So i just finished Season 2 of Pacific Rim: The Black, and I'll admit...that got intense. However, it does provide some complications with this story so I'll probably not be following its story much. However, the "lead Kaiju Sister" I had been referring to is the High Priestess we saw in Season 2 and expect Apex to have some impact as well (though that was planned long before Season 2 came out). Not only that, but I am planning for one final group to be introduced in this crossover, which you'll see in this chapter. Apologies in advance for not following Season 2; it was a great season, but I am just too far into this story to make changes that big.

As Gypsy Danger and Jet Jaguar returned to the hangar, Hana Serizawa was summoned to the meeting room, standing alone and facing the projector screen, which showed various feeds from the officials behind both Monarch and the Jaeger programs. The most prominent of the screens showed Jake Pentecost, the current commander of the Jaeger program, and the other showed Dr. Mark Russell, a major figure in Monarch.

"We just received word of the attack." Jake said, "Is everything alright?"

"Thankfully" Hana replied, "Gypsy performed beautifully, as did Moguera and Jet Jaguar."

"And yet Mechagodzilla and Gigan escaped." Mark pointed out.

"It was unexpected" Hana admitted, "But they are on our side. I believe they are no threat."

Mark didn't seem convinced. "How so?"

"Mechagodzilla had bonded to two of our pilots before it developed sentience, and it seems to share the same memories because of it, so it sees our enemies as its enemies. As for Gigan, for the moment, he seems to be following Mechagodzilla's lead, since it was Mechagodzilla that woke him up."

"Where are they now?" one of the officials asked.

Hana sighed. "We don't know. Last our trackers could see they were heading inland before their signals went out. It seems that Mechagodzilla has disabled his tracker."

Mark seemed concerned, but Pentecost cut him off before he could say any more. "It doesn't matter if they pose no immediate threat. What matters is what we decide to do now. The kaiju boy you told us of is now in the grasp of the Sisters, though what for, we don't yet know."

"There's more" Hana chimed in, "Godzilla and Kong have joined forces, and the continent is seeing more Titans arrive everyday. He's preparing for something."

Mark nodded in agreement. "I've noticed. Manda and Tiamat have recently been seeing heading toward your area, but they're not making landfall, instead sticking to the coastline."

This caught Pentecost's interest. "You think they're preventing more kaiju from coming in?"

"No, I think Godzilla's setting a trap, sealing the kaiju in so he and his army can rip them apart. He obviously knows something we don't, and if Kong's involved, then things just got a lot more serious. They're preparing for all-out war."

A Jaeger program representative from Japan then spoke up. "Perhaps it's time to use our new weapons?"

This caught Hana off guard. "What weapons?"

Jake Pentecost sighed, his face a bit grim. "IT's nothing you need concern yourself with. All you need to know is we've been developing a new type of Jaeger.

Mark grunted. "The only downside is that they are owned by the military, which means they're gonna be real pains in the ass."

Hana thought over their current situation. "Well, I suppose I will take any help I can get at this point, but I'll do what we can."

Jake Pentecost seemed satisfied by this. "Good. Just make sure that whatever the Sisters have planned for that boy...do not let it happen. Good luck."

Hana nodded her thanks before the screens turned off, signaling the meeting had ended. Just then, Madsion burst in through the doors, holding a tablet.

"We got a problem." She told Hana, showing her the screen. It only confirmed what Pentecost had said; a Category 6 kaiju had been detected in a canyon some miles out.

"A cateogry 6!?" she exclaimed, but Madison's visible concern didn't let up.

"Not just that." she corrected, showing a red cloud approaching Breacher. As Hana read the second reading, she blanched, recognizing the signature all too well; she had seen it once before in Isla Del Mara. But what was it doing here? Hana realized the situation had just gotten a whole lot worse.

"Is Gypsy ready for redeployment?" she asked.

"I'm not sure." Madison admitted.

"Well then, figure it out! We need to get someone over there now!"

The pure fear was evident in her voice, and Madison knew why; immediately, she ran out of the room to see if Gypsy was ready.

...

Out in the canyon, Breacher simply lumbered on its way. Unlike other kaiju, Breacher was sent here with one purpose: destroy the one killing off the other kaiju, Godzilla. However, it wasn't expecting to find the bones of dozen of Rippers and several other kaiju in this canyon. It was immediately clear this was not Godzilla's doing; the bones had no scorch marks, which would have shown due to Godzilla's atomic ray. As Breacher looked closer at the bones of a Raiju, it seemed as if these kajiu had been completely stripped of flesh, like when piranhas swarm a meal and pick it clean. Flying above, a Kaiju Sister rode one of the Gyaos, keeping an eye on Breacher and watching intently. Behind her on the saddle sat a small, bomb-like device, meant to weaken Godzilla enough for Breacher to finish him off, or so that was the plan.

Suddenly, Breacher felt a searing pain in his legs, and looked down to see a swarm of red, hellish, crab-like monsters begin appearing from various nooks and crannies in the rocks and swarming up its legs, biting into it. Breacher roared in pain and fury, smashing and swiping at the creatures.. Hundreds were crushed or killed, yet hundreds more still came.

Some distance away, Gypsy crouched behind a rock formation at the top of the cliff as it watched. Inside the cockpit, Mei and Adrian looked on in relative shock.

"I've never seen anything like that." Adrian gasped, "There was no record I had seen of a swarm like that."

Hana replied over the coms. "That's because this was kept strictly off-book. These creatures mutated in the seas that had been ravaged by the military's Oxygen Destroyer. They can survive without oxygen, but we're admittedly not sure of their full capabilities."

"Oh, wonderful" Mei sarcastically remarked, "So what do we do?"

"Just stay hidden and continue reconnaissance. Do not engage unless absolutely necessary."

"Look!" Adrian suddenly shouted. In the air, the Kaiju Sister had begun activating the device; it seemed that it was try and save Breacher now so he could have a chance against Godzilla, or have him get swarmed by these new creatures.

Gypsy instinctively ducked behind the rocks as the Sister dropped the weapon, which went off with a binding blue flash the second it made contact with the ground. The resulting explosion sent a shockwave throughout the whole canyon, but Gypsy was barely affected thanks to its cover. slowly, it peeked back out to see the result of the detonation as the dust began to die down. Breacher still stood, a bit fazed, but unharmed. The red creatures were nowhere to be seen. The Sister breathed a sigh of relief, before telepathically signaling Breacher to continue its advance.

"Well, that was different." Mei said.

"Yeah." Adrian agreed. "The Sisters really are desperate."

Mei nodded. "We should get out of here."

Gypsy turned to leave when its sensors suddenly started going crazy, picking up a new energy surge. Breacher also seemed to sense this, turning back to the place where the swarm had attacked him and seeing a red cloud begin to swirl, golden lighting flickering across it as the sound of crunching shells and flesh could be heard from within. Not even the Kaiju Sister knew what was about to happen, but she soon realized that the bomb she dropped to kill the swarm inadvertently made things a lot worse.

As the red cloud expanded, a massive, demonic, red wing appeared, followed by another, all as the silhouette of a massive creature formed. The creature then flapped its wings, dissipating the cloud and revealing its full form. Both Gypsy's pilots as well as the Kaiju Sister gasped in utter horror at the monstrosity they saw now. It matched Breacher in height, and was covered in thick, red plates of natural armor. It's arms and legs were bulky, but powerful. Most terrifying was its head; it looked like a creature straight out of hell; a red crown-like frill and golden horn on its head to top it all off.

"Hana..." Adrian gasped, "Are you seeing this?"

Hana was equally horrified as she watched from a screen back in the base's control room. Taylor stood with her.

"What the hell is that?" Taylor asked, "A new species?"

"It seems like it." Hana replied, "Gypsy, get out of there!"

"Don't need to tell me twice." Adrian quickly said. Immediately, Gypsy stood up and started running back to base just as Breacher, sensing a threat, charged the new creature. The two collided with a lot of force, creating a shockwave that temporarily knocked Gypsy off its feet. Gypsy looked back to see the battle unfold as it stood back up.

Breacher seemed to be the faster creature, driving blow after blow to the monster, but it seemed to do little damage, and the new creature simply looked at Breacher, barely flinching as its armor absorbed the blows. Breacher finished his attack with a blow across the face, which did catch the creature off guard, but as Breacher watched, it simply turned back to look at him, its pure yellow eyes radiating with hate. It balled up its own fist and struck Breacher in the chest, sending the kaiju staggering back, though Breacher's own armor seemed to hold up as well. Angered at such a difficult opponent, Breacher lunged forward, only for the new creature to lash out with a spiky tail, catching it in the neck with the claw at the end and lifting Breacher off the ground as the creature approached, its horn glowing and crackling with electricity. Before Breacher could respond, the creature fired a bold of energy from its horn, searing and blackening Breacher's chest.

The kaiju roared in pain, but the new creature wasn't finished. It reached out with its claws, stabbing them into the area affected by the beam. It's claws dug right into Breacher's armor as the creature tore it off in a spray of blue kaiju blood. Breacher desperately tried to fight its way out of the creature's hold and finally landed a kick right at the creature's face, briefly stunning it and causing it to let go of the kaiju. Taking the opportunity, Breacher began punching it in the face repeatedly, putting it on the defensive before finishing with an uppercut that sent it on its back.

"Yes! Kill the intruder!" the Kaiju Sister egged on. Breacher pounced onto the new creature, preparing to continue its assault when it suddenly felt a searing pain on its back as multiple bolts of lightning struck it. Breacher looked up just in time to see Battra swoop down, shrieking as it struck Breacher on the face with his claws. Angered, Breacher swiped up at the sky as Battra darted around him, striking the kaiju with lightning with each pass. The new creature had regained his senses, seeing Battra attacking Breacher. Seeing its opportunity, the creature lunged forward, catching Breacher in the neck and tearing its neck with its teeth. Breacher stumbled back, bleeding and weak, but the Sister had one last trick. She pulled out a smaller device from a pouch on the Gyaos saddle and hit a button on it. Suddenly, a, orange rift formed underneath Breacher, sucking the kaiju in before closing and disappearing.

The two Titans were disappointed at being robbed of the kill, but Battra's frustration was overcome by curiosity of the newcomer. He gots its attention with a roar and began attempting to communicate. Much to Gypsy's surprise, the creature responded. It was clear to the two Gypsy pilots that this was a Titan, and not an alien kaiju.

"Well," Adrian said, "At least we know it hates kaiju. Guess its on our side."

Mei shook her head. "For now. Let's just get out of here. I don't want to push our luck."

Gypsy continued running off, but this time, the Kaiju Sister saw them, recognizing the Jaeger.

"The first heretic" she growled, before spurring her Gyaos mount in pursuit of it, unaware of the streaking glow coming in from the sky...

Gypsy continued on its way for some time before its sensors detected the object, and it looked up to observe it.

"Some kind of meteor?" Mei asked.

Adrian got a closer look through the scanners. "I don't know. I've never seen meteors give off this kind of energy."

Mei looked at the readings too. "Let's just keep an eye on it."

The clouds were beginning to turn the sky grey when Gypsy Danger reached the base, Hana contacted them over their coms. "Took you long enough."

"We got distracted." Adrian replied, "What the hell was that thing?"

"I don't know; it's a new species of Titan. Our researchers have given it the name Destroyah, pretty fitting considering how it fought. It seems like he and Battra have made an alliance for the time being so we're going to continue monitoring them."

"Fine by me." Mei said, "But I could really use a break."

"You'll have one." Hana replied, "You both have done very well."

"Yeah" Adrian said, smiling at Mei, "We do make a hell of a team, don't we."

Mei smirked back but said nothing. Just then, an unusual sound echoed from the clouds. Gypsy stopped in its tracks, looking up to see a shimmering glow coming from the clouds.

"That's not the meteor from before." Mei observed.

"Is anyone else seeing this?" Adrian asked over the coms.

There was no response, everyone both in the control room and outside heard the sound and looked to the clouds mesmerized by the light.

"What is that?" Taylor asked.

Hana felt a smile creep up on her face; she knew this glow all too well. "I do believe things have just taken a turn for the better."

Suddenly the clouds rumbled as the light intensified before shooting out in a brilliant flash, sending the clouds away as a high-pitched cry echoed from the light. Gypsy raised a hand to block out the light as it looked, finally seeing the form of a giant moth, wreathed in light, hovering in the sky in front of them.

Adrian and Mei were at loss for words.

"It's...beautiful." Mei finally said.

Adrian nodded. "Mothra. Queen of the Monsters."

"But that means..." Mei began, "Hayley."

Adrian realized what she meant. "She's back!"

Gypsy them immediately ran for the hangar as Mothra came to land in front of the base. A few minutes later, Adrian and Mei were able to leave the Jaeger as it docked and ran out to the helipad, where Taylor already stood, watching as Mothra, having dimmed her light considerably, lowered her head for Hayley, followed by the Twins, to disembark. Hayley immediately ran to Taylor and embraced him.

"Been a while sis" Taylor chuckled before looking up at Mothra, "So that's her."

Hayley nodded. "She's gonna help us protect Boy."

Adrian cringed. "Yeah, about that..."

Hayley then looked worried. "What happened?"

Taylor nervously rubbed the back of his head. "Let's just say a lot happened while you were gone..."

Ok, so before anyone hates on me for how I wrote Destroyah, let me explain. He's still a Titan in this story, so Battra can communicate with him. Since Destroyah is a newer species, he's still learning about everything, which Battra is helping with. Yes, he's going to be on the more heroic side, but its more like an anti-hero. This is to set up a different battle later. That being said, I do have a poll concerning this story on my profile page for you to give your opinion on an idea I've been bouncing around for this story.

That being said, let me know what you think so far!
