Mechagodzilla was the first to drive a fist towards Biollante, only to get knocked back by one of the creature's vine arms. As it got back up, Jet Jaguar rushed forward, a metallic spear deploying from his back. With seemingly unnatural agility, he dodged the incoming vines and leapt up, driving the spear into Biollante's head. Biollante reared it's head, roaring in pain, but it showed no signs of dying. Rather, it reached up with its vines and slapped Jet Jaguar to the ground.
Mei growled as Mechagodzilla stood up. "This thing can really take a beating!"
Adrian began activating some of the mech's weapons, "We just need to get it to its limit!"
Mechagodzilla raised its arms, various missile launchers deploying on its arms and back. After a few careful moments to aim, it fired a massive salvo, engulfing Biollante in a fiery explosion. However, not even this seemed to slow the creature down as it rose from the smoke, smoldering in a few places, but very much alive and very angry. Taylor's mother piloted the jet forward, making a bombing pass above Biollante. As the jet's payload exploded around the monster, Biollante reached up with its vines.
"Mom, look out!" Taylor yelled over the coms. The jet narrowly missed the vines. However, this gave Mechagodzilla and Jet Jaguar the opportunity to charge the creature, driving their blade weapons into the plant-like base. Growling in anger, Biollante turned towards the mech and opened its mouth before releasing a burst of sap. Jet Jaguar managed to get out of the way, but Mechagodzilla was not as fast, and it's arm got coated in the stuff, which hardened upon contact, trapping the mech's arm.
"Dammit!" Adrian shouted, "Don't let that sap hit you!"
Mechagodzilla slammed its trapped arm against the ground, trying to free its arm. Meanwhile, the drill rig opened various hatches and sprouted missile launchers of its own. It unleashed its own volley on Biollante, hitting it across the face. When the smoke cleared, Taylor and his father could see Biollante glaring at them with its pale, yellow eyes.
"Well, I think we only pissed it off." Taylor growled. Suddenly, Boy's face grew angry and he ran out of the cockpit of the rig.
"Boy, get back here!" Taylor shouted, but to no avail. Moments later, Boy appeared out of the exit hatch and faced Biollante, his eyes glowing blue. He then ran forward and leapt off of the rig, changing into his kaiju form before charging the monster. Biollante's vines surged forward, but Boy's smaller size allowed him to dodge the attack and jump directly onto Biollante's face, pounding at it with his fists.
The Kai just sisters watching from the cliff grew agitated.
"The kaiju messiah attacks Biollante?!" The lead sister gasped, "Why?"
Mechagodzilla finally freed its arm and, seeing Boy battling Biollante, charged forward, its blades extended, and Jet Jaguar close behind. The two mechs jumped at Biollante driving blade after blade into its body. Having been distracted by Boy, Biollante never saw the attack coming, and became even more enraged.
Suddenly, it grabbed Jet Jaguar with a vine and threw him into a nearby cliff, burying it under rubble. It then whipped its head around, throwing Boy to the ground before turning its attention to Mechagodzilla. It's vines surged forward, and Mechagodzilla grabbed two. The other two, however, hit their mark, and Mechagodzilla stumbled back from the blow. Taking the opportunity, Biollante wrapped its vines around the mech strangling it at it brought the mech to its mouth.
Inside the cockpit, Arian and Mei struggled at the controls, but Biollante's grip was too tight. Just then, Adrian found a lower switch and hit it out of desperation. Suddenly, a massive blast of electricity flared from the mech and over Biollante, causing it to shriek in pain and drop Mechagodzilla.
"Nice one." Mei told Adrian.
"Ok, to be honest" Adrian replied, "I didn't even know it could do that."
The two then looked up to see Biollante glaring down at them. Boy jumped in between the two and roared in defiance at Biollante, though this only made Biollante raise its vines again to strike.
Suddenly it stopped as a new scent caught it off guard. It turned toward the source, only to be blasted by a stream of blue, fiery energy that pushed it back several yards. The mechs all looked confused, but Boy began to whimper in fear, a fear the Kaiju sisters shared as a familiar and dreaded roar echoed through the battlefield...and Godzilla himself stepped in to join the fight.

Adrian wasn't sure what to expect when he thought of Godzilla, but he knew any expectation he would have had would have been dominated by the Titan that stood before him. The sheer size, the power that radiated from him. Everything screamed "king". Godzilla glared at Biollante with a fierce fire in his eyes, and those watching saw that this wasn't just any king, this was a warlord who was not afraid to tear his enemies limb from limb.
Godzilla let out another roar before charging Biollante, who roared in return before sending its vines forward, wrapping them around the Titan. Godzilla seemed unfazed as a blue glow raced up his dorsal spikes. Before Biollante realized what was happen ring, Godzilla fired his atomic laser, the blue beam causing Biollante's skin to blister and boil. The kaiju shrieked in pain before Godzilla, now released from the vines, rushed it, clawing at the plant monster's throat.
Jet Jaguar had also finally pulled himself from the rubble in time to see Godzilla enter the battle. Taking his opportunity, the robot rushed back into the fray, this time jabbing his spear at Biollante's glowing core. A light, orange liquid flowed out of the wound as Biollante tried to retaliate, but Godzilla was not going to give it that luxury. He repeatedly continued his assault, slashing at Biollante's face over and over. Just then, he noticed the orange liquid and got an idea, the same time that Mechagodzilla stood back up, ready for action.
Mei activated the mech's arm blades. "Looks like we found a weak spot."
Adrian nodded, his expression determined. "Then let's exploit it."
Mechagodzilla rushed forward, jabbing the blade into the core wound and ripping down, opening it further. It stepped out of the way just in time as Godzilla charged up his laser and fired at the now gaping hole. Suddenly, Biollante's core burst into flames, the liquid inside must've been flammable, and Biollante shrieked in agony before seeming to disintegrate into golden dust that rose into the clouds and out of sight, leaving only the mechs alone with Godzilla.
"Everyone okay?" Mei asked over the coms. Everyone replied that they were fine, but then Mei and Adrian noticed Godzilla staring at them for a very tense few moments.
Godzilla remembered a being like this from years ago, and it tried to kill him. However, the last one had a different smell to it, so Godzilla wasn't sure what to make of this one. Finally, it decided this one wasn't worth the trouble as it didn't attack him, and diverted his attention to Boy, still in his kaiju form. Taylor grew worried as Godzilla looked down on Boy, who wouldn't even look the Titan in the eyes. Then, to everyone's surprise, Boy knelt down before Godzilla.
This was a surprise to even the King, but it was a welcome one; one more subject under his command. To further drive the point, Godzilla roared at Boy, cementing his dominance over the smaller kaiju.
"Well," Adrian said, "Didn't see that coming"
"You and me both" Mei agreed.
Just then, the mechs and vehicles got a call from command to return to base, which they promptly did. Godzilla, however, stayed behind in thought. He had never seen a creature like Biollante before, and something told him this wouldn't be the last time he encountered new monsters. Though he hated to admit it, he would need serious help, and with Mothra still dormant, there was only one Titan he trusted to aid him.
Charging up his atomic breath, he fired into the ground, drilling down in a continuous blast. It was going to be a while before he reached the one he sought, but he could be patient. It would all pay off when the King of the Hollow Earth rose to aid him in his fight...
