Chapter 5: Battle of Shibuya
Kyoto [Uzumaki Clan House]....
Naruto was waiting for Maki and Mai to get ready to go to Shibuya, a curtain was cast over the area and a call was put out for every able-bodied jujutsu sorcerer to go there.
Naruto had a funny feeling about all this, so he made sure he was fully battle-ready and advised his lovers to do the same.
It didn't take long for Maki and Mai to come out. Maki had several cursed tools on her, while Mai had her gun at her side with several cartridges of bullets.
They all looked at each other grimly, knowing that it would be a shit show out there.
Fast Forward...
Shibuya...
Naruto looked around at the city and realized that the feeling he was getting was absolutely right. He could sense the signatures of several powerful cursed spirits, he could also feel the killing intent and curse energy from enemy jujutsu sorcerers.
The blonde decided that the best course of action would be to kill as much cursed spirits as possible before seeing if there is any other ally sorcerers nearby so they could brief them on the situation.
"Okay, here's what we're going to do." Naruto said. "We are going to take down as many Cursed Spirits as possible until we can get to someone who can explain what is happening here to us."
Maki and Mai nodded their heads as that was as good a plan as they were going to be able to come up with no information. So they all jumped into action.
An insect-like curse tried to attack Mai, but she was able to see it coming and she used her gun with her special curse bullet and shot it, The special curse bullet was something that Maya was working on with Naruto's help. It had the ability to penetrate any defenses that are not special grade in power.
Insect-like curse spirit looked surprised as its hide was penetrated but before it could do anything else several more volleys of bullets entered it exercising, The other function of the bullets were that they were made from reverse curse energy aka positive energy. So it had the ability to kill curses.
Maki with a sword that looked too big for a woman her size to wield was cutting through curses. The sword she was using was one made by Mai with Naruto's assistance as he provided the curse energy for her to create it. It had the special ability of harming the souls of those she cut with it. So it made her able to exorcise curse spirits with it.
Naruto himself was using his curse corpses (also known as shikigami) to attack the enemy. The blonde summoned knight and rook.
The two corpse corpses were demolishing several grade 1 curse spirits with relative ease.
Naruto's eyes then went to his two lovers. He had to admit he was impressed with them, they have become really powerful.
Mai with her use of her curse technique to create almost anything she could imagine, as long as she has enough curse energy for it.
Maki with her superhuman body and cursed tools, She actually improved the most considering that she doesn't have a curse technique or any curse energy to begin with.
The two were mowing in down any cursed spirit that got in their way. Naruto decided to use this time to spread out his senses to see if he could find any allies so that they could tell him what the hell was going on here.
Naruto then started to feel some familiar curse energies, It seemed like they just entered the curtain.
"Maki, Mai, let's go over in that direction," Naruto stated as he started running over to where he sensed the curse energy.
The sisters followed Naruto's lead as he made his way to where he hoped to find allies.
When Naruto reached his destination, he was happy to find Nanami, Panda, and Nobara. They were battling curse spirits.
Then suddenly Naruto heard a yell from somewhere up high. The voice he recognized was from Yuji, the vessel of Sukuna.
"Gojo has been sealed," Yuji's voice echoed throughout the city.
Everyone had their own reaction, but the one thing that they felt was shock that somebody of Gojo's powers was sealed away.
Except for one person. Naruto couldn't help but burst out laughing. As everybody looked at him.
"Hahahaha," the blonde laughter echoed throughout the cool night. "So Mr. Strongest, you were caught, weren't you? So I guess you're not the strongest one anymore,"
Naruto said mockingly that Gojo had been caught by something and was sealed away. The others looked on in shock as the blonde uttered a disregard of the situation but Maki and Mai just looked amused. They all knew Naruto didn't mean any harm by what he said; he was just making fun of Gojo for having been sealed.
"Hey Jackass, this is not something to laugh at, A lot of people could die here," Nobara screamed at Naruto, not liking his attitude.
Naruto continue laughing, ignoring the feisty young woman. Something that made her even more infuriated as she stomped over to the blonde.
As Nobara reached close to Naruto, it looked like she was about to slap him, but before her hand could make contact, Naruto ducked and his foot shot out to her foot, tripping her, making her fall flat on her face.
"That felt good. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time," Naruto stated. His face suddenly turned serious.
"Now, let's go get that idiot so I could unseal him," Naruto said.
Nobara at this time had gotten up from the ground and was glaring at the blonde, angry that he embarrassed her.
"How exactly are you going to unseal Sensei?" Nobara asked as she wanted to attack the blonde again but knew he was too strong for her to get an attack in.
"Simple, I'll just use my curse technique," Naruto stated, watching Nobara as if she were an idiot. "You do know my curse technique is to seal and unseal things."
Nobara blushed as she didn't know that fact. She thought the Blonde's Curse Technique was something similar to Megumi's.
Naruto turned to Nanami to see if the man had any plans. It seemed that he was fine following the blonde's lead but he wanted to eliminate all the threats first before going to rescue Gojo.
Naruto decided that they could split up into teams. Nanami could go eliminate all the threats with Panda and Nobara. While Naruto would see if he could track down Gojo with Mai and Maki.
"Why do you want to see Gojo so much?" Nobara Asked as she knew Naruto Didn't really Have any close Relationship with a man.
"Whoever sealed Gojo away must want him to be out of the way of whatever they planning, I have a bad feeling that it's nothing good," Naruto replied as everybody had a look of realization on their faces.
What most people forget is that Gojo's very existence maintains a sort of peace over the Jujutsu world because nobody wants to have the self-proclaimed strongest sorcerer after them.
So it stands to reason whoever sealed Gojo away could not have defeated him outright, but just wanted the strongest sorcerer to be out of the way of their plans. So the longer he is sealed, The greater the chance that something bad is going to happen.
As Naruto moved off with Maki and Mai, Nobara finally spoke to her team, looking at Nanami before running after the Uzumaki group.
"Wait up, asshole!" Nobara shouted as she ran after Naruto.
Uzumaki raised an eyebrow as he saw the young woman running up to him. He thought she was going to attack him again, but she stopped just in front of them before speaking.
"I'm coming with you to rescue Sensei," Nobara exclaimed, crossing her hands and giving a stubborn look.
Naruto turned to Maki, who shrugged her shoulder, then to Mai, who had an indifferent look on her face. It seemed neither cared one way or the other if the young woman came with them.
"You could come with us, but don't fall behind," Naruto stated, making Nobara scowl.
"Like, I'll fall behind. Asshole, let's just get this over with," the feisty young woman said.
Fast Forword...
The four made their way through the city trying to find where Gojo was taken but they found nothing as they continued to kill us and many curses that got in the way.
As they made their way through the city, they felt a massive curse energy. Soon, the city was being destroyed by fire and cuts that appeared out of nowhere.
Naruto instantly knew that Sukuna was on the loose and he was baffling the Volcano curse spirit, it was sad seeing how the Volcano curse was so outclassed by the king of curses that it wasn't funny.
Naruto watch the entire battle taken in all of the Sukuna attacks, how he expertly uses techniques to beat Jogo like if he owned him money.
Then the most surprising thing happened: Sukuna used a fire technique to exercise the curse spirit, which Naruto knew was impossible because no normal fire technique should be able to defeat a Volcano curse. Somehow, the king of curses had a technique that was unknown to everyone.
Before anyone could react, Sukuna himself appeared between them. Everyone froze as if an invisible force were holding them down. Naruto felt impressed by his presence; it was like Gojo's, but instead of being an arrogant pompous feeling, it felt more like a pure destruction was in front of them. A force of nature.
Sukuna ignored everybody but Naruto as the blonde had already summoned Queen along with pawn and rook.
"So you are that other special great sorcerer," The king of curses stated watching Naruto with interest.
"And you are the King of Curses," Naruto also stated back as he watched the possessed Yūji wait for him to attack.
Naruto didn't have to wait long as the king of curses launched an attack on him using his cursed technique, invisible slashes appear all around but naruto's rook created several Shields protecting everyone.
The blonde and a surprised Sukuna watched the damage that had been done to the Shields; they were damaged but blocked the slash attacks.
Sukuna smirked before turning around and gave Naruto a side-eye glance, "You aren't strong enough to entertain me yet."
With that said, Sukuna vanished in a burst of speed. Everyone let out a breath they didn't know they were holding.
"Sakuna is really strong," Naruto stated to himself, as he now had a rough idea how much he would have to grow to defeat the King of Curses.
"So if you two fought do you think that you would have won," Mai asked as for the first time she saw naruto look unsure of himself.
"As I am right now, if Sukuna were to attack me, I don't think I would win, but I would cause him a massive amount of damage before I go down." Naruto replied to the shock of Mai.
Everyone was quiet for a moment, before feeling a surge of curse energy in the direction that Sukuna had gone. Then they saw the King of curses fighting a Shikigami that looked like one of Magumi's.
Mahoraga is the shikigami's name if Naruto remembered correctly for his research on the Ten Shadow Technique, and it has the power to adapt to almost anything that doesn't kill it in one go.
Naruto knew that even more people were going to die, so he turned to his group before speaking, "You all should try to evacuate as many people as you can; this city is about to be destroyed."
The others looked at the blonde with wide eyes, but when they thought about it, the city was indeed going to be destroyed by the King of Curses and Mahoraga Battle. They are that powerful.
"We're going to see if we can get as many people out of here as possible," Nobara stated grimly, knowing that she was powerless to stop her possessed friend.
"What are you going to do," Mai asked Naruto looking directly into his eyes.
"I'm going to watch the battle and wait for my chance to attack," Naruto stated as he looked at the ongoing battle between Mahora and Sukuna.
"Why would you want to attack Sukuna?" Nobara asked. "You said so yourself that you can't beat him."
"Did I say that?" Naruto replied, as if he had forgotten what he said moments ago. Making Nobara growl at him like a rabid dog, "I don't have to beat him."
"What are you saying? You don't have to beat him?" Nobara asked. "Do you have a death wish?"
"I think you're forgetting what my cursed technique is," Naruto responded. It took Nobara a while to figure out what the blonde man meant.
"You are going to seal Sukuna," Nobara stated as she realized. Naruto didn't have to beat the King of Curses outright; he just had to use his Curse Technique to bury Sukuna inside Yuji's mind and soul.
Nobara was satisfied with the explanation so she and the other started to get as much of the people out of the city.
Maki looked at the blonde idiot. She knew he would try to fight Sukuna. Looking away from him long enough so they could save as many people as possible. Even if he said he was going to seal him, it wouldn't be as easy as the blonde made it out to be.
"Don't die Blondie," Maki said to her shared lover as she pulled Mai and Nobara along so that they can try and get as many people as possible out of the city.
Naruto knows that this is a futile act; the chances of saving anyone but a handful of people are slim to none, but what he wants is for his girls to escape the city so that he doesn't have to worry about them while fighting Sukuna.
Naruto watched Sakura's battle; the King of Curse was really strong. He had used his curse techniques effectively against a being that adapted to everything he did.
Mahoraga was slowly adapting to sukuna techniques but naruto didn't think that the king of curse would lose for a second.
Sakuna's attacks actually destroyed the city and killed hundreds of people; the blonde was actually very impressed by this, showing just how much this world has messed him up, but he didn't care about the people who died; he just wanted to see the King of Curse's powerful techniques.
Naruto watched as Sukuna was about to use his Domain Expansion, but Naruto would have none of it. The blonde sucker-punched the King of Curses across the face, sat on him, and flew into an empty building.
"Hello Mr. King of curses, I think you forgot about me," Naruto said, with a wicked look on his face.
"So you do have a death wish," said Sakuna as he got to his feet with a look of rage on his face. "After I spared you, this is what I get."
The blonde grinned at Sakuna, showing that he didn't care about what he had said, but Naruto just wanted to eliminate him. The two stared at each other before launching themselves at each other, starting a battle that would shake the Earth.
