A/N: I had originally posted this story on May 2023. But since I was not satisfied with my work, I reposting it again, starting from Prologue which was previously not there. I will try to post each chapter on alternative Sundays (IST). But in case I am unable to stick to the schedule, you will positively receive the next chapter on the 3rd Sunday. Thank you for staying with me.

Prologue
Ding-g-g-g!
I sprinted through the crowded streets, trying to go as fast as possible without arousing suspicion.
Dong-g-g-g!
My head snapped to the clock in panic. My jacket flapped behind me as I pushed through the storms of red-cloaked people.
Ding-g-g-g!
I leaped across a fountain. There was family of four right in front of me.
Dong-g-g-g!
I ran around them and spotted an extremely familiar pale figure walking slowly out of the doors with his eyes closed.
Ding-g-g-g!
My thoughts failed to articulate the unbridled relief, joy and pain at seeing him. He looked exactly like I had seen him in my dreams. Only, more beautiful. It seemed that even my dreams and imagination couldn't truly replicate how heartbreakingly beautiful he was.
His feet were just mere millimetres away from the sunlit square. I couldn't let him continue forward. Pressing one feet on the pavement, I propelled myself towards the base of the tower and...
Dong-g-g-g!
… collided with him. I shielded his half-naked body with mine and pushed him backwards towards the shadows.
I sighed in relief.
I was ready to put my life at stake to protect him. To protect him and his family. The danger was not over yet. But it was at least put-off. For now.
