Family reunited
prologue
We see a young adult with wild, fluffy, green hair in what looks like a forest. This child was carrying three bundles of shion and red spider lily. In front of him were three different graves.
"My friends, the only ones who accepted me, sniff, i finally managed to awaken my quirk. Chuckle, it looks like bakago was useful for one thing. My quirk awakened and allowed me to be able to take my rage out on him, which he deserved." the child grew even more sad than he already was. "If only you three were still here, then i would've GLADLY shown you my quirk. Maybe then, we could've cuddled while i was using it, sniff."
He turned towards the first grave. "Lykos, my beautiful, silver wolf. Chuckle. You didn't like me when we first met. Good thing i was calm and tried soothing you, so i could heal you injury as best as i could."
Memory start
You see, when the boy was lost in a forest near the city, abandoned by his so-called friend, izuku wandered with nothing but the clothes on his back, and the pouch containing his ocarina. Interestingly, despite all the abuse from his former friend, and all the attempts to destroy it by said former friend, the ocarina turns out to be near indestructible, shown by the slightest markings from all the explosions. Anyway, the boy was wandering, when he came upon a direwolf, its leg caught in a trap. Understandably, the direwolf was in a LOT of pain. Then it saw izuku, and snarled.
The child put his hands in front of him, showing he was there to cause no harm. "Hey, hey, who would trap a wolf as gorgeous as you, huh?" the child said in a gentle tone. The direwolf calmed down, ever so slightly, at the tone.
"Do you want me to free you?" the child asked. The direwolf whined. "Alright, just hold still for a bit." the child then threw all the strength he could into opening the trap. Once it was open enough, the direwolf jerked its leg out, then the child released his hold on the trap. The child saw that the limb of the direwolf was injured pretty badly. "You're hurt. May i please help you? No creature as beautiful as you deserves to suffer," the child asked in a soft and gentle tone.
The direwolf collapsed, then whined. "Alright, thank you for the trust. Luckily, i recognized a good deal of plants that can aid in the healing process," the child said.
The child left in a hurry, gathered everything needed (that he could reach, with his 6-yr-old frame) and raced back to the direwolf. "I'm back with all i could, beautiful. I'm about to begin, just please bear with the pain until i finish," the child said.
It took at least four hours, but izuku was able to finish binding and covering the wound with natural bandages and anesthetic, as well as a natural version of hydrogen peroxide.
"There we go," the child said in a tired voice. The direwolf decided to give him a tongue bath tail wagging in appreciation.
Suddenly, a woman's voice called out, "izuku, where are you?!"
The direwolf perked up, then started to growl at the sound of the unfamiliar voice.
"It's ok, it's just my mother," the child, revealed to be izuku, said in a gentle voice. "I better go to her. I will visit as often as i can, beautiful. Is that ok?" izuku asked.
The direwolf whined, then licked his face, as if telling him you BETTER come back for a visit. Izuku chuckled at that. "I promise to come as often as i can. That's a promise,"
With that, izuku got up and left.

Izuku chuckled at the memory. "I can still remember how my mom reacted when she saw me sneaking out to hang out with you. When she followed me, she got lost in the forest, just like i was, when we first met. She wouldn't have been able to find me, if i wasn't playing my ocarina.

(inko POV)
Oh, dear, where is my baby? This isn't the first time he's snuck out to meet this mysterious friend. I wonder why he wouldn't let me meet them?
(3rd POV)
As you can probably tell, inko was lost. She was about to burst into tears, when she heard it. Music being played. She followed the music to the source. When she did, she saw her son, to which she was relieved. However, she then became horrified. Her son was laying on the side of what was most likely the LARGEST direwolf she'd EVER seen. However, before she could panic, she saw that the direwolf was not attacking her son, but was instead listening to the music he was playing, a serene look on its face, as it were peaceful.
It wouldn't last, sadly. Just after izuku finished his song, there was a rustling of leaves being interrupted, a twig snapped, then a voice called out.
"Well now, that must be the LARGEST direwolf i've EVER seen. It'll fetch a REALLY nice price, should we manage to get it. The blasted kids in the way, though" the voice said in a greedy voice. "Hey kid, why don't you scram?"
Izuku defended the direwolf as well as he could with his small body. "I won't let you hurt my friend," he said rather defiantly.
"Fine then, guess i'll just have to MOVE you out of the way, then," the voice said.
With that, a person came out from the woods in front of izuku. The person looked like your typical poacher.
The direwolf recognized his scent, as it was on the trap that had her imprisoned when she met her friend. So, she growled rather menacingly at the poacher.
"Ah~, shut up, yah mangy beast. You shouldn't be behaving like that towards your new owner," the poacher said with a smile, as he began to use his quirk.
However, izuku KNEW something bad was going to happen to his friend. Therefore, he reacted on instinct. He ran towards the poacher, slammed his incredibly hard head into the poacher's crotch, grabbed the poacher's knife and then stabbed the poacher in his lung.
The poacher fell back, coughing up blood in the process.
The direwolf approached her friend and licked his face in gratitude. However, the direwolf heard something. "If i can't have that mangy beast, no one can."
The poacher then used his quirk on the direwolf.
Then, the direwolf felt pain ripping through her front. The direwolf collapsed in pain, she grunted, blood pooling below her.
Izuku gasped in shock. "Lykos," he cried out. Izuku knelt down beside lykos' head, holding in a gentle hold. "Please lykos, don't leave me, PLEASE!"
Lykos whined, licked his face, then, she was gone.
"Lykos?" izuku asked, gently shaking her. "Lykos, please wake up, this isn't funny." izuku put his hand in front of her muzzle. Nothing.
Izuku held his friend's body, shoulders shaking in grief. Then, he heard it, a weak chuckle. That was when he realized: that damn poacher was STILL ALIVE! And so, his heart and mind full of rage and grief, grabbed the knife he dropped when he last hugged his friend and approached the chuckling poacher.
The poacher saw izuku approach him, and the chuckling increased ever so slightly. "What's the matter, kid? You're acting like a killed your friend *chuckle*"
"You DID kill my friend," izuku said in a voice that gave away what he was feeling: rage and despair. The poacher stopped chuckling at that. Izuku then raised the knife in his hand and said "this is for my friend that you just murdered in cold blood, you monster!" izuku then stabbed the poacher in his heart, killing him instantly.
Izuku released the knife, stumbled back to the body of his friend, hugged it and cried his heart out. After he finished crying, he said "lykos, i'll play you the song that you loved, my dear friend."

When he finished playing 'sadness and sorrow', izuku was crying anew.

"I lost my first ever friend that EVER accepted me. Imagine my surprise when i turned and saw my mom." izuku chuckled at that. Izuku had fainted in surprise and exhaustion, leaving his mom to carry him home. "I received QUITE the scolding from my mom, for leaving home often, to meet a direwolf," izuku turned sad at that. "She didn't understand that you were my first REAL friend, lykos."
Izuku turned towards the second grave, and placed a red spider lily and shion. "Yuki, my beautiful white fox. I still cannot figure out how a snow fox managed to get into musutafu, as it's nowhere NEAR cold regions," izuku smiled with fondness.
Memory start
Izuku had just turned eight years old. Katsuki had decided to give an EXTRA SPECIAL gift: he shoved izuku into a random alley, and started to be brutal with his quirk onto izuku. After he finished, katsuki got up and said, "i hope you liked my gift for you, you useless waste of space."
Izuku couldn't even speak, because of the amount of pain he was in.
After katsuki left, a little white fox showed up, wondering where it was. However, when it saw a human that was INCREDIBLY hurt, it threw caution to the wind. She approached the human, and used something that caused her to be abandoned by her family. You see, this little fox had a pretty powerful healing quirk. Izuku glowed green, and soon enough, his injuries were gone. Here's how the fox's quirk works, it doesn't use the stamina of either the fox or the one the fox uses it on. It works on a variety of things, but the BIGGEST thing is that the fox MUST desire to help for it to be TRULY effective.
When izuku woke up, he saw a white fox just sitting in front of him. "Are you the one that healed me?" izuku asked the fox. The fox simply went *yip* and nodded. "Thank you, little one," izuku said to the fox.
The fox simply jumped izuku's lap, and stared at izuku. It was almost as if it were telling him "please pet me".
Izuku chuckled at that, and pet its head, gently stroking its fur. After a few minutes of petting the fox, izuku stopped and put the fox on the ground. The fox whined at that.
"I'm sorry, but i have to go home," izuku told the fox. With that, izuku left, unaware that he was being followed.
About five minutes later
After izuku called out that he was home, his mother appeared. "Welcome back home, izuku," inko said. However, after she finished greeting her son, she noticed someone else. "Izuku, honey, who's that?" she asked, pointing at the area behind izuku's feet.
"Huh?" izuku asked. Then he saw she was pointing behind him. He turned around, saw nothing, then looked down, and gasped with shock. The little snow fox had followed him home. "What are you doing?" izuku asked the fox as he knelt down in front of it.
The fox leapt at him, and izuku caught it on instinct. After the fox was caught by izuku, it did the ONE thing that inko did NOT expect.
It started to lick izuku's face.
"Aaawww" inko said. She then giggled at the shocked expression on her son's face.
A few days later
Izuku was actually pretty furious. Katsuki had ATTACKED yuki. So, in order to calm himself, and to cheer yuki up, he played sadness and sorrow on his ocarina.
After the song finished, izuku was calm and yuki was happy healed from using her quirk on herself.
Nearby, hidden, katsuki was surprised when he saw that yuki was healed, after what katsuki did to her.
HOW THE FUCK IS THAT USELESS ANIMAL STILL MOVING?! DOES IT HAVE A FUCKING HEALING QUIRK?!
A few hours later
Izuku was carrying yuki on his shoulder as they were walking down a quiet street. Izuku's heart began to heal a bit from lykos' murder, leaving a scar on his heart.
However, life decided to kick izuku in the nuts.
"DEKU~!" katsuki's voice called out.
Suddenly, there was a strong explosion. It was strong enough to knock yuki off izuku's shoulder, injuring her in the process.
"YUKI!" izuku cried out, before an explosion hit the side of his face, causing izuku to hit the ground
"YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE HAPPY, UNLESS I ALLOW IT, YOU USELESS FUCK!" katsuki declared.
However, before katsuki could attack izuku again, yuki decided to bite the area between katsuki's neck and his right shoulder.
"AGH, YOU FUCKING ANIMAL, DIE!" with that, katsuki set off an explosion in yuki's face.
Yuki fell without a sound, and she didn't get back up.
"Yuki?" izuku whimpered.
"HAH, THAT USELESS ANIMAL GOT WHAT IT DESER-" was as far as katsuki got, before a hand GRABBED the back of his head and his nose was suddenly SLAMMED into the asphalt, knocking him unconscious and causing A LOT of bleeding.
And the one that did it was none other than izuku.
"YUKI!" izuku cried out. "Please yuki, don't leave me!" izuku cried out.
Yuki was barely breathing. She glowed green, and healed izuku of the burns katsuki gave him.
"Yuki?" izuku asked. He then felt the side of his face, and felt no pain. "Yuki, why? Why would you waste your strength on me? You need to heal yourself!" izuku cried out, while bringing yuki to his face.
Yuki just licked his nose and did what she could to smile.
Izuku gave a teary smile, and gave her a gentle hug. "I love you too, yuki," he said.
After he said that, he didn't feel yuki breathing.
Having a bad feeling in his heart, izuku put his hand in front of her nose.
Nothing. She wasn't breathing.
"Yuki, please, DON'T LEAVE ME!" Izuku cried out. The bit of his heart that had just BARELY managed to heal, ripped open, causing even MORE pain.
Memory end
"That was the second time that a friend was taken from me. And that time, it was that arrogant piece of SHIT named katsuki bakagou!" izuku SNARLED, not unlike lykos.
Izuku went to the third and final grave, and placed a red spider lily and shion. "Coco, my adorable little bun bun, i miss you, as well." chuckle "oddly enough, you were addicted to coffee, no matter how bad it was for you," izuku said with a bit of mirth. "Oddly enough, my quirk manifested, thanks to you."
Memory start
Inko was a bit worried. Her son had been gone for over an hour. Suddenly, the door opened and she heard "i'm home" from her son. Inko IMMEDIATELY went to confront her son on WHY he was so late, when she saw that he was heartbroken. What happened to my little boy? Inko wondered.
Izuku, however, just walked past inko, went into his room, locked the door, and played his ocarina.
Inko could hear the vibe of the song, and it wasn't the calming one, or the one that he plays when he's bored. She heard this one only once, when the direwolf was killed. What happened? Inko thought worryingly.
Deciding to get to the bottom of it, inko knocked on izuku's door.
The music stopped. "What?" izuku asked.
"Izuku, what happened?" inko asked.
"Yuki was murdered. LEAVE ME ALONE" izuku snarled in sadness. He went back to playing sadness and sorrow.
Inko gasped, her hands covering her mouth.
About a week later
Izuku had barely stopped playing his song. The song only stopped when he got something small to eat, using the bathroom, catching his breath (to which he would cry his heart out) and sleeping (uneasily, as he constantly had nightmares about lykos and yuki being killed in front of him).
He didn't even go to school.
I need to help him, but how? Inko thought to herself. She was surfing the internet for something, when something stood out. It was an ad to give a newborn pet a new home, since the family was moving, and they couldn't take the pet with them, as it most likely wouldn't survive.
She messaged the owners about the pet.
Hello, mrs. midoriya. You are the first person to respond to our ad, and it's been up for a few days since it was put up. Thank you for taking time out of your day to inquire about the newborn pet. Here's a query for you: why did you decide to inquire about the newborn?
Inko responded
My son has been depressed for over a week, and i'm getting really worried about his health. I'm hoping that a new pet would bring him out of his depression and make him the happy child he was before
The owners respond
Alright, bring your son with you. Chances are that the newborn will be crying. If the newborn likes him you can have her for free. We don't need the money, and we REALLY need to move.

Inko LITERALLY had to DRAG izuku out of his room to come with her.
"Mom, where are we going?" izuku asked in a depressed voice.
"It's a surprise, izuku"
Izuku sighed, he'd rather be back in his room, playing his ocarina (inko took it for the ride. The reason that she gave was that he'd played it enough for a while).
They arrived at the address, then inko pulled over.
"Why are we here?" izuku asked.
"The surprise is here, izuku," inko said.
Inko knocked on the door, which opened not ten seconds later with a sound of crying. "About time you arrived, mrs. midoriya. I was beginning to think that you weren't coming," the man that opened the door said.
"Sorry about that. I had to LITERALLY DRAG my son out of his room to get him here," inko said.
"Understandable. Please, come in," the man said.
Inko and izuku did so, albeit reluctantly in izuku's case.
"Wait here while i go get her," the man said.
The man RAN away. Izuku was getting a bit concerned.
"Mom-" was as far as izuku got, before the man came back, the sound of crying coming with him.
"Here you go, young man," the man said, as he gave izuku the crying object. Izuku hesitatingly held his hands out, accepting the object. The crying immediately stopped, followed by blessed silence.
Izuku looked at the thing in his hands, and saw that it was a green and red furred baby bunny.
"Oh, good, she likes you, young man." the man said.
"Wha-" izuku began, but then his mother said something that he was NOT expecting.
"Surprise, izuku. I was getting worried about you, so i wanted to get you a new friend, if only to help you cheer up a bit," inko said.
Izuku looked at the baby bunny in his arms (he hadn't paid attention that he was cuddling it on instinct). He began to cry. Not out of sadness, but of happiness and worry. "Mom, thank you."
Timeskip, a few months
It had been a few months since izuku was given the oddly colored bunny. However, the speed at which she accepted him had SHOCKED him. Nevertheless, the bunny was happy, and that's all that izuku cared for. That, and making sure that she was healthy.
However, imagine the surprise of both izuku AND inko that when izuku was coming back from a bathroom break (hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go) that they found the bunny (izuku had named her coco) drinking out of inko's coffee cup. When izuku managed to get her out of the coffee cup, 3/4 of the coffee was gone. A few seconds after izuku got a hold of her, coco began to twitch pretty badly. One particularly bad twitch caused izuku to drop her out of surprise. However, coco didn't get hurt. Instead, not even a second after she landed on the ground, she started to run ALL OVER the apartment, causing a LOT of damage in the process.
Timeskip, about a week until aldera high ends
Izuku had managed to take care of coco for eight years. However, sadly, life had decided to attack izuku, yet again.
Katsuki had noticed that izuku was HAPPY lately. He SCOWLED, planning on putting that useless fuck in his place again.
A few hours later, park
Izuku had taken coco to her favorite park. Coco was enjoying running around in the open space that the park provided. However, while she was enjoying herself, she heard a loud explosion, followed closely by "DEKU! I WILL TEACH YOU ABOUT BEING HAPPY WITHOUT MY APPROVAL, YOU USELESS WASTE OF SPACE!"
Izuku groaned in pain. Just as katsuki was about to use his quirk on izuku again, coco came out of nowhere and BIT katsuki next to the mark left by yuki.
"AGH, YOU USELESS ANIMAL!" katsuki yelled, before he grabbed her and threw her into a nearby tree. Coco squealed in pain. Katsuki SMIRKED at that, and was about to use his quirk on her, when izuku suddenly got between katsuki and coco, taking the explosion to his back.
Katsuki smirked even MORE at that. Suddenly, izuku SLAMMED a fist into katsuki's nose. Katsuki stumbled for a few feet before falling onto his back in a daze.
"COCO," izuku cried out. "PLEASE, YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME, TOO! PLEASE!" izuku cried out, while picking coco up as gently as he could.
Coco limply held her right paw out. Knowing what she wanted, izuku brought her to his face, where coco pawed his face. She licked his nose, did a small smile, then closed her eyes.
"COCO!" Izuku sobbed. "Not again! Please, no" izuku begged. He put his hand in front of her nose, begging kami that it wasn't going to be what he hoped it wouldn't be.
His hopes were dashed.
Izuku cried his very SOUL out.
A few minutes later
After izuku finished crying, he noticed two things. First, his back didn't hurt anymore. Second, katsuki was coming back to his senses.
Izuku felt his deep sadness turn to INCREDIBLY POWERFUL RAGE! THAT ASSHOLE WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO BE HAPPY! HE PERSONALLY KILLED TWO OF MY FRIENDS! I WILL MAKE SURE THAT HE UNDERSTANDS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PUSH AN INNOCENT PERSON TOO FAR! Izuku gave an EVIL smirk as that last sentence passed in his mind.
Izuku walked over to katsuki (he had JUST returned to his senses).
Katsuki noticed "WHAT DO Y-" was as far as he got, before izuku SMASHED a fist into katsuki's nose.
"AGH!" katsuki yelled out in pain. Katsuki was about to glare at izuku, when he noticed something was OFF about izuku.
Unknown to izuku, his forearms started to grow fur, ripping the sleeves of his shirt, and his hands grew claws. The same happened to his shins. His shins grew fur ripped his pants off at the knees and his toes grew claws. That's not all. Izuku gained some muscle on his torso, his eyes turned yellow and cat-like and he grew sharp teeth.
Katsuki was shocked, but he wasn't going down without a fight. "COME ON YOU BAS-" was as far as katsuki got, before izuku punched him in the nose. Katsuki, when izuku punched him that time, let loose a strong explosion.
Katsuki SMIRKED at the amount of damage that he'd SURELY caused, only to be shocked STUPID when the burn mark from the explosion onto izuku's stomach healed before katsuki's eyes.
"BIG, FUCKING, MISTAKE, BAKUGO" izuku SNARLED at katsuki.
And so, for over 20 minutes izuku beat the ever loving HELL out of katsuki. After he was done, izuku's form went back to normal. Just then, izuku remembered something crucial.
"COCO!" he yelled. He ran to her, slid onto his knees, picked her up as gently as he could, held her to his chest, and wept.
Memory end
"Thanks to you, coco, my quirk FINALLY manifested," izuku said. "After a bit of experimenting, i found out that my quirk allows me to turn into a weretiger," izuku said. "I miss you all," izuku sniffled. So, izuku pulled out his ocarina, and played sadness and sorrow. He played throughout the night.
