The Warriors: From Zero to Hero

A goddess summons four warriors to stop a madman from conquering the multiverse and save the day. But before they can set off to stop him they must start with a practice world first. And that practice world was in a world where they try to help a man named Hercules who must become a true hero so he can go back home to Mount Olympus.

4. Chapter 4

The Warriors: From Zero to Hero

Chapter 4

Hades sends his two minions Pain and Panic to find Baby Hercules drain him of his god glow and kill him

The scene changes to a chamber with the Fates

Darling, hold that mortal's thread of life good and tight. Atropos said

Atropos cuts a thread with scissors and a woman's scream is heard

Incoming! Lachesis said

The Fates laugh as a soul enters the cave and flies into a tunnel. The counter above the tunnel now says "Over 5000000001 served"

Ladies! Hah! I am so sorry that i'm... Hades said

Late! the fates said

Yeah. Hades said

We knew you would be. Clotho said

We know everything. Lachesis said

They pass their only eye from one another as they speak the next three lines

Past. Clotho said

Present. Lachesis said

And future. Atropos said

Atropos whispers to Panic about something

Indoor plumbing. It's gonna be big. Atropos said

Great. Great. Anyway, see, Ladies, i was at this party, and i lost track of... Hades said

We know! the fates said

Yeah. I know...you know. Hades said

Hades goes over to a map table depicting Greece with pawns of Zeus and the gods

So, here's the deal. Zeus, Mr. High and Mighty, Mr. "Hey, you, get off of my cloud". Now, he has... Hades said

A bouncing baby brat. the fates said

We know! Clotho said

Hades angrily bursts into flames

I know! You know. I know. I got it. I got the concept. Hades said

Good. the fates said

So, let me just ask: Is this kid gonna mess up my hostile takeover bid, or what? What do you think? Hades said

Um... Lachesis said

Oh no, you don't. We are not supposed to reveal the future. Clotho said

A spider lowers out of Clotho's nostril which she sniffs it back inside

Oh wait, I'm sorry. Time out. Can I? Can I ask you a question, by the way? Hades said

Yes? Lachesis said

Are you...did you cut your hair or something? You look fabulous. Hades said

(Giggles) Lachesis giggled

I mean, you look like a fate worse than death. Hades said

Lachesis giggles more until Clotho hits her on the head and the eye fell into the hands of Panic

Oh, gross! Panic said

Yech! It's blinkin'! Pain said

Pain kicks it into Hades' hand who pulls off a dust strand from the eye

Ladies, please, my fate... Hades said

Hades puts the eye to Lachesis' hand

Is in your lovely hands. Hades said

Oh? Lachesis said

Oh all right. Clotho said

The eye raises in the air showing pictures of the future

In 18 years precisely, the planets will align ever so nicely. Atropos said

Ay, verse. Oy. Hades said

The time to act will be at hand. Unleash the Titans, your monstrous band. Atropos said

Mm-hmm, good, good. Hades said

Then, the once-proud Zeus will finally fall, and you, Hades, will rule all! Atropos said

Thrilled with the news Hades bursts into flames

Yes! Hades rules! Hades said

A word of caution to this tale. Atropos said

Excuse me? Hades said

Should Hercules fight, you will fail. Atropos said

The Fates then disappear while cackling as Hades angrily bursts into flames

WHAAAT?! Okay, fine, fine, i'm cool, i'm fine. Hades said

Suddenly a bell dings and the doors open to show Hades and his boys standing in front of a skeleton-decorated vault with a vial shown in the center

Pain? Panic? I got a little riddle for ya. How do you kill a god? Hades said

I do not...know! Pain said

You can't. Panic said

Why? Hades said

They're immortal? Panic said

Bingo! They're immortal. Hades said

Hades takes a vial with red liquid and the camera zooms at it filling the screen

So first you got to turn the little sunspot...mortal. Hades said

Back at Mount Olympus the night sky is brought over Mount Olympus by the night god Nyk driving his goats across the atmosphere as Baby Hercules and Baby Pegasus are sleeping together and the shadows of Pain and Panic crawl over Baby Hercules and grab him fortunately the sounds of glass breaking and Pain and Panic tittering make Zeus and Hera wake up

Huh? Zeus said

What? What is it? Hera said

Suddenly Zeus and Hera realized what was going on

The baby! Zeus and Hera both said

Zeus and Here run to the cradle they only find Baby Pegasus but Baby Hercules was gone

Hercules! Oh! Hera said

Hera starts sobbing while Zeus got very angry

NOOOOOOO! Zeus said

As Zeus screams no some lightning bolts flash and a giant thunderstorm rages over Olympus as Pain and Panic fly down to Earth carrying Baby Hercules

Now, we did it! Zeus is gonna use us for target practice! Panic said

Just hang onto the kid, Panic! Pain said

Pain and Panic fall to the ground and Baby Hercules starts crying

Hurry! Let's just kill the kid and get it over with, okay? Panic said

Here you go, kid. A little Grecian formula. Pain said

Pain opens the vial puts a rubber sippy on it and makes Baby Hercules drink it

Look at that! He's...changing. Panic said

Baby Hercules stops glowing as he drinks the potion

Can we do it now? Panic said

No, no, no, he has to drink the whole potion! Every last drop. Pain said

Who's there? a voice said

Uh oh. Pain and Panic both said

Pain and Panic run away dropping the empty vial as it breaks and one last drop falls onto the ground

Alcmene, over here. Amphitryon said

What is it? Alcmene said

Look. Amphitryon said

Oh, you poor thing! Oh, don't cry. Alcmene said

Is anybody there? Amphitryon said

Pain and Panic look on from the bushes

Now? Panic said

Now. Pain said

Pain and Panic's shadows are shown as they walk and transform into snakes

Oh well, he must have been abandoned. Amphitryon said

For so many years we've prayed to the gods to bless us with a child. Alcmene said

Yes. I know. Amphitryon said

Perhaps, they've answered our prayers. Alcmene said

Perhaps they have... Amphitryon said

Amphitryon reads Hercules's name from a medallion on his neck

Hercules? Amphitryon said

Pain and Panic as snakes attack but Baby Hercules catches them and giggling happily hits them several times against the ground ties into a knot and throws them far away as Amphitryon and Alcmene stare with their jaws dropped

What on earth? Alcmene said

Oh my god. Amphitryon said

Help, help, help! Pain and Panic both said

Pain and Panic turn back to their normal forms

Hades is gonna kill us when he finds out what happened. Panic said

You mean if he finds out! Pain said

If? Panic said

Yeah. Pain said

Of course, he's gonna f...if...if is good. Panic said

Yeah. Pain said

We go back to Mount Olympus in dark clouds and then resolve to the Muses

It was tragic. Zeus led all the gods on a frantic search. Calliope said

But by the time they found the baby, it was too late. Terpsichore said

(Young Herc was mortal now.)

(But since he did not drink the last drop.)

(He still retained his godlike strength.)

(So thank his lucky star!)

(But Zeus and Hera wept)

(Because their son could never come home.)

(They'd have to watch their precious baby.)

(Grow up from afar.)

(Though Hades' horrid plan.)

(Was hatched before Herc cut his first tooth.)

(The boy grew stronger every day.)

(And that's the gospel truth!)

We had to a country with sheep baaing as a carriage with a lot of hay moves along the road unnaturally fast then we see Amphitryon and his horse sitting before it

Hercules, slow down! Amphitryon said

Baby Hercules was no longer a baby but was now a teenager and now he and Amphitryon are heading somewhere very important but where stay tuned
