This mainly ties in with the Monsterverse, but for you really devoted Godzilla fans, I've decided to take the liberty to add a few fan favorites from the Toho movies as well (let's face it, they're too good to ignore. Most of them, at least).

A day later, Adrian sat alone in his personal lab. It was, in a word, cluttered; multiple blueprints and other random papers were scattered all over the tables and around the one large computer in the center of one of the desks. The only source of any organization came in the form of a whiteboard on the far end of the room along with a map of the world and a blueprint showing the mechanized kaiju he had secretly been searching for for the past five years. He had drawn all over both the map and the whiteboard as he kept finding clues to its location, but he had also discovered something else in the process, something that shocked him so much, he wasn't sure if he should share it with anybody yet: Earth has its own kaiju.

According to an organization known as Monarch, these so called "Titans" were the planet's original alpha species, and were so powerful, just one of them could create a natural disaster on a massive scale. Through his computer hijacking runs, he had picked up a lot o data on multiple Titans, whose locations he marked on the map, along with different names: Anguirus, Behemoth, Baragon, Scylla, Rodan, Kong, among many others. However, there was one titan who seemed to have more research done on it than any other titan, and his name was marked in bold letters. on the whiteboard: GODZILLA.

According to some files, humanity had tried to create a cybernetic replica of Godzilla, which unfortunately went haywire and would have destroyed a whole city of not for the combined efforts of Godzilla and Kong, the two Alpha Titans. The blueprint Adrian had was a design for a second model, this one piloted by Jaeger tech, but with similar weaponry and a slightly modified look. It had finished construction, but never saw actual combat. The Titans, however, much to humanity's surprise, began killing the kaiju off more effectively than any Jaeger ever could; it was clear the Titans wanted the kaiju off of their territory.

Adrian had written multiple important facts on the whiteboard from his file readings, along with some questions he needed answered:

Titans = Protectors of Earth

Why didn't they come here to The Black?

Where are they!?

And this one written at the very center: JAEGER KAIJU IN AUSTRAILIA! WHERE EXACTLY?

This was recently discovered from the files he had taken recently. Apparently, Monarch and the PPDC had worked on three mecha projects, most of whom he couldn't find designs for, only names: "Moguera" and then, the most classified and hidden of all, something called "Jaguar". It was a lot to take in, and Adrian eventually decided he needed more information before he told anyone.

Suddenly, a sharp knock was heard at his door, startling him out of his thoughts.

"Who is it?" he asked.

"It's Joel" came a voice from the other end, "You got a sec?"

Adrian relaxed, aside from Mei, Joel was the only other one in the camp he considered a friend, with both of them being incredibly knowledgeable when it came to Jaeger tech. Adrian walked over and opened the door to see Joel. "What's uuuuu-OH MY GOD!"

Sitting some distance behind Joel was a massive orange and blue Jaeger. It was missing an arm, but Adrian recognized it all too well.

"Is that…Atlas Destroyer?" Adrian gasped. Joel nodded. "Shane needs me fixing it (not sure how considering I nearly fried my brain trying to drift with a lot of guys earlier). He wants you to keep an eye on our new friends, make sure they don't get into places they shouldn't."

Adrian raised a questioning eyebrow. "And where are they now?"

"Just down in that building there" Joel pointed to one of the portable shelters.

Adrian nodded, thanked Joel for the advice, then walked down to the building. When he went in, he only saw the girl with the blonde hair and the boy with the oddly colored skin and hair, the latter which was walking around curiously, as if all if it was completely new to him.

Adrian waved as he sat in the chair across from the girl. "How's it going?"

"Well, I can't complain" the girl replied as she watched the boy.

"I'm Adrian, by the way."

"I'm Hayley. That's Boy."

"Boy?"

Hayley shrugged, "My brother and I kinda found him in a PPDC facility and he doesn't really talk, so we don't really know his name."

Adrian nodded in understanding. "Right. Where is your brother, by the way?"

"He's up helping fix Atlas Destroyer." Hayley explained, "The other guy messed up his brain after trying to drift with too many guys, so Taylor has to help him secretly."

"Secretly? Isn't it your Jaeger though?"

Hayley's face became worried. "Technically, yes, but Shane doesn't want us near it for some reason. There's just something off about this place."

Adrian thought for a moment. Hayley probably was on to something; Shane always did seem a bit…edgy, especially around him and Mei when it came to them heading out on missions.

"Now that you mention it, he does seem a bit weird at times when I left camp. Almost like there was something he didn't want me to see. But what?"

Hayley shrugged, "All I know is that this place might not be as safe as it seems."

Adrian nodded, then decided to change the subject. "So, what are you guys doing all the way out here."

Hayley nervously rubbed the back of her head. "It's a long story."

"I got plenty of time."

Hayley then launched into her and Taylor's story: how their parents went off and disappeared, how the sibilngs' home was destroyed by a kaiju, and how they piloted Atlas Destroyer into the city where they found Boy. It was getting dark by the time she finished.

Adrian stroked his chin. "Interesting."

"So, what's your story?" Hayley asked.

Adrian was about to answer, but just then, the door opened as a mercenary stuck his head through. "Adrian."

Adrian rolled his eyes. "What now, Rickter?"

"Shane wants to see you."

Adrian sighed in mild frustration before standing up. "Well, nice meeting with you Hayley."

Hayley smiled and nodded. "You too."

Adrian nodded in return before walking out of the building. Rickter then said, "He's waiting in your lab."

Adrian's heart froze; what the hell was he doing in there?! However, he managed to keep a straight face before walking towards his lab, not quite knowing what would happen next.

Some miles out of the ruined city, an Acid Quill wandered aimlessly in front of a cliff face, seeking the next meal. Suddenly, it heard a massive roar nearby and turned its head towards the source of the roar; it knew that wasn't a kaiju roar. Before it could react, a dark shape swooped down from above as the Warbat ambushed it, wrapping its body around the kaiju and folding its wings over it, stabbing it with its wing spikes. Acid Quill thrashed around, slamming into the nearby cliff in an attempt to dislodge the attacker. However, as bits and pieces of the cliff fell away, it was soon revealed that the Warbat had played Acid Quill like a damn fiddle; it had sensed a fellow Titan slumbering in the cliff and was using Acid Quill to wake him up.

Acid Quill finally managed to free his secondary tentacles and grabbed Warbat, unwrapping him and bringing him face to face. The two roared in defiance to each other before being interrupted by a third roar coming from the cliff as the Titan emerged: a deep brown crocodilian with multiple horns lining its head like a crown and an armored back full of spikes.

Anguirus.

Acid Quill turned to look as the Titan immediately lashed out grabbing its head with its front legs and chomping down on its neck. Acid Quill tried to retaliate, but its movements slowed down as the venom from the Warbat's wing spikes kicked in.

Both Titans now had their chance; the each grabbed one of Acid Quill's tentacles and pulled in opposite directions. After a few seconds, a sickening crack is heard as the Acid Quill's arms tear off in a spray of blue blood. Acid Quill weakly roared in pain, but was cut short as Anguirus stomped on its head, flattening it and killing the kaiju.

With the Acid Quill dead, the two Titans looked at each other and narrowed their eyes, not in a challenge but in proposal of an alliance; they both had a common enemy and they knew it. They also sensed something else in the air. Something was keeping the others out; something was keeping HIM out. Neither Warbat nor Anguirus knew what it was, but the both knew it had to be dealt with. Looking towards the horizon, both Titans let out a roar as Warbat flew off, while Anguirus kept pace on the ground, rolling himself into a spiky ball and rolling along.

And it was only a matter of time before the others followed, and when they did, the planet would belong to the Titans once again…

If any of you have a favorite Toho kaiju you would like to see in a future chapter, feel free to let me know in a review and I will look into it (assuming I haven't added them in already)

Let me know what you think so far
