A black haired boy walks through the hospital. The receptionists and nurses recognising the boy instantly. He was a frequent visitor, and they let him through at a glance. In one hand, a bag of caneles. He often took them with him whenever he visited the girl.
"Oi, Kao-"
"Canele delivery man!"
The young blonde gasped in excitement, looking over at the door with a goofy grin adoring her face.
"First Friend A, now Canele Delivery Man? Why can't you just say my name?~"
The boy complained as he smiled, taking a seat as he placed the bag in her lap. She hurriedly tore the seal off, popping a canele in her mouth.
"Cuz nicknames are cool!"
She spoke with a mouth full, her words mostly unintelligible. It was amazing that Kousei understood what she was saying.
"I guess, but you've said my name only 5 times since we met. Say it more~"
Kousei pleaded, using puppy eyes on his girlfriend. It was rare for him to do this, and it made her heart melt.
"You're too adorable to resist, Kousei~"
"There we are~"
Kousei ruffled her hair, placing an earbud in one of her ears and the other in his. He began playing a rendition of Love's Sorrow. The two of them humming along together. Kousei fiddling with her hair as Kaori stuffed her face with caneles. Occasionally offering Kousei one.
"We still need to perform this together y'know?"
Kousei reminded.
"Maybe in high school?"
"Sure~"
Kousei softly kissed her forehead, making the blonde smile. It was a cute scene, a couple listening to music together during a hospital visit. Just adorable.
