AN: Hi guys this is a new fic based on my old sasunaru fic, so SASUNARU BOYXBOY don't like don't read. I used to always update but life got in the way and so I wasn't able to update and at one point you guys had to wait 2-3 months just for like a 400 word chapter. So sorry. This is going to be almost exact to my old fix, just better and longer with more detail and the other reason that I'm about to mention. I just noticed how fast Sasuke and Naruto got together in my old fic so that will definitely change. Also the fic name means 'Naruto loves' .So without further adieu let's get into it:

Chapter one: A rude awakening

Naruto slowly walked down the street with teary eyes as he failed the ninja exam for the 3rd time. He winced he felt a rain drop fall on his shoulder. "..." Naruto wanted to scream at the gods, why was it always him? But he just couldn't. How could he have let himself fail again? 'Should I just give up?...' Naruto thought as he kicked a rock and watched it skit along the hard road. Naruto jumped as someone placed a firm hand on his left shoulder. "SHIT." Naruto yelled as he turned around hoping it wasn't one of the drunk villagers trying to beat him up 'cause he was a 'demon' or something. As the shock wore off Naruto narrowed his eyes when he saw who it was. "M-mizuki sensei?" Mizuki had a wide smile, and with a chuckle he said; "Naruto I have something for you to become a ninja." Naruto's eyes widened but looked a little skeptical. "Are you sure sensei?" Naruto watched as Mizuki's smile turned into a grin. "Yep." Naruto relaxed a little bit as in his eyes he saw that this was true. Even if it wasn't, what could Mizuki do anyway? "Okay so how do I do it?" Naruto stood as patient as he could as he heard Mizuki blabber on about what he had to do. Naruto only focused on what was important, something like get to hokage tower...forbidden scroll...meet at blah blah blah forest…and things like that. Naruto nodded as Mizuki finished what he was saying with a nod he ran to the hokage tower. Naruto turned around and saw Mizuki smirking, he wondered why he was smirking as he neared the hokage tower

Naruto smirked as he finally got the technique of a forbidden jutsu. "Shadow clone jutsu!" Naruto watched satisfied as 10 clones of himself popped into existence. "Wow, it was never this easy with the normal bunshin. Am I that cool!?" Naruto dispersed his shadow clones as he was deep in thought of how amazing he was. "Naruto!" Naruto smirked as he knew whose voice it belonged to. "Iruka-sensei!" Instead of hugging him like Naruto expected, Iruka decided to hit him upside the head. Naruto yelled in pain as he clutched his head. "Hey! What was that for!?" Iruka looked really pissed so Naruto wondered what happened. He watched as Iruka glanced at the scroll he lay on the floor half open. It took a moment for Naruto to connect the dots before he looked at the scroll and then back at Iruka and he grinned sheepishly. "Sorry Iruka, this was the only way for me to pass the ninja exam!" To his surprise Iruka looked at him surprised. He watched as Iruka said slowly, "Who told you that?" Naruto didn't know what the big deal was. "Mizuki sensei, why?" Iruka's eyes widened as he looked around. "Shit." Almost as soon as he said that Mizuki appeared from the bushes with a devilish smirk on his face. "Mizuki sensei?" Naruto said in a small suspicious voice. Mizuki glanced at Naruto and then at Iruka and then grinned. "Well Iruka fancy seeing you her-" Iruka interrupted looking angry, "Cut the bullshit Mizuki, why are you tricking Naruto into stealing the forbidden scroll, basically every jonin and chunin in the whole village is looking for him!" Mizuki pulled out a sharp kunei, and without directly answering him he said "Why don't we test your skills Iruka? I hope all your years of teaching haven't made you rusty." It wasn't the most intimidating thing Iruka had heard but it was enough to get Iruka even more pissed off. Naruto watched as Iruka and Mizuki went to face each other. He took note of how Mizuki smiled slightly while Iruka had a rare expression of looking pissed. As the battle started all Naruto could see were just blurs of Mizuki and Iruka as his not even genin eyes couldn't come close to comprehend what he was seeing. In a stupid move Naruto closed his eyes thinking this was another horrid nightmare and then heard a cry of pain. Naruto opened his eyes and looked shocked as Mizuki had just planted a kunei deep into Iruka's lungs where his heart was close by. Naruto watched in horror as he saw his closest-thing-to-his-dad intensely cough up blood. "Naruto." Was the last thing that Iruka said before Mizuki twisted the kunei into him and taking his last breath Iruka closed his eyes for the final time, letting the arms of death engulf him. Mizuki chuckled and replied with a "Good riddance." At this point Naruto was crying softly knowing that he, yes he, had indirectly caused Iruka's death. When Mizuki looked at him with the same wide grin as before he lost it. With a burst of energy he was running straight at Mizuki. Mizuki's smile faltered a bit as he saw that this Naruto was somehow more powerful than the Naruto he just looked at a few moments ago. "Ah fuck." Naruto leaped at Mizuki to jump on him just to twist mid air to avoid Mizuki's now slowed down punch. Naruto smirked and yelled, "Shadow clone jutsu!" Mizuki notebly deadpanned as he saw one thousand stronger-than-normal Naruto's start to run towards him. "Shit." Mizuki closed his eyes waiting for the absolute ass whopping he was going to receive and for a few moments nothing happened so Mizuki thought that he was safe and as he opened his eyes slowly he saw a foot that was waiting to crash onto his face "AHHHHH." Naruto smirked but then paused his beating of Mizuki to frown as he thought of Iruka. Mizuki took the pause as an opening and as Naruto paused and seemed to be in his own world he got up and ran to sucker punch Naruto on the face. As soon as he hit 'Naruto' and he saw it poof, he knew he was screwed. "Wai-" Mizuki never got to finish what he was about to say as he was cut off just like Iruka did some minutes ago. With a flick Mizuki's now decapitated head dropped with the rest of his worthless disgusting body Naruto looked down and saw that the bitch had the audacity to have a surprised look on his face. Naruto smirked looking satisfied saying, "Hey Mizuki was in for a rude awakening." before he blinked a few times as the effect wore off and realized what he just did. With a scared look he said, "What did I just d-" Naruto was cut off by someone knocking him unconscious. "Naruto you dumb ass dobe."

That's it guys. I tried to give it a cliffhanger because I am so evil *laughs evilly* so if you read my old fic (which I doubt you did but i'm just saying) you will know who knocked him unconscious. But for the sake of why not I made it easier for you guys to guess who it is. Believe it or not this is my longest chapter ever 1.3k words 3x longer than my old chapters so that's an improvement.
