Hello everyone, here is the next chapter!
I do hope you find this interesting and I hope you will enjoy it
Read and relax
Whitebeard sat out on deck, them just relaxing, when Ace came out, and he had a lot of questions right now. So, he looked at Ace. "So, you can leave anytime to… heaven?" Ace nodded. "Yes. We use our sword, but the travel is long unless on that island." Thatch frowned and looked at his sword. "How? Button?" Ace gave a dumb look. "Button? It is a sword. You do this." Ace then moved his sword up and closed his eyes, before he muttered something and then moved the sword in front of himself and cut the air, and a door appeared, making Ace nod. "That's how. And then you just walk in. But I can't, not for 6 damn months." That was long, especially as it was 6 years in that world, in heaven. And, Ace had two children and one on the way. Ace then moved his hand and the door disappeared.
Thatch nodded. "How about Hell?" Ace hummed. "Hell is a bit harder. But, Hell can come to you and take you back anywhere. If you escape illegally." Izou blinked. "You can escape illegally! You know what, I don't want to know." Ace chuckled. "There are rules in Heaven and Hell. It is bad to break them. Usually a sentence to the lowest depths of Hell." That probably made sense.
"So," Started Izou. "You were alive once? I mean, your parents." Ace shook his head. "No. My mom was dead when she had me. My dad wasn't. So, I wasn't dead either." Izou blinked. "What! Your mom was dead when she had you, but not you dad? How does that even work?" Ace frowned. "It is normal. But since my dad was not dead, I was born alive, but when I died, I got sent to Hell, and then I joined them, but then I didn't want to be with them, so I joined heaven." Thatch nodded. "So, you can still be with your parents? Your mom's dead." Ace shook his head. "No. Both got executed." Izou frowned. "How can you execute one who is already dead?" Ace shrugged. "You get sent to the lowest depths of Hell if you're already dead." Izou nodded. "What about your dad?" Ace shrugged. "Got sent to Hell, never cared much to be honest. Met him once, overrated. Nice man, but eh." Interesting. He wondered if he knew who this was. For some reason, he felt as if he did.
Ace was out a bit more, before he went to do something, and when he was gone, Deuce hummed. "You know, you ask the wrong questions." Whitebeard frowned. "What do you mean the wrong questions?" Deuce hummed again. "You ask about Heaven and Hell, but not why he saved Thatch." Thatch frowned. "I thought I was sent to Heaven?" Deuce nodded. "You were." Thatch looked confused. "Then how did he save me if I was in heaven?" Deuce nodded. "To be like us, you need to train and have certain powers, you didn't yet. And, Heaven is actually not that… heavenly. A lot of poverty and crime as it is overcrowded. That's why it took so long to find you."
Whitebeard frowned. "It took just a day?" Deuce shook his head. "Remember, one month here is one year there. It took many days, even though we had his body, which helps as a compass. A lot of fighting to find you. The residents aren't especially happy with us. Feels as if we should do more for them." He could maybe see that, if it was a bad place to be. "Why don't you?" Asked Izou, and Deuce hummed. "We can't. We can't just take people into our city, we need people who can fight and have powers. You can turn people by giving a sliver of your own powers, but that is very much illegal." Thatch frowned. "Wait… Ace gave me some of his powers?" Deuce nodded. "Yes, to awaken the powers you had. Everyone does, but some use years, decades or centuries, just to awaken it. Which most say is the hardest thing to do." This was all so interesting.
He looked at Deuce. "But then why? Why did Ace save Thatch?" Deuce hummed. "He likes you. We were just sent here to watch you, nothing more, not to interfere, but Ace felt he couldn't let Thatch die or waste away in heaven. Don't say I said this though." That did make sense, and he was glad, that Ace felt that. He had Thatch again. "And oh," Started Deuce. "If you find Teach and want revenge, let Ace at him. He can send him straight to Hell. So he doesn't by any chance wind up in Heaven." Izou frowned. "I feel like it is so easy to get to Heaven." Whitebeard felt too now. Deuce sighed. "It is. That's why it is so crowded." Jozu frowned. "That's… sad." Deuce nodded. "It is." Rakuyo looked at Deuce. "How old are you?" Deuce hummed. "Around 350." Whitebeard frowned. "So, you're older than Ace?" Deuce nodded. "Yes. But Ace is stronger, as he was half dead when born and always had a foot in Heaven and Hell." That made sense.
Whitebeard looked at Deuce. "What is Hell like? If you know." Deuce hummed. "It has 9 levels. If you just die, second level. Where you want to be. First is the worst actually. But the lowest comes at second. All the levels are open to each other and you can move upwards, if you survive. You die, boom, back to level 9. You can escape by going through level 1 and surviving, Ace did. But that is hard. But again, Ace had some powers when he died, the reason he was taken in by the Hell people. We call them just Hell people." Whitebeard nodded. "And now? What is he called now?" Deuce hummed. "He is a protector. Not a fancy name, but a name. We protect the rules and try to keep peace." Made sense.
It was quiet after that, and when Ace came back out on deck, Thatch looked at him. "Can we start training?" Ace nodded, before he hummed and made a movement towards Thatch's sword. "Your sword has a name, you need to figure that out, and you will get a hold of your full powers. Call it a second level of power, your full powers. You also need to know the name to send out a pulse." Thatch nodded. "Can you?" Ace hummed and half nodded. "Nah, I can use others' pulses against them. Can't make one. But I know my sword's name." When Ace didn't continue, Thatch spoke. "Which is what?" Ace hummed. "Secret. And if I say it, it activates it, and he is annoying." Thatch nodded. "So, it is a person? My sword?" Ace shook his head. "No can be anything. Hiro has a dragon. Mine just happens to be a human. You need to find out what it is and the name. Which takes some time. You need to connect to it." Thatch looked at his sword. "How do I speak to it?" Ace hummed. "You sit down, you put your sword in your lap, and you concentrate on it. And boom, you're inside your sword's mind." Thatch nodded. "Cool cool. Need to try." This was all so interesting.
He looked at Ace. "What if he has the same as you?" Ace hummed. "Same person? Which also means the same powers?" He nodded and Ace gave a chuckle. "You better hope not. If you do, you need to fight the one with the same powers and hope you will survive, which you won't, as you're weak." Thatch blinked. "Wait, what! Why!" Ace shrugged. "Rues. And oh, if two have the same one, it will leave one of them to die when the sword choses the person they want, so we just get ahead of that. The strongest wins." Thatch nodded. "So… no one has the same powers?" Ace shook his head. "Nope, everyone is special. I know one who had the same powers as another person, he died. Liked that guy too. Shame." That sounded harsh.
Ace then said a few more things, before they stopped for now, and when meal time was nearing, Thatch looked at Ace. "You're dead, do you need to eat?" Ace nodded: "Yes, I am able to starve to death. Although that takes longer than a living person." That was also weird. They then headed to meal after a bit, before they relaxed out on deck. They were close to an island, but they wouldn't dock there.
After a bit, Ace hummed as he stood up, heading towards the railing. "Aight, Imma head out. For a break. Head to the island there." Whitebeard frowned. "Why? What if I say no? You can't just steal a boat." Ace rolled his eyes. "I don't need a boat." Marco frowned. "What are you going to do? Walk on water, yoi?" Ace rolled his eyes again. "Walk on water? Can't do that." Then how would he? Ace hummed. "Can walk on air though." Thatch blinked. "Yeah, real funny." Ace shrugged. "Not kidding." Ace was then by the railing and took a step off, and he expected Ace to fall down, when he legit walked on, in the air, nothing underneath himself. Thatch blinked. "What! How!" Ace shrugged. "I am dead." Made maybe sense. Thatch blinked again. "Can I do that!" Ace hummed. "Yes, but not yet. Takes training. So, Imma head out. Bye." Ace then took a step and then he was gone, as if teleporting.
Ace was then gone for a while, before he returned after some hours, and Thatch looked at Ace. "How do I learn to teleport?" Ace blinked. "Teleport? No one can do that!" Thatch blinked. "But… you just did? When you headed to the island? You just disappeared." Ace hummed. "Didn't disappear. I just walked. I can just walk that fast." Thatch blinked. "You… walked?" Ace nodded "Yes. You will learn how, we legit just walk fast." Thatch blinked. "That is so cool! Teach me!" Ace hummed. "I have no clue how to teach that. I am not a teacher. I just learned it by watching others." Thatch nodded. "Oh… So, you can't teach me?" Ace shrugged,. "Probably can. Just try and watch and then you just walk, but you concentrate on it. Perks of being dead." Thatch nodded. "So, you're all just fast?" Ace nodded. "Yes, and I am not the fastest either. Many are faster than me. I know one man who is like super fast. And based on his build, you wouldn't have guessed it." This was so interesting. So many new things he didn't know.
And that's the chapter! Hope you enjoyed it
I hope this made more sense than the last one
