Just Like Snow White Part 2
This is a follow up where David also notices the similarities between Snow and Hanna.
David came up behind his wife and put his arms around her. "What are you looking at?"
"Just our little girl."
David looked out the window and saw Hanna leading her horse around the field. "She looks just like you, you know?"
Snow smiled. "Regina just told me the same thing. She said we have the same wild hair."
"You two have beautiful hair."
"It can be wild when it's not fixed properly."
"Okay, maybe a little," David grinned. "You know she has your chin too."
"Emma does too," Snow said. David's arms tensed around her. She turned to face him and could see the tears in his eyes at the mention of the daughter they would never see again. Snow reached up and wiped them away. "Hanna has your beautiful blue eyes."
David brushed a hand down her cheek. "And Emma's eyes are just like yours." David glanced back out the window. "Does she really look just like you did as a child?"
Snow nodded. "She really does. I'm sure there's an old painting of me somewhere around here that I can show you."
"I would love that."
Snow leaned into her husband's embrace.
David leaned down and placed a kiss on the top of her head. "How about we take a ride with our little Snow White."
Snow looked up and smiled. "How about we take her to the waterfall? I bet she would love that."
"That sounds wonderful."
"I'll have the chef pack us a lunch. Why don't you saddle up a few horses for us," Snow said.
David nodded. "I'll meet you at the stables." David looked out the window once more at his little girl. She really did look just like Snow White.
