THE WEDDING?!

"Lady Tiermina, do you agree to be a lawful wedded wife?" Lord Cliff smirked

"I do!" Tiermina smiled.

"Adventurer Yuna, do you accept her as your wife?" Cliff grinned.

"I do," Yuna squeaked.

'HOW DID THIS HAPPEN TO ME.!' Yuna thought desperately.

Flashback three months...

Unsurprisingly, it was Gentz fault. Well, him, Deborane and Lanz. Gentz had decided he wanted to buy Tiermina a gift, one beyond his normal budget, and formed a temporary party with THOSE TWO to carry out a quest. One, it turned out, was a LOT more dangerous than they realized.

Worse, Yuna and Funa had been off on their own thing, and only found out he took off once they got back. Yuna had raced off, trying to find them, and did... but too late.

Tiermina bore up under it well. She and Gentz hadn't been together THAT long, and she had her work to occupy her. Managing the egg sales for Yuna, along with helping run the Bear Shop restaurant kept her busy, as well as supported them now that he was gone.

Of course, THAT created a whole other problem.

"Why are all these single adventurers trying to court Tiermina?!" Yuna hissed to Helen, the main clerk she knew at the Adventurers' Guild.

Helen gave her a LOOK. "You don't know?" she asked.

Yuna sighed, "I'm not from around here, remember?"

Helen nodded, "Well, she's a attractive widow, and healthy thanks to you, and has a well paying job ALSO thanks to you."

Yuna blinked, "So it's MY fault?"

"Sort of," Helen sighed.

As they were talking, a out of town adventurer was talking to Tiermina, and being pushy. "Excuse me, I need to," she started, but he hemmed her in. "Sir, excuse me." She pushed, "Hey."

Almost instantly Yuna appeared, grabbing the guy's arm and yanking him back. "She SAID she has to go," Yuna said to him flatly.

"Oh dear," Helen murmured.

"Why you," the big man tried to yank his arm free, but was unable to, to his surprise. He swung with his other arm, angrilly.

Yuna dodged casually, then chucked him across the guild hall.

"You can't do that to our friend!" three more guys charged in.

Yuna threw all four men outside, then used her technique of flinging them into the sky with air magic, only to catch them before they landed and do it again. A few rounds of THAT and they were subdued.

"Don't mess with the Bloody Bear," several local adventurers muttered.

Yuna stalked back inside and glared. "To anyone else interested in harassing Tiermina," Yuna growled, "she is MINE."

"WHOAAAA!"

Yuna paused, 'That... wasn't exactly what I meant.'

"Well, that was quite the proposal," Tiermina teased later that day.

"I'm SO sorry," Yuna apologized again.

They were at the Bear House, where Tiermina, Shuri and Fina had moved in to after Gentz death. Yuna had invited them, and Tiermina knew the young woman's heart was in the right place.

"So will Yuna become a second Mom?" Shuri asked mildly.

"Shuri!" Fina scolded, smiling.

A knock on the door interrupted, and Yuna hurried to answer. There weren't many people who could go through the barrier around her house.

"You PROPOSED?!" Noa squealed, followed in by Cliff.

"Congratulations, though it's usually standard to wait a few months after one was bereaved," Cliff offered dryly.

"Cliff!" Yuna groaned as she sat them all down at the table with her and Tiermina. Fina and Shuri were sitting on the couch nearby.

"Please don't tease," Tiermina scolded him mildly.

"Word is all over town," Noa added cheerfully.

"I suspect you did it to make Tiermina's overzealous suitors go away," Cliff noted.

"Hmm," Yuna nodded.

"Have you considered going through with a marriage?" Cliff offered.

"FATHER! I wanted to marry Yuna!" Noa protested.

"Wait, WHAT?" both Yuna and Tiermina reacted.

Cliff shrugged, "It would get the suitors to stop chasing Tiermina, and would ensure her and the children's safety."

"Well, true," Yuna conceded.

"I don't want to hold back Yuna from finding love," Tiermina pointed out.

Yuna waved that off, "I am NOT interested in any of that, thanks."

Tiermina actually looked like she was thinking about it, "Fina, Shuri, would that be okay?"

"Yes!" Shuri said excitedly.

Fina looked amused, "I am NOT calling Yuna Dad."

"Yeah, that would be just..." Yuna visibly shuddered.

Noa pouted, while Cliff mused, 'AND this will tie Yuna even more firmly to this town and the kingdom.' Aloud he said, "We'll wait the customary three months, of course. And I suppose one of you should give the other a ring."

Yuna checked her bottomless bag, "Well, there's this..."

"Oh my...," Tiermina breathed out at the platinum ring.

Flashforward three months...

"And I pronounce you married," Cliff declared, "you may kiss the brides!"

Yuna froze, not having considered THAT weirdly.

Tiermina looked at her with a warm amusement, then bent forward to mkiss Yuna lingeringly.

Yuna kissed her back, surprised at how nice it felt.

Tiermina pulled back as she murmured, "Take good care of me, husband."

Yuna blushed.

End...?

Notes: Yeah, I killed off Gentz. I had the idea of Yuna ACCIDENTALLY marrying Tiermina, and decided to run with it.
