New Wardrobe
Snow surprises Hanna with her entire wardrobe and Hanna fakes happy. I set this one in season 3 when they're in the Enchanted Forest.
"Everything is finally done," Snow said.
Hanna looked up from her book. "What is?"
"Your new clothes." Snow took Hanna's hand, pulled up her up from the couch, and led her upstairs to her bedroom.
"I know you've had to wear the same couple dresses for awhile now, and I'm sorry about that, but the seamstress has finally finished your new wardrobe." Snow spent days working with her to get Hanna's outfits just right.
Hanna was excited to finally have something else to wear besides these dresses. She was kind of getting use to them, but was defiantly ready for a pair of jeans or some sweat pants.
Snow took Hanna to her closet and opened the doors. "Well, what do you think?"
Hanna looked into the closet and all she saw were dresses. A lot of dresses.
Snow sifted through the clothes. "Look, you have several nightgowns for bedtime, dresses for during the day, a few gowns for special occasions."
"Are there any pants?" Hanna asked.
"Yes, here." Snow pulled out an outfit. "You have several outfits for riding too."
"Everything else is a dress though?"
Snow nodded. "They're all very comfortable. I made sure of that. What do you think?"
Hanna was about to complain, but the smile on her mom's face made her think twice. "I love them, Mom."
"You really do?"
Hanna nodded. "Mhmm."
Snow wrapped her arms around her daughter and held her close. "I just want you to be happy here."
Hanna returned the hug. She didn't know if the Enchanted Forest would ever feel like home, but if wearing these clothes brought her mom this much joy, then that would give Hanna a bit of happiness too.
