Naruto walked through the mental library and archives of jutsu, history, ninja information he had gathered and sealed within the seal in his left hand.
"I got lucky," Naruto mutters, shaking his head as he gazes at his missing right forearm and notices the mindscape body reflected his current physical state. "I would have lost this if it had been my left forearm."
Speaking of other seals, the Six Paths Yang Seal did not vanish from his body when the right arm was cut off. It now rested on his right shoulder, reflecting off the Six Paths Yin Seal that was now on his left shoulder. Right timing is necessary for him to benefit from them.
Naruto walked towards the third largest section he had collected. He passed the Uzushio section and the Konoha section. The archives, scrolls, and books, though useful, were not the current focus.
Already tucked between his left arm was a scroll from Sunagakure. He now required a scroll from Orochimaru's extensive research.
Naruto canvased the Snake Sannin research section until he found the book that contained what he wanted and pulled it out, mentally read it. In the meantime, his physical body self-began to write down what he was reading.
As he wrote the scroll contents down, Naruto let out a snort before shaking his head as he remembered a word he had with Orochimaru in the Pure Lands.
-Flashback-
-Pure Lands-
"I'm not mad, just disappointed I couldn't see the results and end of my research. The countless experiments and corpses I endured were all in vain. But if my knowledge helped you, then I am fine with that," Orochimaru sighed wistfully before his slitted eyes narrowed at Naruto, who was pouring him a bottle of sake, taking a swig from the saucer cup, Orochimaru mutters, "Still it all thanks to you that my genius's effort would go to waste without someone collecting it and using it. To be honest, I still feel it was wasted on someone like you."
"You mellowed out, didn't you?" Naruto says with a raised eyebrow before asking him, "What kind of punishment did they put you through here? I know of Obito and the other Akatsuki members's punishment but not yours,"
"Can we please not bring it up?" Orochimaru winced as he remembered something unpleasant, "Fine, if I have to…. I was punished for seeking knowledge I shouldn't have had. I sought secrets that were not meant to be discovered… The respected twins and their mother taught me that there are certain things that should remain unknown."
"That was your punishment?" Naruto says with a frown as he looks at the clear liquid in his saucer cup. "Seems light compared to your sins."
"Naruto-kun, the punishment is still ongoing for me," Orochimaru admits with a chilling voice as he wearily holds his head and mutters. "My mind holds unbearable knowledge, but let's not dwell on it. What did you do with my research?"
"Not much… I just used mostly a lot of incomplete Research from Root and developed it further, besides the only thing I used was the genetics and the information you gathered about Kekkai Genkai." Naruto just snorted and tells him, "Your last research was interesting… you wanted to create life from scratch and to shape that life so it fitted you. It is like a shadow clone, but permanent and independent from the original."
"Ah, the process that I call cloning," Orochimaru says fondly with a smile. "I was going to create a synthetic clone of mine, designed to be genetically perfect. Do you think I'd make a good parent?"
"PF-" Naruto stifled his laughter, then called out across the bar to Tsunade and Jiraiya, who were engaged in a drinking contest, "Hey Ero-Sennin, does Orochimaru tell jokes? He thinks he could be a good parent."
"Hey…" Orochimaru says with a tick mark on his head and he hisses, "Are you making fun of me?"
"Calm Down… Orochimaru, the brat asks a good question," Jiraiya says with a grin before looking at Orochimaru with a thoughtful face. "Well, it depends."
"Honestly… He'd be a good one right now," Tsunade mutters, rolling her eyes. If he had been more relaxed, he could have excelled as a parent.

"What a night that was…" Naruto chuckles, writing with the scroll from his mental library, the only issue-
"ARGH!"
Naruto's chuckle transformed into a frustrated growl as he discarded the pen and examined his shaky left handwriting and unreadable text on the paper.
"Your handwriting sucks," Shaka tells him as he glanced at what Naruto had written, "Well it's given since you are still recovering, but how can you fight so well with your left hand while struggle to make your writing readable?"
"Well, I am right-handed! And Shinobi are trained to be ambidextrous in combat… I regret not preparing to be ambidextrous in all aspects of life, like other shinobi." Naruto mutters to himself before glaring at his handwriting, "My handwriting wouldn't be shitty if I had my right hand!"
Edison sighs in frustration, saying, "It'll be awhile before we can do anything about that… Your body's uniqueness is currently impeding any progress. We are now checking if we can reattach that forearm to yours back."
Naruto sighs as he remembers the three weeks he spent recovering his strength here. Vegapunk and his satellites were skilled doctors. They checked on him as he regained his strength and stamina. They weren't too restrictive, like the hospitals he was used to. A perfect place for him to recuperate his strength.
In those three weeks had been here, Naruto had discarded the hospital gown and had currently changed into an orange Hawaiian shirt with black body jumpsuit underneath a red and yellow floral pattern. He also wore a dark-blue coat, with a blue glove on his left hand and a belt across his upper body to hold his swords, which were propped in the room's corner.
A weird statement of fashion, but Naruto found it a bit cool. Naruto heard about ongoing clothing inventions on the island. Atlas was creating a strapped bag that was fitted with rockets to propel her through the air similarly. Cool boots that make you fly: Edison's latest idea.
"We attempted to use the Organoid to develop a new prosthesis for you, but unfortunately, your body rejected the tissue samples," Pythagoras explains, shaking his head. "On the other hand, Stella finds you quite fascinating… A person who calls himself a human and originates from another dimension, I find it kind of hard to believe."
"So, he did you get here? Was it a Devil Fruit?" The little green mechanical being, Edison, asks with excitement, "Was it an experiment gone wrong that ripped the fabric of space-time? And how did your body not show any signs of postmortem decay?"
"I don't know!" Naruto lied with a growl at the frequent and nonstop questions Edison gave him, "And I am not talking about it!"
"Why?" Pythagoras inquired, as the large red mechanical being turned its head towards the turnkey and started picking up the papers that Naruto had thrown off the table.
Naruto sighed bitterly and pinched the bridge of his nose. "You're making me feel stupid," he says. "Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned my origins."
"Well, duh to us you are… It a shame there isn't something to increase the average person's intelligence." With a proud voice, Edison exclaims as he sat up bolt, "Eureka! I just thought of a new theory! I got to write it down! It is far more interesting than you, Naruto!"
Naruto was about to throttle Edison's neck, but he realized that Edison was a mechanical creature, rendering his attack useless. Naruto sighed and observed the group of people phasing through solid doors. Lilith and York were in the front, the former holding a syringe that was larger than average ones and the latter stuffing her face with a box of glazed donuts. They were followed by Atlas and Dr. Vegapunk.
Atlas was holding a cylinder filled with a clear liquid where a dismembered hand floated within the fluid. The arm was half dead and half alive at the same time.
"Is that my right forearm?" Naruto uneasily asks as he glanced at it as Atlas sets in front of him.
Naruto reaches for it to grab the cylinder lid, twisted it open, grabbed his forearm and inspected it. Looking at his forearm, the extent of the damage was immense. Bone fragments were visibly sticking out, and the muscles appeared twisted, warped, and burned, suggesting that healing was unlikely for the average person.
But he wasn't normal, heck, he wasn't normal even by shinobi standards.
Naruto shocked everyone in the room by laying his forearm down, pulling out a kunai, and slashing through the healing stump on his right arm, reopening the wound.
Immediately he pressed the disconnected forearm to the now bleeding and cut arm and waited for his healing and regeneration power that he benefited from Kurama since birth. Naruto closed his eyes and began to send a flow of chakra into the forearm, only to feel pain coursing through it. He felt his forearm and then fingers twitch momentarily and he grinned.
"It's working," Naruto thought, pleased.
Naruto's grin quickly turned into a frown as all the sensation with that right forearm vanished and he stared at it. His reconnected fingertips crumbled, spreading quickly to the rest of his hand and forearm.
Naruto examined his crumbling right hand as it turned to ash. In the end, all that remained was a smooth stump and sighed bitterly. "I guess I'm not meant to do that…"
"I don't understand what just happened…" Lilith mutters in shock as she glances at Naruto's face, who was just staring at what was once his forearm with disappointment.
"Hey Stella, you may want to see this!" an excited Pythagoras says unaware of what just happened as he struggled to read Naruto handwriting, "I can barely make out handwriting, but this looks like a perfected Mathematical modeling of Lineage Factor replication… And there is an in the Equation and a Reliability theory of Aging and Longevity here!"
"If I push my body beyond its limits by combining Chakra and Haki like that again, will I experience the same outcome as what just happened to my arm?" Naruto anxiously pondered, biting his lower lip. He wondered how on earth he survived when he used the same method of combining Haki and Chakra against Kaido. He tried to recall and think of an explanation for his survival, "I must have done something..."
Naruto then hears what Pythagoras had read out and snaps out of his stupor with a yelp as he remembered these phrases and what was coming next.
Immediately, he snatched the parchment out of Pythagoras's mechanical hand and muttered, "I shouldn't have copied that part down, and I am sorry for that. That's the wrong part of the book. Orochimaru's research into immortality is not something to be sought after."
"Immortality… you don't say?" asks a stunned Vegapunk before he became interested and gestured for the papers before they were handed to him. "This is some amazing research… I know a lot about the Lineage Factor and how to manipulate it. These studies examine genes and their relation to the human body."
Vegapunk stopped speaking abruptly and gazed at Naruto in shock. He exclaims, "This person attempted to subject human genes to extreme stress through drugs and experiments… it's both unethical and incredibly immoral! I, as a scientist, cannot endorse any of this. Even Ceaser was tame compared to him!"
"It's complicated," Naruto sighs as he adjusts himself in the chair, his expression becoming serious and grim. "I'm not excusing Orochimaru's actions or his past. He played with lives solely for his goals. He is being punished for it. If I find any of you toying with other's lives like he did… I will send you to the Pure Lands myself with a message to go through what Orochimaru is going right now."
-North Blue-
"Why did we go so far north," Ulti mutters as she holds her shivering body as the cold bite of the icy wind blasted across the deck. "Pay-Pay! It's freezing out here and we don't have any clothes suitable for this weather!"
"Someone forgot to drop the anchor, causing us to go north unnecessarily. I wanted to go to the famous port, not the capital city. But this will do…" Page One reminds her with a side glare, "Ulti, go to the ship's crow and look around to see if there is an island. I think we are near one."
"How do you know?"
"The fog has grown much thicker," Page One mutters to her before asking her, "Please check… I want to escape this cold weather!"
Ulti nodded before she began climbing through the ship's rigging once she glanced at it with a scoff and muttered, "This ship has brought more trouble than it was worth."
The New Witch's Tongue no longer looked like it was affiliated with a pirate crew. Undergoing a major transformation, the once simple pirate ship changed dramatically. The now discarded figurehead, resembled a skeletal spinal cord with a crossed-out smiley face, had been sawed off and thrown into the sea. They also had swapped the sails and flags for ones without the Bellmay Pirates Jolly Roger etched on them.
The reason was simple: the Marines.
It's been two weeks since they left Minion Island and it had been chaotic. The marines mistakenly attacked them in the middle of the night, thinking they were the Bellamy Pirates.
A pissed off Yamato woke up when a cannonball scored directly at her sleeping quarters, making her fall out of her hammock. She went to the deck and glared at the attacking marine ship. With a blast of her Conqueror Haki, every marine on board passed out, their feeble wills snuffed out by Yamato's overpowering presence.
The incident had occurred three times before Tama came up with the brilliant idea. Tama got the idea to rid of the ship figurehead and replace the sails and flag with Bellamy Pirates Jolly Roger.
Moving on to the next problem they had. They had no maps of the North Blue, only a compass and an astrolabe and a sextant to use. Page One used these to figure out their nautical coordinates and then decided to head northwest.
A week later, they were still stranded at sea but now were facing freezing temperatures, dwindling supplies, and no sight of land except for vast icebergs.
While searching for land, Ulti squinted through the thick fog that obstructed her view. While doing so, she heard and observed the daily training on the ship deck for the past two weeks.
CRASH
"Ow" a yelp came across of the deck and the clatter of a Katana echoed as it hit the wooden deck.
"Are you okay?" Yamato asks casually, lifting her studded kanabo Takeru onto her shoulder and offered her hand to Tama, who had just landed and dropped her Katana.
Tama then grasped Sakura Ringu's hilt and glanced at the blade with a sad expression before sheathing it back into its scabbard.
"Done already?" Yamato asks her with a cheerful grin, "You are footwork and posture is better, but that swordsmanship needs work. A lot of work."
"Yes! I am done!" snaps Tama bitterly before looking sheepish, "I am sorry."
Yamato raised her eyebrow at her and sighs, "Hey you should have seen how many times I lost against my old man and the thrashings he gave me during them. Be glad I am going easy against you."
"No, it's not that," says Tama. She stands up and gazes at the cold ocean, filled with icebergs. With concern, she mutters, "I think he should have called us by now, two weeks of silence. That's not what my brother does."
"I think he must have forgotten the number," Yamato says with an annoyed sigh as she started at the den-den mushi that was hidden within its shell to avoid the freezing cold.
As soon as she said that, the temperature plummeted even further and the icy wind became more fierce, biting Tama's face so hard that her eyes began to water.
"Hey why is it getting even colder?" Tama grits and scrunches her face to avoid crying from the cold as the wintry winds howl all around them, "Even Ringo is warmer than this!"
"Personally, I don't mind the cold," Yamato says with a soft expression, "It's always had been soothing for me…"
Yamato shudders before letting out a sneeze and then mutters, "Okay, maybe it's a bit too cold."
"W-e ar-e ap-pr-oa-hing a wi-ter is-la-nd" Page One chatters out as he shivers at the helm.
"H-e-y, I s-e-e ha-rbo-r" Ulti chatters out from the ship's crow nest before yelling and pointed northwest, "THERE IS A HARBOR AT THAT DIRECTION!"
"I see…" Page One nodded in understanding and then proceeded to steer the ship by turning the helm wheel with a grunt. After five minutes, they caught sight of a kingdom made of snow and ice. The immense expanse of land seemed to be mostly devoid of life apart from the city and its harbor. A towering shadow that spanned most of the city.
"That's an enormous castle…" Yamato breathes with amazement as she gazes the vast and expansive castle roofs are capped with ice and snow, "Bigger than Onigashima…"
"Welcome to Buuk…" Page One whispers to himself as he stared at the huge capital, "Capital of Whiteland Kingdom. The richest nation in the North Blue."
"Father always talked about this place…" Ulti says with a snort before gulping as she remembered the exact words.
"Dad always said if he ever came back here, he would have burned this island down." Page One says as he looked at Ulti. "Did he ever tell us why?"
"I don't think so…" Ulti says with a shaking head, "He only talked to me about little things… He never spoke about what he did."
"He only gave you attention when you cooked for him, but he always had time to teach me navigation." Page One tells her with a sad look, "We both know, under all that roughness… he cared for us. Remember the time we got lost, and he turned a town upside down? Literally turned a town upside down!"
Ulti just remained silent as her lower lip trembled and looked at the sea and gave a nervous laugh. "Let's go and keep a low profile… I don't think it's a good idea for the locals to know who our dad was. "
- Wano Country: Flower Capital -
Hiyori focused deeply as she balanced the tip of a kunai on her fingertips, successfully avoiding any cuts. Now, she aimed to master walking, running, and jumping while maintaining her balance with these kunai's before progressing to the next part of her Kunoichi training.
She winces and feels the bruise from her spar with Shinobu this morning. After that, she drops the kunai's and reaches for the healing salve on the top shelf.
"I must leave," Denjiro states, positioned by the doorway, observing her practice.
"Go where?" Hiyori asks as she looks ups from where she was sitting at, rubbing the salve on her bruised shoulder, a result of her training, "Can I come with you?"
"No, it's a meeting with Kaido." Denjiro says with a raised eyebrow, "Also after you pulled that stunt, you are still not allowed to leave…"
"Hmph…" pouted Hiyori with rosy cheeks as she remembered kissing Naruto's incorporeal form made out of the blue energy, much to her parents' shock.
"Come on, it was one light kiss!" Hiyori retorts as she fanned her face with her hands in embarrassment, "And I was drunk, and it probably meant nothing to him!"
"The way he left tells me otherwise. Besides, after your parents stopped chewing you out after he left. They did give you permission to marry him one day if you want to…" Denjiro teasingly says with a grin on his face, "But you also need Momonuske-sama approval too!"
Denjiro dodges an entire flying metallic chest flung by Hiyori with one hand. The chest was made from wood, engraved with silver graving and filled with all the platinum and gold coins Hiyori had gotten out of her costumers. As he looked at the hole in the wall of the mansion hallway, and then headed out of the hallway with a thought, "She is stronger than she looks… She really inherited Oden-sama strength."
Denjiro then grabbed his traveling cloak and headed out of his mansion, his expression shifting to a serious one once he meets Fukurojou who stood by the mansion gates.
"Let's go…" Denjiro tells him with a glance at him before walking away from the mansion.
Fukurojou briefly trials behind him in silence as they walked to the now tense streets of the flower capital. Vendors and attendees searched for any signs of trouble, avoiding it diligently.
"Kyoshiro…" Fukurojou stammers, his voice filled with fear, "This may be our last day… In this big meeting at the Shogun palace with Kaido and his officers will decide my fate and yours… You should have run away from the capital to avoid Kaido's judgement."
"I know…" Denjiro tells him before he adopts a crazed expression on his face and chortles, "I was Orochi money changer… My knowledge of Wano's economy surpasses most. Kaido will find me useful if I keep my head down and do what he asks of me."
"And if we die?" Fukurojou showing a hint of fear as he gulped as they walked towards the palace gates unsure of their fate.
"Then I will die! All of us are meant to die one day." Denjiro chuckles with a deranged smile, internally accepting it gracefully while thinking, "Besides, Wano still has Narutomaki, Momonosuke, Kin'emon, and the others to save them…"
-Wano-
"My neck hurts…" a sudden thought crossed and made Scapone wince as he feels his entire neck feeling aflame.
"Hey you okay there …" Joe-Jotte asks next to him,
"Ah yes I am!" Scapone hisses as he unconsciously halfway shifted into his hybrid form before turning back into normal and then felt his finger twitching.
"Are you sure…" Black Maria's faraway voice trails off as she takes another drag from her pipe. "You don't seem yourself lately."
Something lurched within his consciousness, and memories that were not his began to fill Scapone's mind.
"Well, we got rid of that idiot…" Who-Who chuckles as he cleaned his small blade. "A fitting end for such a coward. Did you see him sniveling and squealing at the end?"
Scapone narrowed his eyes as annoyance filled him.
"Why am I so annoyed and whose memories are these?"
"You disposed Orochi body, didn't you…" Sasaki says as he took a swig, "After King took his head off with a single stroke of his blade."
"I burned it to a husk and dumped that charring corpse into a cave in the mines at Udon," says Scapone with a grin that was feeling more forced at each passing moment.
Queen and newcomer Onyx entered the room. Scapone could barely hear them as he noticed a horrifying grin in his peripheral vision, contrasting with the angry eyes fixed on him.
"You are dead…" Scapone says with closed eyes as he feels his sense of self ebbing away, "You died three weeks ago…"
"Oh, that's just…" the voice of the specter says in his mind, "what I let all of You BELIEVE!"
Queen just ogled at Black Maria's chest with a lecherous grin, much to the huge woman glare, as Onyx talked to the Tobiroppo, relaying Kaido-san orders.
Honestly, the black tigress with white stripes was someone to not mess with. Queen personally learned the lesson when he stared at her rear and tail for too long before she noticed what he was doing.
After he was caught checking out Onyx's rear and she glared at him, then the following happened. Onyx's kick sent him flying and bruised his jaw, and she did not stop there. She gave him the biggest verbal thrashing he had ever gotten from someone. He was about to retaliate with a bunch of Lasers to pierce her only for Kaido telling him to stand down.
Queen rubbed his sore jaw, a result of a spinning kick he received two days ago. Then, he looked around and noticed Scapone staring unfocused at the roof, while Onyx was relaying Kaido's orders.
"Pay attention!" Queen snaps at Scapone.
Coming out of his daze, Scapone's discomfort and fear transformed into a glare directed at Queen before simply stated, "I am listening."

"I see so that how it is!" Naruto thought to himself with a grin as he finally got the answer, "I finally found out how I survived mixing Chakra with Haki. How did I not see this before!"
"But the solution is not practical at all…" Naruto's pleased thoughts turned into a frown, "I can't gather nature energy all the time. That's literally impossible!"
"Orochimaru research is really interesting…" Vegapunk says with a grave voice, "It confirms a lot of my theories on the Lineage Factor… What is a Kekkai Genkai?"
"It's unique genetic mutations can be inherited through bloodlines." Naruto explains to him, "These genetics are DNA anomalies that allow their wielders to use unique techniques that only those who possess that anomaly can."
"I see so this thing called Kekkai Genkai are basically inborn genetic abilities…" Vegapunk mutters to him before he looks up and nods his head with understanding, "Like the Lunarians resilience with their immense defense and their flames, the minks and their Electro. Kekkai Genkai is like inherited supernatural abilities, analogous to a family trait. Are they like devil fruits?"
"I'm not sure how devil fruits truly function… but you understand the concept." Naruto tells the doctor as he began juggling his kunai with his one hand out of boredom.
"Oh Devil Fruits are just -" started Dr. Vegapunk with a grin.
"Stella, the blood work test is done…" Shaka interrupts him as he handed Dr. Vegapunk a huge rolled up parchment of paper.
"That took a while. I thought the machine was broken…. WHY IS IT SO FUCKING LONG!?" shrieked Dr. Vegapunk with bugged eyes as he swiveled his head towards Naruto as he unfurled the parchment and his eyes scanned at it.
"I didn't have a chance to look at it, but my current theory on what we had learned from Uzumaki Naruto tells me this. He cannot be measured by our standards of humanity." Shaka scrutinized seriously, then raised a finger and began to explain. "First, his origins are similar to those of an alien, despite sharing the same blood type as many humans," Shaka says as the other Vegapunks started listing their answers.
"Second, his body rejected tissues that shared the same blood type as he had…" Lilith stated as she looked at video where they recorded Naruto being grafted with a tissue sample that burned up within five minutes, "He may look like he shares our biology, and it may look identical overall but hard-wired differently."
"Number three. From our body scans, we observed a unique energy and an unknown additional body network within his body," Edison explains, referring to the x-ray, MRI, and other scanning equipment charts and data.
"He can swim, despite showing supernatural abilities akin to a devil fruit user… Ruling out him being a Devil Fruit user…" Pythagoras says with a shake of his head.
"Your body healed itself and even in death it did not show any postmortem decay…" Atlas nods as she looked at the recording of the morgue and Naruto waking up from a Cameko.
"His lineage factor is written differently, like it's in another language that are computers are struggling to understand…." York pointed as she swallowed an entire cake with one bite.
"Your lineage factor contains more information and genetics than anyone else we saw … On average, a human has around between 20,000 genes and 25,000 genes." Dr. Vegapunk says with a deep interest, "Other races and tribes like Minks, Fishman, Lunarians, long arms, long legs, long necks, dwarves, range from 19,000 genes to 65,000 genes."
"Giants and the Buccaneer Tribe have 100,000 to 300,000 genes," York informs him, followed by a giggle. "Devil Fruit users, on the other hand, have 500,000 to 2,500,000 genes."
Naruto's quiet voice brims with curiosity as he asks, "How much do I have?"
"Uzumaki-san…" Dr. Vegapunk says with a deep breath, interest in his eyes, "You have 9,000,000 genes…. I did draw some blood from you when I was treating you. I am sorry for not asking permission."
"No, it's fine…" Naruto says with a nod as he waved off the scientist and goes back to thinking of the solution that will stop him from turning into a pile of ash.
"I found the answer to survive using Haki and Chakra at the same time… My body needs to have nature energy and sage chakra within me when I use it… It's true that my body gets stronger when I am in sage mode." Naruto thought with a faraway look on his face, "But it's impossible to have and store nature energy in my body all the time. I need to be still when I gather nature energy to create Senjutsu chakra…"
Naruto's eyes brighten as an idea struck him as he draws blood from his thumb, biting it. He then forms hand seals and slams his hand on the ground, muttering, "Summoning Jutsu: Uzumaki Iron Box."
Naruto then opened the box and extracted the scroll he hadn't opened since he closed his lab in Wano when Project Gezo Tenno was unleashed.
Stand back, Naruto told them before he unfurled the scroll and sent a pulse of chakra,
POOF
He hadn't touched an array of items, equipment, tables, boards, and Vacuum Cylinders since the Nue incident because he had been too busy. Leaving the village, fighting Kaido, and dying and coming back certainly kept him occupied.
Naruto then took four of the cylinders and handed them to Vegapunk and tells him, "Be careful with these…."
"What do you want me to do with them…" Vegapunk says with a surprised expression, "These are stem cells!"
"From Orochimaru's lab, to be exact. These came from people who worked under him. Can you extract the lineage factor and try to adapt it to my lineage factor so I cannot turn into a pile of ashes like my arm did, if I go overboard…" says Naruto while he was in deep thought as he listed out of everything in his mind, "You'll need some of my blood for that."
Lilith winces before she explains, "This task will require both money and time. While we can manage the time aspect, it will take approximately four months of work. As for the funding, it is estimated to be around 700 million Berries. Scientifically, you resemble a new species of humanity to us."
"The Organoids will be reconfigured by us, to be able to create a new arm for you." Shaka says with a grunt, "To handle your cell growth too…"
York just glances around and then sighs, "The main issue is we don't have a spare 700 million berries lying around."
"Yeah, the budget is very tight, but we can squeeze out 200 million berries to spare…" Lilith shakes her with a sigh. "Still, it's not enough…"
"How about I pay it in portions…" Naruto tells them as he exhales out a deep sigh. "I can probably get you 300 million berries in two months. I will pay the rest when I got my new forearm and hand from you. Actually, I will make sure you get 300% profit when I pay you fully."
Vegapunk mutters, "So, you want us to biologically engineer you a new arm…" His face lights up with excitement as he exclaims, "I'm in! That's sounds like a fun research! Let's take measurements for your arm!"
Suddenly the sound of multiple of den-den mushi began to ring out on the floor, much to everyone's surprise. Naruto strained his ears, and he could hear multiple Den-Den Mushi's also ringing across the Labophase.
"What the…" Vegapunk as he bit his lounge tongue with shock.
-North Blue: Buuk -
Yamato and Tama were lost, lost on what to buy. These women's and girls' clothing were unlike anything they had seen before. The style and culture of Wano was always modest, and the cloth was light. For Yamato who grew up seeing the beast pirate's uniform, most of those clothes looked exotic and flashy.
Yamato, with a look of distaste, questions, "Is that how it's supposed to look?" as she examines the polar bear fur coat.
"Yes, this is a very popular dress in this country, costumers now the price might be a bit on the hefty side…" a store clerk says with a nervous smile.
Tama expresses her interest as she examines a plain and thick wool coat, comparing it to a yukata or a kimono. "I really like this," she says.
"That will be 2,000,000 berries …" says the shopkeeper with a business smile as he headed to the back of the shop.
Page One, Ulti and Yamato blanch at the price, and slowly faced the doorway. Behind it was a cold and dark street.
"This is the fifth shop we…" Ulti complains inwardly. "We need warm clothes for this climate and accommodations for the night."
"Here…" Tama says as she pulled out a leather handbag from nowhere, much to the shock of Ulti, Page one and Yamato.
In an instance, they leaped towards her and pulled her to side and hissed at her fervently.
"Where did you get this!" all three adults hissed at the six-year-old who was in a fourteen-year-old body.
"I stole it…" Tama says with a shrug, "From the fourth shop we visited… It has so much of that green money."
Ulti checked the leather bag and smirked before ruffling Tama's head. "You are a miracle worker… who taught you how to steal?"
"Big Bro Naruto and Shinobu-sensei!" Tama replies proudly as she puffed up her chest.
With a shake of her head, Yamato expressed disapproval, stating, "Stealing is not something to be proud of…"
"Well, thanks to Tama…" Page One says with a grin, "We don't have to worry about the money for now…"
Soon they all bought warm clothes and enough exported clothes for their travels, and then entered an inn.
The inn had a bar counter where someone was drinking heavily and complaining, "Thieves, I tell you! They stole my money that I ripped off people! Woe me, woe me! I miss my leather bad."
The four shared a look, and sat at a table and beckoned for a barmaid, who was a pretty black-haired woman with blue eyes.
As soon as she came over to help them, multiple Den-Den Mushi's started ringing simultaneously across the bar. Everyone blinks at this and frowns. The pretty black-haired barmaid answered one of the Den-Den Mushi's and a single voice came out.
"Hellooooo!"
Someone else answered the other ringing Den-Den Mushi.
"Hellooooo!" Everyone blinked as they heard the same feminine voice call out to them from two Den-Den Mushi, "Helloooo! How does this thing work! That stranger should have game a set of instructions when he gave me this special den-den mushi!"
-Egghead: Fabriophase-
"That stranger should have given me a full set of instructions on how this Den-Den Mushi works!" the female voice complains as it originated out of all of Den-Den Mushis on the island of Egghead and rest of the world except the places that lacked Den Den Mushi like Wano.
"Now I understand," Musasabi thought with a chuckle. He stood in the shadows of the futuristic buildings of Fabriophase, observing everything below. As he recognized the voice and stared at the stolen object he took from Fabiophase, he mutters, "Her first broadcast… From what I can remember, it was hilarious."
Musasabi now glanced down at the marines who were about to depart the island, on the ships as they had been on the island for a couple of days and then saw the vice admiral and the Lieutenant Commander called Isuka stare at their respective Den-Den Mushi with a frown.
Currently, the marines on this island were confused to why all of their Den-Den Mushi began ringing all at once.
Suddenly, pain erupted from his abdomen and blood began to pour out of the hole that had formed from nowhere and had missed his vital organs.
Shocked and pained, Musasabi stared at the wound and whispered, "What the…"
Musasabi grunts and stumbled to his knee. He then proceeds to contact his other half. Time around him slowed to a halt as he synced with the other dimension, sensing a connection from his other half. He synchronized with the time flow of the other dimension where his other half existed and memories began to flow into his mind.
-Kara Dimension-
-Two minutes ago-
Musasabi was a patient man, but even he had his limits. He had been waiting an entire week to talk to Jigen after the initial report, and now he was summoned to Jigen. The meeting was meant to be private, only known to the leader and not any other Kara members.
Jigen had an outer deliver, a message notifying him of the meeting delay.
Outers had their uses, but they had enormous mouths. Now all of Kara's Inners will know about this meeting because of the Outer politics.
Now he was waiting in the agreed location in the Kara headquarters.
A calm but cold voice echoed around Musasabi, that slowly approached him, "I heard an interesting thing from the others…"
Musasabi turned his face to the voice. The mask he wore concealed his glare towards Kara's leader.
The man had a commanding presence, exuding coldness and serenity. He stood tall, with a fair complexion and a distinctive appearance. His head was cleanly shaved, except for a striking long mohawk of jet-black hair, elegantly tied into a ponytail that cascaded down to his lower back. His face showcased prominent eye ridges, devoid of eyebrows, a broad nose, and piercing black eyes. A diamond-shaped mark graced his chin, and a Roman numeral "Ⅳ" tattoo adorned the space below his left eye. The area where his stomach should have been was mysteriously engulfed in darkness. He had black nail polish on both his fingers and toes. He also sported five red earrings on each ear, with an additional one dangling at the bottom.
Donning a flowing white robe, he exuded an air of elegance and style. The robe was adorned with black vertical lines on the sleeves and coattails, creating a captivating contrast. With each step he took, the robe gracefully billowed, producing a soft whisper in the air. His personal crest shimmered subtly on the back of the robe, catching the light. A tasseled belt loosely secured the robe at his waist, swaying with his every movement. To complete his ensemble, he added a matching red hair tie, collar, waistband, bracers, and pants, all embellished with red pearl studs. The touch of the cool pearls against his skin provided a pleasant tingling sensation. For footwear, he opted for simple sandals with soft leather soles that offered a cushioned comfort to his feet.
Musasabi grunted, pulled out the rod, and faced Jigen with a scowl. Sensing his displeasure, Jigen just gave him a sharp look and tells him, "Relax… May I speak with you briefly?"
He extended his hand, and a table with two chairs appeared on the stony floor. Another wave produced a grilled steak, mashed potatoes, salad, and a glass of red wine.
"Sit."
It was not a request but an order…. and Musasabi grudgingly obeyed it.
As Musasabi sat down on the empty side of the table, he silently observed Jigen eating his dinner. Jigen occasionally gave him glances that conveyed a message.
Once Jigen was done, he gave him a displeased expression. "You lied to me…"
"What! Jigen-" a startled Musasabi started before he was cut off by Jigen.
"The report you gave me…" Jigen says with a firm and displeased tone, "You hid something from me… Something that Deepa, Shin mentioned. Koji even reported it but, you mentioned it only in passing. The man who beat Deepa…. you never told me he was Uzumaki Naruto."
Musasabi looked at Jigen with a serious expression, "I did not intend to mislead you, Jigen. Impatience-"
A black rod erupted within his abdomen, avoiding any vital organs. Musasabi hands began to pull out the black sharp rod that was draining a chunk of chakra within his body, and the rod had currently spawned at his abdomen. These rods looked similar but acted differently from black receiver rods that originated from the Rinnegan outer path. As quick it appeared it was vanished.
"Patience…" Jigen mutters with a frown as contempt and displeasure began to creep into his voice, "I have waited and waited for centuries. Time and options are a luxury I lack, Musasabi."
"What about my original mission? Finding you a world fit for a harvest?"
"Do not test me, Musasabi! I can make the others do it!" Jigen snaps at him with a bitter voice, "The next time I see you, Uzumaki Naruto should be brought in by you."
Musasabi glowering at Jigen says, "You want me to capture him, then? This goes directly against my plan to get rid of Black Zetsu and his army."
Jigen's stony face shifted to a look of interest. "That's something you never cared to share with me…"
Musasabi then pulls out a blue shell with a white pattern, and Jigen's eyes widened momentarily as he recognized the object, "That's…."
"Remember the time I found the ruin of the Otsutsuki Clan in the Land of Fire six months ago? You told me to deal with the contents inside it as you had told me they had no value in it." Musasabi tells him warily as he stares at Jigen intensely. "Somehow I managed to activate this artifact and the results are indeed interesting."
"That artefact is not something you should be messing with…" Jigen just stared at him before sighing and asking him, "And your plan is?"
"My plan was to use it bit by bit so that I can trick Black Zetsu and his now growing army face against our target." Musasabi says with a steeled voice, "With this we can achieve what you want."
"Who knows of this…" Jigen says with a raised eyebrow as a thoughtful look as he appraised his subordinate in a new light.
"Only you." Musasabi says to him with a steeled voice.
"You are taking a proactive approach…" A pleased look came across Jigen's face before jokingly saying. "If you keep this up and gain more of my trust, I might make you my right-hand man."
"Don't…. Code will become jealous." Musasabi says with a shake of his head.
"Seems I misjudged you…" Jigen says with a chuckle of amusement and tells him, "Amado was right, you are an excellent addition to the inners. The Number Nine Numeral is something you earned. Go patch yourself up and show me the results. Also, do you know the rules of that artifact?"
"Of course… I am not that stupid to break time." Musasabi tells him before asking, "So I can go ahead with my plan?"
"Only if you can get rid of Black Zetsu…" Jigen says with a smile as he sipped the red wine from his glass. "I can handle his strength, but it's too risky with his army and my feeble body. It will collapse before I'm done, and I won't take that risk."
Jigen then waves his hand and the table, food, vanishes into the thin air as he wiped his amused lips with a cloth and says. "Also, having Uzumaki Naruto as a nutrient for the harvest would greatly benefit the Chakra Fruit for my Divine Tree. Also Sealing away Kaguya's Chakra Fruit. That fruit is something I've long awaited to consume and only he knows of it whereabouts!"
Jigen then stands up as the diamond tattoo on his chin glows briefly and the pattern spread across his face and body in symmetrical sunburst patterns. "Go join your other half. You can't trick me that easily, Musasabi."
A black mist tinted red erupted from the marks on Jigen's left hand and solidified into a spiraling space-time rift that opened and swallowed Musasabi whole.
Musasabi emerged from the black rift, greeted by sunlight and the scent of the ocean. He immediately locked eyes with his other half, who wore a furious expression. Musasabi then glanced around to see the advanced, futuristic city that was egghead, and paled.
"How much does he really know?" thought Musasabi with a cold sweat.
Taking one look at each other, the two halves of Musasabi clasped each other hand, undid Fission Jutsu and become one again, making their split chakra reserves merge to one again.
"Let's go Karasuki, we shouldn't overstay our welcome here," the now singular Musasabi says as he felt out his full chakra reserves, "Let see… Karasuki."
"Yes Musasabi-san…" says the pink turtle like artifact with a blue shell that opened up as its eyes began to glow brightly.
The blue shell parted open to reveal a golden sphere within it. Underneath the golden sphere was a swirling multicolored light vortex, and soon the golden sphere emanated a light that swallowed Musasabi up.
"Karasuki…." Musasabi orders, "Four to three hours… At those coordinates…"
With an autonomous voice, the turtle cautions, "Proceeding to dangerous territory? What happened to the rules I warned you about? You know you are playing a very dangerous game…"
"Yeah, I know," Musasabi says with a chuckle of amusement before his voice becomes serious, ". I don't care about the consequences anymore. He told me what he had done… and besides, when did I ever follow the rules?"
Once the golden light dissipated, Musasabi and the turtle artifact discovered they were in a different realm. This realm was characterized by a swirling vortex of multicolored light, filled with countless stars and transparent cubes that showcased people, places, and all manner of things.
-New World: Red Force-
The red hair pirates were in the middle of lunch, which comprised a sea king, biscuits and a crate of beer bottles and a barrel of wine.
"Why are you calling me right now?" a familiar and tired voice grumbled from every Den-Den Mushi on deck. "It's the middle of the night!"
"Eh? Ah I didn't call you Gordon!" the female voice protested before humming out a tune as she says, "
"Chief…" Lucky Roux addressed his redhead leader, who was alert and staring at the snail attentively, "I think that's Uta…"
"That Den-Den Mushi… I never seen this type before." Gordon's unmistakable voice says with wariness, "It is not a Cameko… It's different from the others, never seen one of them with a comical shell. Where did you get this?"
Uta's excited voice blared out of the den-den mushi, "I was walking down the beach…"
"At this point at night?" Gordon, unimpressed tone being parroted off by the snail, tells them he was not happy.
-Egghead: Labophase-
-Building A: (Second Floor) -
"WHERE THE HELL IS THIS TRANSMISSION COMING FROM?" Lilith yells in as she wrung her head in confusion.
"I know that this is my technology!" Vegapunk fumed as he glared at the den-den mushi, "None of the Streaming Den-Den Mushi prototype are still alive! I only had one successful Streaming Den-Den Mushi in this lab."
"Yeah, I can't find it anywhere…" Edison's voice crackled over the intercom with a disappointed sigh.
"Must've been stolen," Shaka says, slumping with disappointment.
"By her?" York asks in protest, "No, it had to be someone else…"
"She just said someone gave it to her." Naruto says with a snort.
"Turn it off." The man called Gordon said and there was a brief struggle as the person called Uta turned off the stream.
"That's it, I am making a new Den-Den Mushi." Vegapunk mutters jealously. "One that distributes a call worldwide and doesn't shut down by pigging back of other Den-Den Mushi signals."
Kuma entered the room with a stony expression.
"Vegapunk, I have to go…" Kuma says as he entered the room, "Can you delay the last round of operation for this stage? My allies are in a bit of trouble."
Vegapunk just swiveled his head and stared at Kuma before sighing with exasperation, before nodding.
"Of course, Kuma." Shaka agrees with a nod. "You have been busy ever since. The world government declared you were a warlord three months earlier than intended."
"Saint Saturn was not happy about that leak that went into the world economic forum." Kuma says quietly.
"Kuma, can you wait a moment…." Naruto asks him with a quick glance at him, "I heard from Vegapunk you can send people anywhere on this planet."
"I see, so you want to leave-quasar?" Vegapunk asks him with a grin, "You are free to go, but I want you back some time later, and about your new arm? Give me the first part of money in three months. I will give you my private number for my Den-Den Mushi- quasar. Don't worry about our calls being intercepted by the world government. Atlas, go fetch a spare white Den-Den Mushi please."
"Yes, Stella!" Atlas said with a grin and a childish salute and left.
"Thanks for everything Dr. Vegapunk." Naruto says with a brief nod as he grabbed his belongings that were lying in the room's corner. Before grabbing the Nidai Kitetsu and the Uzu-Uchiwa chokutō and placed them at his right side. Looking at the high-end clothing the Vegapunk machines had tailored for him. Clothing of all varieties, including suits, beach shirts, and futuristic clothing, too.
Atlas came back, cradling a white snail and a sheet of paper, and handed them to Naruto, telling him, "Here, take them. The paper has instructions on how to set the White Den Den Mushi to encrypt your calls. And here are all our numbers for our personal Den-Den Mushi's."
"It's a shame you can't see our latest invention. The sea beasts and the Vegaforce-01 are nearing completion."
Naruto then looked at Vegapunks and told them, "Speaking of robots, that giant one in the scrapyard… I tried powering it up with my chakra. I even tried using lighting release-"
"WHAT!" Vegapunk shouted before swiveling at Naruto with shock and a faint glimmer of hope flickered in his eyes.
Naruto just scratched the back of his head, "Too bad it didn't work… it would have been cool."
All the Vegapunks just slumped with disappointment and clutched their head in frustration.
"Oh, come on!" Shaka groaned.
"You trampled over my hope! Naruto!" Vegapunk said, with tears pouring down his face.
"For my hurt feelings, I will charge you more for that arm!" Lilith hissed as she wiped the stray tear.
York just gave him a bitter look before scarfing down the coffee powder from the coffee jar in her hand.
Atlas just threw an entire table work at his direction and began yelling incoherently. Edison and Pythagoras were pulling out all forms of weaponry and assembling some torture device.
Kuma just whispered into Naruto's ear, "Let's get out before things get worse here."
"You should," Stussy said behind them as she pinched the bridge of her nose and handed him a paper. "I will calm them down. Since you don't have any personal identification. Here is the paperwork to leave the island. The government will think you were some person who Vegapunk wanted to test on. Show this to the marines and they will allow you to leave. This paperwork doesn't have anything to identify you, thanks to the CP-0 resources that I have."
"Why would I need this?" Naruto asked her with a confused expression, "I can just force myself off the island. No marine here can stop me."
"And by doing that, you will get a bounty and cause trouble for the doctor?" Stussy tells him with a frown.
"That's the last thing I want to do right now." An abashed Naruto said as he looked sheepishly to the floor.
"COME HERE, UZUMAKI!" Lilith roared as she pulled out a gun that began to glow as it powered up.
Naruto just bolted off the Labophase, and into the cloud that served as the base of the giant laboratory and jumped off the cloud into the city Fabiophase.
-Egghead: Fabiophase-
"All things seem to be in order," said the orange haired marine officer as she scrutinized the paper and inspected and handed it him back with a worried voice, "Be careful out there… The new world is not stable right now."
"I will be…" Naruto said with a nod before he asks, "What's your name again?"
"My name is Isuka." The marine officer said with a smile, "It's Lieutenant Commander Isuka for most people. It's nice to see someone who is not scared or nervous about our presence."
"An Isuka in the Marines…" Naruto mutters, wondering where he heard the name before, "Well I used to be a solider… Wait, are you the Isuka? The Isuka who chased Portgas D. Ace?"
Isuka sputters as her face turned into a shade of red as she blushed and hissed at him, "How did you know that?"
"I met Ace a while back in the seas…" Naruto tells her with a shrug, "Last I saw of him was two months ago."
Isuka then glanced around before telling him, "If you ever see that fool again, tell him this, that he needs to be more aware of the consequences of his actions. Going after Whitebeard was a stupid thing to do, and I expect-"
Isuka was interrupted by a popping sound as Kuma appeared next to Naruto. His warm face and eyes were gone and replaced by a stoic expression and thick glasses that hid his eyes.
"Is my friend free to leave the island, Marine?" Kuma said in an emotionless voice.
Isuka nodded and then says, "Yes he is."
Naruto glanced at Kuma's ship. It had at least five sails, the one at the front featuring his Jolly Roger. The keel of the ship had a dot pattern like Kuma's hat and pants, the sides featured ornaments similar to his bear's ears, and there was a church-like structure on board with a cross at the top.
"I only seen those on the western continent. None in the Elemental Nations had churches, they had shrines." Naruto thought as he remembered trekking through the desolate landscape, "From what I remember they had churches for-"
Naruto was snapped out of his thoughts of the western continent as he and Kuma boarded the ship. And then Kuma began handling everything by himself, lifting the anchor alone, raising the sails, steering the ship out of the harbor, all without a single crew member aboard this ship.
"Could I help?" Naruto asked Kuma.
Only for Kuma to shake his head and tell him, "Thanks, but I prefer to do this by myself. I want to do everything with this body and my life until the day I go."
Naruto chuckled before agreeing with him, and told, "Well, I like that sentiment, Kuma."
-Six hours later-
"Does it get less boring…" Naruto groaned as he looked at Kuma reading a book called the bible, "I never knew priests were such bookworms."
"Did you have churches from where you came from?" Kuma asked with a smile.
"Not really…" Naruto said with a shake of his head, "We had temples and shrines. Not Churches. These were on another continent that we barely contacted."
Kuma looked towards Naruto and smiles at him before asking him, "If you would like to go somewhere, where would you go?"
"A port that's in the New World and quite close to the north blue." Naruto tells him with a shake of his head before tilting his head quizzically, "Or one of Whitebeard territories? I got someone I want to meet before heading to North Blue. But I guess as a warlord you may not be there?"
Naruto saw the soft smile on Kuma's face as he tells him, "Oh, I have the perfect place to send you."
Kuma finished removing his glove and reared back his hand. Sensing no bad intentions, Naruto just raised an eyebrow and asked, "Is this your ability to send others to a long distanced trip that Sentomaru told me about?"
Bartholomew Kuma brought down his hand and Naruto felt the air around repel into a bubble that formed around him and he was blasted off the ship. Naruto looked around to see he was in a paw shaped bubble and suddenly he felt his energy being sapped out of his body, yawning Naruto lied back on his backpack and began to snore as Kuma sent him somewhere.
A/N: Man… I delayed this for far too long because of my depression and my unwillingness to write a thing. I apologize deeply for leaving too long.
So yeah, that sums up this chapter. I am slowly building up the story. As for Uta, that was a good surprise, I will be taking some One Piece and Naruto movies plot points and adding them to the story. Some but not all movies. Boruto has been really peak so far,
Please ask me questions in the reviews. I miss interacting with you guys even if its my fault. I might update some of my other stories this week.
