Hailey walked through the waist deep water as she nervously approached Mothra's cocoon. The Twins flanked it, gesturing her over.

"Place your hand on the cocoon." Maina advised, "and she will be able to speak with you."

Hailey nodded in acknowledgement as she stopped directly in front of it. Taking a few deep breaths to calm herself, she reached out and placed her hand fully on the cocoon's silky surface. Suddenly, a blue energy began weaving its way down her arm. Hailey shouted in surprise, finding herself unable to remove her arm fast enough before the energy reached her head.

Suddenly a voice echoed through her head with a gentle tone. "Hello, little one."

Hailey gasped as she heard the voice. "M-Mothra?"

"Yes." the voice replied, "it seems you have finally found me, thanks to my priestesses."

Hailey nodded. "I...had a dream, and you were in it..."

"I know" Mothra said, "I sent you that dream."

"But why? Why me?"

"Because I have seen your progress. You're caring spirit may be what we need to avoid the coming threat."

Hailey thought back to the shadowy creature that grabbed Boy in her dream. "The three headed monster?"

Mothra's voice grew more serious. "Yes. An ancient enemy to our kind, and he is returning. You may be our one hope of stopping it, and the one you call Boy is the key."

Hailey's mind was running with questions. "But how? What do you mean Boy is the key?"

"All will be revealed in due time. Right now, it is almost time for me to emerge. I sense Battra has already gained his full power. My King is amassing his army, and I must be there to help restore order. Remain here with me. I will carry you back to your family."

With that, the energy dissipated, and Hailey stumbled back. The Twins managed to catch her before she fell into the water and helped her regain her senses.

"What did she say?" They asked.

Hailey shook her head to clear her senses. "S-she said she is emerging soon, but she didn't say how soon, and she told me to wait here."

The Twins looked at the cocoon and then to each other. Miana suddenly ran towards the village.

"Wait" Hailey said, "where is she going?"

"To get the others" Maina explained, "I feel Mothra is about to emerge."

A roar was heard as King Caesar emerged seeming to wait by the side of the water, confirming Marina's belief. Quickly, she ushered Hailey out of the water. Just in time too as the moonlight shining down, fell on the cocoon, which began to pulse with blue light. The other villagers began running up to the site, Miana leading them. As they watched to cocoon, they began to murmur amongst themselves excitedly as the Twins both held hands, stepping into the water.

As Hailey watched, the Twins slowly approached the cocoon before stopping halfway. They the closed their eyes before raising their free hands. They then began to sing the song Hailey recognized from the temple.

Mosura ya Mosura.

Dongan kasakuyan indo muu

Rusuto uiraandoa, hanba hanbamuyan, randa banunradan

Tounjukara

Kasaku yanmnu!

The others began to join in the chant as the pulsing got brighter, and soon Hailey found herself singing along just as a crack appeared in the cocoon, and an insect pod leg emerged. As Hailey watched in awe, the rest of the creature emerged, appearing just as it had in her dream. Once its body fully emerged, Hailey could sense Mothra's gaze on her as she unfolded her massive wings, which continued giving off a radiant light.

King Caesar bellowed in triumph to see her emerge. But all Hailey could do was stare in utter amazement as Mothra let out a piercing cry. The Queen had emerged...

...

Back in Australia, Hana Serizawa paced the control room in growing anxiety. Yun had just approached her with an almost horrifying predicament concerning Mechagodzilla. She didn't want to think about the possibility of it being true, but if it was...

No she couldn't bother herself with that right now. Kong and his personal hunting dog, Okeneba, had just emerged, teaming up with Godzilla. Meanwhile, Varan and Ridge Jaw had just ripped up another pack of Kaiju. If that wasn't enough, two more Titans had just appeared off the coast, close to the Monarch base. Too many things were happening at once, and she didn't need anything else bothering her right now.

A voice startled her out of her thoughts. "Everything ok?"

Hana looked to see Adrian and Mei enter the room. "Oh, we'll, to be honest, I'm not sure. With so many Titans appearing in such a short amount of time...I'm not sure if we'll be able to make it through what's coming."

"We made it this far." Mei argued.

"But this was just the beginning." Hana told the ex-mercenary, "You've only seen a small fraction of what Godzilla is capable of, and not even we know his full limits. His name means 'God reborn' for a reason. If the fighting continues, he may show more of his true power; something we may not be ready for."

This did unsettle the two Mechagodzilla pilots. If what Godzilla used against Biollante was only a fraction of his true power, then what was that monster truly capable of...

"And there's another thing" Hana continued, "I was told of your issue with Mechagodzilla, and after some consideration, I advise piloting him again."

This shocked Adrian. "What? Why?"

Hana's face remained calm. "Kiryu's programming is evolving on its own. We don't know how, but it may be gaining sentience."

Mei's eyes widened. "You mean it...has a mind of its own?"

"It may have developed one, yes. If this is true, then there's no telling what another drift will do to both of your minds. We can't afford to lose pilots of your skill."

The two pilots let this sink in for a few minutes. Then, Mei spoke up. "I...guess that's a good enough reason."

Adrian nodded in understanding, though it was unclear if he fully agreed. "But what will we pilot then?"

Hana opened a file on a nearby tablet. "There is another project we have been working on, called Project Resurrection. It's main purpose was to salvage or reconstruct and improve old Jaegers, though so far we've only been able to get one operational. Maybe you recognize it?"

Adrian took the tablet to look at the file...and almost dropped the tablet in shock. Mei looked over to, becoming equally surprised.

Adrian looked at Hana. "Tell me this isn't what I think it is..."

Hana chuckled in amusement. "You recognize it?"

Before Adrian could respond, alarms suddenly began flaring all over the base.

"Multiple objects incoming!" One of the men in the control room shouted. No sooner did he say this did over a dozen mechs drop down in front of the base. Each one looked exactly the same, almost like Mechagodzilla, but far clunkier, as if Mechagodzilla was made on a lower budget(Showa era Mechagodzilla).

"The hell?!" Mei shouted, "Are those ours?"

Hana's face was pale. "No...they're not..."

Suddenly, a larger Mechagodzilla flew down, landing at the front of the group. This one was better made, with more rounded armor and sporting twin cannons on its shoulders(Heisei MechaG). Everyone stared in growing anxiety at the mechs before a voice came over the coms, coming from the leader. "Surprise, Monarch!"

Adrian and Mei gasped in horror; it was Shane piloting the lead mech!

Shane chuckled. "You really thought we wouldn't think of taking a page out of your book, eh? Granted the Kaiju Sisters don't have the resources you do, but these mechs are armed to the teeth and ready to tear this place apart unless you give us one thing."

Hana cautiously went to the com station and replied, "What is it you want?"

"Simple. I'm told you're housing a boy there who's...part kaiju. The Sisters want him brought to them; they got something quite spectacular planned for him. Turn him over and this place goes unharmed."

The room was silent for a moment. Suddenly, Adrian stormed over to the coms, his tone furious. "Shane, you absolute son of a bitch!"

Shane's voice held a twinge of surprise. "Adrian? That you mate? I assume Mei's with you?"

"Piss off, Shane!" Mei shouted from across the room. It was unclear whether Shane heard it or not.

"If you think I'm trusting anything you say," Adrian continued, "You're dead wrong!"

"I did what needed to be done! You were a problem I needed out of the way."

This made both Adrian and Mei angrier, with the former leaning down towards the microphone. "You want Boy? You gotta go through me."

There was some nervous discussion among the others in the control room, and even Hana looked uneasy, but Adrian and Mei were firm; it was clear no one was changing their mind.

"Let me guess..." Shane said, "with your shiny new mech?"

Adrian grinned. "You bet. It's not joke either."

Hana leaned over to Mei. "But Mecahgodzilla-"

Mei cut her off. "Shane doesn't know that."

However, it didn't seem like Shane cared if this was the case or not. "Well, guess I won't let you get into it then."

The connection cut out before the army of smaller Mechagodzillas raised their arms, prepping their missiles built into their fingers. Everyone in the control room began panicking as Hana ordered the blast shields to activate over the base, shielding them. She then turned on a personal radio. "Otaki, get Jet Jaguar up and ready! We got a fight on our hands. Moguera, deploy alongside him!"

She then turned to Adrian, her face stern. "I wanted to solve this diplomatically, but looks like you've left us no choice."

"You don't know him like I do" Adrian growled, "he's a lunatic."

Hana simply sighed before handing him a card. "Go to level 16. The Jaeger's there. Get it activated and drive that bastard out of here!"

Adrian nodded before he and Mei sprinted down the corridor towards level 16...but they weren't the only ones getting ready.

Down in the mech hangar, Kiryu had listened in on the entire conversation between Adrian and Shane through the coms channel. Thank you Adrian and Mei drifting with it, it recalled all their memories of Shane. It recognized his voice...and it hated it with a fiery fury. Wielth everyone scrambling above, Mechagodzilla's eyes flared to life as it decided to take matters into its own hands, but it wasn't quite finished. It could also see other parts of the compound, including my a particular cyborg Titan that could prove an ally.

Mechagodzilla diverted a surge of its power to wake it up before fully coming to life, tearing off its restraints before letting out a mechanized roar and heading for the hangar doors. As engineers scrambled to safety from Kiryu's escape and the attackers above fired their first volley, deep in a lower level of the hangar, a visor flared with a blood red color; Gigan had awakened...
