Daphne rolled out of bed, the sun already peaking through her curtains. She looked down at her watch and sighed, she still had at least two hours before she was due to meet up with Harry. She quickly decided that there was no point in going back to sleep, already filled with energy, she quickly got dressed and decided that instead of driving she would walk down to the park and stop for coffee on her way.

She wandered through the gate to the park and down the path to take a seat on the bench where she was scheduled to meet Harry. She sipped absently on her iced coffee as she watched people walk by and families play on the nearby playground.

The sound of footsteps drew her attention and she watched with a wide grin as Harry stumbled up to her, yawning.

"It's too early to be a functioning human," Harry muttered as he pushed his sunglasses up atop of his head to rub at his eyes, "So bright," he complained immediately when the bright sunlight burned his tired eyes.

Daphne glanced down at her watch to confirm the time and said, "Harry, it's 11 a.m."

Harry just stared and Daphne was sure that he was glaring from behind his sunglasses, "Right, well, it feels earlier," he mumbled.

Daphne playfully rolled her eyes and pulled out her mobile phone to select her favorite playlist for their jog. As the music started, she gave Harry a quick peck on the cheek and said, "Come on, Hero, let's go."

"Don't call me that," Harry grumbled but couldn't hide his smile as he quickly caught up and jogged beside her.

*o*o*

"I think I'm dying," Harry gasped dramatically.

"Don't exaggerate. We've barely started," Daphne laughed.

As they rounded the bend of the trail Daphne spotted a juice stand in the distance, "Beat you to the juice stand?" she challenged, her silver eyes sparkling with mischief.

"You're on!" Harry replied as he picked up his pace.

Daphne was quickly catching up to Harry, "Is that all you got? Doesn't seem like it will be enough!" she taunted him as she slowly closed the distance.

"This is so mine." Harry insisted.

"I'm taking this!"

"No, Daph, I'm taking this. Don't do it," Harry warned as Daphne overtook Harry.

"Yeah, I'm gonna have to beat you," Daphne laughed, "I don't think it gonna be enough."

"No! That's not fair!" Harry gasped, "Ow! Ohh! Oh!" Harry groaned as he limped to a stop.

Daphne quickly stopped and ran back, "You alright?"

Her brow furrowed as she looked over her friend, "Cramp?" she asked as Harry held his thigh.

"Yeah," he mumbled.

"You sure?" she checked.

"Yeah. Yeah, I think…" he trailed off and then took off at a dead sprint, "I think I'm gonna beat you!"

Daphne jaw dropped as Harry sprinted the last few feet and once he touched the juice stand turned to face her and he yelled out, "Victory!"

"That's pathetic," Daphne grumbled as she walked up to Harry who had started his victory dance, "I…I'm going to pretend I didn't see that," she motioned towards the jerky movements that Harry called dancing.

Harry just laughed and continued to shake his hips as he slowly moved backward. Unfortunately, he didn't notice the bench behind him. With a loud thud, Harry tripped over the bench and landed on his butt, much to Daphne's amusement.

"Kar-ma" she sang teasingly as she walked over to help him up.

"Yeah, Yeah," Harry grumbled, rubbing his sore butt.

"Come on, juice is on me," Daphne laughed.
