Hey, y'all I'm back!

It has been brought to my attention that all I do is fave/follow other stories and very rarely leave a review. I would like to apologize for that. I would also like to take the time to give a big thank you to those who follow and fave my stories or in the case of AO3, give kudos and bookmark it. It's my driving force to keep me going.

I know Fried is the correct spelling for his name, but I've been using Freed for so long that I am not going back through everything to change the spelling.

Oh, and if you're wondering where I'm going with this story, well, even I don't know. I've been winging it and going with the flow. Haha. I do have an ending prepared for when I'm ready to call it good.

I'm tempted to go back and rewrite a lot of this. I decided to re-read what's out before the anime releases in July and there's just so much more I can add!

WARNING: Fairy Tail 100-Year-Quest spoilers if you're not caught up. You've been warned! I just can't hold back and unfortunately haven't figured out how to summarize like I did with the first two chapters. The spoilers I reveal in this chapter are not on the 100-Year-Quest itself.

Chapter 14

A couple of months have gone by. Natsu's group which consisted of himself, Happy, Lisanna, Gray, Juvia, Wendy, Carla, Erza, and Jellal went to the city of Gazania, home of the Sabertooth Guild, neighboring city of Crocus.

Of course, Natsu's first order of business when arriving was to start a fight with its members. Once Erza put a stop to it, she explained why they were there. After her explanation, she asked Rufus, Orga, Rogue, and Frosch to get on the next train to Acalypha and meet up with Lucy's group at the Orphanage. The directions to the place were simple enough so they didn't need anyone to meet up with them at the train station.

They visited for a little while, catching up, asking what Sabertooth did with all of that gold they took back with them after fighting Athena. Sting used some of it to pay for an even bigger and better pool than Fairy Tail's.

The sabers convinced the fairies to stay, they weren't in a time crunch anyway. Later on, the sabers would learn what it really means to party. The next day Blue Pegasus welcomed a bunch of fairies into their guild.

Lucy's group had a fun time at the orphanage, even Cobra. He won't show it, but he's extremely happy with what Lucy has done to the place. While being a part of Crime Sorceire he would wander away from the group to take care of any child trafficking going on. When he rescued them he would anonymously contact the rune knights and skedaddle on out of there before they showed up. He didn't like handing them over to the Rune Knights, they didn't like where they would be taken. One day though his mind was put at ease. He learned three fairies had joined the Rune Knights and knew those fairies wouldn't let anything happen to the kids. The day he learned that Gajeel showed up to save the kids. He may or may not have let Cobra get away.

Of course, the other two former members of the Oracion Seis were excited to see something like this as well. They too grew up on the Tower of Heaven, then were taken in by Brain.

It can go without saying how the members of Fairy Tail thought about this.

When all of the kids there saw Lucy they ran up to her and just about knocked her over. Laxus being quick, was able to stop her fall. The children oohed and ahhed at the sight of all the different wizards, especially the ones they remembered from the games. The wizards got forgotten about once the Sabertooth group showed up because of the cuteness that is Frosch.

Lucy told everyone to feel free and explore, however, she asked Laxus, Bickslow, and Cana to stay behind with her. Once the others left with the little ones following them talking their ears off, a kid roughly 5 or 6 with sunglasses on, came out from behind a tree and ran over to them.

"Miss Lucy!"

"Hello, Sanyo! How are you doing today buddy?" Lucy has given up on asking people to call her by her name, but no one ever listens.

""I'm doing good today." He looks at the rest of the group and his eyes remain on Bickslow which causes said man to get nervous.

"I'd like for you to meet my boyfriend Laxus, and my friends Cana and-"

"BICKSLOW!" the kid runs to him and looks up at him in awe. "It's really you!"

Cana snorts, "I don't know how he could be mistaken for anyone else." It earned her a smack on the arm by Lucy. "Hey!"

Bickslow chuckles and squats down to become eye level, "Hey kid, I'm not used to anyone being excited to see me." He notices a toy floating by the kid's head and it's an action figure of himself. He looks up at Lucy, "He's..."

Sanyo shouts before Lucy can answer, "Just like you!" He lunges at Bickslow and gives him a big hug.

Bickslow hugs him back and stands up with the kid still in his arms, "How did you get here?" he asks the kid.

"Miss Lucy found me and helped me so I wouldn't hurt anyone else." The action figure of Bickslow hovers near and Sanyo points at it, "That's Momma."

"Momma Bickslow," Laxus can barely get out without laughing his ass off.

Bickslow sweatdrops, his souls circle around them giggling and repeating Momma Bickslow. and the others laugh, making Laxus release the laughing he was trying to hold in. "Maybe we should find a different home for your buddy." He looks at Lucy again, "how did you teach him to do that?"

Sanyo once again answers, "She told me you name your first soul pappa! That's why I named mine Momma. Miss Lucy is very smart and knows a lot about seith magic. Did you know she can change into this cool costume that gives her glasses that protect her from my magic?"

"No, I don't believe I saw that one. How about you show us Cosplayer."

Lucy rolls her eyes, mutters, "I'm not a Cosplayer," and changes into her Capricorn Star Dress.

"Yes! That one! Isn't it so cool?"

Cana elbows Lucy's side, "Bixy is onto something, calling you Cosplayer."

Lucy crosses her arms and turns her head to the side, "Shut up."

As Sanyo continues to talk Bickslow's ear off about a very very tall goat and how they helped him Laxus looks Lucy up and down. Horns on her head, a different hairstyle he's seen on her, a sexy outfit that's purple and black that shows off her sexy legs. She has a collar with a chain that connects to said outfit, black long sleeves, and long white boots.

Laxus smirks at Lucy, "That's hot, but I think my favorite is still the one you used to protect me."

Cana slings an arm around Lucy, "Oh? How about you show us?"

Lucy blushes and steps away causing Cana's arm to fall then grabs her wrist to pull her along, "Can't, it takes up too much magic. C'mon Cana, let's leave the boys to it."

Laxus was upset with Lucy for not bringing Sanyo straight to Fairy Tail but understood when she explained that it would have been too overwhelming for him. It's overwhelming enough for him at the orphanage. While there are kids Sanyo's age at the guild, they can't relate to the pain Sanyo feels. It would have made him feel out of place and jealous that all of those kids still have their parents. Laxus almost cries at the sight of Bickslow holding a crying Sanyo when he tells the man that the soul in Bickslow's action figure is his Momma.

When the women are out of earshot of the three males, well technically two since Laxus will still be able to hear them Lucy lets go of Cana's wrist.

"How are you feeling about this? I ask because I don't know where you and Bickslow are at in your relationship and you know as well as I do that Bickslow will want to adopt him and-"

Cana puts her palm over Lucy's mouth, "Relax Lucy. We're in a good place. We've talked about our future and what we want, even children. We've been on the fence about it. Bickslow is worried about passing his magic down and I'm not sure how well I could handle pregnancy. This is perfect actually, It's sooner than expected, but perfect. Not to mention, being with Bickslow and Fairy Tail will be the best thing for him."

"What do you think Gildarts will think?"

Cana pales, "Crap, he doesn't even know about our relationship."

"You ought to get on that."

"But he'll destroy everything in the vicinity."

Lucy points to her left, "That over there is going to be the field where the kids practice using their magic, spar, brawl. Runes is being put up surrounding it to protect everyone else, tell him there."

"That's perfect."

They walk back over to where they left the three others and Sanyo is jumping up and down in joy about going back to Fairy Tail with them.

Bickslow looks nervously at his girlfriend, "Cana, I-"

"I know Bickslow and it's fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Mmmhmm, it just means we have to tell my father about our relationship soon."

It's Bickslow's turn to pale, "ahh fuck."

"Bickslow!" Lucy shouts, "Not in front of the kid."

"Lucy, if we're taking him back to Fairy Tail…"

The woman sighs, "I know."

All of Fairy Tail is at the orphanage now, checking it out, hanging the portraits that have been completed, and getting to know the kids and staff.

Now that Gildarts is back, Fairy Tail's was able to get done. Someone asked about Reedus. Lucy summoned Gemini to copy him to paint so the real Reedus could be in it. They even got individual portraits done. The only guild left is Quatro Cerberus who are waiting on Bacchus to get back from a mission.

All of the guilds loved Reedus's work so much that they spread the word about his artistic skills. Reedus now has a following and gets requested to do family portraits, a portrait of a specific scene such as the sun setting over the ocean.

"Freed! Levy!" Lucy calls out. When they approach her she asks, "Are the runes around the training field set up?"

"Yes, it took a bit even with Rufus's and Gemini's help, but it is all done."

"Why do you ask Lu?"

"That's where Cana and Bickslow are going to tell Gildarts about their relationship."

"Oh dear, Freed we better go double check it."

"Agreed."

Lucy giggles as she watches Levy waddle over and out of nowhere Gajeel is coming out of the shadows to carry her over there. She still has three months to go. This will be the first baby EVERYONE in Fairy Tail will get to greet into the world.

In between paperwork and information overload, Lucy's been busy since she got back from the 100-Year-Quest.

After Erza had tried skewering her when she accidentally knocked her cake off the table, Lucy had asked Bickslow to train with her. His fighting style seemed right up her alley. It was difficult and rigorous though. One day they talked to each other about their love for their souls and spirits. Lucy has been curious about something and asked Bickslow if Gemini could copy him. He gave her the okay and when Gemini transformed into him, his babies were confused as to which Bickslow they should listen to. It was cute listening to the confusion of the babies.

Since Levy was restricted on what she could and couldn't do Lucy would get together with her and Freed to talk about books and other things a lot of others would have trouble understanding. They mainly stay in the library away from all the mayhem and destruction, when they are upstairs Freed has runes around a section for Levy to be protected. Anyone else who wants to avoid brawls, and such can sit within those runes too.

Because of the amount of jewels she inherited it's been odd not having to go on missions for rent or food. The guild members of course grew suspicious, so she let that cat out of the bag on how she came to inherit that exorbitant amount. She explained how she used a good chunk to pay back Queen Hisui and started an account for Mira to use to cover the expenses for food, drinks, etc… Members of the guild asked why Lucy couldn't pay off their tabs Erza was the one to shut that idea down. Since leaving her old life the girl had struggled to make ends meet, mainly because of her team. Not only has she earned it, but it's also something her mother had saved for her.

Also, during these last couple of months, Lucy made her announcement to the guild about her new status and emphasized the importance of absolutely no one outside of the guild knowing. A lot were worried she would have to leave and were very relieved to find out that she didn't. They all made a promise not to say anything and of course, threw a party.

They threw another party when Anna and Ichiya came to the guild to announce their engagement. They all got a kick on how it came to be. Once it registered that Ichiya was going to be related to Lucy through marriage she had a minor freak out. She calmed down though when she saw just how happy the two made each other.

They threw yet another party, a housewarming party when all of the mages moving onto the FOSM (Fiore School and Orphanage for Mages) property settled in. This one was on the property, and it was kid-friendly during the day but come nighttime they moved their activities away from the buildings.

Just when they thought they couldn't party anymore Cobra was the one to announce that he proposed to Kinana. Talk about a surprise. Everyone knew they were dating but no one thought Cobra was ready to settle down so soon. In a moment of uncharacteristic vulnerability, he retorted that he finally has something good in his life, fucking great in fact, and he's not about to let it slip between his fingers.

He and Warren of all people formed a weird relationship. It could be because Warren's magic is similar to Cobra's. He can't hear one's soul, but he can hear one's thoughts, and for once Cobra knows what it's like for someone to intrude on his thoughts. Maybe Cobra is friendly with Warren, so he doesn't spill his secrets. He could easily poison the guy, but he's promised Kinana no poisoning her guild members, as well as listening in on them. They had decided to have two places. One on the FOSM property and an apartment in Magnolia.

Lucy is so happy for everyone. She however is nervous because soon it'll be time to inform the rest of the country. She still is not ready for it and is scared that despite Queen Hisui voiding previous marriage contracts, unless both parties agree, Duke Sawarr will still find a way around that.

She's startled when someone comes up from behind and wraps their arms around her. Realizing it's Laxus, which she should have known, relaxes and leans back against his hard chest.

"What's on your mind?" Laxus asks as he rests his chin on top of Lucy's head.

Lucy watches Cana, Bickslow, and Gildarts walk to the field fortified for the reaction they know is about to come. "Everything."

Laxus looks on in the same direction, "Is this even the time to tell him?"

"There will never be a good time. This is also the only place that can withstand Gildarts's reaction. At least, I hope it does."

"It will. Between you, Freed, Levy, and Gemini Freed this place is fortified with runes pretty damn good."

She steps out of Laxus's hold, grabs his hand, and pulls, "Come on let's get closer, I want to hear this."

You can tell when Cana breaks the news because Gildarts slowly turns his head in Bickslow's direction with a glare. A dark aura surrounds him, and he holds his hand out to attack Bickslow. Cana jumps in front of it taking the hit, dust clouds in the air. Once the dust settles, there's Chibi Cana's attacking Gildarts.

There's laughing in the air as Gildarts gets attacked by multiple copies of his daughter in chibi form some throwing cards at him, others pulling his hair, biting him. Gildarts doesn't seem to care and just hugs as many as he can.

Sanyo runs towards them yelling, "Turn Mommy back jerk!"

Gildarts turns his head to the kid "Mommy?"

As Sanyo lifts his sunglasses Bickslow runs over and hugs the kid to his chest. "Sanyo don't! We don't use our magic to hurt good people."

Sanyo squirms out of Bickslow's arms and points at Gildarts and Cana, "Look what he did to Mommy."

"Your grandpa didn't mean to do that to your mommy, his attack was meant for me." Bickslow sighs.

Sanyo tilts his head to the side, "Grandpa?" At the same time, Gildarts eyes bug out and he yells, "GRANDPA?!"

Gildarts with chibi Cana's still attacking him squats down, holding his arms out, "Come to grandpa!"

Sanyo crosses his arms and tries to look intimidating, "Not until you turn Mommy back."

Rubbing the back of his head he sheepishly says, "Oh right."

When Cana is back to normal she smacks Gildarts on the back of his head causing him to lose balance and fall face-first into the ground, "idiot!"

Bickslow squats down to be eye level with his son, "Seriously though Sanyo, you can't use your magic until I train you. If you do that one more time I'll have to ground you."

"But Dad, I just wanted to protect Mommy."

"I know kid. For right now just use the fighting techniques I taught you." Bickslow ruffles the kid's hair.

Gildarts sits up coughing up dirt and cries, "My little girl is all grown up. She has a boyfriend and a kid." His cries subside. "What's your name again kid?"

Sanyo looks up at Bickslow and when he nods he walks over to his grandpa, "Sanyo."

"How old are you?"

"Six."

Gildarts then states, "You have magic like your father." He then looks at Bickslow, "Is he yours?"

"Yes and no. We adopted him." Bickslow cautiously walks over and sits down on the ground, Sanyo plops down on his lap.

Cana backs away slowly and watches as the men in her life bond. She's a little startled when Lucy is at her side.

"Reedus is painting a picture as we speak."

Cana looks over, "Why are we having Reedus paint everything when we can just take pictures."

"Reedus loves to paint, especially his guild family. As far as taking pictures, Mira is doing that. You know she always has one handy."

"Alright, you four!" speak of the devil, "Time for a family photo!"

Cana sighs and walks over to her guys as they stand. She's in between Bickslow and Gildarts and has Sanyo in front of her.

"Perfect!"

"Lucy! Laxus!" Cana shouts, "Get over here. We need one with the godparents as well."

"Godparents!" Everyone shouts.

Everyone is shocked when there's no evil aura seeping off of Mira. She looks around at the stunned faces.

"What? Did you expect me to be upset?"

Erza is the one to answer, "Well yeah, you're always going on about being the godmother to all of the kids."

"Well, Lucy can make it up to me by naming me the godmother of hers and Laxus's future kids."

Both Laxus and Lucy blush and make their way over. Their relationship is still new and aren't even living with each other yet. Lucy has no problem losing her virginity before marriage, but she would at least like to be married before having children but, what if he doesn't want to get married?

Surprisingly, Laxus would like to get married first before having kids, and if he knew Lucy would say yes he'd ask her now. He's ready to settle down, however he has five years on her. Are there things she would like to do before taking that step? First, he needs to ask her to move in with him.

The five of them get in position for the picture. Laxus and Bickslow are in the back behind their women, arms wrapped around them, and Gildarts is sitting cross-legged in front of them with Sanyo on his lap.

After that everything goes back to normal, well what's normal for Fairy Tail. Gray and Natsu had started a fight, so they were herded over to the field to duke it out. While everyone got out of their way, Sanyo was almost hit by a stray attack which led to Gildarts and Bickslow attacking the fire and ice mages. Gildarts and Bickslow, what an unlikely team which reminds Lucy.

"Laxus! Remember my idea?"

"Uh, you have a lot of ideas."
