Once upon a time, there was a boy who had no parents at this time. Until a man named Bruce Wayne who is also known as Batman who took him in. His name was Richard of Dick Grayson, who renamed himself as Boy wonder. But he prefers to be called Robin, because he likes it better than Boy Wonder. At first he didn't like the name Robin because he thought that people would make fun of him for having a name like that, but after Batman tells him that he is Robin. He had grown used to it, and liked the idea of being Robin.
He accepted what Batman called him. But he left Batman as soon as Robin felt that he was ready to move on with his life, Batman let Robin go but he will never forget him. However, Robin will never forget the man who trained him to fight crime, save lives and even help the nice and good people.
He belonged to a team of teenage superheroes and they were called; The Teen Titans, he was the leader of them and got everything that he could have ever wanted.
He was brave even if he didn't have any superpowers, he had many friends that cared about him. He had love for them all, but there is someone that he really likes a lot and that is a mystery to find out. Even when Robin grows up and eventually changes his name to Nightwing. He will always be Robin on the inside, no matter how old he gets.
Robin was looking down at his parent's gravestones; he misses them very much ever since the instant death during the circus act.
"Hey Richard." Batman also known as Bruce Wayne walked towards Robin for comfort. "I'm sorry for your loss."
"I...I don't have anyone to...I don't have anywhere else to go, or have anyone that I know to live with." Robin was crying, he was at least 8 years old when he was taken in by Batman who made him feel that he is at home. He was trained to fight crime and save lives for the good. But he left Batman when he was ready to move on, and it was a hard day for him and his family in the Batcave.
"I'm sorry Batgirl, I have to move on." Robin said to Batgirl.
"I understand Robin, but will you visit us?" Batgirl asked.
"I will try to Batgirl." Robin hugged his two friends and he left the Batcave to start out fresh on another team of superheroes.
Robin wakes up from his dream, "Batman? Did I really see him?" he walked out of his room after getting changed from his pajamas into his superhero usual wear. He was not in the Batcave, he was in a tower in the shape of a T, to which he is not alone. He is living with 4 other superheroes, and they all looked out for each other.
He was the leader of the Teen Titans and has 4 friends. There was; Raven who is the girl with dark magic, Starfire who speaks in another language that no one can understand but herself. Then there was; Terra who can move the earth, Cyborg who is half man and half robot and Beast boy who can shapeshift into any animal he wants.
Inside the Titans tower in the living room where there were the rest of the Teen Titans. "Morning Titans, I know you'll like breakfast this morning." Robin said, pulling out the eggs with ham on plates that came with toast.
"Thanks Robin, this looks great." Cyborg said as he grabbed his plate along with the rest of the Titans that got their plates. Raven drinks her tea as she eats her breakfast as Robin glances over at Raven's purple eyes. She looks up at Robin with a smile and with a wink in her eye as to show him that she has a crush on him.
"Robin, may we have a talk alone?" Terra asked.
"Sure Terra," Robin replied as he and Terra walked outside of the living room and they walked into Terra's room, Terra locked the door behind them. "What is it, Terra?" Robin asked, "I hope nothing is wrong."
"No Robin, really nothing is wrong. It's just there is something that you should know." Terra said as she took her laptop from her desk and was writing something on her computer, "I think Raven likes you." Terra smirked, as Robin did like Raven a lot but was shy to admit it.
"No no no no Terra, we're just friends that's all." Robin said.
"Oh really? Come on Robin, just tell me the truth, do you like Raven?" Terra asked.
"As a friend I do, but I mean we never had...Well, I never have come around to having that commitment to her yet." Robin blushed.
"You should ask her out someday." Terra said, but Robin wasn't so sure if he should break up with Starfire and go with Raven. "But since you're dating Starfire, you have to make a choice when you should break up with her and ask Raven out or not Robin. Remember, there is always time to take that opportunity."
"I'll have to think about that Terra, it's just hard for me to choose. Raven and I have a lot of things in common that we like and dislike, and sometimes disagree. She can tell me anything that she wouldn't tell anyone else but me...Well, she's just...she is a mystery to know when you see her." Robin replied as he walked out of Terra's room and walked down to Raven's room.
Once he got there, he looked around to make sure that Starfire or anyone else wasn't around and he knocked on her door.
She opened her door and Looked at Robin. "What?" She asked.
"Raven, I was just wondering about what horror movies do you watch?" Robin blushed as he was too shy to speak to another girl that has a bird name.
"I watch stuff like zombies, anything with blood or gore...and maybe sometimes with nudity that leads into sex." Raven answered as she was also shy to speak more to Robin who is the leader of the Titans.
"That's cool, I was wondering if you would like to go and see a movie together." Robin stated as Raven pulled him into her room and closed her door.
"Robin, you are with Starfire!" Raven said, freaking out a little, "Are you nuts? If she finds out that you're taking me to the movies, she'll kill you for that. I just don't think it is right to do that." Raven said, she sighed. "Besides she'll get mad with you and a bit with me possibly."
"Raven, if we can keep this a secret then she won't get mad. I am just trying to think of what to do...and I just haven't decided on what I want to do yet." Robin said, then Raven had an idea.
"I have an idea and I know it will work, but it'll have to be a secret." Raven said as she was brushing her hair when she got the idea.
"What is the idea?" Robin asked as Raven placed her hand on his mouth, just so he could stop talking so she could speak.
"When Cyborg, Terra, Beast Boy and Starfire go to do a mission. We'll fake sick to make them think we're sick and we'll go to the movies, and when they get back to the tower they don't see us. We'll tell them that we're at the clinic to find out why we're both very sick, it will work just trust me on this." Raven chuckled, Robin loved the idea.
"That's a great idea, Raven, you come up with great ideas, that is what I was going to say." Robin said as Raven gave him a hug.
"What movie do you want to see?" Raven asked.
"Any horror movie you want to see, we'll go to that." Robin said as Raven looked on her phone at what horror movies were playing at the movie theater.
"How about we go see this movie, it is called; "The Island of the Dead". It is about a group of people who are on an island while a zombie outbreak is happening." Raven suggested.
"Sounds good Raven I'm in, even though I am not a fan of zombies but...whatever you want to see at the movie theater is totally fine with me, I don't get scared easily." Robin replied.
"Like how can we keep this secret between you and me about hanging out? You know, just the two of us without the other Titans noticing or seeing?" Raven asked.
"We should just tell them that we're friends, and I hope Starfire doesn't know and then gets jealous at us because we're dating." Robin replied while he gulped at the fact that he was worried that Starfire will find out.
"Well I suppose so we could do that, but I am just hoping that Starfire will understand...You know like telling her that the relationship that you're in with her isn't going too well, and remain friends. However, that doesn't mean she isn't your friend. But also say that you are still her friend." Raven replied as she took a sip of her herbal tea.
"Well, I guess I can say that. But it'll have to be a while of a wait for me to make my choice on what I want to do. But I am sure that I'll figure something out." Robin said then he left Raven's room and turned back to smile at Raven before leaving her room.
