Lectron looked at the larvitar that was in Lincoln's bed
"how did it get here?" Lectron asked
"I don't know." Lincoln said "I felt something cuddling me and thought it was sandaconda or cacnea."
"well then expect the unexpected I guess." Lectron said before taking a knee to talk to the larvitar "hey little buddy-"
then larvitar bit him
"Ow!" Lectron said while trying to shake larvitar off before eventually it let go "ok that's a bit rude."
"why did it by you and cuddle with me?" Lincoln asked
"I'm not too sure buddy." Lectron said before facing the larvitar "but anyway if you're going to stay I'm going to need you to not bite me again."
the larvitar ignored him
"ok I'll be right back." Lectron said before leaving the room for a moment
when he came back he had a grey pokeball with blue circles on it in his hand
"this is a heavy ball it should catch larvitar easy." Lectron explained before handing Lincoln the ball "the heavier the Pokemon is the more likely it is to be caught."
"if larvitar is heavy then why were you able to lift them?" Lincoln asked
"simple I work out." Lectron said as Lincoln caught larvitar "now let's go get you some clothes at the market."
lectron actually help like dishes
Soon they headed to the market to pick up some clothes
"hey Lincoln how do you like this?" Lectron said before showing Lincoln a simple t-shirt with some stripes on it
"I think it looks nice." Lincoln said
"lectron?" A voice asked
they turned and saw a woman notyounger then lectron with hair that was a darker shade of blue than lectron's
"oh heeey sis...so how have you been?" Lectron said awkwardly confusing Lincoln
"don't you "hey sis" me lectron how do you have a kid?" Lectron's sister asked "is he young yours?
"uh who is she?" Lincoln asked
lectron sighed "this is my younger sister tor." Lectron said "she is a Nuisance and golden child. tor this is Lincoln he is in my care until he is 18 or we find his parents."
"you know mom is not gonna like that." Tor said
"me not being married or the fact he's not biologically mine?" Lectron asked through his teeth "because either way I don't care about what she thinks."
"6 of one half a dozen of the other." Tor said
"so what brings you here? I thought you and mother were too good for this "backwater area"." Lectron said with heavy quotations "and that was it was too "poor" to be near."
"well it may be backwater but the some of the art is some the best." Tor said "it's a luxury."
"of course... luxury it's always luxury with you and mother." Lectron said "no wonder dad left everything to me and mags when he passed."
"be quiet." Tor said "he was a fool."
"no he was smart enough to support my dream the only foolish thing he did was not notice mother stealing money from him." Lectron said "that's why mother is still wealthy."
"quiet." Tor said
"now if you'll excuse me I have to be a meaningful member of this community." Lectron said "later."
and with that lectron and Lincoln left after paying for the clothes
"so that was your sister?" Lincoln asked when they got back to the house
"yeah one of them." Lectron said "mags is the other one and she's my older sister."
"why do you not like your mom?" Lincoln asked
"well besides from her stealing from my dad she also kept on forcing me to go on dates with people who's parents were wealthy." Lectron explained "she wanted an heir but mags is a lesbian and I'm Aroace."
"what are those?" Lincoln asked
"man wherever you come from must not be interesting." Lectron said "a lesbian is where a girl only likes and wants to date girls and Aroace is simply I don't feel romance."
Lectron explained it as best he could without getting into the rookiedee's and the beedrills
"ok what about your other sister?" Lincoln asked
"she's insufferable so her actually getting a partner is almost impossible." Lectron said "
"what about your dad?" Lincoln asked
"my dad..." lectron began "he was a good man loved all 3 of us equally and didn't play favourites unlike my mother he was many things an inventor a humble man and a champion."
"a champion?" Lincoln asked
"of the kalos region." Lectron said "he retired when my mother got pregnant with mags and then we moved here."
"wow." Lincoln said
"yeah he raised us with his "If you want something you must work for it." Once we were old enough it's how i know how to take care of kids I was a babysitter for my job
"am I going to have to do that?" Lincoln asked
"once you're older and can actually have a job." Lectron said "it worked on me and mags... tor not so much."
"what happened to your dad?" Lincoln asked
"he died." Lectron said "he got really sick and there was nothing we could do."
"that's sad." Lincoln said trying to hold back tears
"but in this world death isn't the end. It's more of a gateway." Lectron said "sometimes they're reborn as ghost type pokemon and other times there are places in the world where they could have one final conversation with loved ones."
"did you?" Lincoln asked
"yup." Lectron said "I went to poni island in the alola region, found the mist needed to talk to him and I asked him "why did you leave mother and tor with nothing?"
"what did he say?" Lincoln asked
"he said "I overheard your mother and your sister talking about what they would get one day and that's when I knew your mother only wanted my money and she had dragged your sister into it." I then asked "did you regret it?" And he said "my only regret was not being able to raise tor the same way I raised you and mags." Lectron said "he then told me how proud he was of me before the mist faded away."
"was that the last time you saw him?" Lincoln asked
"yup." Lectron said "apparently he left behind something for someone but no one knows who or what however he did give me this before he died."
he pulled out watch with a screen
"it's password protected and he never told anyone the password." Lectron explained
"wow!" Lincoln said
"you're a good listener kid." Lectron said before handing Lincoln the watch "here it's all yours."
"are you sure??" Lincoln asked a bit nervous about being given something this important
"buddy I'm sure he would've loved to meet you." Lectron said "and he would've wanted you to have that."
"you really think so?" Lincoln asked
"buddy I know so." Lectron said
lectron got ready to cook supper
"with my luck tor is going to tell mother about you so we should expect her to appear at some point soon." Lectron said "kinda wish we ran into mags instead."
"what are we doing tomorrow?" Lincoln asked
"well we are going to be paying a visit to the wild area tomorrow and then the day after I'm back to doing gym battles." Lectron said
"so what you type of Pokémon do you use?" Lincoln asked
"I use electric type Pokemon." Lectron said "it's going to be a "shocking" sight."
Lincoln laughed at the pun
"you're funny like my big sister luan!" Lincoln said
lectron stopped what he was doing for a moment
"you have a sister?" Lectron asked
"5 of them with another baby brother or sister coming soon." Lincoln said
"well guess it isn't a coin flip." Lectron said to himself
soon after dinner was cooked and served
"is there anything else you could tell me about your family?" Lincoln asked in between bites
"well there isn't much to talk about." Lectron said "well besides from the fact that if tor was a boy my dad wanted give her the name "vox" but other than that that's about it."
soon they were done dinner and Lincoln had finished cleaning himself and putting on his new pj's when he noticed the watch
he decided to turn it on
on the screen there was enter password message with room for 3 letters or numbers
Lincoln tried to think of things that the password could be
until he remembered what lectron had said
so he put in the letters

suddenly the lock was open and then the screen turned blue
before two red eyes opened on the screen with a mouth with sharp teeth
"ah how long was I out?" The face on the screen said before noticing Lincoln "well about time someone figured out that password."
"umm who are you?" Lincoln asked
"well I'm vox." Vox said "an artificial intelligence created by cordz rogen."
"so he made you?" Lincoln asked
"yup but I have a question." Vox said
"how did you get this?" Vox asked with his voice glitching and his a having lines of black in it
"well mr. Lectron gave it to me." Lincoln said
"and who are you to him?" Vox asked
"he's taking care of me." Lincoln said
"huh well alright then." Vox said calming down a little "originally I was meant to be an assistant to lectron but since he gave it to you i guess I'm your assistant."
"you don't have to be that we can be friends instead!" Lincoln said
"friends?" Vox questioned
"yeah!" Lincoln said
"well alright then...uh" vox said upon realizing he wasn't told Lincoln's name
"Lincoln." Lincoln said
"well then Lincoln I'm pleased to make your acquaintance." Vox said
"anyway I have to go to bed soon so I'll see you tomorrow?" Lincoln said heading into his room
"sure." Vox said "I'll be only able to talk to you if you talk to me first ok?"
"ok!" Lincoln said
Lincoln put the watch on his nightstand while vox went into sleep mode
Lincoln went to his bed and felt more comfortable this time around and slept peacefully
the next day
lincoln woke with no extra pokemon with him in his bed this time and got ready for the day
when Lincoln went to the kitchen he saw lectron making pancakes
"hey buddy." Lectron said
"hey there." Lincoln said as he sat down "so are we going to the wild area today?"
"yup I was thinking of taking the long way instead of taking a corviknight taxi." Lectron said handing Lincoln his plate of pancakes "now eat up it's going to be a long day."
after eating the two got their things and headed on their way
"so what's the wild area like?" Lincoln asked
"well there's pokemon everywhere even more then there is here." Lectron said "and it's huge so plenty of space for the Pokemon there."
"Yamask!" A voice said
they looked and saw a galarian yamask ahead wanting to have a battle
"ok little buddy show me what you can do." Lectron while crossing his arms as Lincoln grabbed a pokeball
"right!" Lincoln said
wow lectron got some lore
speaking of lectron I'm so proud of that name I'm honestly surprised that's not a gym leader name
next time we're going to have Lincoln's first true battle against a galarian yamask
