Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Bloodlines. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own My Hero Academia. Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

Volt rubbed at his head. His costume always seemed to cling to him. Volt joked about static electricity, but maybe there was something more to it when he thought about it. Maybe it was part of his quirk or such.

He blinked at the sight of a spark that seemed to jump from behind him. It was quite unusual, that only seemed to happen when someone was near him.

Still? He couldn't really complain when he thought about it. There were dozens of people in the city, it was quite curious to him when he considered it, but he'd have to review it later.

"Remind me why I have to track this guy down?" Someone behind him questioned out of earshot.

"Because of how dangerous he is, their talking about how lethal his quirk is." The voice replied while he continued walking. "Speaking of quirks? Doesn't your let you sneak up on people? Why don't you just pretend to be another hero then stab him in the back or so?" The voice questioned while the being rolled her eyes.

"Because that's stupid." She pointed out with a roll of her eyes once more.

It was boring. There was no challenge, no desire to prove she was superior. She wanted blood, there was no better way to get blood when you could rile someone up. Toga had heard that Volt could boil someone's blood with how powerful his quirk was.

That was why she had taken this mission, what better reason to track down a hero that was powerful enough to turn someone into bacon at full power then a shapeshifter? It would be fun to see them slowly crack and break down into a villain if she could. All it would take is a single push in the right direction and she'd be able to corrupt him, that made the blood that much sweeter when she thought about it.

"This should be fun…" Toga said while twirling one of her many knives.

She knew Volt had gone to take care of some thugs in town. A scrapping of runts who weren't worthy of the name of villain, much less the title of criminal. Toga would keep notes on her assignment, much like how most of the hero society seemed to be doing at the moment.

Still? It wasn't like she could let her target die. Her orders weren't to kill Volt… Yet, simply see how powerful the 'hero' was and if he was worthy of the idea she had in her mind.

"TOGA!" Her phone hissed which caused the villainous to wince.

She sighed and rolled her eyes at her friends. They were far more annoying when it came down to it. She did love them; they were very fun to play with… But Toga was not someone who took orders like a dog so easily. That wasn't helped if someone simply shouted them at her without any attempt to really try and make her invested.

"Busy." Toga said, a fanged smile pulling at her mischievous eyes the more she thought about it.

This was busy work, but it was still something the crazed bloodthirsty assassin could enjoy… It was ALL she enjoyed, this much fun was something she lusted after as much as those who had the most delicious blood.

"Volt? Where are you, we have one of the criminals here with their own quirk." Volt heard as he sighed and shook his head.

"Vines, I also have a few other crimes to deal with from what I'm seeing… How bad is it?" Volt questioned as he began moving in with an interest.

"Bad enough to where things are blowing up… I've heard the police are dealing with the others." Vine replied at the other end of his phone.

Vine shook his head and rushed off towards that way, blasting himself off the ground with blasts of electricity. He knew for a fact that if they gave VINES an issue? Then these were not normal criminals. It had to be an issue. He could only curse with anger at this. He guessed that Vines had already started to stop them with the police.

If there was such an issue? Then he would step in. There were far more issues at the moment for him to attend to. He could only hope that everyone was ok in that area. One could never be too careful in the era they lived in.

He didn't know that Toga was following him. If he did? It would probably not end well for one of them at the time. Still? There was going to be an issue at the moment. Toga smirked, her fang like teeth poking out from her mouth and hummed.

Neither knew what the future held at the moment. Still? It was something FAR more dangerous for her to be here.
