This takes place a bit before the TItan's Curse, but this will be set in a variation of the PJO UNiverse where instead of Marvel movies being just movies they are an actual part of this universe. Don't expect anything Marvel to show up right away, mostly because most of the PJO stuff happens before the first Iron Man movie.
{LINE BREAK}
SHIELD Base, Mojave Desert Project Pegasus
September 1st, 2007
Two scientists were about to exit the room containing the Tesseract when it let off a pulse causing them to stop and look at it as if waiting to see if it'll do anything else. When it didn't they looked at each other and shrugged before walking out the door, too tired to care about anything other than getting some sleep.
What the scientists didn't know was that the pulse from the Tesseract affected a spider in the research wing of the base that was already crawling around the place. This spider was a part of a research project currently being headed by Doctors Richard and Mary Parker. The goal of this project was to see if they could harness power from different dimensions and pull things from them.
This spider was one of such things that got pulled from its place of origin and was currently being studied by the Parkers. When it was hit with the energy generated by the Tesseract it started to glow a faint blue color before it slowly faded away from the case it was enclosed in.

Percy Jackson had barely said good night to his Mom before he collapsed onto his bed after training in one of the abandoned warehouses along the docks. Ever since the night that Thalia came back after being a tree, Percy had been throwing himself into his training. Ever since Grovers death during the quest to retrieve the Golden Fleece, Percy had been training to the limit so that he could stop it from happening to anyone else he cared about. Percy could care less about a prophecy that pertained to one of the Big 3's kids. As far as he cared Thalia was the one that it talked about. She was older than him by a long shot, so Percy just focused on getting better with his powers and his swordsmanship.
Percy was out cold when a faint blue glow filled his room and deposited the spider onto his back. Sensing that it was in a new place free from its cage, the spider moved over to Percy and sunk its fangs into the back of his neck right on the spinal cord and injected its venom into his body causing a massive change to sweep through him. Before the spider could move away to bite another person to give its power too, Percy's hand came up and smacked the spider, killing it on impact.
Realm of the Fate's
In a realm beyond reality itself, the sisters of Fate sat there tending to the strings of destiny that they had carefully crafted throughout the millennia, so when a wave of power passed through their realm and caused the threads to start unraveling before them, they panicked.
"What's happening!" screamed Lachesis as they forced their power onto the threads in the hopes that they could stop them from unraveling. "Someone or something has messed with our plan. Something old." Atropos told her as she willed her needles to start stitching the threads back together while she held them together.
"Ζητάμε τη δύναμη του Δημιουργού. Βοηθήστε μας να σταματήσουμε αυτή την προσβολή για τη θέλησή σας.
Επικαλούμαστε τη δύναμη του Ανάνκε. Βοηθήστε τα πιστά παιδιά σας να διορθώσουν αυτήν την καταστροφή"
They chanted together as a last resort and in hopes that whatever it was would be to afraid to continue what it was doing with the possibility of the Creator and their mother making an appearance.
All of a sudden there was a gust of cold wind that seemed to cut straight through the sisters and the unraveling of the threads of Fate stopped, but not before the destiny of millions of mortals and immortals was changed forever.

Waking up, I squinted at the sun that poured through the curtains and thought 'Go away, Apollo.' as I sat up out of bed and grimaced when I felt the dried sweat caking my skin. Getting out of bed, I stopped when I noticed that everything seemed smaller. Looking down, I saw that my sweats had stretched up about halfway to my calves and the only thought that I had was 'Cool. I hit a growth spurt!'
Making my way to the bathroom to take a shower, I undressed and paused again for the second time this morning when I noticed that I was absolutely shredded. I mean, I was pretty fit before due to all of my training the past few weeks since I came back from camp and all of the running I did on the last few quests I had been on, but this was taking it to a whole new level. Taking a quick shower, I willed myself dry and walked to my room with the towel tied around my waist.
Putting on a pair of shorts and a T-shirt, I remembered from last night the stinging sensation on my neck. Bolting to my bed, I sifted through my sheets and saw a red and black spider laying on my bed. Picking it up gently and examining it, I was about to dismiss it when the spider pulsed a faint ethereal blue color before it turned to dust. "Well, there goes my lead." I groaned to myself and wiped away the spider dust.
Grabbing Riptide, I made my way to the door and called over my shoulder to Mom "MOM, I'm heading out. Be back later." and heard a yell back from her. Exiting the building, I made my way to my usual warehouse where I trained and decided to test out to see what else I could do and if anything else has changed.
As I walked to the warehouse, I saw a sign from Stark Industries promoting the latest weapon, but the strange thing was that the letters weren't moving around like they usually did. Running into a convenience store and picking up a newspaper, I flipped through it and found that I could actually read the paper. "I-I can actually read it. The words aren't moving around" I choked out before setting the paper down and took off running to the warehouse.
As I ran to the warehouse, I noticed that I was faster than I normally was and I saw the warehouse when I came around the corner. After making it into the warehouse, I stopped and noticed that I wasn't even tired, hell I wasn't even panting hard like I normally was after running like that. Walking over to one of the steel beams on the ground, I squatted down and squeezed my finger under it and after taking a deep breath, lifted it like it was nothing which took me by surprise since I was expecting it to be heavy.
After giving a few experimental squats with it, I set it down and moved over to an abandoned car and decided that I'll just give it a light punch. Squaring up to it, I got into a basic stance and gave a light jab to the side of the car with barely any force in it and watched as the car went flying into the side of the warehouse and out the other side into the water. "Shit!" I muttered and ran over to the hole and, with a slight tug in my gut, willed the water to push the car up and back into the warehouse.
"Okay, so I'm stronger as well. A lot stronger." I said after the car was back in the building and looked at the contents of the warehouse. "Alright, so I know I can crush metal with my bare hands, I'm stronger than I usually am." I told myself as I moved to the center of the warehouse where the skylight was broken, "So, let's see if that translates to every part of my body." I said as I crouched down and, after saying a quick prayer to my father, I put as much force as I could into jumping up.
"OH SHIT!" I yelled out as I flew up into the air and out of the skylight and just about crested the top some of the apartment buildings when I felt gravity reassert itself over me and drag me back down to earth. Free falling back into the warehouse, I threw out one of my hands and felt it land on a support beam and stay there causing me to come to a jerking halt. "Oh, what the Hades." I said as I looked at where my hand was and saw that it was stuck to the side of the beam without any of my fingers gripping around it, "Okay, so I can jump really, really high and evidently I can also stick to things like a…" I trailed off as it suddenly made sense.
"The spider did something to me. That is the only thing that makes sense at the moment." I told myself as I hung from the ceiling of the warehouse, "Now the only question is how the Hades do I get down from here?" I wondered as I looked down at the floor of the warehouse in longing.
A few hours later
After hanging from the ceiling for about 30 more minutes, I finally figured out how to get down from there. I just had to think about my fingers relaxing one by one until eventually they were all released from the beam and I fell the rest of the way down. On my way home, I felt a sort of buzzing sensation in the base of my skull that seemed to be coming from behind me. Turning around, I saw a hellhound and a cyclops lumbering down the road after me.
Slipping my hand into my pocket, I gripped Riptide tightly and watched as the hellhound slipped into the shadows, disappearing from sight as the cyclops finally spotted me and let out a roar before charging me. Breaking off into a run, I led the cyclops back around to the docks and away from mortals, so that they didn't get hurt and so I could use the water to heal incase I get injured.
After making it to the docks, I was about to check to see if the cyclops was still behind me when I felt that buzzing sensation flare to life, but this time it was coming from my shadow. Jumping up and twisting into a barrel roll, I watched as the hellhound reappeared, jumping from my shadow towards where I was just standing.
Pulling out Riptide and uncapping it in one smooth motion, I slashed at the neck of the hellhound and watched as it turned to dust before landing back onto the ground in a crouch. All of that happened, so fast that when I landed I stood there stunned. I had never moved that fast before, not even when I got a boost from water.
I was broken out of my reverie by the sound of a monstrous roar coming from the cyclops that was still chasing me and the buzz sprang back up. Looking up, I saw a giant pipe hurtling towards me at incredible speeds flipping end over end, but everything seemed to slow down for me and I saw the end of the pipe facing towards me. Making a break for it, I leaped into the open part of the pipe and used my sticky power to grip onto it and then took off running towards the other end.
Reaching the end, I jumped out as the pipe was facing the cyclops and swung Riptide at it. I watched as its lone eye rolled up to look at me in slow motion and I saw it slowly widen as if surprised to see me there before Riptide cut through it like butter. Time seemed to speed back up as I flew over the dissolving monster and tumbled across the ground. "Ow." I groaned out after I stopped rolling, "I will probably need to learn how to land properly if I'm gonna make a habit out of doing things like this."
Laying there on the ground for a second, I mentally commanded a small piece of water to float over to me before I just let it go and let it splash over my face. Feeling the familiar sensation of the water revitalizing me, I smiled and got up and made my way to the entrance of the docks and finally made it home after there were no more distractions.

Looking over some files for potential recruits for the Avengers initiative, I was looking at Banner's file and sighed as I read it over and saw that he disappeared somewhere in Mexico. I was about to look at another file when there was a short knock on my door "Enter!" I said firmly as I closed all of the files and slipped them into a secret compartment in my desk.
In came Coulson holding a file a few inches thick with multiple tabs sticking out of it. "What do you have for me, Coulson?" I asked as I accepted the file and opened it only to see a photo of a child. Reading the file, I raised my eyebrow at the litany of things that the kid has done in his life. Dropping his entire class into a shark tank, blowing up a school bus with a revolutionary cannon (why was it loaded in the first place?) and this is where his file gets really interesting.
He somehow managed to push a classmate into the fountain at the Museum of Modern Art, was accused of kidnapping his mother a few months later and then was seen traveling across the country with two other kids and fighting a man who was claimed to have kidnapped them on the beach in California. Looking at the name on file, I mused quietly to myself "Perseus Jackson, huh?"
Turning to Coulson, I told him "Keep an eye out on Jackson and see if you can find anything else on him." and stamped CLASSIFIED onto the file before giving it back to Coulson. Watching him leave, I thought 'If only he was older than he would have been perfect for the Initiative. Maybe when he's older.' Before grabbing the files from my desk and continuing to look through them.

Hey y'all. Back with another story this time featuring a Percy Jackson who was affected by a Tesseract enhanced spider. This story was partially inspired by The Greek Spider by Calamaticatclysm. I figured I would try my hand at it since it hasn't been updated since December of '22, but it was a good read if a little fast paced. I highly recommend you go give it a read even if it is only 4 chapters.
Anyways, next time on The Greek Spider, Percy discovers that the spider did more than give him enhanced reflexes, super strength, sticky fingers, a danger sense and a cure to
his dyslexia. Meanwhile SHIELD looks into the mysterious person known as Percy Jackson.
