngyuen Tang. He detested the boy which is why at this moment he was working with M.E.R.F. to neutralize him. The revelation that the Turner boy had some type of "power" was a revelation to him. Old man Tang thought for a second and said,
"I know he has magical beings, three of them, who grant his every wish."
"According to what we've researched so far this "power" originates from Timmy Turner himself," said the white agent.
Anti-Cosmo looked on with glee as Django felt the resentment towards his friend Phineas. This was much more fulfilling than watching Timmy Turner and his friends. For one thing he didn't know this boy Phineas or his step brother Ferb. That should ease any feelings of guilt he might have about going after Timothy and his friends. It, also, kept the anti-fairy safe because he knew if his masters had any inkling of this guilt feelings, well it would not be very pleasant for him.
Suddenly, there was a strange rustling sound, one that Anti-Cosmo knew all too well. He turned to the source.
"Anti-Cosmo," said Alden Bitterroot, "Why are you monitoring that boy; you're supposed to monitoring Turner and his friends so we can finally be rid of them once and for all.
Django, the boy that Anti-Cosmo was monitoring, quietly got up from his seat on the train and approached Candace Flynn. She was sitting beside her best friend, Stacey. It, also, looked like that she was unhappy and was complaining to Stacey about something. As Django drew closer, he heard what she was saying, and it was no surprise.
"Stacey" grumbled Candace, "I swear one day my brothers are going..."
"I know," replied Stacey, "Down, down, down. Really Candace, don't you ever get tired... " Stacey paused, then continued, "oh why do I even bother."
"Candace," said Django, quietly, "I can help you bust Phineas and Ferb."
As the clone Timmy Turner wailed, Jimmy Neutron knelt down and grabbed his shoulders.
"No, Timmy," said Jimmy, "your parents are just fine."
"You promise..," said seven year old copy of Timmy.
"Yes," said Jimmy, "I promise."
"'Kay," said "Timmy", "I believe you 'cause I know you'd never lie to me."
"Well, buddy," said A.J., "what do you say?"
"I'm not sure," replied the buck toothed boy, "I've never thought of forgiving myself really...because..."
"Because," said A.J., "you don't believe you deserve it.
Timmy nodded.
"Timmy," said Trixie, "A.J.'s right; I know I've had to forgive myself for the things, and I also know that forgiving yourself can be very hard." Trixie, then, smiled and said, "Besides, if you can forgive Remy Buxaplenty for all of the things he did, forgiving yourself should be easy in comparison.
At that A.J. turned to Trixie and said,
"Trixie speaking of that, could you do something for me. Could you go out there and get Remy? I need to talk to him for a few minutes.
"Do you have any idea what this "power" is," said Old Man Tang.
The agents smiled in unison and then said in unison,
"That's why we need to capture Timmy Turner and freeze dry and then dissect him, painfully.
"Okay," said Trixie who then went out the door.
"A.J. why are asking Remy to come in here," asked Timmy?
"It's all right buddy, I'm not going to do anything to Remy."
Remy entered the room with Winston.
"Winston," said A.J., "this is just between me, Timmy and Remy."
"No," said Winston, "I'm not leaving; I told Remy I'd be his friend, so I'm standing by him. Just like you would stand by Timmy."
A.J. nodded and said,
"Okay, fair enough."
"So," said Gabriel, "what you're saying that whoever voted against relaxing the rules concerning the memory is likely the one who tried to kill Timmy."
Jorgen nodded.
"So," demanded Elijah, "you two are going to keep us imprisoned in here until we tell you? You can't do that!"
"If you're trying to gain sympathy from me about being "imprisoned"," said Norm, "you're goes the old human saying "Barking up the wrong tree", what you're experiencing is nothing compared to what I've been through."
"Remy," said A.J., "Timmy, Trixie and I have had a talk about forgiveness."
Remy and Winston looked at each other uncertain.
"And this means," said Remy.
"Remy Buxaplenty, Timmy may have forgiven you, but I haven't...
"You brought in here to tell me THAT, supernerd,"snarled Remy, "You needn't have..
Winston gently grabbed Remy by the shoulder, and said,
"Let him finish Remy."
"Thank you, Winston," said A.J., "like I was saying no, I haven't forgiven you, at least not yet. But I do believe you're trying to change for the better so I won't be assuming the worst about you anymore."
"Okay," said Remy, "thank you I think."
"There is, also, something else, Remy," said A.J. standing up and walking to toward Remy and Winston. He pointed his finger at Remy Buxaplenty and continued,
"Understand this; I believe you have changed, but I also know you have pretended to change and break your words many times. This had better not be one of those times, because if it is and you wind up hurting Timmy again..
"You'll kill me?" said Remy.
"Killing you would be too easy," said A.J., "I'll send you to a place far use than death. It's a sector of space called the Delphic Expanse."
Perry the Platypus was back in his cage in the baggage car while Phineas was making his way back to his seat. It was now time for Phineas and Ferb to fulfill their destiny. Making sure he was alone, Perry pulled out his computer and tapped out something on the keyboard. The platypus clicked on the link that said The High Council.
"Is that supposed to mean something to me," said Remy, "how exactly is that worse than death?"
"Remy, the Delphic Expanse is a sector of space filled with anamolies, it is sort of a junction, or a meeting point, between the different universes. It's present in all of the universes and the fabric of space there is very weak. It's filled with magnetic storms which can cripple ships and it's been known to cause madness."
A.J. paused for the full effect to sink in.
"50 years ago a Bodacian ship entered it; when it came out the entire crew was anatomically inverted, literally turned inside out. Their internal organs were splayed open."
"That's a horrible way to die," said Winston.
"Winston, I never said they died," said A.J.
"But that would mean that...," said Remy.
"Yes, the crew was still alive with their internal organs on the outside," replied A.J.
I'm back. I promised you didn't have to wait to long. If you've noticed I made a reference to Star Trek: Enterprise with the Delphic Expanse I, also, made a reference to a Disney theory you can find on TVTropes. I hope A.J. didn't sound too overly harsh, but he's fed up with people trying to hurt his friends, especially, Timmy. Please read and review.
