Epilogue: Returning Home For A Long Deserved Break!
Steven returned Metagross.
Audrey - "All six of Champion Steven's Pokémon are knocked out. So the winner, and your NEW Pokemon League Champion of Hoenn, is Michael Masi of Pokémon Island!"
Steven - "Just as I've come to expect. Michael, you are truly an excellent Pokémon Trainer. Congratulations to you! And thank you… I had wanted to learn how you feel about this world, what kinds of ideals you have developed with your Pokémon… I feel I was able to find the answer in our battle. The feelings you have for your Pokémon… And the way that your Pokémon gave their all in battle in response to those feelings… Those two together created a great power. That is how you seized victory today. I felt a thrill of excitement in my breast when we first met, and now I know for sure that feeling was not misplaced! You are rightfully the Hoenn Region's new Champion!"
Michael then met with Steven at midfield.
Steven - "Congrats Michael. You're now the Hoenn League Champion."
Michael - "Thanks. So I'm guessing I take a photo with you and Mr. Goodshow like I did with Lance back at the Indigo Plateau?"
Steven - "That's right. And the photo of you and your Pokémon too."
Michael - "Oh right. Let me go ahead and get everyone else out while we wait for Mr. Goodshow then."
Steven - "Good idea."
Alongside Swampert, Delcatty, and Empoleon, Michael had also brought out Espeon, Incineroar, Sceptile, and Greninja
Mr. Goodshow - "Huh. Not as many as back at the Indigo Plateau."
Michael - "I'll admit I still had a challenge to overcome."
Steven - "Yes. Yes you did."
Soon the pics were taken. After that, Michael had lunch with everyone followed by getting on the cruise ship to head home.
Twilight - "Well Michael. Hopefully our trip across Sinnoh won't be as crazy as Hoenn was."
Michael - "Don't be so quick to say that Twilight. Every region has their own lore and history. Along with an evil team willing to repeat said history just to succeed in their goals."
Ruby - "But still. I'm hoping the journey's more fun than anything."
Michael - "It will Ruby. But when it turns out that the fate of the region, if not the world is at stake. Then fun and games will have to be put on hold until the problem is taken care of."
Ame - "By the way Michael. How long of a break are you doing this time?"
Michael - "No way, to be honest. Perhaps a year this time. I know we're all gonna need a good amount to unwind after what happened."
Weiss - "You have something else in mind, don't you?"
Michael - "I do. And that's you learning as much about Sinnoh's history as possible."
Yang - "You sure we need to?"
Michael - "Yes. You girl can't always depend on me for a history lesson."
Roxanne - "He's not wrong. So I'm guessing you want us to learn about all of Sinnoh's history then?"
Michael - "Yes. And Hisui's history too."
Girls - "Yes sir!"
After a day's trip at sea, Michael and the girls were welcomed home, not only cause Michael had won the Hoenn League, but also cause they had saved the world.
