AN: I originally wrote this story when I was 12. That was 14 years ago. It's time for the story to be rewritten, so here it goes. I hope you all enjoy it.

Prologue

A beautiful, yet elderly, blue she-cat looked below in curiosity. Her paws rested upon the clouds of StarClan. She stared for a while, watching the kit below run and play with its siblings. The curiosity hit when the she-cat was caught by surprise by the kit's color. The kit was black with white specks. She had never seen a cat with such coloring before. She sat a bit longer in contemplation, watching as the kit bounced around and played with its siblings. Quietly, almost whispering, she said, "My, I believe this kit will be quite a warrior."

Unsurprisingly, a voice answered, "And a great leader. I've seen it. She brings peace to the forest."

The blue she-cat turned. "I should be careful when I speak aloud. This is just proof that I am never alone."

The cat behind her sat down. She was a beautiful tortoiseshell, and her eyes held a different kind of wisdom in them than the blue-she cat. "You are never alone here, that is true. But do you think my words are untrue, Bluestar?"

Bluestar leaned backwards, pulling herself into a sit as well. "I wonder sometimes about the predictions you have. I am unsure how your wisdom differs from mine, but I recognize that there is a difference. How can you tell a cat will be a leader when they are just a kitten?"

"Trust me, Bluestar. Can't you just imagine her skill. She'll help force away all the doubts about SkyClan," Spottedleaf said, continuing to stare at Bluestar.

"I trust you, Spottedleaf. I will continue to watch her as she grows. I have faith in SkyClan." Bluestar leaned forward again, watching the kit with wonder.

Spottedleaf did not leave. She remained sitting in the same spot as Bluestar continued to watch. In certainty, she said, "SkyClan deserves nothing but the best of faith. I will continue to watch with you, Bluestar."

Bluestar turned her head, eyeing Spottedleaf for a second, and then she returned her eyes back to the kit. "We will watch together then."
