Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Bloodlines. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own My Hero Academia. Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

Volt was questioning why there was plenty of villains in the town. Not the massive ones, the dozens of thugs like this massive army of criminals in front of him.

He let out a blast of electricity as he slid to a stop behind a car as he shook his head and stopped.

"What's the matter, Vines? Too busy?" Volt questioned while he cracked his fingers. "How are you guys still having trouble?" Volt questioned as bullets began to fire through the air all over his head.

The hero looked at Vines. The plant-based hero was cloaked in a palm tree like helmet, a black and green tunic that seemed to have vines draped over it. Vines rolled his eye, joking at his friend who seemed obvious to the sarcasm.

"Nice of you to show up, Volts." Vine put in as he turned and ducked under a barrage of bullets at the moment.

"How are things this bad at this time?" Volt questioned while he blasted a small bolt of lightning forward.

One of the thugs was forced to duck, electricity flying through the air. He was curious just about WHAT things had brought these criminals to this stage of things. Volt guessed that the disappearance of All-Might had lowered the fear of the law and were now sweeping into take advantage.

"You know, the usual." Volt heard from Vines as the duo looked down while the gunfight and the cops started anew. "The cops went after their getaway car. I guess they're trying to keep us on our toes so they can steal more things." Vine said while garnered a roll of the eyes from Volt.

"Gee, expert hero work, Vines." Volt stated, shaking his head as he started to think about their next move. "You know we need to sweep around them. You said something about a quirk or something like that? Do one of them have a quirk or such?" Volt questioned, trying to look over the cover at the criminals.

He was greeted by more thugs; Volt sighed and cracked his neck. He knew for a fact that they had to figure out HOW the rest of these thugs had gotten armed. Volt fired a single blast which sparked off the gunpower in the air, one of the thugs dropped their gun which exploded into nothing.

"Vines, cover me." Volt stated as he vaulted over the car, starting to hope that one of them didn't get a lucky hit.

(With Toga)

Toga was quite curious about HOW Volt was so good at this. She watched one of the thugs collapse to the ground, hold at his shocked arm. He got a grunt of pain before one of the thugs started to look at him, raising their gun with a scowl on their face.

Toga wondered if she should get involved, it would be fun to get more blood, tasty warm blood… But then again? She was here to make sure that Volts was worthy of the title of villain. It wouldn't help if she stepped in, doing something stupid like aiding him when it came down to it.

"Toga, status report." Toga heard over the radio while she sighed to herself.

"Sparky is busy blasting people, you already asked me this." Toga stated for a moment as she looked at her knife.

It wouldn't take more then a few seconds to simply cut one, taking some small few licks of blood. Was that so horrid to ask for? It seemed to be considering how much she was prevented from doing that one simple thing.

"Don't get too eager, Toga… He'd fry you to bacon and you know that." Toga heard which made her grin.

She wanted to fight Volt, wanted to see how he handled, how she could beat him and how his DELICIOUS blood would surely be.

But she held her ground for now. Toga watched Volt throw one of the soldiers backwards with a jolt from his hands. The thug slammed into the wall, slowly slumping to the ground. She watched a few drops of the delicious liquid fall to the ground with such amusement.

Volt turned to see the police and the others beginning to handle the others. 2 of the thugs turned and ran, clutching their bags of loot under their hands. Volt sighed and looked over his shoulder to make sure that the rest of the group was currently taken down.

Volt turned and ran after the thugs, his hands sparking with power while he started to think about what was going to happen today.

She couldn't contain it. Toga HAD to join the battle; this was making her ready to snap. She wanted to rip into Volt… SHE HAD TO. She giggled, grabbing her knives and spinning them through her fingers a few seconds once more.

Toga giggled to herself with amusement.
