after coming back from his one year world cruise trip to Hoenn, Unova, Kalos and Alola. Robert arma will be heading out on his Pokemon journey with his friend and childhood friend Leaf. With Jolteon daughters as his starter. Unaware that the girls have special plans for him, on this adventure. But also the dangers awaiting for them. [Rated M to be safe, Harem and lemons]

8. Chapter 8

Aurthors Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon! First thing first, if anyone wants to find my Archives of our own account. It is Robinexe22. Anyway, another chapter done and written and ready to posted. This chapter will mainly focus solely on May's first encounter with the Legendary Pokemon, along with how she also got or received the mark from Kyogre- but also showing off the Pokemon she catches and when she also got her trainer license from Professor Birch too.

I have everything all set up and planned for this arc too. Chapter 9 we will be returning to Robert and the others, as they travel amd make their way to Cerulean city. Then from there I will transition back to Hoenn and showing Caroline, going around looking and seeking for help to find May. Everything all planned and hope you all look forward to the future chapters. This arc might...be around 6 chapters long, depending how much I write for each chapter or how fast I move things, so it might be 4-6 Chapters at my estemated guess, as again. Depending how much I gety done for each chapter lol.

The Titan Pokemon Kyogre Arc

Chapter 8: The First encounter

Caroline heard her nine year old daughter who just turned Ten years old a couple days ago coming down the steps. After the mother had called her down and been staring at the red bow in her hands for a long while now. It was going to be one of the many birthday gifts she is going to give to her daughter. Especially considering back a couple months ago. The Arma family had left and moved away as the mother's Job wanted her to transfer from the Pokeball factory company that was in another region. Which included May's best friend Robert as well, the mother knew her daughter had been missing him a lot these past couple months.

They can always chat and call each other whenever they have free time. Doesn't beat the fact that physically being next to each other is better than speaking through the phone and video screen. Caroline heard her daughter, "Yeah mom? You wanted me for something?" Asked the ten year old bright blue-eyed girl, wearing a red sleeveless shirt, some blue biker shorts and a white skirt over top of it. "I was about to head out to Little Root town, to see if Birch needs any help." She continued saying and then hummed as she tilted her head and saw Caroline grinning and smiling brightly towards her.

It was no secret that May wanted to become a Pokemon trainer and get ready to head out on her journey. What kid wouldn't? Especially making a promise with Robert that whenever he becomes a Pokemon trainer and starts his journey, she too will begin on her quest and journey and no doubt- find a way to reach Robert in whatever region he is currently in and stay with him. "Well, I hope it is just for research and nothing else." Caroline teased out having May roll her eyes and shaking her head. Knowing full well her father is really against the idea. "But…I have two more surprises for you. I know your birthday had already passed, but I figured- to hold them off after the party and birthday. And for your father not being here to ruin the surprise."

May smiled and brightened up, "really?! What are they?" She asked, getting a little excited that her mother didn't want her father to know or ruin the surprise.

"Close your eyes first." Caroline chuckled out and watched her daughter closing her eyes and was about to peek. "Ah-ah no peeking." She taunted and laughed as May was having a bright smile on her face as she waited for whatever surprise her mother was about to give her. The girl hummed as she heard her mother stepping close and then felt her hair being messed with- along with something clipping and adjusting ever lightly at the top of her head. Feeling what could be…clothing? A cloth maybe? May then felt her mom sliding and combing her hands through the girl's hair and adjusting her bangs before stepping back and then hearing her go over the kitchen counter and pick something up. "Alright, you can open them!"

May opened her eyes slowly and then blink them as she saw a mirror was being pointed to her and she then leaned forward to see there was a bow on her head. "Oh wow that's pretty!" She grinned and giggled as she went sticking her tongue out slightly, while then fiddling with the boy. While having it slanted ever slightly and then tugging on the edges a bit and nodding firmly as she liked how she wanted it to be. "Is this your present mom?" May asked and then felt her heart rising and cheeks blushing when she shook her head.

"It's Robert's gift," Caroline said and saw her daughter's eyes widen and then stare back at the mirror. "It took awhile and had to go through a lot of customs to get here. But it finally arrived right this morning," She informed May and then brushed the right pigtail of her hair and giggled. "His letter said that you saw one of the bows at the Mauville city Mall, the one day we went there together and went and bought it days before moving. But he never got the chance to and by the time he remembered, it was too late. She laughed and had May laughing and giggling wildly.

"Yeah that sounds like Robert! He tends to forget things especially when there's too many things going on." The girl looked back to the mirror and took the hand mirror from her mother and began tilting it around to eye the bow some more. "It is definitely that bow I saw at the mall too. Heh, I should thank him when I get the chance!" She giggled and placed the hand mirror onto the counter and face back to her mom. "You also said there was another surprise?" Then smirk. "Do I need to close my eyes for this one?"

Having her mother to laugh and shake her head, "heh no you don't. I actually want you to keep them open for this. Now wait here." She said while raising a hand and one finger turning around and walking over to one of the pantries in the kitchen. Making May hummed softly before then smiling when she heard Delcatty walking from behind her and happily hugs the girl and pressed her against her body, having her squishy breasts push and press against May's back, while purring when the girl reached a hand up and began stroking Delcatty's face cheek with the back of her hands and knuckles.

"Hey Delcatty, hope you're doing well!" May asked and saw the anthro feline purr and meow out how she is doing just fine and let go of May. The two faced forward and saw Caroline letting out a happy 'there it is' and reached up with her tiptoes to the top of the pantry and slides out a box, to then grabbing it with both hands and closing the pantry door- letting out a low breath of air and then turns around and faces May with a big smile on her face.

"Here we go." Caroline said holding what looked to be a birthday present box, covered in a red and white wrapping paper with a decorative blue bow on top. Not too big of a box, also not to wide as well making May really curious of what is inside of it? "Okay…" Caroline then placed the box onto the table and stepped away, smiling and clapping her hands together and flick them forward. "Open it! You will be blown off your feet!"

May smiles and approaches the birthday present and grabs onto the edges of the lid and sees it will easily be lifted up and off from the package. When she did so and placed the lid onto the side, she look back at it and inside the box only to widen ehr eyes and felt a gasp leaving her throat. "It…No way is it?" She turned her head towards Caroline who nodded and her smile just grew wider at the shock expression on May's face as she looked back to the inside of the box and shaking brought both hands into it and grabbed each item from within. The left hand had picked up and carried out a horizontal sided wide-screen Pokedex that was made and crafted by Professor Birch himself! The girl stared at the device and couldn't keep her eyes off it, as she went and used her thumb to press one of the buttons and saw the middle part of the Pokedex opening up and revealing the wide-screen underneath it as it turned on and let out a beep.

"This Pokedex was made and created by Professor Birch, this pre-recorded message is for the user of this device. Welcome May, you are hereby and declared officially to becoming a Pokemon trainer- I have heard a lot from your mother and how much you always wanted to become a trainer and hopefully travel the world one day and explore the mystery world or Pokemon who inhabits our planet. I also have heard that your friend Robert, also wants to become a trainer- but because of circumstance he is able to do so. I have no doubt though wherever he will be or live or whatever region he resides in. The professor there wull make him as one.

So, I decided and in collaboration with your mother. We went ahead and programmed a Pokedex ahead of schedule for your tenth birthday and I kept it safe within my possession until it was time to hand you the device. And that is today…or…well, whenever it comes to you of course!" Came the professor's voice getting May to giggle and even starting to tear up as she couldn't believe it! She was going to finally become a Pokemon Trainer!

"Now I know that your father is against the idea and is one of the many Gym leaders of the region. I can or could understand where he is coming from, as I myself have a son. However! There is no way I would deny even my son's dream of becoming a Pokemon trainer and starting his journey as well! And your mom is very persistent when it comes to negotiations." Another sheepish chuckle coming from the recording. "So with that out of the way and if you want to as well. I also placed a Pokeball within the package so that it is up to you to go out there and catch a Pokemon of your own and claim them to be a starter Pokemon. OR, you can come down to my lab and claim one of the starter Pokemon as your partner as well. The choice is yours, I wish you luck and cannot wait to meet you at the kab!"

Thus the recording ends and the screen flashes to May's photograph and all the information relating to her was on the screen. Tear drops hit the device and splashes across the screen as May was hiccuping and doing her best to keep her emotions in check, she closed the device and sat it onto the table, followed by placing the Pokeball down as well.

She then turned and ran over towards her mother and gave her a big hug, as she gritted her teeth and had tears streaming down her cheeks as she began hiccupping and crying in tears of joy. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She said repeatedly, rubbing and pushing her face and forehead against her mother's chest. Making the mom laugh and hug her daughter back and caressing her back softly up and down. "I…I never thought I would see the day that I become a Pokemon Trainer!" She continued and pulled back and began wiping her tears.

"Now…you know how your father is May and how much he really doesn't want you traveling or being a Pokemon trainer. So, listen alright?" Caroline began saying and rested both her hands onto her daughter's shoulder and watched May lift her head up and look at her. "Much I don't mind you traveling and such, but sadly you cannot…and I repeat, CANNOT actually go on your Pokemon journey." She said, having May furrow her brows and cock her head confusingly.

"How come, why? I thought." May then widened her eyes as her mom then brought up an incredible point.

"IF your father hears about how a trainer from Petalburg city is out there competing in competitions or the Pokemon league, or hell, the Pokemon contest and he connects the dots or possibly seeing your portrait anywhere on TV, Newspapers or magazines or possibly from his fellow gym leaders. He will blow a fuse and come charging towards you and rightfully strip away your Trainer's license."

"...Can he do that?" May asked confusingly as she wasn't sure or knew a lot about the privileges Gym leaders had as official Pokemon committees. "I thought only the Professor or the Pokemon committee are allowed to take actions like that?" She asked and again and saw Caroline nodding her head.

"Yeah, Gym leaders have that power especially here in the Hoenn region." Caroline said and then stood upright. "I should know, there are days where I did see your father fight challengers and saw how they were behaving or mistreating their Pokemon. He rightfully stripped away their trainer's license and disqualified them from the Pokemon league." Then groaned. "He even did the same for trainers who didn't treat their pokemon illy, or had bad behaviors and such. Stripping them of their license, as well for not having their heart into it or being skilled enough to keep traveling."

"What!" May exclaimed and then raised her hand up against her chest. "So…if Robert didn't move away and he became a trainer with me in Professor Birch's lab when we turned ten. Dad would immediately strip away his license just like that!?" Though blink her eyes and then giggled when Caroline placed her hands onto her own hips and smugly smiled.

"Hell no he wouldn't! I doubt Miss Arma will even allow that man two feet from her son and strip away his dream like that." Caroline said and then looked at May. "She probably will even fight for you too- even though I have that kind of power myself." She said and May nodded softly, knowing that her mother will fight tooth and nail to make sure she would become a trainer. BUT- with him as a gym leader and if the two kept bickering or squabbling over what's best for May? Word would probably get out and rumors will spread about there being a family dispute with Norman as a Gym leader.

"I get ya mom, no worries. It wouldn't be fun having people constantly speaking to you if you were to shop and such. Asking if the rumors are true and such of you and dad fighting." She said and sighed. "But that's not fair for me though…" She whined and crossed her arms and grunted when she felt her mom resting a hand on her head and rubbing her hair and the bow.

"I know dear…but its the best we can do." Caroline then turned May around and had her daughter giggling. "Now go! I know you can't wait to get started on finding your partner Pokemon or probably going to Birch's lab to grab your starter Pokemon too!" Then shoved May forward as the girl laughed and skipped a couple steps forward, grabbing onto the table so she wouldn't hit it and turn her attention back to her mother. "Who knows, maybe that Gardevoir you told me about might have children of her own or a Ralts she wants to gift you as your…" Though paused and saw May shaking her head. "Oh?"

"Heh much I would love to have Ralts on my team mom. I am actually going to save that spot for Robert in the future." May winked. "You would be surprised how much that species seems to be around him whenever we visit my Gardevoir friend." She laughed and grabbed the Pokedex and Pokeball and headed towards the living room. "I am going to save the Pokeball for my first Hoenn capture instead, I will grab a starter Pokemon from Birch's lab." She called out from the living room as Caroline walked over between the archway linking the kitchen and living room smiling.

"Alright then, guess that means you have a Pokemon already in mind for your starter?" Caroline asked and then smiled brightly as May nodded her head and swung around her fanny-pack around her waist and hips, connecting it and began placing the ball and Pokedex into the pockets. As she then sat on the couch and grabbed her sneakers.

"Yup, it's going to be Torchic- I like how hyper and playful they are whenever I visit the lab. They would be the first to run over to me and immediately want to play with me." Giggle the girl while she stood up and tapped her sneakers against the rugged and started heading to the front door. "I better get going and choose Torchic, before that Brandon kid does!" May said and stopped at the door pausing her hand mere inches from the doorknob.

This had Caroline humming and even her Delcatty cooed in worry before laughing and seeing Mom running over towards her mom and hugging her once again. Nearly knocking them ove as Caroline grunted and look down at her daughter and smiled happily as she returned the hug and squeezed May. "Thank you again mom…" May said and heard her mom humming in response. She then pulled away and quickly dried her tears with a couple of sniffles, then smiling widely and began heading towards the door. "Okay, I'm off! I probably won't be back before dinner time!" She said and exited out of her home as Caroline waved alongside Delcatty.

"Sigh…long you don't run into your father out there. Then all I wish for you is the best of luck May." Giggled Caroline and looked at Delcatty. "What do you say we prepare a big feast for when she gets back. No doubt May will try and catch a good number of Pokemon to bring home with her and possibly show them off to Robert on the phone!" She said and had Delcatty let out a long meow, liking the idea of having a huge feast and headed to the kitchen with her trainer.

Once May had left her home and headed eastward of Petalburg City, she went through route 102, to the small town that is beyond there and began heading straight south towards Route 101 where it will take her to Littleroot town. Home of Professor Birch and his Pokemon lab, along with his family residing there and a vacant house that Robert and his family used to live in before moving away not so long ago.

May is just happily running and jogging through the routes with a bunch of energy and excitement! She could not wait to reach Birch's lab and acquire her starter Pokemon Torchic from him! IT excites her and even more so as the ideas and fun things the two of them could have together and growing up together- until the day comes for when Robert does finally begin his journey. Granted, she wouldn't know how or when that would be? But it will give her plenty of time to bond and grow close to her starter and possible other Pokemon she might be able to find in the wild! "Heh, especially since lot's of Pokemon have been coming here from other regions recently thanks to trainers, some of them have been making habitats for themselves and adjusting to the environment." May giggled out.

She came to a slow stop as she bounced and jumped in place to completely stop herself as she hummed and raised a finger against her chin. Looking upwards in happiness as she imagines what Pokemon she could possibly have on her team? "Those Hatenna's look really adorable while looking up their evolution line. Look even cool and pretty, and they look really strong too." She said and began walking forward now as she imagined herself having the Hatenna walking beside her and giggling about, to even jumping up and down as it held May's hand. To then laughing and giggling into a Hatterene bountiful chest and being possessive with May, as it keeps danger away from her.

"Or Maybe an Alcremie! Those Pokemon look super cute from the sweet shops I visited at times with mom, watching them happily spin about and playing with some of the children." She cooed out as her imagination then transitioned with her and an Alcremie, although her eyes opened halfway and then her imaginary self being sticky and covered in the ice cream like body of the Pokemon. "On second thought…maybe not, I don't know if they will be like Goomy and its evolution line- where if you touch or hold them. They will cover you with their ice cream like body?" She chuckled sheepishly as the imaginary bubble popped and had her chuckling softly.

The girl hummed and crossed her arms underneath her c cup breasts and carefully continued walking through Route 101 as she was slowly making her way towards Little Root town. Thinking of other Pokemon she could probably catch and add onto her team, some cooler Pokemon than cute Pokemon. On the account she doesn't want to be 'that' type of trainer who only goes for things that will look cute or adorable, compared to those who will probably look cool and strong for Pokemon battles.

"Hmm…much I want to? Pikachu is definitely out of the question," May groaned. "Considering if I want to get Raichu, I would have to head to the Safari zone and Lilycove city just to get a Pikachu and one of the evolution stones to evolve said Pikachu into a Raichu." May grumbled lightly and then cock her head. "Maybe Jolteon? No…that will probably be weird for Robert, since he LIVES with a Jolteon all his life because it belongs to his mother." May muttered out and huffed. "This is harder than I thought? Whoever knew that deciding what Pokemon you want to catch can be very taxing to the brain." May snicker softly as she held her arm up as guest of winds suddenly blew by her and caress against her skin and clothing, making her to look up towards the sky and saw a flock of Taillow and Wingull's zipping by through the air using the wind guest to carry them across the sky and flying over head.

Having her smile towards them and closing her eyes to feel the wind blowing against her ace and air, smelling the air and exhaling out feeling relaxed and collected now. "Oh, Maybe getting a Taillow could be good too! Never can go wrong with flying types." May chuckled and began walking forward again as she listed off Pokemon in her head of who she could catch and add onto her team. By the time she got halfway through route 101, that is when she lifted her head and blink her eyes as she heard a loud sound.

"SOMEBODY HELP ME!" A male voice could be heard echoing throughout the route and the forest surrounding the area causing May to whip around and blink her eyes recognizing the voice belonging to Professor Birch. The girl then went ahead and ran forward towards one of the cliff side and peaked over to the fields. Then sweat dropping and chuckling slightly at the sight before her. "Someone please help me! This Pokemon is trying to hurt me!" Came the hefty Professor voice as he was running away from a female looking Poochyena, who look pissed and snarling loudly and dangerously towards Birch!

May hummed and shook her head as she figured to go ahead and help the man out. "Yeesh, can you go one day without getting Pokemon to chase ya?" She said to herself as she hops onto the hill and adjusts her legs in a way that she will be sliding down it with one leg outstretched and the other tug close to her sides, while using her right gloved hand to lightly skid across the top of the grassy hill. She then hops onto her feet when she reaches the ground and follows behind the two that's ahead of her. "Well hopefully this Pokemon, this time around doesn't have a move that it shouldn't." Though stops and felt the sweatdrop growing even more as sparks of electricity could be seen in the distance and then a loud boom. "Have,,,"

"Guess…he ran into a Poochyena that knows Thunder fang." May chuckled and began running forward to go and help the professor from being attacked or harmed. But also figuring out WHAT caused him to even rile the female Pokemon in the first place? As soon as she got there and pushed through some bushes and shrubbery, she found his satchel on the ground and had the starter Pokemon pokeballs out in the open. The girl then tilt her head upwards and nearly snorted at how Birch is literally clinging onto the tree branch like a Slakoth. But also having a Slakoth next to him, just lazily enjoying the motions and bouncing off the branch.

As the anthro female Pokemon below is constantly jumping into the air snapping and biting her jaw towards Birch, discharging electricity when doing so and landing back onto her feet and thrashing her tail roughly. "AH MAY! Perfect timing, please help me and get this Poochyena away from me!" He called out and saw May softly placing her hands onto her hips and cock her head. "I know, I know- I said I would be careful during my field research. But this Poochyena is unique and I had to get a closer look at it. As you can see, it is using Thunder fang!" He then yelped and swung his body completely around the branch as Poochyena almost got his leg as the wild wolf just huffed and snapped her fingers in annoyance. "So if you could be a dear and chase her off that would be really great!"

"That depends, professor? Did you step on her tail?" May asked with a chuckle and laughing as Poochyena, whose ear twitched at hearing her voice. Turn towards her and began barking and yipping wildly and angrily as if confirming May's suspicions and even thrusted a finger up at the professor, to then pointing and moving her tail towards May and showing how it did look like it was stepped on and moved hr tail away and swinging her pretty impressive hips and moderate double C cup breasts about, before facing back at Birch and trying to use Thunder fang on him again but knew it would be in vain considering the height difference.

"Please May don't joke around, grab one of the Pokeballs and chase her away!" Birch shouted and had May sighing and shaking her head while she approached the satchel and knelt down to see each Pokeball and take note of the element stickers each one had.

"There you are," She grinned and grabbed the Pokeball that Torchic kept in and stood back up. "Alright! Torchic come on out!" She shouted and threw the ball forward, as it soared through the air and then burst open releasing a white energy beam as it shot to the ground and began forming and shaping into the starter Fire chicken Pokemon, Torchic!

"TORCHIC!" Torchic cried happily while shaking her body and feathers about as its been awhile since it got out of the Pokeball. She then turned around and faces May with a big smile and blushing face, "Torchic, chic!" she greeted her and happily spun around showing off her impressive hourglass frame to May, having nice soft looking thighs with modest C cup breasts and slight jiggling small ass cheeks as well.

"Alright Torchic we gotta save Birch yet again from his blunders!" May said.

"HEY!"

May laughed and then shouts to Poochyena, "Hey Poochyena," causing the wolf Pokemon to turn around with a snarl and then blinking her eyes at the sight of Torchic. "Would you like to join me and Torchic on our Pokemon journey?" She asked and had Poochyena letting out a low humming and folding her ears back. Seeing May smile, "Trust me, it will be good. You will get stronger and learn all sorts of attacks. And, won't be bothered by him." She said and pointed to the professor who deadpan towards May but shook his head. On the account she is right, Poochyena might run into him again if he did his field research and could easily attack him for stepping on her tail.

Poochyena look to the Professor and then back to May. She then looks over the girl and get a good feel of her and what she is offering is a trick or not? Though she can see the sincerity in the girl's eyes that Poochyena couldn't help but smile and then got into a battle pose, thrashing her tail white growling out to her and Torchic.

"Heh take that as a yes then!" May said and then threw her arm forward, "Alright Torchic. Go and use Scratch attack!" May commanded as Torchic happily chirped with wide eye smiles and threw her arms apart and extended her claws as she darted forward rapidly towards Poochyena, who stood her ground and quickly jumped out of the way to the right! Torchic right hand slashes down but misses, as the fire type quickly spins around and throws her left hand upwards in order to scratch Poochyena, who quickly jumps back and even lifts her head back to evade the claws just barely.

Poochyena then slams her heels against the ground and lunges forward with her elbow stretched out ready to tackle Torchic. "Torchic roll out of the way, then use Growl" May commanded and watch Torchic quickly rolling to her right and away from the Tackle attack! When She did so and crouched, she quickly threw her head forward and let out a cute growl towards Poochyena. Who covered her ers from the noise and felt her physical capabilities weakening. The wolf pup growled and began grinding her teeth to discharge some electricity and charges straight for Torchic!

May blink her eyes and saw Torchic body glowing for a brief moment and wondering what that was about? "Torchic dodge it!" May said and then felt her eyes going wide as Torchic's body started creating images of itself, moving at incredible speed and evading the Thunder fang attack that Poochyena was using and watching the pup come to a stop and whip her attention towards the suddenly fast Pokemon. Then yelp out in pain when Torchic quickly dug her heels and spun around and did an overhead Scratch attack on Poochyena's head, then twirling again and Scratching across Poochyena's stomach! Having the wolf pup stagger backwards and whimpering in pain. "What;s going on with Torchic?"

Birch who is now resting carefully on the tree and besides the Slakoth, who is lazily swinging back and forth on the branch. The professor is writing on his notepad as she spoke up, "It's Torchic hidden ability, Speed boost!" He shouted and had May look up to him. "Torchic speed will keep rising until it can't anymore, for every command that is made to it! Thus, Torchic is out speeding Poochyena with every command you give the Pokemon!"

"Oh wow!" May exclaimed and looked back and saw Poochyena flying into the air as Torchic delivered another Scratch attack and watched the wolf pup collapse onto the ground and having swirls in her eyes whining and whimpering. "Right now's my chance!" May grinned and grabs the Pokeball from her back, having Birch smiling broadly as he knows that is the Pokeball he sent to her mother in order to give her a Pokedex with the ball. While saying she can use the Pokeball to get any Pokemon she wants as a partner, that is not part of the three starter Pokemon choice. "Pokeball go!" May arch her arm back and throw the Pokeball towards the Poochyena.

Watching it soar across the air and landing onto Poochyena's right breast and then absorb the Pokemon inside the ball. Watching it fall to the ground and begin its countdown as the red light flashes, once…twice ... .three times…Click! The light disappeared and indicated that the capture was a success! This had May smiling brightly as she ran towards the Pokeball and letting out a big cheer. "ALRIGHT! I did it, I did it, I am an official Pokemon trainer and caught my very first Pokemon!" She cheered out as she grabbed the ball and began jumping up and down happily, to then yelping when Torchic ran at her and tackled her to the ground and began nuzzling her face into the girl's breasts. As she laughed and hugged Torchic back and nuzzled her face against Torchic's forehead while feeling the Pokemon assets growing in her hug.

Once Birch got down from the tree branch and walked over towards May and Torchic, who happily got off the girl and allowed May to stand back up and adjust her red bow. The girl's bright blue eyes were glistening with excitement as Birch approached her and smiled back. "Amazing, simply amazing May. The way you dealt Poochyena and commanded Torchic for your first Pokemon battle. Simply amazing," He laughed, "Not only that but also catching Poochyena as well, you truly have the knack as a Pokemon trainer just like-"

"Don't finish that sentence." May said and growled out. "You know how much I am not in good terms with him right now." She growled out and crossed her arms while looking away. "I would rather my skills be my own, not because of inheriting it from my father." She grumbled out and had Birch nodding his head. Understanding completely considering Caroline wanted to give May her trainer license without Norman knowing.

"Sure thing, no worries I understand. That was very inconsiderate of me." He then cleared his throat and smiled brightly. "But anyway, thanks again May! You truly know how to command and control Pokemon during a crisis." He then looked to Torchic who seemed quite attached to May, as she was holding and hugging May's left arm between her own breasts and body. "And Torchic seems really attached to you, but it makes sense." He laughed. "Since you have an affinity with the species whenever visiting the Lab."

May smiled and giggled as she petted Torchic's head and then faced Birch. "How about we go to my lab before anything else happens, and then we can discuss the type of research we will be doing. What do you say?" Birch asked and had May nodding her head rapidly and followed Birch to Little Root town. Once they got there and headed towards the Lab, Birch aides welcomed and greeted May, even congratulating her for becoming a Pokemon trainer.

Making the girl laugh and blush at the praises and attention she is getting from everyone. Once they got done and leave May alone, she continued forward and into the other room of the lab where Birch went ahead and releases the other starters from their Pokeballs. Giving them a chance to roam around and stretch their legs. When Mudkip stares towards May and her staring back, she then got blasted by gush of water from the Pokemon making her gurgling and thrashing about to then gasping out and spitting water out of her mouth. Feeling drenched and soaked from the starter Pokemon, as she glared at it and watched it just yawn at her and fall asleep. Making her grit her teeth and reaching over to grab a towel nearby and start drying herself off.

Once she got dried and reached over to Birch's desk as she saw a healing machine nearby and smiled. "Hey Birch, is your son still doing research or field work?" May asked as she recalled Torchic to the ball and then placed her and Poochyena's Pokeball onto the healing machine. "Cause, much I don't mind working with him. He can be annoying and very frustrating to work with." May said and groaned lightly.

"Yeah he's still out there." Birch responded and went ahead to grab his schedule book and opened it up to see where or what route he had planned for May to go and do research on? Hearing the machine turning on and healing up the Pokemon. "Right now he is currently doing research at Route 103 north from the city after route 101." Birch said and leaned away from the desk and looked at her. "If you want to work with him, you can if you want to."

May turned her head and said, "No thank you. Rather not have someone try and threaten my license by telling or snitching to my dad about how I began my journey without his consent." She muttered and looked back at the machine and grabbed the Pokeball. And placed them into her fanny-pack and walked over to Birch. "But do you have somewhere else where I don't have to worry about running into Brandon, or possibly someone telling my dad about me starting my journey?"

Birch hummed and sat on his chair and leaned against the back of his seat. "Sorry May, made a promise to your mom. That I will not allow you to go as far as Route 101, 102, 103 or 105." He informed May and saw the girl humming and looking down in thought. "Anything further than that or allowing you to actually TRAVEL in Hoenn. Is off limits, especially if you don't want your dad finding out and stripping you from your license." He said and saw May sighing and looking away and crossing her arms.

"I know…I know, mom keeps reminding me too." The girl then looks back to Birch with hopeful blue eyes. "But is there a location you haven't researched yet completely? Or possibly explored that doesn't require me having to be away from Petalburg City?" May pleaded at Birch who hummed and looked back to his book, wondering if there was a location he hadn't checked yet?

Birch then leaned close to his book and saw that the one location he hadn't investigated or researched yet was Route 104- which is the beach area west of Petalburg city. There shouldn't be any harm in having May go there and research the Pokemon in the area. He went ahead and rubbed his chin, "Well there is Route 104 but…" He paused as he wasn't sure if May is even allowed on the route? Considering what happened to her when she was very young and disappeared for almost a week.

"But?" May repeated and tilted her head, "What's the problem? Robert and I have a secret base there and we go there all the time." May said with a smile and having Birch laughing almost completely forgetting about that. "Besides, I have a Pokemon friend there that's a Gardevoir too! So it's all good I can go and explore there and do research there for you." She grinned and folded her hands behind her back, while rocking lightly. "Plus with Poocheyna being newly caught too. I don't have to worry about Torchic having to handle any of the Pokemon in the nearby area all by herself."

Birch just laughed and closed the book as May had won him over with that logic of hers and acting like a true trainer. "Well you are correct about that May, you have Pokemon with you to protect ya. And you are really familiar with the route since you and Robert, do go there and hang out at your secret base." He then turned towards May and grinned. "AND that Alpha Gardevoir you told your mom and I about, who does watch over you like a hawk sometime. You are indeed in good hands and with Pokemon on your team, we have nothing to worry about."

"So…" May then grinned and waited for an anticipated breath. "Will you let me go and research the route for you and possibly even get more Pokemon for my party!" She gleed out and then cheered when Birch couldn't help but let out a disgruntled sigh, while then laughing and nodding his head and then covered his ears with a snicker from May squealing out. "Thank you, thank you!" She was about to run but stopped with one leg in the air and quickly turned to him. "Oh wait, what Pokemon were you hoping to research there?" May asked and had Birch looking up at her and then looked up towards the ceiling.

"That's a good question?" Birch said and thought it over. "Well, since you don't have a fishing rod. You won't be able to fish out or hook any water type Pokemon from the ocean or beach side. So that's out of the question." Birch muttered and rubbed his chin. "You could land Pokemon around the beach and the possible Wingulls that flock there once in a while." He then smiled and snapped his fingers. "Oh, I heard certain months and days, Corphish tends to appear there and actually make nests there every couple of months. And this month is one of those days, maybe if you could and get lucky. Can try and research the Corphish there!"

"Corphish! Got it, they're water types though so battling them may not be a good idea." May hummed and nodded her head. "But from what I know from the TV Pokewatch channel, Corphish aren't usually aggressive unless you step into their turf, or provoke them into battling you." Then giggled. "But they can also be quite naive as well, that you can or could easily trick them into doing something else and get out of there harm free."

With that and knowing where to go next May went ahead and headed out the door. "I'll be sure to get as much information as possible! ILet my mom be back around dinner okay, I know I told her that already. But better be safe!" She giggled and closed the door behind her as she heard out of the lab and made her way to Route 104. Birch and the other aides waved goodbye to her and went back to work, with Birch standing up and walking over to the phone to go ahead and call May's mother.

As May was heading out to route 103 by going west from the next town over. The girl hummed and crossed her hums going into thought. Returning to the thoughts of catching probably another Pokemon for her team? But who will be the good question, considering that there are so many types of Pookemon- she doesn't know who or which one to add onto her team.

"Granted I could catch Corphish, they could be very useful and strong Pokemon when evolving. They're very adamant about battling too." May hummed while bringing a hand to her chin and continued walking unaware she caught the attention of Birch's son in the process. "Hmm, oh wait, my Pokedex should have that new function. Professor Birch said a couple weeks back. Something about a Pokenav." She hummed and went ahead to grab her Pokedex and opened it up and scrolled down towards the said function. "Here we go." She then opens it up and raises her hand into the air so the Pokedex can scan the current location with its radar and starts showing the silhouette of Pokemon. "Let's see…Zigzagoon, Tailow, Poochyena, oh Ralts are in the area." May giggled and continued looking through the lists of Pokemon. "Hmm…nobody interesting to find on Route 102. But researching them probably won't be a bad idea."

"Well if it isn't May! Never thought I will see you out here," came a boy's voice from behind May. Having her hum and turn her body sideways to see who it was. "And you have a Pokedex too, never thought I'd see the day where you'd finally get a Pokedex and Pokemon license." Laughed the boy as he stepped closer wearing a white cap on his head, looking eerily similar to white hair, but it was a cap. Having a green backpack sling around his shoulder and back, wearing a black and red shirt with matching long sleeve pants. "So, when did you begin your journey?"

May sighed and shook her head and pocketed the Pokedex away. "Hey Brandon. I haven't started my journey as I am trying to keep it from my dad." She said and crossed her arms. "And I hope you do the same too. Right now I can only explore the four routes right now, if I go anything further than that…and probably Rustboro?" She mused the last part out. "But yeah, I haven't EXACTLY begun my journey." Then giggled and smiled. "I am also waiting for Robert to begin his journey, once he does then I will start adventuring."

Brandon nods his head and places his hands onto his sides, "make sense. You two did promise that the two of you will begin your journey once you both got your Pokemon license and starter Pokemon." Brandon said and then shook his head. "However, I still don't know what it is you see in him. Too passive and shy for my liking, let alone he barely speaks back during school days." The boy said and had May glaring lightly, "I mean yeah- he wasn't born in Hoenn and such, but the kid could've."

"Don't disrespect him Brandon!" May shouted and leaned forward with an angry scowl. "He couldn't pick up our language all that well and you know it! I am amazed he even still went to our school despite his handicap, yet still able to do everything the teacher said or give out work." May then points a finger. "And I am happy that I was even able to make friends with him too!" She said and let out a low breath of air. "Granted…took a lot to get out of his shell, but I am glad I stuck with my guns and befriended him."

"Okay, okay sheesh…" Brandon groaned annoyingly, getting another scowl from May. "I get it, you have a huge crush on him and love him, that you don't want anyone dissing him. Sheesh…" He continued and started making May grit her teeth and twitching one eyebrow. "Ah well, even if the two of you do get together. I know who will be defending whom the most," He grinned with a snide expression. "Nothing wrong with a boy who's pathetic at Pokemon battles or raising Pokemon, have a girl to defend him and protect him."

"SHUT UP!" May shouted and had Brandon flinch. "You have no idea what he is capable of, Brandon! You never saw him around Pokemon to even give him a chance to prove himself!" May shouted and leaned back when Brandon leaned forward and retorted.

"May, he kept getting the worst scores in our class by choosing Pokemon that don't work well against other typings. He also tends to stick close to Pokemon he generally likes and even then said Pokemon ignore him, run away from him or outright ignore him." Brandon then cockily crossed his arms and continued, "I mean for crying out loud, he even got attacked by the rental Pokemon."

May rolled her eyes and jab Brandon on the chest and pushed him lightly. "That's because the Pokemon keep getting crowded and overwhelmed by the other students, Brandon! Pokemon can't handle large crowds at times, so of course they're going to be disobedient and cranky!" Then stood upright. "Besides, he does great with Pokemon. You're just blind by your own prejudice because you automatically assume he isn't good with Pokemon all because of few lessons in and about Pokemon care." May then deadpan and said bluntly. "Plus you forget that Robert's mother has a Jolteon- why you even think he wouldn't be bad with Pokemon to begin with is beyond me."

"Right, I keep forgetting that." Brandon muttered softly while sheepishly scratching the back of his neck. But still stayed firm with his opinion on the boy. "Either way- he doesn't have any potential for battling anyway. I doubt he would even last a few", Brandon then quickly ducked and jumped away when May's entire body flinched and was ready to slap him across the face but missed and stumbled forward when he moved out of the way and chuckled. "Wow someone is in a bad mood!" He taunted and quickly grabbed his Pokeball. "Fine then since you seem so highly impressed and believe Robert to be this great person. Then how about." Though nearly tripped as May turned around and huffed.

"No, I ain't going to battle you over Robert honor and such. That is so dumb and stupid, especially when I know that will be his battle, not mine." She said and began walking away holding her head high. Having Brandon stare lightly at the back of the girl realizing that she's right…if he were to challenge May for Robert's honor, it be dumb to do so when said 'person' should do the battling, not the other way around. "Anyway go bother someone else for a battle, I told your dad that I would do research on Route 104 and I am pressed on time right now. Considering it usually takes about three hours from Petalburg city to Little root town and back- and I don't know if Corphish are daytime Pokemon or night time."

This had Brandon scoffing lightly but then smirking. "Alright then, I guess I will go and spread rumors about how the Daughter of Norman, refused to battle a trainer and ran away with their tail between their legs." He provoked and had May freeze in place while feeling her entire body shivering. "I don't think that will look really well on your reputation…not even that." Brandon then cockily leaned forward and folded his hands behind his back, having May quickly spin around and face him. "But if Norman finds out that his daughter is out exploring and doing Pokemon battles behind his back."

"You wouldn't dare!" May shouted and saw Brandon eyes showing that he will indeed go spreading information about May denying to battle him and spread it across Hoenn to other trainers. "Guh…" May then bit her lip and suckled on it, she then turned sideways towards the direction where Petalburg city is and where Route 104 will be beyond the city. She saw what looked to be storm clouds coming indicating that rain is about to hit around Petalburg woods and Route 104 and the city itself within possibly…about five hours. She then turned around and face Brandon, who was now tossing a Pokeball up and down in his hand, smiling wickedly towards the girl.

"Damn it…fine he wins." May said to herself and grabbed Torchic's Pokeball. "Fine, but only one vs. one battle. I am serious about helping Professor Birch out Brandon." May said and threw her Pokeball forward and released Torchic.

"Fine by me, this will end quickly anyway!" Brandon chuckled out and threw his Pokeball forward and released Mudkip onto the battlefield as the two stared at one another for a brief moment and then charged!

The battle quickly ended after a good hour passed with the two of them showing great potential as trainers, however May lost in the end on the account Brandon had trained Mudkip pretty well and even learning its Water gun attack didn't help things either. Considering Torchic is Fuire type, it was weak to water type attacks. And Mudkip is surely skilled for someone who just began they;re journey to- the girl was not in a good mood and even more frustrated that she lost against the cocky ass boy in the first place.

May had rushed towards the Pokemon center in order to go and heal Torchic and restore her back to health, all the while waiting for Torchic to heal up and get restored. May had to go and get some lunch, much as she wanted to be hasty with everything. She couldn't really do so- considering that Nurse Joy is a close friend of her mom and dad, the woman was being sure that May would eat her meal properly and making sure to take her time when eating her lunch. Not caring if she is on a deadline or not for Birch. The woman wanted to be sure May would be fine and alright, even warning her about how there is a terrible storm coming soon.

May knows and even told Joy that is why she;s trying to rush in case if the Corphish are there in route 104, she could try and get some research done before they flee from the storm. But Joy was persistent and told May that she is still growing and needs to take the time to relax and not rush things.

This had May growled in annoyance and nods, being sure to take her time with her meal and getting her filled. After she got done eating and making sure not to waste a single drop of her food- May rushed over to the main area of the center and retrieved Torchic and was about to head straight out the door only for Joy to shout. "WHOA wait May!" watching the girl slide across the marble floor with sounds of a tire screeching against it. "I'm sorry but I cannot allow you to head to Route 104." She began saying and then quickly grabbed her radio and lifted onto the counter and turned it up.

"Yeah here at the weather institute and satellite surveillance, we can confirm that a wicked storm is slowly crossing over the western part of Hoenn and is about to hit Rustboro city, Petalburg woods, route 104 and Petalburg city. This storm came out of nowhere and is bringing in a lot of typhoons, strong winds and heavy rain that visibility will be impossible to see in it." The woman's voice came through the radio speaker. With another voice speaking back to her.

"We hear ya and we even have reports that this storm might be the strongest yet that has hit Hoenn?" A male voice came as the woman responded.

"Indeed, we urge everyone in that location to go and stay inside, to stay safe and board up anything you can to keep your houses from being damaged. Or locking away anything you have outside on your lawn or front yard…whatever! Including keeping your Pokemon inside as well! This storm is going beyond the scales and charts right now, we highly urge everyone to stay indoors or find shelter somewhere!"

Joy then turns the radio off and was about to speak and then panicked when she saw May wasn't standing in the middle of the Pokemon center "MAY!" She shouted and quickly rounded around the counter and rushed towards the front door and exited out of it. "May! May get back here, you need to head home!" Joy shouted and cried out hoping that the girl will hear her or even listen to her. But couldn't find her anywhere as she faced one of the people who were rushing home and stopped them. "Excuse me, did you see May run by any chance?! She needs to head home!"

The ace trainer turns to her and then points down towards route 104. "I saw her running towards the route. I tried stopping her and telling her it's not safe. But she said something about needing to clean out they're secret base?" He said and saw Joy widen her eyes and then turn in the direction with a concerned look, but understanding now.

"I see…her and Robert's Secret base is on route 104, she probably wants to hurry and store all their belongings…" Joy gritted her teeth and began heading inside the Pokemon center As she heard the sirens going off and wailing throughout the town as Jenny's voice echoed out.

"Attention, attention! There is a big typhoon heading in our direction west from Route 104. Attention, attention, a typhoon is heading in our direction west from Route 104. All personnel and people of Petalburg city, get to safety and anywhere that is safe. This is not a drill, I repeat this is not a drill. Anyone who is still out and about, please run and find shelter! I repeat, please run and find shelter- do not throw your lives away for anything that can easily be replaced or that might be lost, your life is more precious than some material belongings."

May heard the officer's voice as she was panting and breathing heavily as she was rushing and running across the entirety of Petalburg city. Panic in her eyes and fear etched on her face, pumping and throwing her legs hard and fast. She can hear the thunderous booms in the distance, followed by powerful winds beginning to blow through the city as she shielded her face with one arm and having one eye closed. "I need to get there, I need to hurry!" She thought to herself as images flashes through her head of the toys, furniture and dolls she and Robert had gathered together when spending time with one another. Her mother helps them find a place where they can use her Beautifly's Secret power to open up a secret base.

"Everything we have and collected as children are there and I KNOW! I did not close that secret base after leaving it this morning!" May continued speaking to herself as the streets began turning into dirt roads, as rain began falling and crashing down on everything and even on May as she felt her red bow sinking downwards and getting drenched badly! Along with her clothes, as the girl grunted and pushed through the heavy winds as she took a couple steps forward and then reached over to some pebbles and stones. She placed a hand over one of the stones and leapt over it, as she saw the beach down below and the Pokemon scurrying themselves to safety. The waves crash and roar onto the sandy beach, erupting whenever they crash hard and fast into some of the boulders and stones. Causing the girl to wince and cough lightly as some of the water splashed onto her.

"Come on May you can do this, just get in and get out!" May told herself openly and began to head towards the mountain side of where it connects to PEtalburg and the beach. Carefully walking and stepping onto the slippery rocks, boulders and pebbles, as she yelps, squeaks and even squeaks out as she feels herself falling off one of the flat stones and crashing into the ocean waters. May coughs and choke lightly as she felt half of her body submerging into the water while she grabs and hangs onto a boulder. She was getting drenched and soaked as her clothes clung to her tightly, feeling her shoes and socks being pulled right off her feet! As she did her best to pull and climb herself back onto the stone rocks with all her strength.

She felt a powerful wave crashing upwards and throwing her body up the stone, giving her the leverage she needed and quickly got up onto her bare feet and ran towards the mountain side and pressed her back against it. May panted and breathed heavily, feeling her body being weighed down by her drench clothing while feeling her hair outright hanging down. The girl quickly reach up to feel if her bow was still there, and sighed when she felt it was. The girl then quickly focuses back on the task at hand, hearing the howls and cries of the wind picking up in speed- thunder and lightning booming and crackling in the sky. The waves that were once clear blue, were now dark and scary as they crashed and roared constantly against the mountain sides, rocks and boulders surrounding the area.

May coughed and tried her best to wipe the water from her face and eyes, as she is jumping and carefully leaping on the boulders to reach the flattened of the mountain side. "Come on, come on, I only have twenty more minutes before this gets flooded."

The girl told herself as she quickly entered the secret base as it headed downwards of the mountain side. May quickly shook herself to get whatever water was on her and began rushing her way over to the portable computer device, seeing that it was still there and has an auto transport feature that it will go back to the person's home in case the environment isn't safe or there might be water rushing in. May quickly ran over to turn it on, as she then whip around and starts running towards the plushies, as she began picking them up and gathering them quickly into her arms and under arms. She will then walk over towards the PC, ignoring the pain and stinging sensation going through her feet right now. She places the plushies next to the device and quickly transfers them away!

The storm outside was getting worse and worse as water started splashing and hitting the flattened of the mountain side that leads into the secret base. May panicked when she turn her head at the entrance and saw some water coming in and splashing about. She quickly moved towards the rug on the floor and began kicking it and rolling it swiftly as possible. To then grunting and carrying it over her shoulder and slowly walking back to the console in order to send it back into storage. May panted and breathed heavily as she turned and saw more water were rushing, along with the winds howling and blowing inside the secret base now! Lightning could be seen outside as it streaked across the dark clouds and skies, thunder booming and reverberating within the secret base!

The girl then went and tried to grab some of the lamps and other minor things that were on drawers and end tables. Running herself back towards the computer and sending them away, but right before she could try and click on the other items on the pc. It turned off and teleported away, causing May to widen ehr eyes and scream out. "NO! No, no, no!" She shouted and yelled out as she turned and faced the furniture that are still left, and felt her eyes shrinking as the water was now completely rushing in and flooding the secret base! "No, no, no! Stupid Brandon!" She shouted and tried running towards the entrance.

"I would've had more time if that stupid bastard didn't force me to battle him!" But screamed when a large wave crashed right into the entrance of the secret base, knocking her off her feet and hitting the floor hard and sliding across it. Causing her to cough and spit out some water, but couldn't recover in time as another wave flew into the secret base and began filling it up with water. All the while having May hit her back against the wall! She collapsed onto her hands and knees, coughing some more and spitting even more water out. Her head whipped up and saw the drawers, beds and tables were being tousled and carried within the semi-flooded secret base. The girl groaned and slowly got back up to her feet, holding her back and began trying to rush her way out of the base as the water was up to her shins now.

The girl heard the thunder raging even louder and making it hard to hear things now, especially inside the secret base. The girl could've sworn she heard people's voices calling out for her on the other side. But whenever she tried to respond or scream back? Another large wave will crash into the secret base and flood it even more, causing May to dunk under the water and trying hard to get her footing and balance, as her eyes open and see that her bow is floating in the water now. Making her gurgle out in fear but quickly surfaced out of the water and coughed violently.

"Oh no you don't! You're not taking his birthday gift away from me!" May growled out and waddled her way to the bow and dived into it and under the water, clutching it tightly and then surface back to the water. Coughing and choking. "I can't lose you," She huffed and breathed heavily as she then grunted out and saw more water rushing and entering the secret base as it reached up to her breasts now. Making her panic and start freaking out, "Where…where…ah!" May smiled and moved over to a drawer that was now on it's back and floating against the water She quickly unlocked the top drawer and slid it upwards just enough to see inside it.

It was filled with some of her and Robert's trinkets, items, and even some Pokeballs they found laying about in the fields. "You'll be safe here." She said and put the bow inside the drawer and slammed it shut, while then quickly locking it up. "I know water would definitely not go inside it…now to get out." Mauy huffed and breathed as she turned towards the entrance. Her fears were at breaking point as once another large wave of water came crashing through and flooding the secret base even further. The water started sucking and pulling things towards the entrance and that was the bed! "NO!" She yelled and then gasped and panicked when she felt her foot slipping and went under the water, then quickly resurfacing and coughing violently.

She couldn't get her toes to touch the floor at all now the water level was too high for her. The girl began trying to swim towards the entrance and where the bed was. She went to the side of it and tried pushing and shoving it with her back, while lifting her feet against the edges of the secret base entrance. But slipped and got dunked under the water again, followed by feeling her body rolling and spinning underwater as another massive wave came and crashed into the entrance and the force caused her to get floated towards the wall, and then swiftly back towards the bed hitting her head hard against the bed frame. The girl quickly lifted herself to the surface of the water, but there wasn't much breathing room and there was only enough for her head to come out.

She was breathing hard and fast now, her hands trying hard to grip and hold onto the ceiling as much as she could to keep her head above water. She can hear the people calling out her name now and even her mother's voice and father's voice echoing out. She closed her eyes and gritted her teeth, spitting and sputtering out water whenever it entered her mouth. "MOM, DAD HELLLLMMMFF!" May tried screaming out only for another wave of water crashing once again and completely submerging the secret base entirely underwater, along with May!

Causing her to quickly close her mouth and widen her eyes in fear, as all she could see now was nothing but dark and blue water all around her. Her entire body was drenched and her clothes were sticking to her like second skin! The girl looked back to the entrance holding her breath as long she could, as she went and tried swimming towards the entrance! She felt herself being pulled towards the bed thanks to the suction, but then pushed away as the storm outside was becoming fierce and strong. To a point that it was becoming hard to even swim inside the secret base, with the constant suction and being pushed away from the entrance is making May's head spin and feeling really dizzy with the lack of air in her lungs.

May hardened her eyes and decided that she will take that as her advantage. She felt her body being pushed towards the wall once more, where she righted herself and tugged her legs close to her chest and then quickly kicked them against the wall! Feeling the suction pulling now and with her kicking against the wall, allowed her to speed across the flooded secret base and quickly grabs the bed frame! The girl let out a couple of bubbles from her mouth and shut her mouth, as she was starting to drown now- her chest was on fire and heaving heavily. The girl shook her head and began grabbing the mattress of the bed instead. Knowing there were no real wire bars or coils keeping the bed up from the floor, but the wooden beams themselves. But even that was a tough task to do, as she grunted and groaned heavily trying hard to push and shove the mattress off the bed frame.

The girl couldn't hear anything but the rushing and pounding of the waves and the boom of the thunder as she felt the suction and pushing of the waves constantly hitting her and the bedframe. Her eyes began drooping followed by her vision darkening around the edges of her vision. She shook her head and forced much will power she could to keep herself awake! More bubbles began coming out from her mouth as she placed both feet against the edge of the entrance and managed to shove and push the mattress off the bed frame! The force had her floating forward and then the girl felt herself spinning as she was completely pulled out of the entrance of the secret base and was being dragged out into sea!

She quickly swam to the surface as fast she could and let out a loud gasp of air, with her head throwing back and her body arching. "MOM! DAD!" She tried screaming only to be dunked under the water again and felt herself spinning and rolling wildly about, as she tried to kick and throw her arms and legs in many directions to swim back up to the surface. Coughing violently and gasping heavily, "MOOOM", she tried shouting again only to get dunked again and thundering of waves crashing all over her and on top of her. As she is being dragged and pulled further and further away from shore.

May is now beginning to descend and float further down into the ocean, her strength was completely gone and she was extremely tired as her hands and legs floated lazily above her as her eyes were half closed and bubbles came out from her mouth. "Mom….dad…Robert…." Her thoughts were fading away as the darkness of the sea swallowed her and her vision slowly going darker and darker. "Robert…I'm sorry…I am so sorry…" May thought to herself as she began closing her eyes and then hearing something echoing in her mind.

"Found you…The one who bears Sapphire eyes and the Sapphire blood coursing through you." The voice boomed in May's head as she felt a little bit of stamina returning and opening her eyes. Fear enveloping her as she saw what could be some kind of monster in the distance. Having blood like red veins flashing and glowing within the dark ocean and illuminating its entire body that is covered in shadows. "You are perfect for reviving the clan, fear not. I shall bear you my mark and when the time has come, I will come for you and acquire you and claim you as my own once more." The voice continued as the being began turning and making its way towards May, who felt her body shaking and trembling badly in pure fear as she tried moving and twitching her limbs but they wouldn't respond.

"You're too young right now, but eight years from now, you will be ripe for the picking. You will succeed in your destiny, Child of Sapphire. And bear the birth of reviving the clan." The voice continued as May saw the creature's red veins like patterns glowing brightly as it got closer to her and began opening up its maw and had May's eyes widening and then disappearing completely as the maw closed around her and engulfed her into darkness. "It will take eight years for my mark to fully claim your body, and when it does…you will seek me out and never return to your people again."

Then silence…as May is completely out cold and surrounding nothing but darkness. She screamed and yelled in agony and pain as she felt something coursing through her body, her silhouette could be seen twitching and convulsing within the creature's maw. Her body twisting and arching in ways a ten year old body shouldn't possibly be able to do so. Her eyes opened wide and her mouth flew open as drool flew out as red markings began etching and covering her body and then slowly dissolving and sinking into her flesh, with her forehead carving and creating the markings of an "A" shape to her forehead to then also disappearing and causing May who was still screaming, to finally pass out and go limp on the creatures tongue. Then darkness once again consumed the girl as she was carried off by the creature to who knows where, for she had no idea what this creature wanted or what it was saying to her. All she knows is that she needs to get back and go home where it's safe and be in her mothers arms again.

The storm passed after a week and everyone in Petalburg city is still searching and looking for May! Caroline and Norman would've gone down to the beach and searched around the area of where her secret base was. But Jenny and the officers wouldn't allow it, considering that the waves and water levels were completely consuming the beach. Despite the protest of the parents, Caroline told Officer Jenny that May would be down there trying to protect and save whatever items she and Robert had inside the secret base. Jenny reassured them that she will be found, but she can't risk anyone going to the beach. Parent, Gym leader or not!

And she was right cause the typhoon was tremendous and strong that anyone who get sucked into the ocean will be pulled out. Jenny though sweatdropped and sheepishly shielded herself by raising her hands, as Norman threatened to have her fired and even sue the police for preventing him from finding his daughter at the beach. Despite Caroline trying to calm him down and telling him how brash he's being. Even after Jenny told him how they have rescue teams out on sea surveilling the surrounding area!

Before the argument could escalate Jenny's radio went off and answered it. Then widening her eyes in panic and hearing the search team, saying how they heard May's voice out in the ocean and in pursuit to rescue her! This had Caroline nearly going white and passing out from hearing that, but quickly steady herself as Norman caught her and let her lean into him.

That was on the day of the storm and after the week and everything calming down. Everyone is now walking and searching all around the beach and mountain side. Jenny shouts, "Alright everyone I know we're tired and exhausted. But we are not going to stop finding May!" She growled out even if she had dark circles under her eyes, indicating how tired and exhausted she was, including some of the other people. Especially Caroline and Norman who are still looking and searching around the mountain side. But the waves were still a little too dangerous, so reaching the secret base was still a no go. "So please, if you find any sort of clue or evidence of where she is…don't…don't hesitate to let us know or the parents." Jenny yawned out and shook her head.

The crowd spread out once more and began looking and searching for May. Even calling out her name in hopes of the girl responding back. We see Caroline standing at the edge of the beach and where the cliffside was of the mountain. Knowing full well the secret base was there and bit her lower lip- she then turned towards the dark ocean as the clouds were still around but slowly disappearing from the typhoon. "May…" Caroline said and then turned to Norman, who saw his Pokemon coming back from the Secret base and seemingly worried and distraught for the girl when they approached their trainer. Caroline quickly ran over and asked, "Did you find her!? Was she there?"

Only to gasp and saw Vigoroth opening his hands and showing May's red bow that Robert gave her. The mother took it and saw how drenched it was and seemingly crinkled up too. As if rushed inside one of the drawers in the secret base. "...May…" She then turned to Norman and saw him recalling his Pokemon. "This is proof she was"

"Knew shouldn't have given her that fucking base, especially when he was around." Norman suddenly said and clenched his fist. Getting Caroline to harden her eyes and growled out.

"Don't you fucking dare, DARE point this blame on Robert!" She shouted and shoved Norman. "You seriously going to blame a possible ten year old kid, for why May disappeared?!" She scowled and scolded. "Robert is not even here and you dare to blame him."

"IF you didn't give them the secret base and allowed the two of them to hang out. Then this wouldn't happen, especially with that outsider!" Norman then felt something hard and fast hit against his face. Causing him to stagger back and winced slightly from the pain.

"Listen to yourself!" She scolded and threw her arms about. "I understand we're tired and exhausted, but how dare you! Call Robert and his family outsiders just because they moved from the Unova region and moved here." She then gritted her teeth. "I don't know what is going on or why your behaving like an ass! But calling his family outsiders is far enough and I won't let you get away calling them that." She then balled her fists. "If anything, if May HADN'T met Robert in school, she wouldn't have been able to make any friends there let alone talk to any of the other kids there. If it wasn't for him helping her out with a Pokemon during school. She wouldn't be as active the way she is now."

"Well then either way, giving them a secret base was bad in itself. Especially down here near the beach!" He growled and snapped back while throwing his arm towards the direction. "I mean come on! What were you.." Then quickly stopped and raised his hands in defense as Caroline had a serious look and ready her hand for another slap. "Right, right exhaustion talking ahem…" He quickly cleared his throat and saw Caroline shaking her head and sighing roughly. They continued looking and searching around the beach area, as the Pokemon from the coast guard can be seen swimming and scouring the ocean waves from where she could see them from the beach.

After a while and walking along the beach side Caroline hummed and saw something in the distance that is close to the mountain side of where Petalburg woods is. She squinted her eyes and then widened them as she screeched out, "MAY!" alerting everyone in the area including Norman, who quickly turns around and begins running after his wife. "May, oh gos May, May!" Caroline continued screaming and shouting as she spotted her daughter resting up against some boulders and rocks of the mountain side. Not caring if she would get soaked, the mother immediately ran into the water that was going up to her waist, waddling through and slashing against the water surface to reach the girl.

Norman stopped and then raised both hands to his mouth and hollering. "GET MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND AMBULANCE, WE FOUND HER!" He shouted to some people and Jenny who were nearby as Jenny nodded and goes ahead grabbing her radio and calling in to the station as Norman went ahead and joined his wife who is with May, as the two were shaking and moving May about to wake her up.

"We have found her, I repeat we have found May. Please send in the ambulance immediately and the medical team to Route 104!" Jenny's voice echoed out as May, who is now in her mother's arms, began groaning and moving her head lightly as she felt her mother's arms and embrace as her sapphire eyes slowly opened. Everything is slightly blurry and her hearing was still muffled, but she could see her parents who looked exhausted, tired and weak from whatever she wasn't sure from.

"...Mom?" May slowly said and felt herself being scooped into her mother's arms as she was being lifted and carried away from the water and slowly making their way over to the beach side. "Where…am I?" May asked and saw her mother looking down to her and smiling softly while having tears running down her face.

"Shh, shh it's okay May, it's alright now your safe baby, your safe. Just please rest and sleep, everything will be fine. Everything will be okay." Caroline said to May who looked weakly towards her and nodded weakly as she then spoke weakly.

"I lost…his…present." May said and then saw her mother shaking her head, while asking Norman to grab the bow from her pocket in which he nodded and softly reached inside and grabbed it. Still soaked and drenched but it was drying up and then hands it over to May, who moved her right hand out and grabs it and quickly hugs it close to herself smiling softly and saying. "Good…I…didn't lose it. Robert will be happy…" then began passing out slowly and feeling her eyes growing heavy as she heard sounds of a siren going off along with flashing color lights as she rested her head against her mother's covered breasts as Caroline hummed as she then heard May saying. "K…ogre…clan…" and fell asleep in Caroline's arms.

Having her and Norman to look towards one another wondering what May was saying? Along with wondering if a Pokemon had saved her and protected her during the storm, while bringing her back after the typhoon left and ended a week ago? Caroline then whispers, "You don't think she means…'that' Pokemon do you?" To her husband who hummed and crossed his arms and rubbing his chin.

"Come to think of it and from what legends say? Kyogre does have an ability that causes massive storms and typhoons in its wake wherever it goes." He started saying and then looked at May and felt his face faltering. "But…nobody knows if Kyogre even exists or is still around? LEt alone awaken from its slumber." He continued as they faced their daughter and Caroline, gently and tenderly stroking her daughter's cheek as she snuggled closer against her mothers body. "For now let's just try and get May safe and sound, along with resting and warming up. Who knows how long she's been out in the ocean…even if a Pokemon cared for her. We still gotta be sure she's healthy."

Caroline agreed and began walking towards the ambulance truck and entering inside so it can take them to the nearest hospital. Curious and wondering what Pokemon had come and saved her daughter, and if it could be Kyogre who saved her?

PResent timeline we see May mindlessly entering Route 104 now, bare foot and dressed in her traveling clothes as her Pokemon pokeballs bounce and jiggle against her fanny-pack that's wrap around her waist. Carrying and holding Combusken, Mightyena and a third Pokemon she caught during one of her research trips and meeting up with Robert a couple months ago. Her sapphire eyes glimmer and glisten within the sun as she begins descending down the road leading to the beach, while then turning to the left and heading south of the beach. The same path that leads to her and Robert's secret base. A voice echoed in her head as she approached underneath the mountain side of Petalburg city and carefully stepped and walked on the flat stones and boulders that she carved and made with Cumbusken a couple years back, so it would be easier to walk to said secret base and not be so dangerous.

The voice rang out into her head as May's willpower is slowly fading away and her consciousness is being consumed by the Pokemon who has a hold on her. As the red markings continued traveling and covering her skin and body, the main symbol on her forehead is at full force and beginning to turn May's skin slightly into Sapphire color. "I will meet you soon, my chosen child, to come with me and rebuild our clan…Clan of Sapphire will flourish once more and shall take siege of this modern world."

"I will…wait for you…and be taken from this world…I will make the Sapphire clan once more…" May's voice echoed out as she began walking further towards the Secret base as she stopped in front of it. Standing there and peeking down the stairway that leads into the secret base as her mental strength is waning and is almost completely gone. Fighting against the control and hold the Pokemon has on her, but she is unable to resist or stop her bdy from moving and walking as she yelled and screamed inside her mind, hoping to break free and have her voice be heard as she felt herself entering the secret base, lying in wait for when the Pokemon will come and take her away, far away from the modern world and take siege of Hoenn for taking away their Sapphire clan away and left them in ruins.

Who knows how long this Pokemon will arrive and claim May, for they are slowly making their way to take her away for good! What peril awaits our heroes and will they be able to rescue May before the Pokemon comes?! The clock is racing as Caroline is taking the steps to gather help and assistance to find her Daughter, all the while hoping to call and ask Robert for assistance! Will our heroes be able to rescue May, and what Pokemon that wants to rebuild the Sapphire clan? A disastrous battle is over the horizon as our hero's journey…continues.
